The white shirt stuck out to the clear night sky. Like as if the spot light was resting on the woman. She sat still as stone on the ledge of the tower window starring at the sky, the light of the stars reflected in her eyes. The black soft curls fell down to the middle of her back by a water fall. In the light she looked like she was seventeen again. Confused, and alone. Though she knew she wasn't alone. In her head, or at all. She could feel his eyes on her, but she didn't move. She couldn't move, she didn't know how she felt about this. Slowly she looked down at her feet dangling over the rest of the castle way below her. It made her feel small, but that wasn't the hardest thing for her to feel, it actually made her feel a little bit more comfortable.
Cassandra knew he'd come, if he was who he says he was. She couldn't have let Robert know that she believed the man in front of her. If she wasn't allowed outside of the castle, she sought the only place she could stare at the sky. The North Tower. As she had walked from her library she had yelled at a couple students that they should be in bed. She especially yelled at those who were alone that they should always travel in packs. The more time she had spent there the softer she had gotten toward the students there, some even came to her for advice. It made it hard for her to hear of all the children missing. She new a good chunk of them were dead, and who's hands had blood on them.
Jack. Once upon a time they were partners in murder and crime, blood was on her fingers almost consistently. Since the accident, she and the fake Jack had slowed down, killed only those that was necessary and set their sights on bigger things, she didn't want to loose him again. If she only knew that the real Jack was still set in that mind. He was probably expecting her to be the same exact way he had left her. Willing to do anything, and free flowing. Though she had grown up, done a lot of thinking about human life. but she knew how this would go, she was weak. This wasn't going to be good. If you went by what their father believed, feelings were a weakness. Love was a weakness.
Chaos. Yes she loved chaos, she loved starting fires, and spreading fear. Right before the school had went on lock down she had burned down an entire street the only injuries involved though was of the ones fighting the flames. It was her way to think about this whole thing, to begin her chapter. Murder was not going to be a part of it, and she didn't know how to break that to him. Hell she didn't remember how to go back to then. Without lies and deceit, she didn't know how to act around him anymore. It was like he had been frozen for nineteen years, as she had grown older. Other needs of hers came to her, so running and going with the wind was a low priority.

Jack had been busy in the week since he had returned. Though no one yet knew that it had been him behind all the murders. Some would surely suspect at least those that had been around when he had been in britain after his father died. They would recognize the style of it as his, buyt so many believed that he was dead now that this would confuse them. Perhaps they thought it was a copy cat not realizing the one that had died had been exactly that, but now the true Dark Prince had returned and he was going to do whatever it took to strike fear into the hearts of all the wizarding world.
Now he sat in the rafters of the north tower. He had been there for a few hours, and this was not his first night there. Every night since he had returned he had sat in the exact same spot waiting to see the woman he loved. If she were still even the littlest bit the same she had been when he had known her she would come to the tower to look at the stars. It was amusing to him to think that they could reunite under the same activity that they had been in when the fatefull avalanche claimed his life nineteen years earlier. He had been able to put a shield charm around his sister to protect her but had not been able to protect himself.
He grinned as the woman he had been waiting for walked beneath him. He thought it odd that she had not immediatly sensed him and looked up. He watched as she went to the window to gaze up at the nights sky. He didn't like how precariously close to the edge that she was though he knew she had the balance to do it. He could not take his eyes from her as he tried to reign in the urge to go scoop her in his arms and kiss her. He knew after their encounter on the night that he returned that he would have to prove to her who he was.
This was something that aggrivated him very much. Why should he have to prove himself when it was she who had been wrong. She had spent near two decades with the man who had impersonated him. She who knew him better than all had not noticed the difference and had believed that this fake was him. He tried to ignore this fact as he jumped lightly from the rafters making barely a sound with his oddly graceful landing. He stared at her back as a sly smile spread accross his face. "You know as upset as I am with you if you jump I'll have to follow, and seeing as I alreadt remade my horcrux I'c have to take another body come back up here and jump again."

