To the world, she was dead. Nothing more than a rotting body six feet underneath the ground. Oh how wrong they were. Bellatrix, being the evil little slag she is, devised and executed the plan to have Kelsey's death faked. Now everyone Kelsey loved thought she was dead and she was under Bellatrix's control. Everything was different now and would never be how it was again.
Knowing that there was no going back and changing the past, Kelsey had decided to make the best of the situation that she was in. She did everything Bellatrix asked her to do and never dared to object against the woman's wishes. Over the weeks that she was with the woman, Kelsey had learned many, many skills. Yes, she had tortured multiple people and luckily had not killed anyone yet. She knew that day was going to come though. It was all a part of the plan.
Bellatrix wanted to take over the Ministry. Kelsey knew that this idea only came into Bella's head after she had mentioned it while talking one day. After many months of planning and toiling, Bellatrix had finally done it. The Death Eaters had successfully infiltrated the Ministry and Bella named herself as the Mistress of Magic. Everything was working in their favor now and Kelsey was given more and more tasks from the evil witch.
Kelsey pulled on her cloak as she stood in her room that Bellatrix had given her. Many of the Order members had been fighting in the Ministry and trying to take it back. Bellatrix had made sure to position all of her Death Eaters all over the building to ensure that they were not over powered by the Order. Kelsey pulled on her mask and looked at herself. Never had she imagined that she would be getting ready to fight for the Death Eaters. Seeing herself in the mask was like an outer body experience. It was like she was not even looking at herself anymore but a stranger. To the world though, she was a stranger. She was no longer the Kelsey the world had once known. That girl had disappeared the moment everyone thought she was dead.
Turning on the spot, Kelsey apparated to the Ministry atrium. She was greeted by some of her fellow Death Eaters and she merely nodded, showed her dark mark and headed up to the second level of the building. She had been assigned to defend the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and also make changes to some of the rules and regulations for the department. Wand in hand, Kelsey wandered into one of the offices that use to be occupied by a head of the department. She began to rummage through the filing cabinets, searching for important documentation and such. After finding all that she needed to find, Kelsey glanced at the room from under her Death Eater mask. Deciding to have some fun, Kelsey smirked and waved her wand, breaking random objects. Trashing the room was not part of the plan but she needed to let off some steam and yes, Bellatrix's destructive ways had been getting to her head slightly. Who said she couldn't have a little bit of fun while fulfilling her mission.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins It had been weeks since Kelsey died. Every day that had passed seemed to get harder and harder to get through. The only thing Robert ever thought about was that day - graduation. He went over and over the entire day, from beginning to end. He recalled how, when it was time for Kelsey to receive her diploma, that touch of pride in his voice when he called her name. He remembered that, even though not everyone made it there, it was something they got to share together. It was the last thing they shared together. Robert had given her his mother's necklace, something he nearly forgot he had until a few days earlier. He gave it to her because she deserved it. Even though it had been meant for Kelsey for on her wedding day, graduation had to do. It didn't matter to Robert when he gave it to, just that she had it. She was suppose to hold on to it and give it Mandee-lynn someone. Now, the necklace remained on her neck, underground, in her coffin.
Robert refused to leave the house during the day after the funeral. He didn't wan to hear anything from anyone. He didn't want to talk to them. He didn't want to see them. Robert spent his days inside, helping Mandy with the baby. They were the only two people he could bear to see really. After the funeral, Robert, Vince, and Anton had a argument. Well, really it was just Anton and Vince. Robert went for a drink after the funeral...or for six..maybe eight. He didn't really remember. It was the only time through this whole thing that he did it, surprising even himself. He just needed that one time on that day to just...not feel anything. Robert still behaved, he came ...stumbling but, he still came home instead of going to someone's home. That was an improvement. Given the circumstances, Robert thought it was something Mandy couldn't get too mad at him about. It was just one day, the hardest day, and then that was it. He just needed that day.
So, Robert spent all day at home. He was going to try to be the father to Talia and he never was to Kelsey. Robert didn't feel like he should get a second chance but, he wasn't going to repeat his mistakes now that he had one. But, late at night, when everyone was sleeping...that's when he would leave. Robert didn't go far. He went to the cemetery. The first time he went, he visited him mum, he didn't have it in him to visit Kelsey. It took him quite a few nights to get that far. From then on, Robert went there every night. He would just sit there, leaning against the headstone. Sometimes he would cry, other times..he would just talk, drumming up old memories of her childhood. She was still just a child, a teenager yet really...technically. Robert apologized to her over and over and over, hoping that where ever people went when they died that she heard him. It shouldn't have been her, she didn't deserve death. It should have been him, he deserved more than anyone else. That's what ate at him the most. The heavy guilt, pain, sadness, it at ate him like a virus. It attacked his heart, and from there spread all over him, it took over.
Every morning Robert woke up, sometimes in his own bed, or on the couch..or in his study. He woke up, continually wishing this was all just a horrible nightmare. Every morning he looked at himself in the mirror, sometimes for long periods of time...just, thinking..blaming himself for everything that he could possibly trace back to being his fault - which was just about everything wrong with his family. One morning in particular, Robert woke up extremely early. Mandy was sleeping next to him, Talia was over in her cradle, sleeping soundly as well. He stole out of bed, out of the room, trying not to wake them. He quietly headed downstairs, making himself some coffee. The morning seemed to pass by like every day was passing by. Nothing had changed, he still felt the same as he had these past few weeks. Today, it would only get worse.
