Is it cold? {Gabby}

Alex has been sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room all day long. He was getting very bored, so he decided to go outside to the beautiful grounds of Hogwarts. Since he probably wouldn't have anything to do outside either he grabbed his guitar, which was a dark blue that faded out into black at the edges. He took the guitar by its neck and left his common room. He was wearing his dark blue jeans, with a black shirt that faded white at the side. He also had a black jacket on since it was February, and it was pretty cold outside.

It didn't take the Gryffindor too long to get to the bottom of the magical staircase, it was acting quiet nicely today. It stayed right were Alex needed for them to be so he could get down. When the door was opened, the teen was greeted by very light snow. It seemed as if it only started moments after he left his own common room. This didn't really put off the lion. Since he was used to all kinds of weathers, living in London weather changed pretty fast.

There weren't many people outside, maybe it was because people found that it was still too cold for their taste. Alex didn't judge, all he did was walk forward. He kept walking until he finally reached the edge of the lake. Edges of the lake were still frozen slightly, the ice would break even if someone carefully touched it. Alex scanned the scenery, it was absolutely gorgeous. The Gryffindor dropped down on a boulder that was just behind him, and began to play one of the first songs that he learned on guitar.

Gabriella was bored she had just gotten away from her cousin Louis where she had just had a little immature tantrum. She needed some fresh air a little time out of the castle might calm her down. She stepped out of the castles doors feeling the cold wind hit her face blowing her hair all around her it felt nice. It was also snowing she loved snow she remembered when she was a little girl and they were at her Grandma Molly’s and all of them, even the adults would have a giant snowball fight then they would go inside and enjoy hot cocoa. Thinking of this made gabby more homesick than she already was. Then that’s when gabby heard something she liked …. Music. But where was it coming from gabby walked on following the melody of a guitar. Now she heard singing. It was Alex, she had never really spoken to him but she knew of him. Gabriella didn’t know if she should say anything. She felt shy all of the sudden but she took a few steps closer. Trying to be quiet so as not to distract him she sat down a few paces from him and listened. He had a great voice and it calmed her. She closed her eyes and let the music fill her with serenity.

As Alex played one of his first and favorite songs, he heard someone sneak up on him. They didn't come up to close, it seemed they didn't want to disturb the Gryffindor. He was guessing it was a female. But he wasn't absolutely sure, so he decided to make a very bold move. First he had to finish his song, so it wouldn't seem as if he knew that she was there. It took him another minute to finish, when he did. He waited about five seconds before launching into another one.

This song he actually wrote, but he usually plays it on his electric guitar, so it was a bit strange to play it on a different type of guitar since they had totally different sounds. But he had to try. The name of the song was What's your Name. He wrote this song about a year ago when he was a second year. It was by far one of his favorite songs. This was his second or third song he wasn't sure himself. Since he wrote many songs in his free time. He was hoping to catch the attention of the person that was beside him. Alex considered this as a very brave yet not such a smart move. This could totally back fire somehow, he wasn't sure how. But life has messed around with him before, so he wasn't going to underestimate it.

Gabby jerked her eyes open when he changed the song she didn't know if he knew she was their or if it was just a coincidence. She didn’t want to interrupt but gabby let mischief side get the best of her so instead she got up hoping he wouldn’t stop and went to sit beside him. She smiled shyly he was actually cute thinking of this Gabby’s checks turned real red hoping he wouldn’t notice and think it was the cold. He had pretty eyes too. She looked out over the lake it was frozen. She was glad the giant squid scared the hell out of her she hated that thing. Every time she thought of it she had a drowning sensation like she was being pulled to the bottom of the lake. She shook the feeling away and listened to Alex sing he numbed her pain. Gabriella had always wanted to learn to play the guitar maybe she’ll ask him to teach her one day. She knew of another musician in Hogwarts. Kale a fellow Ravenclaw who wasn’t from around here he had a Country American accent. She wondered if Kale knew Alex. She was starting to wish she had brought her jacket even though she was wearing long sleeves, she shivered but didn’t want to get up she was to comfortable. She looked at him leaning back and stretching her legs out in front of her crossing at the ankles it felt good letting the wind play with her hair.

As the Gryffindor played his song, he closed his eyes for second. When he opened there was someone sitting beside him. He looked to right, and he saw one of the beautiful girls he had ever seen in his life. Her sapphire eyes shined, as he looked at them. He didn't stop of course until the whole song was finished. Was he lucky or what, it was the perfect move to play his song. After finishing he looked over at the Ravenclaw and smiled, he thought that it was a bit strange that this happened.

He noticed her shivering, so of course he had to do something about this. He gently laid his guitar onto the grass and took off his black jacket. He then covered the girl with it, he didn't pick his guitar back up again. He felt more shy then comfortable, since he wasn't that smooth with th girls. He was thinking of picking up his guitar and playing another song, but he didn't wanna seem as if thats all that he was able to do. Alex wanted to say something but he felt as if someone had just glued his mouth together, and he couldn't open it. So all he did was look out at the lake.