Sitting as still as stone, she closed her eyes eyes as he dropped behind her, graceful as it may be it was like thunder to her ears. She fought back tears for a few seconds. It was hard for her to hear this voice talk to her in this familiar way. Contemplating death, was an option she hadn't even thought of yet. Though she had always had a plan for thought, and to prove it. She always had that poison on her bedside table since she left school. Just a precaution, a way out if she was in need, but it wasn't like she didn't have secrets up her sleeves.
"You know me better then that. If I was to end my life, I would do it in my sleep." she said softly out to the sky. Listening to him breathe, her eyes still closed. "I couldn't let Robert know, I knew you were telling the truth. I'm sorry, Jack." She said his name and a tear fell down her cheek. When she had planned this, it had gone a lot better then it was already going. So far all of the outcomes of what she was about to say wasn't going to be good, but then again she always over thought things.
"I'm not the same girl you left all those years ago." she said biting her lip for a moment, and before he could open his mouth. "I'm a librarian here. I care for some of those children that are stacked down in that dark room. They trust me Jack." She did not dare look back at him. All of the things she had done, it was all her fault she couldn't even blame that impersonator. She had known the whole time in the back of her head. Though it wasn't like she could take back all of the things she had done, or change back to who she was before. "I was weak, after I lost you. If some one had come up in a fake mask, and even resembled you. I would have followed him to the moon. Some where in the back of my mind I always knew he was different, he wasn't you. But I needed you, and you weren't there. Because for some reason you thought you would save me so you could die and leave me alone in this world. You were wrong, you should have just let me die. Then I couldn't betray you, and become like this." she said now looking at the hands folded in her lap, shivering with out being cold.[/blockquote] Outfit; ClickyNotes; Honesty.. as honest can get. Jack smirked at the fact that she had taken him seriously. It had just been a small joke to break the ice. He could see that he would have to be more carefull with what he said where as she was obviously upset. Sure it hurt that she hadn't realised whthat the imposter wasn't him but his own pain was nothing when it came to her. It hurt him so much worse to see her upset than to feel his own pain. He let out an audible sigh at her next words. "I can understand that." Her next words hit him hard because he could hear that she was crying, and he was at her side without seeming to move.
He put his hands around her waist as she spoke of the kids in the school. "I am not the same as I was either Cassie. I've had alot of time to think what with being stuck in a box all by myself for near two decades. I am sorry for anything that I have done that has hurt you. Sure I love to cause chaos, and I enjoy killing people, but none of that comes close to how I feel about you. For you I would give up magic completely and live in a little house with kids and a dog. As long as I have you I don't care what the future holds." He pulled her tight to his side as he joined her on the ledge gazing up at the sky.
He listened to her next words and they hit him hard. Every word seemed to be full of her pain and each hit him hard right in the gut. He cringed as he let her continue wishing that she had never had to hurt like she had. She seemed to think that this was all her fault. She seemed to be so worried that she was not what he wanted the person he loved. Her last words might as well have been a knife directly to his heart. Tears now fell from his eyes as he spun her around to face him. His eyes were locked on hers and the love he felt for her could not have been more evident on his face.
"Don't you ever say such things again. Yes I do wish you had noticed the difference , but I don't blame you for having not done so. You have not betrayed me it was not your fault they gave my body life and trapped me in my horcrux. I saved you from that avalanche because I could not bare to lose you, and I knew that I had the horcrux and could return to you. I did not know that it would take so long. I can not and will not regret saving you though normaly you don't need saving, but I think a natural disaster is something that could take out either of us. Cassie I love you and nothing else matters." He leaned forward and kissed her with a firey passion that had been missing for a long time.

When she let him turn her to face him she was surprised to see those tears on his face, they were real, and honest and true. It touched her deeply, but she waited for him to speak before she even moved, staying still perched on the sill her legs dangling against the stone, feeling his breath on her skin, made goose bumps appear and filling her senses. His hand on her side, made her skin tingle. This was why she had gotten to the door of her library so many times and turned around heading back to her office to beat herself up. Why she woke up every morning trying to convince her self she would be alright after. This wasn't going to break her, but that didn't ease her worry very much. Even if this Jack was the real Jack she still had a broken heart that hadn't had enough time to repair.