The Daily Prophet arrived, followed by an urgent message from the Order. Bellatrix had finally made a move. She had taken over the Ministry and proclaimed herself the Ministress. Robert looked at the headline after reading the message from the Order, they needed all they help they could get to fight to get back the Ministry. An old feeling stirred in Robert. A feeling he hadn't felt in ages. Bitter revenge. He had promised that he would kill Bellatrix, even if it meant the death of him. He had made all the arrangements - a will and all - in case that did happen. Robert went up to the attic, digging through boxes, finding his old Death Eater robes...and mask. He hadn't worn these in years but, it would be the easiet way to get to her. No one could stop him. He would kill anyone that tried. Once he at least got in, he'd rip off that horrid mask, and then rip off her horrid face. No, that was too quick. Once Robert got a hold of her, he was going to torture her..nice and slowly - like in the good old days. She would appreciate it...for a while.
Robert told Mandy he was going to go help, and not to worry he would be fine and he would come back (although he was sure he wasn't going to). He kissed her goodbye, and Talia goodbye before apparating to the Ministry. Outside in the street, he put on the old robe. It still fitted him. He felt...dirty putting the old thing it. It repulsed him really. Once he had that old mask on though, his mind became clear. It wasn't muddled with sad thoughts of his dead daughter laying in the ground. He knew exactly what he wanted to do, and no one was going to stop him. It was funny how these old articles of clothing held so much power. Robert felt like he once did like back in the day, in his Death Eater days.
Just as he planned, Robert stole into the Ministry, fooling everyone. They were all so busy, some dueling, others torturing. He passed all that on the sole mission to find Bellatrix. Find her and finish her once and for all. Robert made it to the second level. It was quiet, too quiet. He took of that old mask, throwing it the floor. He forgot how stuffy that got after awhile. With his wand at the ready, Robert silently passed through the hall. Passing by some offices (he didn't take the time to see which) he heard some crashing sounds. Someone was destroying the room. Robert should have kept going, until he found Bellatrix but, she liked to destroy rooms...maybe it was her in there. There was only one way to find out. Stepping back from the door, Robert pointed his wand at it and blew the door open. It ripped open like it was struck with a violent force of wind, blowing it off its hinges. Robert stepped in the door way, waiting for paper and dust to settle. All he could see was a black figure in the room. Time for a duel, he was sure. Robert didn't know if this was Bellatrix but, so what. He needed some practice before taking her on. This was probably some pathetic little pup he could take out rather quickly. All it really took was one spell but, he was saving that for someone special.

Kelsey had often wondered how her father was dealing with this. If he was the same man that he always had been, he was probably getting drunk every night to numb the pain. It killed her heart to think that he was hurting so much. The poor man had been through so much already and did not deserve to have this burden his mind also. There was no doubt in her mind that he was blaming himself for everything that happened and was probably isolating himself from the world. Typical LeBlanc behavior.
Kelsey had also began to wonder how her mother was. There was no doubt in her mind that the baby was probably born and Kelsey would have a little baby sister. She longed to meet this little girl. Sure, she had been against the whole baby thing at the beginning but now she was excited to have a little sister. Hopefully the baby would be enough to help ease her parent's minds of the fact that their other daughter was dead.
Thinking of her little sister made Kelsey also think of her own children. She wanted nothing more than to be able hold those children in her arms and never let them go. She missed them so much that it hurt. They were so young and so oblivious to the world. They would grow up not knowing about her and it killed her inside. She would be forever isolated from her former life. Hopefully they would find some sort of happiness in their life without her.
As she stood in the office, Kelsey continued to use her wand to destroy various objects in the room. Her eyes landed upon a family photo of the man who had owned the office and his wife along with their two children. This photo made Kelsey think of her own small little family and anger bottled up inside of her. It was no fair that this man was able to be happy and with his family while she was here miserable and isolated from everyone that she loved. Waving her wand, Kelsey sent the picture flying from its place on the desk. It slammed against the wall and she smirked as the broken glass shattered into a thousand little pieces that fell to the ground. She pointed her wand at the picture once again and caused whatever remained to go up in flames. It was then that she decided to destroy as many families as she could. She was tired of everyone else in the world being happy except for her.
Just then, her attention was drawn towards the door as it blew up. Pieces of wood and door parts spattered around the office. Kelsey knew that this must be an order member and she quickly pointed her wand towards her throat and muttered a small spell. This spell was to disguise her voice so that no one would recognize it. The last thing that she needed was for people to know that she was still alive.
Kelsey waited for the small cloud of dust to part so that she could see the face of whoever was there. Then, as she finally caught sight of her attacker, her jaw dropped. There stood her father. Panic came across her as she contemplated on what to do. A part of her wanted to throw her mask to the ground and run to him, saying that she was still alive and that it was all Bellatrix's idea. However, the more rational side of her knew that wasn't an option. This was her life now and if she revealed herself to her father than everyone she loved was as good as dead, especially with Bellatrix in control of the ministry.
"Well, well. If it isn't Robert LeBlanc," Kelsey said in the best cold tone that she could muster. Her voice was more deep and evil now that she disguised it and she hoped that Robert could not tell that it was her under the mask. Kelsey stood there for a moment, not really knowing what to say. She didn't want to fight with her father nor hurt him so she had to disarm him and fast.
