PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: coop is a pretty tall kid standing at six feet, and maybe an extra inch or two. he can't be exactly sure. he has brown hair, where if it isn't cut short, it is a tad long, and he leaves it messy looking most of the time. he has beautious soft brown eyes and usually sports some sort of facial hair as of late.

cooper likes to dress classy when he's dressed for school. on weekends, he might dress down to just a t-shirt of some sort, jeans, and sneakers or something. it really all depends on how early (or late) he rolls out of bed. he does like to dress up though when he gets the chance so, he's got a good collection of fancy suits and ties. hats, he loves those. especially fedoras. he often wears one.

QUIRKS OR HABITS: cooper tends to chew his thumbnails when he is nervous - he is a bit messy at home, like you can't see his bedroom floor.
BOGGART: it's form, the fear and what is done to vanish it.
PATRONUS: american eskimo hound there was a really bad stormy night, and all his sisters who was little at the time, hid in cooper's bedroom closet. on that night, cooper sat in there with them to "protect" them from the bad weather. eventually, he carried them off to their own bedroom, and tucked them in. that night, they called him their hero.

PERSONALITY: cooper has a very colorful personality. he likes to draw attention to himself sometimes - usually the good sort of attention. he's was a bit of a class clown you could say. it's true, he is a bit of a show off ]s\like, a lot

[/s] on his broom, or anytime really, which is mostly just to gain attention (especially from girls0 in his hogwarts days. he doesn't feel he needs the attention, he just actually likes it. it's an ego boost. cooper just likes to act like the goofball he really is. for the most part, he has grown out of this phase

he's a super dork when it comes to muggle things.although he wasn't muggle born, there is just something about that whole other world that interests him. he loves their movies, comic books, books, television shows, and all that sort of stuff. cooper decided a long time ago that he would appreciate muggles. after all, they are just humans like him. they just can't do/know about the magic part. that is the only difference so, he appreciates and often befriends muggle-borns and muggles.

coop has a bit of an ego. it's not over the top and he does admit that it's there. his head fits through doors so, it's not all that bad. he doesn't really let his ego get the best of him but, sometimes it does get the best of him. he mostly just likes to joke around about it then actually be all egotistical all the time.

on that note, cooper likes to see the humor in everything. he likes to crack those jokes that are so dumb, you have to laugh at them. he also has that sarcastic kind of humor he likes to toss about. laughing is the best medicine, in his opinion. he particularly likes to get girls laughing. he likes that he can make people feel better by getting a good laugh out of them. it makes him feel better too.

cooper is also pretty out going, has a strong sense of self-confidence. he'll do just about anything and everything he can. dare him to do something, and he'll probably do it....just so long as that dare doesn't involve a snake. cooper is not a fan of snakes. he hate snakes, especially the sounds they make and the way they feel.

he isn't always this goofy guy. cooper has a real serious side too. he knows when he should act appropriately and he usually does. he feel real emotions, just like anyone else and has one of the biggest hearts on the planet. when cooper likes a girl, he makes it known and pursues her. he likes the chase part of the game. he makes his intentions quite obvious. his swooning tactics are usually successful but, he has had his fair share of rejection. coop was raised by his parents to be a gentleman. chivalry is not dead with him. he opens doors for girls, let's them go first, he helps old ladies cross the street and carries their groceries and all that jazz. romantic, he is. he even has the way he wants to propose to a girl planned out.

being the eldest and only boy out of four children has benefited cooper. he isn't some insensitive prat. he knows what feelings are, and that other people (especially) girls have them. he is sensitive to what other people maybe feeling. (mostly to keep him from getting slaughtered by his sisters and mother when they are all going through "that time of the month") this cat isn't afraid to cry although, he isn't going to be found doing that in front of all his friends. he is just considerate and kind toward the emotional well being of others.

as the and only eldest son of michael & demelza, cooper had a pretty interesting childhood. he had four wonderful years alone with his parents. to be perfectly honest, he does not remember a thing about those short years.there are probably fragments floating around in his memory but, those are really unknown to him. for as far back as he can remember, his younger sisters have been around.