That day had been built up by being separated from him, by orders of Bellatrix. Like a puppet on a string she as she was told, and then finally when she was about to tug back at those strings she had found the bastard leaving in the arms of the mother of his child. Who was still their blood, but was no where to be found since. Then the impersonator was dead, it was a roller coaster ending with the real Jack returning to her, and having to pretend to not know what happened when it had hit her. Robert hadn't really spoken directly to her since then, which worried her a bit when she thought of the weird glances he would give down the table when he thought she wasn't looking. It was very scary specially because any possibility of loosing her books frightened her. She loved Jack but she needed those books, and Jack forgave her. The books could cause just as much damage.
"Cassie I love you and nothing else matters."
With that he started to kiss her, such passion she had been reminded of earlier. Though she hadn't seen it for a long time, she was sucked in so fast she felt so dizzy. As she tangled her fingers in his hair and the other on his neck, his warm skin under her fingers. Even though his face was different, he was very familiar. She wrapped one of her legs around his, pulling him closer to her. Letting him get closer to her, trusting him, as if his impostor never existed. She could barely breath, she didn't want it to end. As her fingers ran down the back of his shirt until she met bare skin, then there was no turning back for her. A staff member could walk by and a that point she wouldn't care, it was like it was just them in the whole castle. Alone in there bubble, Cass lost all her worries.

As the tower began to lighten, Cass sat up clutching her shirt across her self. Realizing it had been a couple hours. She had gone back to a time, when she didn't care what time it was, but it was as if the light had snapped her out of it. When she realized she had a little bit more time, she slowly traced his arm that was around her with her fingers softly, smirking softly. How could she have even compared the too was beside herself, as she looked around the round room. Trying to find all of her clothing without moving. As she sat there in the moment in between morning and night. Her breath visible in the shadows, she realized how cold it really was out side seeing the brooch that keeps you warm, she didn't wonder why she hadn't been able to feel it when it must have fallen off her shirt. The brooch was one of the many gadgets that she had in her room, part of her adventures were collecting magical inventions and such. Outfit; ClickyNotes; Not really sexy.. PG-13 kinda sucks.. Though he was normally in much better control of himself and his mind as his sister wrapped herself around him he lost that control. Though his mind worked faster and with more intensity than anyone elses it was easily distracted in this instance. Though his other thoughts were there he no longer paid them any attention. No his mind was on just one track at the moment. As che pulled him closer he held her tight to him. He felt her hand touch the bare skin of his back and there was no way any one could have stopped what was coming. He reached his hands around to the small of her back and laid her softly on the floor.
-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
When they finished hours later he could see the first few rays of sunlight breaking over the horizon. He smirked unsurprised by how long they had taken. He knew that should they have started earlier that they more than likely would have continued to the same poit anyways. It was the light that let them know that they needed to finish up. The time was late and soon children would be coming to this spot. Jack watched as Cassie looked for her clothes, and with a small wave of his hand they zooomed from the corners of the tower to her. As he sat up he tapped his ring against his chest and he was dressed.
Now he had to force his mind back to where it had been before he had been so thoroughly distracted. He was thinking of the night when he returned. This man called Robert had seen him murder, and if he were going to live up to his word he would have to speak to this man and come to an agreement. He would also have to free the girl he had trapped in the genies lamp. Perhaps it would be best to do both at the same time for the girl and this man were the only ones other than his sister that knew that he had murdered. He would have to convince them to overlook this so that he could effectively join the good side. He knew that he would never be able to obey the laws fully, but he would do the best that he could.
As he thought about it more he realised that he could still do exactly what he wanted on the side of good. He could still tear apart his mothers forces, and go after his mother himself. He stood up and turned to look out the window wondering how he could convince the two witnesses not to mention what they had seen while still being good. It surely would not be easy, but it was what he would have to do. He turned to look at his sister with a sigh. "Well I guess there is no reason to delay this. If we're going to be able to be together publicly I will have to make it known that I am siding with the ministry. First I must talk with this Robert. Where can I find him?"

