Robert had to take a second and think back. He couldn't immmediately remember how he found this place. "I discovered that Muggles really make the best pie," he started. "I was really on the hunt for a good place with good pie. Along the way, I found this place. I find a good place for pie to, it's just a small little hole-in-the-wall type of place but, they have the best pie in all of London." Robert hadn't even really eaten here. He happened to find it and made himself a little reminder of it and shoved it in the back of his head. Robert really did not have the opportunity to come here until. When she asked him for a recommendation, he had to to be honest with her. Looking at the menu, he didn't even know what to get himself, although that lamb chop was starting to sound good. "No, I never actually ate here. I sort of just walked by it and reminded myself to try it sometime when I got the chance," he confessed.
Robert reached forward and took hold of the wine list. It was really long, and Robert had no clue what the difference was in any of the different wines. It was all a bunch of garble to him. There was simply red or white to him, these different kinds just made no difference to him. Robert frowned at it and then set it back down, looking up at Milly. His eyes momentarily followed the neckline of her dress before flicking back up to her face. He smiled at her slightly, figuring she had probably picked up on his hint via that kiss earlier. "So," he said, making conversation to move his mind off her body and onto something else. "...what do friends talk about over dinner?" he asked. Robert did not have many, if any friends. Well, he did have one friend but, he was off in Russia doing Merlin knows what. Stirring up trouble there probably. The only reason they were friends was because they knew each other from their youth. They went to Hogwarts together, although Vhlad should have gone to Drumstrang, he didn't want to go to an all boy school. Robert could not blame him.
Friends, real friends, were hard for him to come by. He tried once, with an old friend, and he ended up sleeping with her. Robert could see he was doing the same with Milly now but, he wanted to be her friend. He needed a friend just as much as she did. All Robert had was his family, if he even had them anymore. It wasn't suppose to be like that, not this time, and that had him beyond fustrated. So, he moved on, sort of, to someone he could relate to and be friends with. Unfortunately, he ended up sleeping with Milly too. He only regretted it half as much as he probably should. Part of him did regret it and, the other part of him did not. Right now, the did not part was winning.

Milly couldn't help but smile and let out a small chuckle as Robert began to ramble on about pie. She could tell that he had some sort of love for pie because after all, who wold go through that much trouble to find the perfect pie? "I am guessing that you really like pie," Milly chuckled, her eyes moving from the menu and onto Robert. "I think you should get me some of that amazing pie you found sometime. I do enjoy it too," She finished, her smile never leaving her face. After she was finished speaking she let her eyes roam back to the menu. She listened as Robert explained that he never actually ate there before. That just made choosing what to eat all the more difficult. As she continued to look through the menu, she felt herself leaning more towards the steak with baked potatoes. Milly always loved to eat meat so it was no surprise that she would choose the steak.
"Well I am glad that you brought me with you for your first time eating here," Milly smiled. Deciding that she would get the steak, she closed her menu and placed it in front of her. She watched as Robert picked up the wine list and she decided to let him choose the wine. She always had a love for wine and was not really picky when it came to drinking different kinds. She was sure that whatever Robert would choose would be very tasty. "Did you decide on what to order yet?" Milly asked, curiosity getting the better of her. She then thought about how ironic it would be if they were to want to order the same thing. Would that be a sign that they were soul mates?
Milly couldn't help but laugh. "Well," she began, the same old smile still on her flawless face. "Friends usually talk about their day, things that are going on in their lives and of course gossip about others," she laughed again, her eyes locked with Robert's own. "So how has your day been?" She finished, another small little chuckle escaping her lips. Milly had a few friends, all of them girls, who she would go out to dinner with and gossip about other women they knew. She was not that close to them but they were people who she could pass the time with. She knew that with Robert it was different and she was able to talk about anything with him. She knew that this would be a nice change from having to always be perfect and never mess up like she often had to be around her 'friends'.

Robert nodded slightly. "I do really like pie, as of late. I suppose when I stopping drinking, I had to replace it with something else," he explained. A rather dirty thought passed through his head when she mentioned he should get her some of that pie from that place. Pie was usually topped with whipped cream, and there were certain non food related uses for whipped cream that passed through his head.
"Well, you're welcome," he said with a smile. Robert returned his gaze to the menus for a few moments more. It was hard to concentrate on food when that was the last thing on his mind at the moment. Robert shook his head at her question. "No...not about wine at least. I know abosolutely nothing about it," he paused. "...do you even like wine? I didn't think to ask." Well, that was nothing normal - Robert not asking about something. He, however, realized that there was a lot about Milly he didn't know. The way things were going, it looked like he might be learning what those things were.
Robert mouthed an 'oh' and nodded slightly as she explained. So that's what friends did these days. He shrugged at her question. "Not all that great. I really did absolutely nothing. My house was pretty empty which was fine..since I had a lot of thinking to do about...stuff," he said. Robert disliked this sort of thought. He never was one to have warm and fuzzy conversations often. He usually left out most of the detail, like he just did. Robert was about to ask Milly the same question when their waiter showed up.
----waiter takes orders, blah, blah, blah; noms food blah, blah blah-----
After they had eaten their fill, their plates were filled. The check was brought out, and Robert paid and ended up being a bit generous with the kid's tip before standing up. "Have room left for some pie?" he asked her, offering her his arm once again. Milly did say, rather than ask for him to get her some. So, he was going to bring Milly to the pie, and then take her home. Well, take her to his little apartment. Taking her home home, well, that would only end in disaster.