"Expelliarmus," Kelsey shouted, her wand pointed at Robert. She watched as the jet of light left her wand and made its way towards her father. Hopefully, if everything went right, it would hit him and she would be able to take his wand without harming him. She then planned on hiding him somewhere in the ministry so that no one else could hurt him or take him from her. There was one thing that was for sure, Kelsey wouldn't have the heart to kill her father if it came down to that.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins Robert coughed once or twice, breathing in a bit of the dust. He didn't know why he just didn't open the door. It was probably unlocked. Nah, busting it open was more fun - a better entrance really. Once everything settled, he say a Death Eater standing alone in the room. He (or she) looked like a young one that he caught by surprise. Robert shook his head slightly, even with the mask on he could tell it was a young and inexperienced Death Eater. He/she was concentrating on trashing a room when there probably still some Ministry officials left in the building they could arrest, or whatever they were doing with them. Killing them probably. All Robert wanted was Bellatrix. If he had to torture a few poor souls to find out where she was, well that's something he would deal with later. He could it, it would be like old times.
He tilted his head slightly as the cloaked figure said him name. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe this wasn't some young kid, an old friend perhaps? In that case this would more fun than he originally thought. Robert didn't recognize the voice though, and that had him a bit confused. Then again, it could be masked. "Well, I never could resist a good...party," he said, with a touch of darkness in his voice. It was weird, being in this sort of situation. Robert was filled with the burning need to avenge Kelsey's death but, there was also that old feeling. That feeling of being back in the action, like the old times. No, no - he was different now. He gave up that way of life because of Kelsey, he couldn't go back to it because of her either. Besides, Bellatrix was probably going to kill him anyway. He doubted if she would ever trust him. He wouldn't trust him.
Robert was able to dodge the 'expelliarmus' in time. He chuckled, shaking his head. "Expelliarmus? Really?" Now he did know this was a young Death Eater. Anyone older and they would have killed him right away, or done something worse. Robert circled around a desk, fragments of glass breaking under his feet. "Come on, is that really the best you've got? A big, bad Death Eater like yourself? Mostly everyone I know either wants to kill me or cause severe pain." Robert scoffed, "Expelliarmus, ha!" He stopped walking, facing the Death Eater once more, and pointed his wand at him/her. Everte Statum!" He yelled quickly, and a jet of light left is wand. It was a spell that should send him/her flying backwards. He hoped it was enough so he could just get the information he wanted and leave. All Robert wanted to know was where Bellatrix was. Funny how she decided to come out now, when her horocrux was gone. Anyone could kill her now. Maybe that was the point, anyone could kill her unless they knew. No one knew, except for a select few and Robert himself...and those he told in the Order.

Kelsey knew that the moment that she casted the expelliarmus spell that Robert would think it was weak. She didn't know what else to do. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt her father. However, if she continued to use easy spells on him than he would see right through her disguise. She really should have thought this through more. She found herself being more unprepared than ever before and she hated that.
Kelsey listened and looked at her father through her Death Eater mask as he made fun of her attempts to disarm him. She could sense the bitterness and craving for revenge in his voice. If only he knew that standing just feet before him was the daughter that he thought he had lost. The one that he assumed was buried six feet under the ground in some cemetery. Kelsey had went to visit her grave one day. She had wore a disguise so no one would recognize her and left the house that she was being held captive in. It had been one of the only days that Bellatrix had allowed her out of the house and she knew that she was more than likely being followed by another Death Eater. As she stood before her grave it was like an outer body experience. It was then that it finally hit her that to the world, she was dead. Everything about the grave was beautiful and it touched her that there were so many bouquets of flowers laying there for her. The headstone was beautiful and she knew that this was how she wanted to be remembered in death.
Snapping back to reality, Kelsey waited for her father to be done his little rampage. When she thought he was finished, she opened her mouth to speak but then was suddenly hit by a spell. Her body was sent up in the air and flew backwards into the wall. She hit the wall with great force and groaned as she laid limp on the floor. Her back pained in agony as she laid there, not moving for a moment. Then, gaining all the strength she could muster, Kelsey unsteadily stood up and looked at her father.
"You know, I thought of going easy on you since you have hit old age and all but now you are really just starting to piss me off," Kelsey said in the meanest voice she could muster. The spell to disguise her was flawed and only lasted a short amount of time. Luckily, it was still slightly in effect, though her voice was cracking a bit as she spoke. She needed to finish this battle fast before her voice returned to normal. She knew that the moment her father heard her normal voice that he would know it was her. After all, what father wouldn't know his own daughter's voice.
"If you are looking for Bellatrix, which I assume you are, then I regret to inform you that I haven't the slightest idea where she is. If you like I could make you an appointment to see her," Kelsey smirked, snickering at her own little joke. All she really wanted to do was just tug on her father's strings a bit to get him all fired up. It was always a thrill for her to watch the vein in his forehead bulge when he was angry. "Better yet, why don't I just do her the favor and kill you now," Kelsey finished. She quickly gained all the strength she could and raised her wand arm. "Sectumsempra," She shouted and her voiced cracked a little bit more. She made sure to point her wand not directly at Robert but only a mere few inches away from his body so that it would look like she was aiming for him but the spell will miss. After all, the last thing she really wanted to do was kill her father. That would destroy her beyond words.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins Robert smirked as he watched his spell hit the masked figure. He watched him/her fly back against the wall, crumpling down, probably in pain. Robert contemplated sending all these shards of glass toward him/her while they were down. But...that would be just too cruel. Robert had to remind himself he wasn't that person anymore but, he missed himself. Robert missed this part, the thrill of the...chase, kill - whatever. It was fun, and he forgot how fun it really was. Still, this pathetic excuse for a Death Eater wasn't what he wanted. This was turning into a waste of time.
