Jack walked into the kitchen somewhere around midnight. His normaly composed features where no where to be found. It was obviouse that he was upset about something. It was odd though where as everything had been working to his benefit. He had captured Potters daughter three days earlier far ahead of schedule, and things were going well with her training. So what did he have to be upset about?
He couldn't stand that he had gained feelings for a person. Nothing against Magdalene she was beyond anything he could have asked for, but in thirty nine years he had never cared about any one, and now things were changing. He himself was changing, but why. He went to the fridge, and opened it. He looked into it without really seeing anything. He slammed it angrily knowing what he needed was not in there. He needed someone to talk to, but who?
He couldn't talk to Mag about it it might scare her off. He couldn't talk to his mother about it because she would see it as a weakness. He went to the drawer, and pulled out a blunt. He lit it with the tip of his wand, and sat down at the table. He was stuck because the only people he had was Mag, his mother, and Lily. Could he talk to Lily about it?

Lilly had awoken hearing the fridge slam. She sat up in the spare room wondering if she should go down, perhaps Jack was in a bad mood. She debated with herself, but eventually she had the guts and started to creep down the stairs, although she knew he would have heard her, the stairs constantly creaked. She took a breath before entering the kitchen and went over to the sink.
At first she ignored him, wondering if this was a bad thing. It had been three days and he was teaching her things over them. She turned the tap on and got a glassl and filled it. She turned the tap of and went and sat directly opposite him. "Angry?" she questioned, although she wasn't sure if she should have asked.

Jack heard Lily coming down the stairs. Normaly he would have picked up the paper, and mad himself look normal, but he didn't see the point. For the first time in twenty four years he was living with someone. She would eventually realise that he wasn't always so calm. He sat back in his chair, and took a long drag of his blunt as she came into the kitchen. He watched as she got herself a glas of water then came over, and joined him at the table. He heard her question, and he gave her a crocked smile.
"I guess I am a bit angry yes. More confused than anything, but I guess I'm only angry that I have no one to talk to about it." He sighed, and his mind went right back to the question it had been on before she had come down stairs, and he decided that he would have to give it a try. "I am sorry that I woke you up. Normaly I am much better about such things, but lately things have changed alot."

Lilly listened in to what he said. She thought about the fact he needed someone to talk too. At first she didn't make out that she could be one to talk. "What about Mag?" She took a sip from her glass. "I would elect myself, but i doubt you would want to talk to a fourteen year old about adult problems" she said truthfully.
"Oh things changing? Like what..." she questioned, wondering if it was personal or death eater stuff. She wouldn't say she didn't care about either, she just believed it was nothing to do with her. She looked back at him waiting for him to answer her. She took another sip from the glass.

He shook his head at her. "Don't ever think that age changes anything. When I was your age I was samrte than half of those who followed my father. As for talking to Magdalene about it, I would if I could, but it has to do with her so that excludes talking to her about it." He sighed as he turned his gaze to the window. He took another long drag from his blunt then he put it out on the table though it wasn't even half way done. He left what was left of it just sitting there.
"I've changed. I am sure that your father has told you alot about my father. Well I was always very much like him. I've never felt anything for anyone in a positive way other than respect. I have always believed that being attatched to anyone in any way was a weakness. As I am sure you have noticed I am quite attached to Magdalene. I wish I could just accept it, and have it be easy, but it's not. Also since she has been around I have found myself suddenly caring about other things. That includes you."

Lilly listened to him. It was about Mag? she thought to herself. She saw him turn his gaze to the window and quickly glanced at it to see if it was something interesting. She wondered what it was about Mag. She took a sip from the glass again, noticing him putting out his blunt. "Yes, my dad has told me about vol..." she stopped herself. "Your dad." she stopped.
She was always used to being able to call the dark lord by his name, she had been brought up like that, however she managed to stop herself just intime. She looked at Jack and waited for him to continue.
She was gobsmacked, he was opening up.. too her..? She didn't say anything though.. she was more or less.. Privilaged? if that was the word to feel respected enough for the dark lords son to open up to her. She listened as he said he has become attached to Mag. "Perhaps you've fallen in love?" she said interupting, but then allowed him to continue.
He said he had started caring about things. Even her. Me? she said to herself. She was confuzed, the daughter of the man that killed his father and he was starting to care for her? Perhaps it wasn't all bad, in her last few days she had surcombed to feel like life here was better than that at the Potter residence. She thought of how to reply. She chose her words carefully.
"I..thanks" she said but then gained the courage up to continue. "The last few days.. have been differant" she paused. "But.. i thank you for them. I havn't felt this much like part of a family." there she had said it, and she was pleased that she had got it off her chest. She stood up from the table dreading the reply and put the glass into the sink and then returning to her seat.

Jack watched as she got up, and put her glass in the sink. She then came back, and took her seat. Here Jack got up, and went over to her. He knelt next to her so that he was directly eye level with him. He gave her a quick, but tight hug. Then he pulled back, and looked her directly in the eyes. "You are more than welcome to think of it in such a way. I consider you family as well." He looked her over. He had not missed the fear in her voice. The fear had been there since the beggining.
"Lily don't be afraid of me, and don't be afraid to say what is on your mind. You can feel free to even call me a dumbass if you like it won't bother me. I told you when I first brought you here that it was nothing personal, and I meant it. I do not hold any hostilities against you for the sins of your father. You have never wronged me. I quite enjoy having you around, and when this is all over, and you are free to go, you will also be free to come back."