As her cloths zoomed to her she slightly pouted but went along as within seconds the arm next to her was covered in clothing, but she decided to take her time rolling up each stripped sock up to her knee and then she magically fixed the buttons on her blouse, that she couldn't try doing it the other way, it took to long and there was many a time she had jabbed the needle into her finger, and even if she healed quickly it still stung. Once she attached her black broach, the goosebumps sunk away fast as a warm feeling surrounded her quickly. It was weird for her to be putting it while being cold and not in her warm office. For a second as she thought of her office she hoped she hadn't kept the fire going that could be disasters with all the books piled around her room. She could see her office up in flames, and that would just not be good.
As she was pulling on her heels was when he spoke again. Which almost made her topple over, as it was very difficult to stand on one little alone in slight shock. "What? Ministry? Why??" she stuttered softly. Confusion whipped all over her face. No she didn't like murder, but she also didn't trust the ministry. Specially since she was still under orders of her mother to stay low and she had already betrayed that, though she hadn't told Bellatrix he had returned, she let her mother think he was dead. Real Jack and their mother would not get along little alone if he was gonna turn his ways around. This stuck her in a hard place, because she loved jack but even though she didn't like who her mother was, she liked knowing her all the same. Slowly she put on her other heel so she could stand up, without falling over.
Then the last part hit her like a bus he wanted to speak to Robert, she almost hyperventilated in her brain, without showing a single sign on her face. Panic spread as she knew he was less then five floors below getting ready for his brisk walk up to the great hall, where he'd glance over to a empty table, which was rather rare for her, and she knew that would result in a visit. It was like she swallowed that information for a moment, not knowing what to do. "You are not talking to him alone." she said softly to the floor, she never had fully stood up to Jack as she normally went along with every single plan he laid down on the table, but this one could loose her job. She had worked so hard to get this job she didn't want it to be taken away with a snap of Roberts fingers.
"And I'm going by my adopted name here, Cassandra Claire. For a very good reason." That had been not only a way to separate herself from the fake Jack, but give room to be unknown, all the questions about Bellatrix like she was dead was hard to take for her, she heard enough of them asked of that Jack she didn't need to be confronted with them herself. Plus now she really didn't need Robert knowing she was involved with her brother, she wasn't ashamed. But the looks were already bad enough from down the table even if he could convince him that he was gonna be good which she still hadn't wrapped her head around. "And it would also blow over better if you haven't killed his daughter. She a red head, kinda chubby, smells like newborns. Her name is Kelsey." she said giving the description of Kelsey as best she could for the little amount she saw her in the library. "Oh and to answer your question of where he is, he's the headmaster here." she let the last bomb fall looking back to his face. Outfit; ClickyNotes; none. Words; 666 Credits; Riddleshop

Jack smirked at his sister as she paniced about the ministry. "Relax just cause I'm siding with the ministry doesn't mean that I'll be working for them though that is an idea." He paused for a second as he let that thought sink in. Surely if things worked out with this Robert and the unknown girl in the lamp that would be a possibility. Also it would help to get a name for himself in away that would shame both his father and mothers names. This was something that he would deffinately enjoy. It took only a few seconds for these thoughts to run through his brain as he turned back to his sister.
"As for why I am siding with the ministry I fully intend to bring mom down. Yes she may be a skilled witch, but the only reason she still lives is because she will not hesitate to throw someone in the way of a curse and she's a pretty fast runner for an old bitch. Her time is over, and you know very well that I nearly got killed because of her screwing me over." Though to any one else these words would have come out in a harsh tone He spoke them as casually as if he were speaking of the weather. He was not upset that she hadn't understood. Cassandra understood him better than anyone else, but he was still a hard gy to get.
He stood and watched as she seemed to be thinking something over in her head. When she spoke again a grin spread across his face. So she wanted to come with him. He wondered why this could be if she was worried that this man may hurt him. Perhaps she was afraid that he might say something about her. What ever the case was he saw no reason to refuse her. It would be nice to be able to keep her close by as much as possible. He closed the distance between them so fast the movement was invisible. "If you want to come then I will be happy to have you with me."