Robert continued to watch, stepping closer to the figure who struggled to get up. He scoffed at the comment. "Old age? Really, that's the best insult you could come up with?" Robert chuckled, slightly amused. The sign of amusement quickly dropped from his face, and a glare and dark look soon replaced it. He didn't have time for this bullshit. All he wanted to know was where in this building he find Bellatrix. This was just getting down right annoying now.
"An appointment? Uh, no. Sorry, I'd rather just surprise her. I'm sure she would just love to see me again," he replied. Robert shook his head, he should do this one a favour and kill it before it did something stupid. Oh, they were going to kill him were they? Robert let out a light laugh at that. He stood there, and waited for it. This Death Eater just seemed so weak. It would probably be some stupid spell that could easily be dodged, deflected, or missed. Robert got his spell. Only, it wasn't stupid it was actually something serious. Luckily, it missed. He didn't even move out of the way for it, it was just bad aim.
He looked behind him. The spell it a desk, which turned into a pile of rubble. Robert looked back around at the Death Eater. "That was suppose to kill me?" he snorted, pointing at the desk. He smiled again, darkly, amused at the pitiful attempt. All thoughts of anything had left his head. The only thing he was focused on was finding Bellatrix and killing her. The thought had complete consumed him in the past ten minutes, and now that he had someone to practice on...well, he more or else and regressed back to his own sort of death eater cruelness. Revenge was poisonous, and Robert was infected. With a dark smirk, Robert flicked his wand. A a few ropes appeared and a chair appeared. The ropes wrapped themselves tightly around his opponent, forcing them to sit in the chair, in which the ropes then tied the person to. Flicking his wand again, Robert made sure the ropes where tight, tight enough to inflict just the smallest amount of pain and discomfort. For his own safety purposes, Robert accioed his opponent's wand to him.
He started to slowly walk about the room, settling on circling slowly around his tied up subject before bringing forth a chair for himself, setting it in front of the death eater and sitting down with it. "You know, you are a pathetic excuse for a death eater. See by now, I should either be begging for mercy or dead because well, let's face it, I left the club and joined the other club. So, you have every reason to kill me. In fact, I came here prepared to die," he said. "I mean, I'm really prepared. I re-wrote my will and - " he stopped mid sentence. While he had been talking, Robert had been looking at the wand. He recognized it instantly. Hell, he should since he bloody bought the thing. This was Kelsey's wand. Robert looked up with a searing, wicked glare straight through the mask he/she had on. "Where did you get this?!" he nearly roared, lifting her wand up.
The small detail of Kelsey's wand pushed him over the edge. This had to be some sick joke. Maybe he was just imagining it because he missed her so much, and maybe the would was just similar. It might not really be her wand but, he really didn't care. He was pissed, really, really, pissed at this small similarity. Without even waiting or letting the death eater captive answer, Robert pocketed Kelsey's wand, and raised his own at the death eater. He issued three curses in succession. This death eater was soon going to wish they hadn't been born. The first curse he fired (and at extremely close range) was axelo. This curse was meant to literally rip apart a person's insides, like they were being hacked by an axe. Robert took this curse a little easy. Instead of the internal organs really being ripped apart, this death eater would only feel the effects, while their organs remained intact. That was worse than the full effects of the curse - the death eater would remain alive.
Robert let this curse sit for a few moments before casting his second curse, defodio. This curse would cause phsycial harm, gouges in various places of the body. Again, Robert cast it somewhat weak. Gouges would appear but, they wouldn't be as deep as he could make them. He didn't want to kill this death eater right away. He was using his old "torture until I get my information and then maybe I'll be nice enough to just kill you" method. Back in the day, Robert had been very, very good with this method. Again, he waited a moment or two before casting the final curse he had in his mind, the cruciatus curse. This time, he didn't go easy. Instead, Robert cast it with full force, as much force and power as he could put into it, something he hadn't done in ages. It sort of felt nice to him to do it again. Waiting to hear screams or something, Robert smiled satisfactorily, leaning back in his chair, sitting comfortably as if he was at home.

Kelsey was way over her head at this moment. She didn't know how to get her father safely out of the ministry without revealing her identity. The man was so hard headed that he wouldn't listen to her anyways if she told him to leave. If she revealed herself to him, Bellatrix would surely kill him and her but if she didn't show herself to him, he would go looking for Bellatrix and would get himself killed. There was just no winning in the situation. She was at a loss of what to do and she was running out of time and fast.
She knew that her actions were weak. It was not like she was trying to hurt her father though. She knew, that with her new found training, she had the ability to hurt her father in ways he never thought were possible. The words that her father said to her did not hurt her at all. She knew he was talking out of anger and to someone he thought was an enemy. She remained quiet as he spoke and did not answer his question as to if that was suppose to kill him. There was a reason for that. Kelsey could feel it in her voice that the spell had worn off. If she spoke, it would give away her disguise. Now, all she wanted to do was run. Run far, far away. She couldn't do that though. Robert would come after her.
