PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:adele is graced with beautiful features. her hair is naturally blond, although she has coloured it darker once or twice. it's fun to change things up a bit. as for length, that has also varies. she has tried different hair styles many, many, times throughout her recent teenage years. hey, that's what teenage girls do. she finds that she likes it both long and short, or in between. adele has bright green eyes, that are often mistaken to be blue under certain lighting. adele has her mother's curvy, buxom, graceful figure and pale skin. she has a husky voice that is tainted with a seductive tone. she doesn't sound all that pretty when she is sick though.

a lot of what adele wears (apart from the usual hogwarts uniform) is inspired by earlier eras. she mostly like vintage looking things, that look to be of the 1940's era. adele doesn't know why but, that was her favourite era in history (the span between 1920-1940's). the world was thriving then, growing, and interesting things happened in the fashion world. plus, that sort of style has made a big come back. due to her short stature, adele owns a lot of shoes. in fact, she loves shoes (and clothes for that matter). she loves heels since they make her taller. you can find her wearing skinny jeans, some sort of shirt, and heels a majority of the time. she tones it down during the winter but, this girl likes to show off what her momma gave her, and she isn't afraid to do it.

PERSONALITY: ambitious.

[/b] adele is full of ambition. it's not always a good trait but, it's not necessarily bad either. she possesses the drive and motivation to accomplish what ever goal she sets before her, big or small. she strives to reach those goals too. perhaps this is part of why she was sorted in slytherin. adele also gets a tad upset when she doesn't reach these goals in the manner of time she thought she would. it is frustrating for her when she doesn't accomplish her plans. it makes her feel lazy, and she is by far not a lazy person. she hates laziness.

argumentative.[/i] when adele feels she is right (which is 99% of the time), she is perfectly find with arguing her point. even if she is wrong, and she knows she is wrong, adele will argue just for the sake of arguing. it probably is not the best thing because such arguing makes it hard for her to admit when she is actually wrong.

bossy[/i] adele tends to be a tad bit on the bossy side. she's one of those pushy type of girls. she goes after what she wants and if you are in her way, she'll tell you to move.adele would prefer to be in control of things than being a mindless sheep. she would rather be telling people what to do than being told what to do (even though that conflicts with her idea of being some big-shots assistant). she hates being told no, especially when she is telling someone to do something. she forgets to ask people, and winds up telling them something.

charismatic[/i] adele is pretty talkative. public speaking is never a problem for her. if you are going to be argumentative in nature, you have to know just how to get your point made. she really is not afraid to speak her mind, or speak out during classes. despite the fact she is a big bossy, and possibly intimidating, she is easy to talk to. she is a good friend. she does listen when they need someone to talk to. although she might not always know what to say, she does share comforting words.

confident[/i] adele is pretty darn confident, given she isn't afraid to speak and all. her confidence applies to all areas. she is confident as a student that she can learn any spell, hex, potion, etc. she walks with confidence, talks with confidence, and acts with confidence. adele really just is not afraid of much. this could score her as out-going, because well, she really is. she feels that if she isn't confident, that maybe no one will like her. so she wears her confidence like a security blanket. plus, she feels it will help her stand out from her siblings.

conscientious[/i] despite what many thing, adele is a bit conscientious. she spends a good hour on her appearance in the morning. she often feels that if she isn't looking good, isn't confident, ambitious, and all that she is, she won't be accepted. her main issue is the lack of attention she gets from her parents, being the middle child. she tries to make up that void with her social life. she needs people to like her to feel better about herself. from watching others, she has gathered that if she is this confident, out spoken girl, people will like her.

impulsive[/i] adele often acts and speaks on impulse. it is safe to say she often things without thinking. this causes problems for her. it often puts rifts in her relationships - particularly between herself and her parents and siblings. if in an argument, she might say something incredibly cruel and out of line. iz might not necessarily mean it, it just comes out. it's an impulse that she really isn't sure how to keep under control. she hasn't yet learned when it is time to bite her tongue and shut the bloody hell up.

intelligent[/i] aside from her various flaws, adele is a smart girl. her ambition helps her to do well in her studies, in a sense to prove herself to be not another dumb blond who likes to shop. adele has the need to prove herself to be competent in all areas of magic. her favourites are charms, transfiguration, and divination. although many seek to hate divination, adele likes it. it has a certain allure to it that others seem to think are rubbish.

HISTORY adele agatha avery was the third child and only girl to be born into the next generation of the pure-blood avery family. adele grew up as any child in a pure-blood family would. well, as any pure-blood child with a somewhat wealthy family would. for the most part, adele got what she wanted when she asked for it enough. her parents never really denied her much. growing up, adele felt slightly neglected. more often than not, she seemed to be over looked. she felt (and still does) that her parents favoured her brothers more, or at least her father seemed to do so. when her brothers both were accepted to hogwarts, naturally adele was jealous. they always got to do everything first because they were the oldert. he got to take the special shopping trip to diagon alley, and adele was left behind with some great aunt. adele distinctly remember the aunt's house smelling like week old cabbage.

the year without her elder brothers was somewhat nice. adele got more time with her parents, with slightly less divided attention. her brothers came home full of stories of hogwarts. he even tried to convince adele that they stuff first years down the toilets but, that he narrowly escaped using some sort of hex or other. adele viewed this all as lies. luckily, she would be able to find out for herself as that summer holiday, she received her letter to hogwarts.

adele was really excited to go. she got to take the special shopping trip with her parents...only her brother got to go to for his school supplies. this was a downer foradele. she was hoping to go with her parents alone but, no. even though the day was exciting, iz was in a half sour mood because her brother had to be there. she did get some consolation out of it, her sister had to stay with the smelly cabbage great aunt. on the train ride to hogwarts, adele was rather chatty with her fellow first years. she avoided her brother because she wanted to avoid getting labeled as "avery's little sister" . her charisma helped her gain a favourable status on the train ride to hogwarts.

during her sorting, adele half hoped she wouldn't be put in slytherin with her brother. the only problem with that, is that she thought her parents wouldn't love her as much if she was in a different house. so, to slytherin she wanted and willed to be. the sorting hat seemed to agree with her. to slytherin adele was sorted. she fell into life at hogwarts rather quickly. immediately her ambitious, out spoken, independent nature kicked in. her brother had offered to help her until she got comfortable but, iz rejected the help. she wanted to do everything on her own, without big brother guiding her through.

iadele's second to fourth years came a went. she grew to be more confident. adele grew into a bright, mostly happy, teenage girl, and all the usual drama and complications that sort of life gives you. at the tail end of her fourth year, and the beginning of her fifth year, adele noticed boys started to notice her more. and why should they? she was attractive, smart, and all of that. izzy shamelessly flirted with all who looked whether they be take or not. that still holds true today, now in her sixth year. don't get her wrong, she does have morals. she may do a lot of flirting but, if a boy is taken, isadora won't make a move. now, if they make a move then, it's a different story. it isn't her fault what they do or don't do. there have been a couple times her flirty attempts were rejected - usual by the loyal kids. she hates rejection. on one occassion, after being rejected, adele attended a party. there was drinking of course, and well, she ended up snogging a girl. and she liked it. she has admitted to herself that she did in fact like it but, she isn't out right gay - only slightly bi-sexual. adele is still very attractive to boys but, she isn't entirely opposed to a snogging session with a girl.