When she spoke again he raised his eyebrows. She was going by a different name. "Well I won't try to act like I'm not surprised. I knew that you'd have changed, but to deny who you are. I don't like our parents any better than you do. Nor do I like the looks I get because of my name. I will not deny the truth of where I came from, but I will do my damndest to change how people think of the name." He sighed as he turned to look back out the window. The sun was getting higher in the sky. Normaly this would be his cue to return to the chamber of secrets, but today it would be different. "I'm not upset if you want I will not let him know that you are related to me. We can say we grew up in the same orphanage."
He turned back towards her and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. He smirked at her as he waited for her response. When she spoke this time his jaw nearly dropped to the floor. When she described this Roberts daughter he realised that it was the unknown girl he had in the genies lamp. Then she informed him that he was the headmaster. A mischevous grin spread across his face. He held his hand out and the lamp appeared in it. "Actually I have the girl right here and she's perfectly safe and sound. As for him beiung the headmaster here that is good I am sure together we could capture mom."

Slowly Cassandra walked closer to Jack as he spoke about the ministry and possibly working with them. It was weird to see this new light within him to want to switch sides just like that. It was expected for him to see different lights after being trapped for so long, but this haste was new to her. She didn't know if to go along or try to convince him otherwise. She didn't know what to do with him, or how to react but as he looked at her. She knew she'd stand beside him with no questions asked, but favors was an option still. As he started speaking of their mother she was reminded of how much distaste he held for her, and even if she was glad to have her mother finally. She knew she would give it up in a moment for Jack, and she was going to but for some reason she thought maybe her new found relationship with the woman may come in handy for this Jack, as Bellatrix did not know Jack was alive. Except for the impostor in the paper, that every one was talking about. Which she knew soon she'd have to sit down with him and explain all the things he technically owned, and about the child with their DNA running around. She slightly wondered if her had seen his mansion yet, but then again she didn't think he hadn't been very far from her at any moment. He probably followed her straight to the castle after the hospital incident for all she knew.
Jack basically owned the whole magical community excluding the school and the ministry. From the paper, to the leaky cauldron. When the fake Jack riddle died he had a lot of money, hell he had owned the bank. She needed to look into who inherited them all or if there was a way to transfer it to the real Jack, she had worked hard for that money, it wasn't all his. As always she didn't want her name out there, she wasn't one for all the attention. But she couldn't let all that work go without a fight that was sure. Slowly she gained a plan as she listened to him in the background. Still hearing every single word, hanging on some of them longer then others. Her eyes glossed over as she set out her plan, slowly. Quickly she compiled a list of people she needed to talk to and all the dirt she could use on all of them, or which outfit to wear. All the schemes she had played ran through her head quickly as if snap shots making up a old home made movie.
When he said that he wouldn't be upset if he were to say they weren't actually related, her eyes flew open. Surprise washed out all the ideas in her head like a 5 min spring down pour on a chalk board full of plans, and left black wet slate. She didn't know what to say for a couple moments or what to do, this was different and new of the real Jack. She didn't know how to take this new attitude of changing things on a dime, but she wasn't going to disagree with him at this point. It seamed with everything she said he would agree with her, it was weird. It was as if he couldn't read her mind, and that hit her like a lightening bolt. She couldn't remember if the real Jack had had that gift or if it was the fake one, it really troubled her all of a sudden but she didn't think it was wise to let him know that at that moment, so instead she just smiled and kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you Jack, You don't know how important it is that I don't stick out more then I already do here."
When the lamp appeared in his hand she breathed out a sigh of relief she didn't know if she could have ever looked Robbie in the eyes again if his daughter was some crumpled bloody mess in the bottom of the chamber of secrets. She listened to his exclamation of basically how great it was that Robert was the head master and that they could work together to catch their mother, which was fine and dandy but all she thought about at that very moment was getting the poor girl out of that lamp, and how to fix what ever Jack might have told her some how. First she thought of nothing else but how hungry and thirsty the young mother might be stuck at the bottom. They now shared something in common because there was a couple time she had been stuck in one of those lamps, it was a common thing for rich dirty old wizard to try to capture young witches. Even though she hated the faker he had saved her life a couple times. Slowly she took the Lamp from him without a word, and turned her back towards him. With a deep breath, smog started flowing out of the top of the lamp until Kesley started to appear slowly. At the same time a plate of food appeared beside Cass with a pitcher of water. Though at the same time walls shot up at all the exits including most of the windows, making the hall almost unrecognizable. "I'm not gonna hurt you if you cooperate." she said sternly towards the red head.