Suddenly, she felt ropes wrap around her and her but touch the oak wood seat of the chair. She winced in pain as the ropes tightened themselves around her body. She kept her eyes on her father and watched as his eyes landed upon her wand. Her wand. Kelsey hadn't even thought about that. Her father would surely recognize the wand in her hand. She watched as he took it and knew that this was it. He was either going to know it was Kelsey behind the mask or he was going to kill her.
Kelsey had never seen her father this angry. The grief of her death must have gotten to him and caused him to become like this. What happened next was a series of unfortunate events for Kelsey. She watched as her father casted a spell at her and had to sit there and endure the worse pain of her life. She screamed at the top of her lungs as she felt like her insides were being torn apart. Her screams were mind shattering and full of pain. All she wanted was for this pain to end. Tears began to stream from her eyes and she screamed again and again. Then, she felt another spell wash over her. It wasn't as bad as the first one but still hurt nonetheless. At that moment she really wished that she was dead. Hopefully this would be it and her father would leave her alone to go and find Bellatrix. That or he would kill her.
When the spell stopped, she thought that that was it. However, she was severely wrong. The cruciatus curse was sent towards her, causing her to scream out in pain yet again. Her whole body ached and she began to cry more. Her body shook violently in the chair. She thought that this pain would kill her. She wanted it to kill her. She didn't want to feel this way anymore. Her body continued to shake and she continued to scream. Then, she felt the curse being lifted.
Everything went silent. Her screams no longer filled the room. Her body still shook as the pain possessed her whole body. She didn't have the strength to open her eyes. She felt herself slipping in and out of consciousness. Her head bobbed to the side, limp and as if it were lifeless. Then, slowly gravity began to work against her. Her Death Eater mask fell from her face and to the ground. Her hood was now half off of her head, revealing her bright red hair that covered the side of her face slightly. Everything was over now. If Robert was still there and looking at his victim, he would notice that the person he just tortured was the person he thought he a buried just weeks before.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins Robert smirked, listening to the screams of the death eater. He contemplated other forms of torture to use. Curses and spells were fun an all but, sometimes it was more fun to be a little more...creative. He looked around the room. There were pieces of glass, fragments of other sharp things lying around. Those could be useful. He looked down at Kelsey's wand and frowned. This made no sense. Robert tried remembering what happened to it after she died but, he couldn't. It was such a small detail that never crossed his mind to think about it. He looked up as things fell quiet and glared at the death eater again, shoving Kelsey's wand into his pocket. "Pathetic," he muttered and stood up.
He turned his back, to her and slowly walked toward the doorway. Bellatrix was somewhere in the Ministry. Robert was just going to search every floor until he found her. He wouldn't stop. He wasn't going to stop. He couldn't think about anything else. The weeks of pain, misery, regret, it all stacked up to the point where Robert couldn't tolerate it anymore and turned into this person he never had wanted to be again. Robert stopped in front of the doorway. The sound of the mask hitting the floor echoed. Robert stood there, debating whether he wanted to see the face. The good part of him didn't, he just wanted to forget what he just did. The other part of him didn't really give a rats ass if he looked or not.
Whatever made him turn his head and look, he wouldn't ever really know. When he did turn and look, and his dark eyes rested on the all too familiar head of red hair. Robert frowned. No, it wasn't possible. He glared at her, striding over and stepping behind her. He pushed down the hood the rest of the way, and leaned in to talk in her ear - not looking at her face. "You really are a pathetic excuse for a death eater. I could do worse you know, much worse. But, I'm being nice because you are so pathetic. Next time, I won't be so nice," he said, in a low voice. Robert took in a deep breath, drawing himself up. He moved to walk past the chair and continue on his quest but, he caught a reflection in a piece of what must have been a mirror. He stopped, he froze, staring at it out of the corner of his eye.
No, that had to be a trick of his eye....a..a trick of the light. Robert pointed his wand at the ropes, making them disappear. He turn slightly to the side and when he did, he saw it was her. It took him by surprise, and he backed up against the wall. This was impossible. Impossible. "Wh-who ....wha-what.." Robert shook his head in disbelief. Kelsey couldn't possibly be alive. He was there, she was dead. He was there when they covered her coffin in dirt - she was still dead. Dead, dead, dead. Dead people don't just spring back to life. He had been to her grave nearly every single day. The ground was untouched - this was impossible.

Every part of Kelsey ached in pain. Even her hair hurt. This pain was one that she couldn't describe. It was unlike anything she had ever felt before in her life. Childbirth pain was way better than this and that was saying a lot. She had went through a hell of a lot of pain when she gave birth to her twins and she would rather that pain than what she was feeling right at that moment. At least it was over for now.
Kelsey continued to slip in and out of consciousness. She doubted if she would ever be able to stand up again after what happened. As she sat there, she wondered if her father saw her face. She was guessing that he didn't because if he had she would have been questioned liked never before. Maybe he would leave without noticing her. That would be the ideal scenario for Kelsey. That way she would remain dead in his eyes and everyone would be safe. It was better this way. She had already accepted her new life and everyone had already accepted her death. There was no need to complicate things further.
Kelsey's eyes remained close since she did not have the strength to keep them open. Everything was quiet and she thought that Robert had left. However, she suddenly heard him hiss in her ear and she froze in place. He was insulting her which meant that he had yet to see her face. Thank Merlin for her thick head of hair that was covering her face. She suddenly felt the ropes leave her body go and she slumped over in her seat. She sighed in relief as the pressure around her body was lightened. Her body was still in pain but at least it was eased up a bit.