cooper was just about four years old when sister number one came around. he remembered being excited to have a sibling. being an only child got a bit lonely but, he was dejected to find instead of the brother he wanted, he got a sister instead. she was alright, at first. typical baby that got all the attention while the older kid got less. barely less than a year later, cooper got another sister. now, he was five and was really hoping for a brother he could share things with but, luck was not on his side. stupid girls.

cooper grew accustomed to have two sisters around. the babies shared a bedroom, and cooper was super glad he did not have to share his room or his stuff with a couple of girls. he couldn't stay away from his sister's though. his mum, demelza, encouraged coop to help her care for them. in the end, he felt like he should be like his dad and help protect the girls.

four years passed by. cooper turned ten. one year away from hogwarts. he could hardly contain such excitement. his sister always were bothering him to play dress-up, house, have tea, hogwarts, those sorts of things. cooper never really minded playing with them - particularly because if he didn't, they would cry. he could not resist complying with their wants when they cried. tears are a weakness of his. they knew that and probably have used that to their advantage all these years. the years of constant playing girls' games seemed like they could very possibly end for cooper but, they didn't. their parents announced another baby was on the way. cooper had another chance to get that baby brother.

nope. it was another girl. another girl. cooper was now surrounded by girls and he thought he was going to lose his mind. it was bit easier this time with the new baby. the girls were more interested in it than he was. he doesn't love his baby sister any less but, the other two sort of took over taking care of her as a baby. it was sort of funny (and annoying) listening to them fight over who got to help feed her, change, etc. next.

eventually january came around, and cooper had a large eleventh birthday party with all his family and neighborhood kids. eleven was a big day for a half-blood boy. the party was smashing. days went by and cooper waited at the windows, paced the front yard, waiting for his hogwarts letter. he waited, and waited, and waited. days passed. days turned to weeks. and weeks into months. cooper started to worry. what if he didn't get into hogwarts? what then? would have to become a squib? ahh, that would be horrible. no one likes squibs. he couldn't play quidditch if he was a squib.

during the time of his birthday and july, cooper made friends with a muggle boy - who introduced him to muggle things. it wasn't that his parents hadn't but, coop did not know everything. this kid, taught him street smarts..sort of. coop was introduced to comic books, movies, and other things muggles like. oh, he fell in love with the comic books and movies - more the movies. he became best friends with that muggle kid, and they remained such. it was not until july that year that it finally arrived. the hogwarts owl finally swooped into their kitchen and dropped the letter right into cooper's cereal bowl, and took off again. cooper knocked over the entire kitchen table in pure excitement - that got him a punishment of picking up sticks in the yard but, he was perfectly happy while doing it.

the letter finally came. he was going to hogwarts. his sisters were less excited of his leaving. they cried, whined, begged him not to go. coop had to remind them that they would all go too, when they were eleven. the baby was too young to even know what was going on - only a year old. but, the other two knew. when the end of the month rolled around, off the entire family went to diagon alley. cooper got his wand - oak, unicorn tail hair, eight & a half inches - and all other supplies needed for a hogwarts student.

during his sorting, cooper waited in extreme uneasiness for his sorting. he really did not care what house the hat put him in, so long as he didn't get sent home. that would be most embarrassing. after being placed on his head, the hat had a difficult time deciding which house cooper belonged to. it debated between gryffindor and ravenclaw. cooper waited in agony as the old rag debated with himself. finally (after what felt like hours but was a total of 60 seconds) the hat placed cooper in gryffindor. the table of lions hooped and cheered as he joined them.

cooper felt right at home with his fellow gryffie first years. he assimilated into life at hogwarts rather well. to be honest, he was more happy about his room not being invaded by girls every five minutes. it was nice to just with boys a few hours out of the day. cooper made friends with a majority of his housemates and year mates - save for those few who felt they were better than everyone else. his first year was filled with letters from home (particularly from his three sisters). those grew to be a bit...embarrassing. the girls tended to include things like glitter, lots of glitter, and use pink paper, and other girly things. coop took the teasing heat from his mates but, he did write back to them every time.

by the time cooper had reached his fourth year, one of his sister finally came to hogwarts. cooper sort of half dreaded the idea of it. he was sort of glad to get away from all the girly stuff during the terms. his eldest sister was sorted into ravenclaw an completely different house than cooper, much to his relief. at the same time, that made him a bit uneasy. it would be harder for him to watch over his sister with her being in a different house. especially when boys came into the picture.
