Kiera Hayze literally lived for the summer time. Growing up mostly in London, she had expririenced her fair share of snowy winters, but nothing would ever compare to summer. School had been out for nearly two months and Kiera couldn't have been more delighted. She hadn't seen any of her friends in weeks, but everything was fine because Kiera knew that soon enough all of that lost time would be made up for and forgotten. It was Kiera's time, time to be alone. But truth be told, not even Kiera herself could deny that she missed Hogwarts, all of her friends, and everything that came with it. So she went to the Spring has Sprung carnival. She had come with a hew family friends, but they had either left or run off with some guy. By sundown Kiera stood completely alone. Wasn't that exactly what she wanted? Maybe. Whether she wanted it or not, Kiera found herself in the already thinning crowds of fans watching the now-ancient Twisted Sisters play. She wondered who was there, and remembered that her friend Flower Hope said she might come. Kiera wished she would. After dark most nervous parents who had obliged to bring their kids to the carnival fled the place due to the recently fallen ministry. Even though Kiera wasn't exactly uptight, she herself wasn't too keen to be out alone, but her ride had disappeared with a boy about twenty minutes ago. The Twisted Sisters finished their set and another band came on, but Kiera was far from lost in the music. Scowling to herself, she silently wondered, why hadn't she just gotten her appearating license like everybody else? Now, Kiera normally wasn't generally the spacey kind, at least not in public. She was happy-go-lucky and sweet, the kind of outgoing that was almost irritating. A perfect Hufflepuff. Like Hope. The two had known each other for ages, how or when Kiera didn't know. To Kiera, Hope had always been the little sister she had but never got along with. Kiera smiled at the memories that came with thoughts of Hope. Then she came out of her stupor and rejoined the rest of the normal world. The band was good and loud. Kiera was content with life once more. Notes: Blahh. Sorry Kels. Words: Enough. Life was beautiful. It was full of adventure and mysteries waiting to be uncovered. Even the smallest little things in life were amazing. Well, at least that was how Flower saw things. Flower, what a silly name. Of course she never went by that name. She was known to most of the world by her middle name, Hope. Hope was very different from the rest of the children that were her age. At a mere sixteen years old she was one of the most strangest but yet lovable people anyone would ever meet. There was always a smile on her face and nothing in the world ever seemed to get her down. That was one of the things most people loved about Hope. She could lighten up any room with her dazzling personality and award winning smile. She was genuine and sweet. A soul that had yet to be corrupted by the damaged society around her.
Hope's parents were what you could call different. They were free spirited wizarding artists who would create moving pictures or write odd books about their findings in the wilderness. They were always on the hunt for new and rare types of flowers located in the forests. Hence where they received the name for Hope. She didn't mind her first name, Flower, but ever since she was little the rest of the world had been calling her by her middle name. Never the one to complicate life, she decided to go by the name of Hope in public and Flower at home.
Since her parents did not have a real profession money was often tight in their household. There was four people to feed on their small salary: Hope, her parents and her younger sister. Needless to say, they did not have the money to go off and have a shopping spree or buy extravagant items. This contributed to the reason as to why Hope made her own clothing. It was cheaper than buying the over priced items in the store. Besides, she liked the clothing she made better than the stuff she seen in the stores.
Hope had always loved music. She couldn't really sing or write music but she loved to listen to it. There was something about the soft melodies that took her breath away and carried her soul into a whole other world. When she heard word that there was a concert hall at the carnival Hope knew that she had to go. Now, she had to design a few dresses for other people in order to earn some money for the entrance fee to the carnival. She knew that her parents wouldn't have the money to lend to her. After much work she had earned the money and currently found herself amongst the huge crowd. She was on the lookout though. Her very best friend, Kiera was suppose to be here also. Hope wanted to find her so that they could see each other again.
After much searching through the crowd Hope had finally spotted her friend. With a huge smile on her face, like always, she ran over to Kiera and embraced her in a huge hug. Kiera! I've missed you so much! I have been looking for you for ages," Hope said as she broke the hug. She continued to keep the same heart warming smile on her face as she looked at her best friend. "Isn't the music here amazing? I am absolutely in love with this band," Hope grinned, her hair and eyes sparkling in the sun.

" Kiera! I've missed you so much! I've been looking for you for ages!" A familiar face emerged from the crowds in the form of a sixth year Hufflepuff. Kiera felt herself being pulled into an embrace. Once she realized who it was, she wholeheartedly returned the hug. Hope. An infectious grin spread over Kiera's face. "Isn't the music here amazing? I am absolutely in love with this band" Hope spoke of the new band playing and for the first time, Kiera listened. They were good. Her grin got wider. " They are rather good. So what brings you here on this fine evening?" Kiera chuckled and nudged Hope, " Causing havoc? Prowling the grounds?" Summer had done Hope good. Surely she had grown a few inches. Looking over at her friend, Kiera could no longer see over the top of the red head's hair. The blonde pulled her hair, wavy from her swim in the ocean that morning, from her eyes and tucked it behind her ear. Kiera's parents had divorced and remarried. It was a more recent event. Since Kiera was more of a European than an American, and so with her seventeenth birthday she had decided to stay in London for the summer. Money was tight because she didn't have a job, and this late in the summer she probably wouldn't get one. But relatives sent money for her birthday, so she had been doing her best to make it last. The carnival had been her one vice. It was somewhere she needed to go. To be around people again. Having Hope around brought comfort as well as happiness. Someone that knew her so well took away the awkwardness off meeting new people. Kiera bounced on her heels, more to feel tall again than anything else. " God, Hope. Were you this tall the last time i saw you? I swear you've grown..." Kiera laughed and made herself be still. Height was something Kiera and Hope always had joked about, because Kiera hadn't grown since her fourth year. Then she thought she was a giant, but now, three years later, she felt rather short. Silently, Kiera told herself over and over that she wasn't short. Notes: I was multitasking?! Words: Enough. Outfit: CLICK!Muse: Somewhere only we know<3