Then she heard her father stutter. At that moment she knew her father seen her face. Now this was going to be fun to explain. Robert was going to want to kill Bellatrix more than ever now. Kelsey did not say a word but merely used all the energy she could muster to life her head up. Her eyes locked with her father's and her face was now clearly visible. Now that her mask was off she could clearly see her father's face. It had been so long since she had gotten a good look at him. It was clear that he had let himself go.
Kelsey panted, knowing that she was unable to move her body. The pain was just too much to handle. She knew that she should say something but she didn't know what. A simple hello would not do this moment justice. "Dad..," Kelsey said weakly. It hurt even to speak. She continued to pant, her eyes never leaving her father's face. She couldn't imagine what was going through his head right now. Hell, Kelsey didn't even know what to think. She wished that she could take back this moment. She wished that she would have never even came into this office.
"I," Kelsey began. She paused for a moment to catch her breath. "I think that you should just leave and forget what you saw here," She finished. It pained her so much to say that. She would want nothing more than to go home with her father at that moment but it was not possible. Bellatrix would never allow that and she had made it so far that she didn't want to risk what she had with the evil witch. She wouldn't rest until Bellatrix was destroyed. It would be the best thing for Robert to just leave. If only she had her wand. She would obliviate his memory and make him forget they ever saw each other.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins This was a hoax. It had to be. Robert watched her die. He was there the entire time. He saw it with his own eyes. Now it was it was his turn to lose his breath. Robert stared at her, unable to believe it or accept it immediately. For a few minutes, he was too busy convincing himself she was dead to recognize she wasn't. It wasn't until she spoke a whole sentence that it really dawned on him. It really was Kelsey. She as alive. Living, breathin, speaking...in pain. It was her the whole time. It was her and he...Robert shook his head slightly.
Robert's wand hand shook causing him to drop it. He had to just sit. He just slide to the floor from the wall, he probably would not have made it those few steps over to the wall. This whole time, one of the few people that made life for him worth living...he thought was gone. The entire time she wasn't. This whole time, it as her under that mask, under that robe. Robert had tortured her, he inflicted physical pain on her and she was asking that he just forget about it? It was just one more thing he was going to feel guilty about. No, he wouldn't just leave her. She was alive! He wasn't going home without her. Robert wasn't going to lose her again. He couldn't, he wouldn't make it if he did.
After a few emotional moments of silence, Robert slide across the floor to Kelsey, taking his wand with him. Tears had welled up in the bottom of his eyes. Robert took her hand and waved his wand over her, muttering "Deletrius." It was a spell that was suppose to erase the after affects of spells, it was usually applied to wands but, he hoped it would work on a person as well. Robert had heard somewhere once that it did help. He turned her hand palm side up, and placed it on his cheek, holding his hand over her's and closed his eyes for a minute. Kelsey's hand didn't have that cold clammy feeling he felt after a few hours of her being dead. Instead it was warm and he swore he could feel her pulse. For him, at this moment, it was the best feeling in the entire world.
Robert sniffed, and turn her hand to his lips to kiss it. When he could really no longer keep himself compose, Robert burst out in sobs. Whether she was still in pain or not, Robert pulled her by the arm down to the floor with him and wrapped into a tight hug. He didn't care if someone found him that weak. It didn't matter. Kelsey was here, she was alive. He knew it wasn't a hoax, some plot to trick him. It was really her, he could feel it in his heart. Something hadn't felt right about her death and now he knew what that was, she hadn't been dead in the first place.

This was bad. This was really, really bad. She knew in her heart that now that her father knew she was alive that he would not let her go back to being in hiding. However, she knew that she had to. Bellatrix was in power now and if Kelsey left her side then her family would be dead. Besides, she was so close to finding out everything about Bellatrix. She couldn't get on the witch's bad side now. She just had to make her father see that this was the way things need to be.
Her eyes gazed at her father and took in the look that was on his face. She imagined that this must be a shock for him. After all, who wouldn't be at a loss for words if they found out that the daughter that they thought was dead was actually alive. She was surprised that he didn't pass out or have a heart attack yet. Not that she wanted that to happen or anything. She waited to see what he would do. Would he yell at her for this? Would he storm out of the room? Kelsey expected him to be angry. Hell, she would be angry if she went through what he did for nothing.
Then, she watched as he made his way over to her. She watched him mutter a spell and instantly she felt the pain in her body go away. She sighed in delight. The pain was one thing she never wanted to feel again. She would pick being crucioed by Bellatrix than cursed with the curses her father used any day. Her eyes stayed on her father as he took her hand and put it to his cheek. She was then taken into his arms and embraced in a hug.
Then, she heard her father cry. Her father rarely cried. She felt her heart break instantly and hugged him back. She felt a few tears fall from her eyes but it was nothing compared to the crying that her father was currently doing. She made soft cooing noises, just like a mother would make for a crying child. It was then she really understood just what her father had been going through during her time being 'dead'. "Oh dad, it's okay. I am here now," she said softly, rubbing his back as she tried to control her own tears. She knew they didn't have a lot of time left together. She would have to leave at any moment now. Even if her father was not prepared to let her do so.