Being inside the lamp was very, disturbing. It was not like most of the lamps people describe in books. In the books, they describe it as a nice room, decorated with gold fabrics and mesh curtains and veils with pillows and beds everywhere. This lamp was not like that. It was a dark, cold room with stone floors that were damp to the touch. There was no place to sit and no beds. The only thing that was there was a small patch of straw in the corner and a dully lit torch perched in its stand on the wall. The room was small, barely larger than a broom cupboard. It was a living hell and until she was released, it was Kelsey's living hell.
She didn't know if she would ever even be released from this prison. She sat down on the straw, trying her best not to cry. Was she to be killed as soon as she was released from this lamp? The one thing Kelsey feared most was what if she didn't see her family ever again. She had only been away from her children for a day now and already did she miss them more than words could describe. She hoped that she would be able to see them again. That was the only thing she wanted: To be reunited with her family. She wondered if her father even noticed she was missing yet. How long exactly was she in this lamp so far? Was it only 5 minutes? 5 hours? maybe even 5 days? Did time go faster when she was inside the lamp? She really didn't know.
The only way to pass the time in this lamp was to sleep. As uncomfortable as she was on the straw, it had been a long and tiring day so it did not take long for Kelsey to fall asleep. She did not have any dreams. Only darkness surrounded her. It was nice not to think of anything for a little bit. Lately her slumber was haunted with dreams and visions of horrible things. Yes, the horcrux inside of her was acting up again. She didn't tell anyone that though, not even her father, whom she told just about everything to. It had gotten worst ever since she had given birth to the twins. She would sometimes wake up in a cold sweat but hot to the touch. She made sure to hide all of this from James. She didn't want him to worry. She would find some way to make them stop for a little bit, she always did.
Kelsey was awoken from her peaceful, dreamless slumber by a rumbling sound. She looked around the room and saw the walls start to shake. She didn't know what was happening. Quickly, Kelsey rose to her feet, not knowing what to do. Jack had taken her wand, so she had no way of defending herself, seeing as she was not the best fighter. Though she did once give Gemma Ackerly one good punch straight in the face. That was about the highlight of her fighting career. That was beside the point though. She felt fear rush over her and she watched the room begin to close in around her. Smaller and smaller it became. She felt the oxygen become less and less, causing her to gasp for air. The walls continued to close in on her until they were pressing against her body. This was it, she was going to die here. She felt the walls squish her more and more until, with one great jolt, they snapped together. However, before they snapped together, Kelsey had the feeling of weightlessness rush over her and everything went black.
When she came back to consciousness she was no longer inside the lamp, but back inside Hogwarts, she suspected, judging by the familiarity of the stone walls and old wood floors. As her focus began to clear, the first person she saw was the school librarian. Hope washed over her as she thought that maybe this woman had saved her from Jack. However, the hope was soon crushed when she saw Jack behind her. Great, just freaking great.
"Does it look like I have much of a choice to do anything but cooperate?" Kelsey said plainly, looking at the woman before her with dead eyes. Her focus went from the woman to the pitcher of water by her. She didn't notice just how thirsty she was until she saw that water there. She walked over to the pitcher and grabbed a glass, pouring the water inside the glass. She then took a drink, feeling relief wash over her. "I should have known you weren't a real librarian. You never did know where anything was in that library," Kelsey said simply, taking another drink of water. This whole situation simply sucked for her. But she had to follow her number one rule: survive.
"So what do you two want from me exactly? I would like to know what I am about to get myself into before hand," Kelsey asked, finishing off her water. She then grabbed a stem of grapes from the plate and began to pluck them off, popping each one into her mouth as she waited for the two adults before her to answer her. The red head had always hates surprises. She would rather know what was going on before it happened then have it all be a surprise to her. She wanted and needed to prepare herself mentally for all of this and what was about to come. Hopefully it wouldn't be anything too traumatic.

