Corrine Aaron walked down the sunny cobblestone street lined with colorful shop fronts. Her charcoal converse made soft tapping sounds against the ancient and worn street and she looked around Diagon Alley with wondering eyes. Cory had never been a place like this and each time she came it never ceased to amaze her.
As she passed the Owl Emporium she moved to the opposite side of the street. Even not inside the shop Cory could feel her throat starting to close up. Quickly she reached inside her purse, searching for her epipen just in case. Thankfully, Cory was able to pass the Owl Emporium by without going into anaphylactic shock. Breathing a sigh of relief she continued on down the street, now lost in memories.
The first time Cory had ever gone into an owl shop her reactin had been so severe she had been hospitolized for several days. After that Cory had to undergo tests to see if she was allergic to anything else. Turns out she is allergic to cats and certain types of birds, owls included. That pretty much made it impossible for her to own a pet in school, unless she wanted a toad.
When she finally reached her destination Cory gave out a relieved sigh. Her body ached from Quidditch practice yesterday becuase the team captain had made them run fifty laps around the Quidditch Pitch. Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour was bright and cheerful, the tiles and awnings multicolored, reminding her out of something from the muggle's 1960s. She ordered a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone topped with chocolate sprinkles and took a seat at one of the outdoor tables. Sitting so she faced the cobblestone alley she watched all of the people pass by as she licked her ice cream cone.
