RAIN MAKES CORN CORN MAKES WHISKEY Derek walked down the cold corridors of the school with a smile on his lips. The school was in chaos. The son of Bonnie Cameron took in what he loved most. Chaos. The school was in chaos and he loved it. Professor Robert LeBlanc was so scared that he locked Hogwarts down. Oh if he could have been there to see the man’s face when he realized his students were in danger. A sly smile haunted the lips of the seventh year slytherin boy. He was really enjoying himself. He had recently had fun with Lisa Green and that Liam boy. He could not remember the boys last name. He taught them a valuable lesson. Lisa to play nice and Liam to never inturrept Derek ever.
Continuing his walk he noticed that he was heading towards the dungeons. He had been completely lost in thought. He sighed and pulled out his pack of Newports. Yes he was additicted to these things. They were very good though. Grinning he pulled one out and lit it with his lighter. He took a long drag from it and smiled. This was better. He would smoke outside but they were not allowed outside. So his alternative was smoking inside. He had to have his cigeratte and his beer. In fact there was some waiting in his dorm where he had hidden them.
A stupid RavenClaw bumped into him. The guy obviously had his head in the clouds. He was about to attack the kid when he saw Rose Weasley walking down the staircase. He smiled and the boy got away. Perfect. The daughter of Ron Weasley near his grasp. This would be a perfect opportunity to get near Harry Potter. Be nice for a while to his niece get close to him then treat Rose however he wanted. Like she would leave him anyway. He would make sure she couldn’t get away.
Grinning he walked up to her blocking her path down the stairs. Good evening Miss. Weasley. Lovely day for walking around the corridors correct he said in a very charming manner. Taking her hand he lifted it to his lips and kissed the top of it like a gentalmen in the old muggle movies. Yes Derek was a smooth talker. He could sweat talk any girl into dating him. ”This is you talking”This is you thinkingThis is someone else talkingWHISKEY MAKES MY BABY FEEL A LITTLE FRISKEY OUTFIT: OMG! ITS CICKABLE! Her head absolutely buzzing with thoughts Rose wished she could go outside, walking around the lake a few times and sort through the countless questions that were pounding at her head. Unfortunately, with the lockdown in effect she wouldn’t make it past the front steps, let alone far enough in the grounds to have some time for herself. There wasn’t anywhere in the castle that she would be able to find some quiet, with all the students pushed into the boundaries of the castle walls and going crazy with restlessness. The common room was a terror, with everyone searching for something to keep them busy and to use up all that pent up energy. Normally, Rosie would have sought out refuge in the room of requirement, but currently Axel was spending his time there, since he was stuck inside with nowhere else to go. As much as Rosie loved her friend she knew that trying to sort things out with him around would only make things more complicated. As a last resource Rose had decided to try the dungeon, an area she usually avoided since more often than not someone would be there, wanting to pick a fight with her for no other reason than her name.
To her surprise it had been the perfect place, quiet and deserted, without a soul in sight. She had wandered along the twisted corridors aimlessly for more than an hour, completely lost in thought. And there was so much to think about, primarily about Hugo. Rose was concerned about her brother, and she felt helpless in trying to comfort him. She wished fervently that her brother would come to his sense and tell their father, but he was dead set against it, and Rose didn’t want to break his trust by running and tattling on him. Thankfully, along with Axel, she had managed to convince him to take the Wolfsbane, but even that had been a struggle, and Rose had a feeling that each battle was only going to keep getting harder and harder as time passed. Each time she tried to get close to her brother he would only force her away, and Rose was scared that if she continued to try and talk to him she would only push him even farther away. Honestly, she was scared. When she had found Hugo, sitting among the scattered shards of everything he had broken in his anger her first thought had been Axel’s warning to her. He’s dangerous. Rose understood that, but doing as Axel wanted, and staying away from Hugo, wasn’t going to happen. She needed to help him, somehow.
Sighing, Rose pulled herself from her thoughts, looking up and around at her surroundings. With a groan she realized she had gotten herself hopelessly lost in her wanderings, and had no idea where she was, within the unfamiliar maze of corridors. Realizes that she had somehow made her way back up to one of the upper floors through the moving staircases Rosie hoped that if she followed along this way she’d either find a way back up to familiar, or encounter someone to help her Rosie continued down the corridor, beaming as the rounded the corner to see another person. Derek Cameron wasn’t someone she was personally familiar with, but since they were in the same year she knew enough of him to hope that he would help her. He had noticed her as well, and Rosie had to giggle at his cheesy actions. This was just was she needed, after stressing for so long. Something to lift her mood was just what the doctor ordered. ”Hello Mister Cameron. I just needed some time alone. What brings you here here?” Rosie smiled at him, before continuing sheepishly, ”I think I got myself a little lost though.”