Jack smiled at Cassandra as she seemed to drink in his words. He hoped that she would be willing to go along with his plans. He didn't think that he could survive very long with out her. She was the main reason that he still existed. He wouldn't have cared enough to make a horcrux if he didn't have her. She was the whole reason for his existing. She made his life worth living. What she didn't know was that when they found each other Jack had been on his way to go kill himself, but in finding Cassandra he found his reason to live. There was nothing in the world that mattered even half as much to him as she did. As long as he could keep her happy and stay at her side he would.
He smirked as she spoke of avoiding sticking out. That would deffinately explain her using a different name. When people heard that you were a Lestrange they give you enough odd looks, but to hear that your name is Riddle they look at you like you've got six heads. This was not something that bothered him he enjoyed being the center of attention, but Cassandra was not him she was different and he could not fault her for it. "I can respect that, and I will not reveal you for who you are though I'm not happy that I'll have to lie.You know that I find it more interesting to just be honest. It makes things more interesting that way."
He watched as she set the girl called Kelsey free from the lamp. He took a few steps back to see how Cassie would handle the situation. He was surprised by how cold she acted towards the girl. Normaly that would be his job, and she'd be the one acting all nice. He wondered exactly how much had changed in the years he had been trapped inside that box. Perhaps the world and the people in it were completely different than how he knew them to be, but he doubted it. Just because one person had changed didn't mean that everything else had. Surely his mother would be the same vindictive bitch she'd always been.
Jack rolled his eyes at the theatrics, and he walked back up laying his hand lightly on Cassandra's shoulder. "It's okay there is no need to scare her. The end result will be the same either way." He removed from his inside pocket Kelsey's wand and tossed it back to her. Then with a wave of his hand the walls his sister had put up disapeared. "Now now be nice child she truly is a Librarian. She wouldn't have been involved in anything if I hadn't come back. As for what we want. I just ask that you not speak of what you know about me or even that I am alive. There won't be any consequences if you don't, but I hope that you will consider it. Also if you know anything of my mother such information would be usefull to help me take her down."

Well a little extreme, but he stepped into role without a blink. Probably without even thinking about it. She thought in her head as she could feel his hand on her shoulder. If she was really angry she would have snapped at the librarian comment, which still strike a cord. Just not enough to make her go over board but Jack explained gracefully. Good cop did not really fit her brother, but there was more he didn't know about the girl and she hoped she was correct. If not this was going to be awkward. She decided bribery was the best way for this too really go down. She knew how to use Jack's ability to get Kelsey too her children. That was something she knew Kelsey wanted, even before being kidnapped, probably more then before. Which made it even more of a great trick.
Though on top of getting information, she needed time to prepare before speaking with Robert, she needed Jack out of the castle for a little while. Let things cool down a little, maybe the ease of missing children would calm him down a bit, though she knew Jack wasn't the only one in the school, but those whom were still in the school, weren't going to let Jack take the fall for any of it, and she was already cracking a plan to show Jack a little less guilty then he was, if only she could sneak out to the forest alone would see if her plan could go alright, and make everything a whole lot easier. She just hoped Jack will go along once she has the plan set. She knew he liked honesty, but she didn't want him in Azkaban either. This was her slim chance to possibly keep him out of there, and if it didn't go perfect there was always a slim possibility that it could go horribly wrong.
"Well actually Jack there is need, right Kelsey?" she spoke quietly starring at the girl she disliked her, how high the levels her mother had put in place to protect her on many occasions. She wanted to know what her mother held this girl in such a way her daughter couldn't compare. "You know a lot about Bellatrix, I know she has visited you. Now if you tell us what is going on between the two of you, my friend here can take you out of this castle to your children, with the condition you don't contact your father of course." her eyes did not leave the girl. Jealousy was one of the only things that drove Cass crazy, and here in front of her was someone who had two parents who did everything for her and then she had to hog Bellatrix too.