Though she didn't want to, Kelsey broke the hug that they shared and looked at her father. She sighed slightly, wiping her eyes. "Dad," She began but paused. She didn't know how to say what she needed to say. She knew he was going to protest and make this harder than it needed to be. "You know I can't go back home with you. Bellatrix wanted me to be dead to everyone for a reason. If I just leave her she will kill everyone while she tries to find me," she said with a small frown on her face. Kelsey grabbed her Death Eater mask off the floor and put it in her lap. She glanced down at her mask then back at her father, the frown staying on her face. "I belong to Bellatrix now. It's where I must stay now and you need to not tell anyone about this," Kelsey said softly. She not awaited for her father to protest, because she knew that he would not let her go.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins There wasn't a force strong enough in the world that could part their hug. Robert never thought he would see her again, that he would never get to hug her again and actually tell he loved her. After she died, he felt he never told her. He knew that she knew but, it wasn't the same. It was a thought that didn't dawn on him until it was too late and she was gone. Robert sure hoped this wasn't a dream. it would be a cruel thing for the world to do to him. He turned slightly to kiss her head, feeling entirely overwhelmed. It nearly felt worse
Robert sighed, shaking his head slightly. He knew what she said at first to be true. The whole death from "natural causes" thing hadn't sat well with him. It wasn't natural and now he knew for a fact it wasn't. Of course, Bellatrix was behind it. Robert already knew. Bellatrix wanted the world to think Kelsey was dead so she could have her. He looked down at his wand, glaring at it and gritting his teeth. Robert slowly looked up at Kelsey, giving her a 'what did you just say' expression. The word that stuck out the most was 'belong'. He shook his head, pushing himself off the ground. "You don't belong to her," he said, then anger he had felt earlier was present once more. "You belong with me - us, your family. The people that gave you life - the twins - they are who you belong to."
He walked over to the doorway and looked out into the cooridor, checking each way. There was no sign that anyone was around. Robert was almost expecting Bellatrix to come flying in. In fact, he hoped for it. Robert turned back to Kelsey. "Anton came back, with Dominique. I really thought that when after writing a hundred letters that they weren't coming back, that he really hated me but, he came back for you," he sighed, glancing at the doorway again. "Of course, it wouldn't be a family reunion without me, Vince, and Anton fighting with each other - I think Vince and Anton actually got psychical...I can't really remember, that night is a bit fuzzy," he said, wiping his nose.
Robert turned and looked at Kelsey, the faintest smile appearing. If you didn't know him, you would miss it. "I know you weren't fond of the idea but, your mum had the baby. You should see her...I'm in trouble with that one, Talia is going to learn that look and then I won't be able to say no," he shook his head slightly. Laying on some guilty? Guilty as charged. Really, he just wanted her to know those things. It would be easier if he just said they were all fine but, that would be a lie. They weren't fine without her. No, Kelsey was going home - whether that was with him or without him. "I'm going to go kill her, and then we are going home," he said with a nod, as if he just caught her doing some normal teenage thing and was going to take her home and ground her afterward.

If she could, to save everyone she loved, she would apparate away right at this moment and prevent her father from making her go home. Sadly, since Kelsey was confined inside of Ministry walls, and apparating in the building was banned, there was no other way to escape except for running. If she started running, her father would surely come after her and drag her little butt back home. Bellatrix was going to be livid when she finds out about this. Kelsey didn't plan on telling her but she would find out. Bellatrix always found out everything. She was just like Robert in that sense.
"No I don't dad. I belong to Bellatrix. I've belonged to her ever since I became her horcrux. She has simply just claimed her ownership over me now," Kelsey sighed, not looking at her father. This was true in a sense. The moment she became a horcrux she became Bellatrix's property. A piece of her belongings that were key to her survival. Her father couldn't argue with that. She was Bella's personal item and it sucked. She hated belonging to someone like that, forever linked together because of a mistake on her father's part.
Her father then went on to talk about the family. Kelsey, being as clever as she is, could tell that it was one of his attempts to guilt her into coming home. She wanted to go home more than anything else. She knew it wasn't possible though. Her dad had to see that. Would he rather Kelsey go home and risk the whole family being killed or Kelsey staying with Bellatrix and everyone being safe? It was not worth it to risk so many lives just so she could be happy.
"I'm really happy that Anton and Dominique came back. They family really needs to be together now," Kelsey sighed, knowing that she was excluding herself from that family reference. "I'm not surprised that you guys got into a fight though. I was expecting that to happen when you three were in the same room. Did this happen at my 'funeral' or were you three civil enough to wait until after?" Kelsey chuckled, imagining Robert, Vince and Anton all fighting near her coffin. It wouldn't shock her if they did fight at the funeral. It would be the LeBlanc thing to do after all.
Then, Kelsey heard her dad mention her mom and the baby. She felt her heart sink since this made her think of her own children. "I'm glad the baby is healthy. I hope she is bringing joy to mom. She needs it right now. You do too," Kelsey said softly, trying to picture what her little baby sister would look like. She then tried to think of her own children and couldn't help but feel sad since she missed them so much. "Hows.. Hows the twins? And James? Are they alright? Are they all being well taken care of? Who has the babies when James isn't around? Is he seeing someone else?" Kelsey asked, question after question coming out of her mouth. It was all the thoughts she had been thinking at that moment. She just wanted to know if her family was okay and that James wasn't off with some bimbo. She knew he wouldn't do that but the grief could have caused him to fall into someone else's arms. If that were true, she would personally hunt the slut down and kill her herself.