Hope was a people person. She absolutely adored being with people and getting to know all the different types of personalities out there. She loved how everybody was different and had their own uniqueness to themselves. She knew that the world would be boring if everyone was the same. Sure there would be no wars and no fighting but there would also be no adventure and no passion in the world. Things would become boring and nobody would have any real reason to live. She loved diversity and difference of opinions.
The only thing she didn’t really like was fighting. Hope hated fighting with a passion, especially when it was very drastic. All she wanted was for everyone in the world to get along and celebrate differences, not fight over them. Wars were just a loss of lives to the world and did not help the world at all. It tore families apart and caused devastation to everyone involved. She knew that there was no need for this at all but sadly she knew that as long as there were people in the world there would be wars. She was only one sixteen year old girl and could not change the world.
“Me? Cause havoc? Now you know such a thing would never happen”, Hope chuckled softly. She was the last person in the world to be causing trouble or making some kind of hard time on another person. She was by far too nice. “I just came here to see the bands and who I could run into. I really do love the music. What about you? On the prowl for some boys?” Hope laughed which made her whole face light up. Hope often wondered if she would ever find a boy who could love her crazy and unique self. They just didn’t seem to be interested in being romantic with someone as free spirited as Hope. She didn’t mind it though. Sure it got lonely at times but she would much rather have all her friends than just one boy in her life. If her destiny was to be alone for the rest of her life she didn’t really mind it. She would just make the best of the situation like she always did.
Hope couldn’t help but laugh. The sixteen year old was rather short for her age, only reaching a little bit over 5 foot 2 inches. “Did I grow? I haven’t really noticed that much. I’m just so used to being short that if I grow any it is not really noticeable. I doubt I will ever grow any taller than this though”, Hope smiled. She didn’t mind being short either. She felt it gave a certain cuteness to herself and added to her overall look. She was the cute, short red headed girl and she really didn’t mind this. “How has your summer been? Any adventures I should know about?” Hope asked, truly interested in what was going on in her friend’s life. She always loved to hear about the adventures that happened in other people’s lives and sort of felt some excitement for them if they had anything amazing happen to them.

❝ you just might need dynamite ❞got dynamite? got dynamite? i can't paint this picture just so you can hang it i can't wait for you to understand if you just don't get it find out how to crack me“Me? Cause havoc? Now you know such a thing would never happen”, Hope spoke with that soft voice of hers, with a small chuckle. It was infectious, and always made Kiera want to laugh along. “I just came here to see the bands and who I could run into. I really do love the music. What about you? On the prowl for some boys?” Now That truly made Kiera laugh. Boys were something Kiera liked from afar, but couldn't deal with up close. Her normally bubbly, loud personality took a hiatus, leaving her with absolutely nothing interesting at all to say. The stupid creatures enchanted her, but they were nothing she could handle. " I figured i should go be around people before i become more socially awkward than i already am." Kiera said with a wide grin, knowing that becoming more socially awkward than she already was, was a silly thought. While Kiera was happy, she had a certain spaciness to her, causing strangers to be uncomfortable around her. However, to her friends, it was part of her loving, loyal personality, and often times her charm. " Boys?.. Hmm. Prowling was definitely not part of the agenda, but i suppose you never know with me!" The joking tone was painfully obvious, but never left the Hufflpuffs voice. Kiera didn't like when people took her sarcastic and sometimes blunt sense of humor too seriously. Hope commented back on how she probably hadn't grown, but Kiera chose to drop that topic and instead, listen to what Hope next said, “How has your summer been? Any adventures I should know about To be perfectly honest, Kiera's summer really hadn't been eventful. Swimming was all she had done, and was all she had been interested in doing. But the seasons were changing, Kiera could feel it in her bones, like any natural born swimmer could. Summer was slowly dissolving into fall, and soon she would be leaving her independence and favorite hobby behind for another six months until it warmed up again. While she couldn't wait for her seventh year at Hogwarts, she knew that getting on the train on September first would be one of the most bittersweet days of Kiera's year, like it had been every year before that. " It's been good, simple and enjoyable. Mostly i swam and wandered. You know how awful my directional system is." Kiera paused and laughed at the memories when she got herself hopelessly lost, " I can't wait for it to be over though, go back where i belong. What about you? Anything good happen or magical quests i should know of? Or are you more excited to be going back to Hogwarts?" Kiera asked out of true curiosity, wondering what Hope had spent her summer doing.