Yes her brother hated Bellatrix for putting him in a trap, but she hadn't even known her till recently, she couldn't fight those old days at her foster family wishing to know her own mother, why she thought the way she did. When she met Bellatrix, the woman didn't even seam to acknowledge that she even had a daughter. Treated her like another death eater she could use as a pawn in this very slow chess game with the ministry. She grew to dislike Bellatrix, but that didn't mean for some young girl to keep her attention. It stung so deep, yes Kelsey was a good girl, and yes she was the headmasters daughter, but that didn't slow the fact she would hurt the girl if she had too. That pulse rushed through her veins the one that hoped she didn't take the deal, but in her heart she knew she wouldn't refuse it in Kelsey's shoes.
When she left Beauxbaton's she was alone, and confused in her foster family. Unsure of what to do, she had decided to find her family. It was odd though that she was basically right around the corner from her foster home that she had ran into Jack. He had looked troubled, she could feel he was unhappy. The way she had felt his emotions made it even more impossible to not get to know him. Together she was the happiest, and he seamed to become a lot happier as well, by the end of the first conversation she was stuck to him like glue. When they figured/found out they were twins it was too late, she had fallen too far to even wince. The memories had been in her head a lot loosing fake Jack and trying to remember what real Jack was like. She didn't disagree with her choice, but she wished she hadn't had to see him die twice, and learn a new face. Outfit:: ClickyNotes:: none. Words:: 786 Credits:: Riddleshop

In her sixth year, Kelsey had made a lot of mistakes. One of her mistakes was her choice to start drinking. She had been in a really dark place at the time and made the mistake of picking up that bottle of vodka. She had been addicted to the stuff, not going a day without drinking it. Then, a miracle happened. She got pregnant and was forced to stop drinking for nine months. Her nine months of sobriety were a turning point in her life. She could see things clearly and knew that she had to get herself back in track. Luckily, when her babies were born, she was able to stay away from drinking for the duration of the time, only having one slip up.
Her second mistake was ever befriending Bellatrix. She had felt alone and was not really talking to her parents at the time. Bellatrix was there to comfort her and made her feel not so alone. She had began to train Kelsey to be a Death Eater, but after two meetings, she realized she didn't want to be a Death Eater. That was not the life for her. That and she had married James which made her feel not so alone anymore. Now Bellatrix was after her. She knew she was and with her twins now born, her small little family was in more danger than ever now. So far Bellatrix was quiet but she knew that it wouldn't be long before she would strike again.
Standing before Jack and Cassandra, Kelsey could feel her heart begin to race. Though on the outside she seemed slightly calm, on the inside she was freaking out. She had no clue what these two wanted or if they would hurt her. If they found out her secret it could potentially lead to her death. After all, who wouldn't want to kill the horcrux to Bellatrix Lestrange? She decided right there that she wouldn't say anything about it if they asked. Then, as if they were reading her mind, they began to ask about it. Great, now Kelsey had to lie. Hopefully after years of lying to her father she was capable of coming up with a solid lie for them, or at least stray away from the whole horcrux business.
"I won't tell anyone anything about you," Kelsey said to Jack. If not talking about this Jack was going to keep her alive then that was what she was going to do. She didn't need to tell people about Jack after all. He was not that much of a regular topic in her conversations anyways. "I have nothing going on with Bellatrix. I was in a dark place last year and she was there to listen to me and wanted to train me to be a Death Eater. I went to two meetings with her and then I quit and stopped going. Now she is after me most likely. That is all that there is between us. I don't know why she chose me to train. Probably to get back at my father for quitting or something. I haven't even spoke to that woman in over a year," Kelsey said to the two adults before her. She wasn't lying with what she said, luckily. She just wasn't telling all of the truth. Hopefully they would buy this reason for seeing Bellatrix so that she could see her children. Only one other time had Kelsey talked to Bellatrix about her being a horcrux and that resulted in her running away from the evil witch.
"I swear, that is all I know about Bellatrix. Now please, can I go see my children?" Kelsey asked, hoping they would let her go. After all, without knowing that she was a horcrux, what use was she to these two? She took another bite of grapes, feeling the hunger pains in her stomach begin to die down. Who knew being trapped inside a lamp for hours could make a person so hungry?