"I really can't go home with you dad. I actually need to leave soon. Bellatrix will be wondering where I am and I don't want to risk her finding us talking. You can't tell anyone that I am alive. This has to remain a secret. And please, don't do anything stupid. Now where is my wand?" Kelsey sighed, standing up and straightening out her Death Eater robe. She embraced herself for her father to begin to yell at her or rant about her not coming home. She gazed around the room, or what was left of the room, searching for her wand amongst the debris. It had to be here somewhere.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins Robert shook his head again, although he knew what she said held some truth to it. He clenched his fists turning the face the open doorway. She was making it sound like she didn't want to go home. Had she really changed that much? No, had the horocrux taken control, she probably would have done worse than expelliarmus and a missed curse. "You belong to her," he repeated. As he stood there, he mentally dared, just dared Bellatrix to come strolling by. At this point, Robert didn't care what happened to him if he could throw just one curse at her, just one. He knew she couldn't die completely but, at least he would feel better, it would mean something to him.
"After," he said quietly, still staring out into the corridor. "After that day, I went out and you know, when I stumbled back I found them arguing," Robert replied. "You know use, the three of us together in a room together - alone...." he shook his head. Robert really wanted to repair the relationships with his sons, especially Anton. It just wasn't easy, they were all so stubborn that nearly every conversation turned into some kind of argument. Sometimes Robert felt they provoked him to argue on purpose so they wouldn't have to talk to him.
Robert turned back around to face Kelsey when she asked about James and the twins. He nodded slowly. "They are fine, growing bigger everyday. James isn't doing much better than I am I don't think. I dont' know, it's not like we talk exactly. Don't worry, between us and Harry and Ginny, we take of them," he answered. Since Kelsey died, Robert hadn't spoken two to James. They never spoke much as it was anyway but, he could only guess how the boy was doing. His guess was just that he wasn't doing well, just like he wasn't. Robert was trying but, it hadn't been easy.
She wanted him to just forget and not tell anyone? How could be possibly go home and lie to everyone, pretended that she is still dead? Robert couldn't do that. He couldn't stay at home and see the look of grief on Mandy's face everyday when he knew he could fix it. "No," he said simply turning back to look out into the corridor. "You are going to go home, with or without me with you." Robert paused for a second, listening to hear if anyone was coming but, a too silence silence fell. "I got here no problem, we could probably out of here without much of a problem. There might be a fireplace that hasn't been destroyed in the atrium," he said, ignore all else that she had just said.

Kelsey could feel the anger towards Bellatrix radiating off of her father. She knew that she had to get him out of the building and fast. There is no telling what the short tempered Robert would do to Bella if he saw her. She knew that he would end up getting himself killed and Kelsey could not handle that. She would die if her father died because of her. The only problem that was going to arise was actually convincing her father to leave the building.
Kelsey knew that having three LeBlanc men in the same room would lead to some sort of fight. She was just surprised that they did not fight at the funeral. That would have been a sight to see though. It would have been the highlight of the LeBlanc family history. Hopefully, after everything calmed down, the three of them could mend their relationship and learn to get along. In the time that she was suppose to be dead, Kelsey learned that family is the most important thing. It is something that a person doesn't know what it really means to them until it is gone. Those boys would live to regret not getting along after one of them is gone.
Kelsey felt her heart grow in pain as her father answered her questions about her children and James. There wasn't a day that went by that she did not think about them. If she was granted one wish it would be to be able to be with her children again. All she wanted to do was hold them and be with them. This was the cruelest form of torture for a mother. No one should be forced to be away from their children like this.
"I am glad they are alright. Make sure that Mandee-Lynn has her little afternoon nap or she will be very cranky and Henry likes it when you read him the little hippogriff story before he goes to sleep," Kelsey paused, her eyes filling with tears. Speaking about her children was just making her want to be with them. "Give them a hug and a kiss for me. Remind them that I love them. I miss them so much," She said softly, wiping her eyes as some tears fell. She knew that she couldn't cry. She had to be strong and keep her head clear for the task at hand and that task was finding a way to destroy Bellatrix.
Kelsey kept her eyes on her father as he began to protest. It was like everything she said to him went in one ear and out of the other. Did he not see what would happen if he took her home? Did he not realize that Bellatrix would kill everyone she loved? "Dad I can't go home! Bellatrix will wipe out our entire family if I go home with you. There is just too much risk. It is best if I just stay dead to everyone and you all go on living your lives," Kelsey said, walking towards the door. She gazed around, looking for her wand but had no luck in finding it. She could always just get another wand if she had to. She knew that she had to leave soon.
"Do not go and get yourself killed. Mom, your children and my children need you to be alive and safe. There is a fireplace on this level. You just go down this hallway and into the second last door on the right. There will be a Death Eater guarding it. Do not do anything stupid," Kelsey said, pulling on her hood. She gazed out of the room and into the hallway, checking to see if the coast was clear. "I need to go now. Bellatrix will be expecting me at any moment in her office. Please, be safe. I wouldn't be able to live if something happened to you," Kelsey said. She moved closer to her father and placed a small kiss on his cheek and gave him a quick hug before stepping into the hallway and pulling on her mask. She began to walk in the opposite direction of where the fireplace was located, hoping that her father would just let her go.
