Jack grinned. Her words made him happy. He could hear the truth in them, and it delighted him that she was not afraid of him. He was not surprised that he intimidated her. He was the son of the dark lord. He would be very intimidating to alot of people. Though this was the first he had ever told anyone who he truly was. Normaly he made them believe that he was just a Lestrange. He still wasn't exactly positive as to why he had told her the truth, but he was sure that things would always be different with her than they were with others. He looked into her eyes as she asked him a question.
He smiled at her, and he took her hands in his. "Magdalene I could give you a thousand reasons as to why I am attracted to you, but ultimately the truth is I don't know. For some reason you've awoken a side of me I never knew I had. All I know is that I am very happy to be in your presence, and I would deffinately like to see more of you." He walked around the table, and sat beside her in the booth. He wrapped his left arm around her waist, and pulled her closer to him. He kissed the top of her forehead, as he ran his fingers through her hair with his free hand.
"As for the reapers I know who they are, and I know how they are. As soon as they know that you are with me they will come after me. When they do they will be in for a surprise. I will kill a few of them, and then I will touch one of their marks making all of their marks burn. In doing so they will back off. Where as no deatheater has had their mark burn in twenty four years other than you it will make them panic. They may have been deatheaters once, but I consider them as big of traitors as those who gave the ministry names of their fellows. That is because they are now working with muggles. Muggles are disgusting creatures that belong at the feet of wizards waiting on them."

The twenty-one year old sighed as he smiled. In her mind she was faltering, that wall she usually kept up to keep everyone deeply out was seemingly starting to crack. For three years that wall had been in place, keeping her compassion wrangled in, and letting it burst out at times when ever she felt people needed it. But shoe wouldn't let them get close, no matter how close she got to them. That was their fault, not hers. She had lost so many people in her life, it wasn't funny. It took a toll on her. First there was T.J., then her parents, and then her best friend Marni--who was also T.J.'s little sister. They were all so close, and then in a flash they were gone. The worst part of it was, it was all her fault (or so she thought in her mind).
She was speechless to his words, and instead of thinking about them, she thought about someone else's. "I don't know Maggie. It's like a light went on inside my head when I saw you get off the Hogwarts Express with Marni. And everything seemed to fall into place then. I didn't care if you were blind or if you couldn't see me; as long as I saw you, that was all that really mattered to me… The words seemed to echo in her head, and she stayed in the small trance until he walked around and sat next to her pulling her close. She felt his lips on her forehead, and the hand in her hair. She didn't say a word. She could feel a slight whirring sensation in her head, but she wasn't going to let it happen. She knew what her eyes would project, and for her to see that, as well as jack, she knew it wouldn't end well.
As he spoke about Reaper, Mag couldn't help but feel a little frightened. Reapers had slowly changed over time, and she didn't think any of them had the Dark Mark… they just issued it. Her eyes clicked and she took a sip of fire whiskey. She didn't know where to put herself in this situation. She was grateful to the ReaperCorp, and T.J. for giving her everything--her eyes, her fame and glory--but on the other hand there were the things she had lost because of it. She sighed. Despite having feelings for Jack, the old ones for her former love she had closed away were opening up once more.
Finally, she spoke, but not about anything before the Reapers. "Jack, leave them alone… Their slowly becoming saviors to our world here. Yes, it is horrible of them and what they do to people--forcing them to do something, or killing their marked repossessions slowly and painfully. But if it weren't for them, I wouldn't have my sight, I would've never been in front of that store, and I would've never have met you. Let them do what they will, being blood traitors or whatnot…" There seemed to be a mysterious driving force behind these. No matter how much she disliked the Reapers, no matter how much she was regretting everything, she couldn't hate them, only herself.
"I do understand that I'm sending mixed signals here--yes, I do hate them, but I cherish them at the same time. But you must look at it from a recipients point of view. Transplants saved us, and even if we made a 'Devil's bargain' for our transplants, but we must also admit that with out them, we'd be dead or still 'broken'. They gave me a life even after everything was taken from me. Yes, I do regret what I did, because I feel that my choice for this took those that I loved away." She sighed. "Not only am I a Death Eater, but I am their employee as well Jack. I sing for them whenever they wish, it has been my life's dream for something like that. I don't want that taken from me as well…"

Jack shook his head, and he looked away from her. "What good they have done does not matter to me. My views are the same as my fathers, and he deffinately would not put up with them. Blood traitors deserve painfull deaths, and that is all. I will see to it that all mudbloods are imprisoned, and that all blood traiters be put to death. Nothing you say will change the way I see it. They are filthy vile creatures that are wasting the air that we the glorious breath. When I gain the alegence of the dementors you best believe that the reapers will be the first that I send them upon."
He was afraid that he would scare or upset her, but she had pressed upon a touchy subject with him. "I am happy to have met you, but should you not have your eye's it would not have changed anything. Blind or seeing we would be here all the same. The conversation just might be a bit different. As for your singing when the reapers are gone you can continue it, but you will be doing it under your own terms. You will be getting the money not them. I will make sure that you still have everything you hold dear with no limitations, and nothing holding you like that damned contract."
Jack stared into her eyes. He hoped that she would understand where he was coming from. He was a very proud person, and he was strong in his beliefs. They never wavered not for anything or anyone. "Soon the filth will be cleaned up, and when it is we will come out on top. You can be sure about that." Jack smirked. "No I am not going to be the new dark lord I do not intend to lead anyone nor do I intend to follow anyone. I work with the deatheaters not for them, and those who know of me know that to be true. The only reason I will have the dementors loyalty is because they were loyal only to my father, and they will be able to sense his blood in me."

Mag's eyes narrowed and seemed to literally glow. She knew there would be getting no through to him. He hadn't gone through what the rest of them had gone through. No one could understand what recipients went through. It was a fearful life, especially for her. Any decision she made could have her on the repossession list, including being here and being with him. So he was going to take out all the Muggle-borns and blood-traitors? Another list that she could be on, if the truth came out. Though being a Slytherin herself, Mag was raised with Muggles, and she was friends with them. Would she be on it if he knew? She didn't know. More fears for Mag to dream about. Dementors, creatures more vile then the ones they were talking about.
"I'm happy to have met you too…" she said quietly, but she remained silent after her sentence. If she were still blind, she wouldn't have ventured out into the world, well her mother wouldn't have let her at least. She wouldn't have been there. She didn't want to argue, so she just kept to herself, like she did before, like she always did. Mag wasn't one for arguing, and since there were no words that could help him see, she might as well not say anything at all. She was glad to have met him, happy, like she had said. But feelings from the past were being brought back, and she was fighting with herself.
She did understand, but she had her own opinions, something as a human being she was allowed, but as an employee, she did have those opinions about the company she worked for that were forced upon her. She sighed silently and took another sip of her fire whiskey. Suddenly the door opened, and there was a hooded figure standing there looking around. It took a while before it lowered the hood, and Mag clicked her eyes shut, and smiled. It was her liaison, which told Mag she had to leave, not now but soon. She then finished off the fire whiskey and grabbed the box. "Well, I'm sorry, but I must be on my way. Contact me anytime, if you wish. I live in the Tower, the ReaperCorps Headquarters…"
She started to get out of the booth, and the woman who was her companion came over to the table and bowed. Mag smiled and placed a hand on the shoulder to get up. She looked back at Jack. "I do trust that you can get past the filth of my company and come see me without any hesitation…" she said, a small smirk coming to her face.