Lilly was shocked to have the hug, of course she had tensed up. She wasn't used to this, although she felt guilty for it. She listened to him about calling her family too. Over the past few days they had gained her trust, well some of it. "Ok, i guess im ok with that" she nodded referring to family. She had been treated rather well after all.
She let there be silence for a few seconds before she spoke next. "My dad always told me that people like.. your father were cruel and evil... but i don't think so, i can see you all just want to make the place better and i respect that. My dads the dumbass, not you" she smiled.

Jack smiled hearing those words, and knowing that they were the truth. "My father was a great wizard. He gave your father more chances than anyone else would have. Many times he told your father that he could either join him, or just let him be, and no harm would come to him. Your father was unfortunately corrupted by Albus Dumbledore. He was close minded. Yes we may torture, and kill people, but we only do it when there is good reason for it. I only killed the people in the pub that night, because I could not leave any witnesses. True I could have modified their memories, but my father proved that even the strongest of memory charms can be broken. The only sure way to make sure no one knew was to get rid of those who did. Remember never let anyone stand in your way no matter who they are, and never trust anyone but yourself, your magic, and your instincts."
Jack stood up, and walked to the wall. He put his hand to it, and it opened revealing a small space. He took out of it a wand. He walked over, and put the wand in front of her. "Forteen inches yew with a phoenix tail feather core. This wand belonged to my father, and now I give it to you. I told you before that I would teach you the unforgivable curses. There is a muggle in the garden hiding in a bush spying on us. He will serve as our guinea pig. Remember muggles are filthy non magical creatures that forced us into hiding when we are the greater beings. They deserve death, and torture every single one of them."

Lilly nodded ok, she believed every word that was spoke. Her father was the wrong one, and she wouldn't make the same mistakes as he did. She watched as Jack made the hole appear and took something out of it. She was curious and when he put it infront of her she saw it was a wand.
"Your fathers wand?" she gasped. "Why give it to me.. it should be yours.." she picked it up and examined it. She listened to what he said about muggles. It was true they were forced into hiding, she stood up, "ok" she nodded.

Jack smiled as he took out his own wand. With a wave everything in the kitchen moved to the walls leaving an open space in the middle. Another wave of it, and the door into the garden opened, and a woman was dragged through it be an invisible force. The door then slammed shut. Jack looked at the woman with utter disgust. He turned to Lily again.
"Okay so we will start with the cruciatus curse which is my particular favorite. I'm sure your father has tought you how to summon a patronous well this is the exact opposite. You need to concentrate on a particularly hateful memory, and let the hate fill you then point your wand at her and say Crucio." Jack took a step back to let lily be directly in front of the woman. "Don't break your concentration, and keep your wand on her. As long as you do so the curse will last that long. Now make the muggle feel the pain she deserves."

Lilly watched the woman being dragged in, she felt bad for her. Although she still pointed the wand at the woman. She thought of a hateful memory.. she couldnt think of one other than the day she stormed out of the house. "That will do she thought to herself.
She concentrated and prepared herself. "Crucio" she said inflicting the pain on the woman. Lilly thought it was pretty good for a first try and she turned to look at Jack.

Jack found himself impressed. He laughed at the womans scream of pain though it only lasted a short time. Ha clapped his hands together ignoring the womans sobs behind him. He put his hands on Lily's shoulders. "That was great. Most don't do anything on their first try. Your father didn't when he tried. Now where as you are just learning it would be better for you to be angry at her. Completely enraged." He stood behind her so that she could try again. "Remember she is not like us she deserves no pitty she is a filthy muggle. She is worse than mudbloods, and blood traitors alike. It his her kind that has caused us to hide in the shadows, and practice our magic in secret. If it wasn't for her we would be free to do magic where ever we like, and we could have beautiful magical houses. Now the filthy creature is spying on us as if we were the filth. Show her what she deserves."

Lilly nodded and took in his advice, she looked at the muggle screaming in pain. She thought of how this woman could have freedom and they had to hide away, she let her anger build before yet again pointing the wand, she let her guilt go. She felt nothing for this woman. "Crucio" she said more confident this time and watched as the woman screamed out in more pain.

Jack watched the woman scream in pain, and her back arched showing how excruciating the pain was. He laughed hard at the muggle's screams. The sound was glorious. He put his hand on lily's wrist, and pulled the wand away from the woman. He had froced her to release the woman from the curse. "That is most impressive. I have no doubts that you were ment to be here. You are a natural deatheater my dear. Only two tries, and you've already got a handle on the cruciatus curse. It took wizards far older than yourself months to get to the level you have gotten in one night. You should be proud of yourself."
Jack walked forward, and roughly pulled the woman to her feet. "Stand up straight, and don't move or you will die." He growled at her. The fear in the womans eyes was very obviouse. She looked at Lily, and she was terrified. Jack laughed at this. "That is exactly what you want from your oponents. You want them to be terrified of you." He walked back over to her standing behind her again. "Now lets have some fun with her. The impervious curse. For this you will have to clear your mind. Just relax. Point your wand at her and say imperio. You will know when it has worked you will feel your control over her. Then all you have to do is will her to do something and she will."