He had stopped playing. He had saw her shivering because now gabby was wearing his jacket. She blushed. "I’m Gabriella Weasley but most call me gabby" she looked into his eyes and smiled sweetly “so what year are you in? I’m a fourth year" Gabby was looking at his reactions but he still hadn't said anything so she closed her mouth looking down. She didn't want to say too much because once she got going it was almost impossible to stop her. Gabriella wondered if he was going answer her at all. She felt her cheeks burning red again. He was so cute but all he could do was stare. Gabriella thought she would ask another question looking at his guitar. “I’ve always wanted to play a guitar, Maybe you could teach me” she said hoping this would get him to speak. She smiled again. Gabriella thought about how he was staring at her it made her feel shy. Maybe he was feeling shy too she wondered. She sighed taking in the cold air it felt good to be out here to be able to collect her thoughts. “It’s so beautiful out here” she wondered out loud. Gabby leaned her head back.

She had finally spoke, she just told him her name. I'm Alex, he answered. The Gryffindor was beginning to feel less shy now, since they started to talk. It was always easier when you talk to someone instead of just staying silent. Always awkward when nobody talks, those moments, Alex was sure nobody liked especially him. I'm a third year, he informed her after she told him that she was a fourth year. There wasn't a big age difference between them. It seemed that Gabriella took a liking to his guitar. She clearly enjoyed listening to music.

When Alex looked at her once more, she looked so cute. The gryffindor looked away then because he didn't want to make her feel awkward by staring at her. When she spoke to him again, he turned his head to wards her. I could he said acting more confident with each moment. When he her smile, it made him to show his bright teeth, with his own smile. He turned away at this moment to look back at the lake. He thought he had a stupid smile. He was beginning to feel a bit more shy than he was earlier, he wasn't sure why this time. Maybe it was because he wasn't sure what he should say. He heard her talk once again, yeah he replied softly. Slowly he reached for his guitar, he thought for a couple of seconds before beginning to play the very first song that he ever wrote. He was pretty young when he wrote this so it probably sounded a bit weird. But he liked it non the less. The name of the son is Beautiful Soul.

Finally Gabriella thought he was talking so he can speak she smiled. He smiled at her he had a gorgeous smile gabby looked down playing with her fingers. She looked up her eyes shining he had started to play another song and this one was sweet. She listened to the lyrics they were for a girl. Hmmm she wondered if he had a girlfriend. She felt a tinge of jealousy what was wrong with her. She sighed she hardly knew him but already she liked him. He was sweet and he a great voice. Gabby was happy for the first time in all history of her fourth year.... she was happy. Gabby scooted a little closer to him smiling. She wanted to stay out here forever just to listen to him play. Gabriella looked into his eyes as he sung she felt giddy. She started to twirl her fingers in her absentmindedly closing her eyes and feeling the melody take control of her. It felt good to actually be out of that mad castle and on the soothing grounds. She wished they were in the same house that way they could spend more time together. Gabby looked up at him her eyes sparkling with overjoyment.

All Alex had to do was play music and a girl that was older than him was already falling for him. This had never happened before, but he was a good musician. Well better than most, since not a lot of people really knew how to even play a guitar. As he sang and played the song, he kept taking quick glances at Gabriella but he was trying to make them look like accidents. At one point he saw her moving in closer to him, a smile formed on his face as he kept singing. The song was almost over, but Alex decided to finish it off by singing the chorus of the song once more just to keep it going. Almost instantly after finishing he looked at Gabby, she was already looking up at him, her eyes were still amazing. And she was still as beautiful as an angel. He wasn't sure what he should do at this point, since they are both looking each other in the eyes. It seemed so romantic.

Gabriella's heart was beating ninety miles an hour they were looking into each others eyes Gabby did what her heart told her to do she did it fast so she couldn't stop herself. She kissed him. She stopped and relized what she had done but secretly she didnt regret it not one bit "I'm so sorry" she said then she looked down she didn't know how he was going to take this. She felt she had pushed her luck.. Oh God hes gonna hate me she thought. Gabby kept her head down waiting for his reaction.

As Alex sat there gazing at the eyes of one of the most beautiful women he has ever met. But he was stuck with one choice, he could eiter kiss her or just look away. Since he took too long, it appeared that Gab decided to choose for him. She had leaned in and kissed him, the Gryffindor was dumbstruck and didn't have time to kiss her back or even do anything. When she pulled away, all the boy did was stare at her with suprise. He didn't knw what to do at all. She had caught him completely by surprise. He was able to see that she wasn't proud of what she just did. He even heard her apologise, why in the world did she do that. Alex slowly put his guitar down, so he didn't break it or damage it in any way because that was the first and only accoustic guitar that he owned.

After letting his guitar touch the ground, he turned his attention back to the female that was sitting beside him. I'm not mad he informed her, he hoped that she wouldn't be too shy now. He brought his hands up to the chin of the Ravenclaw, and gently lifted her face up so she would face him. If she let him do this action, he would lean in and kiss her. He was hoping that she wouldn't mind.

He said he wasent mad he pulled her face back up to look at him she bit her lip and looked back into his eyes she felt like jello at this moment stomach full of butterflies he was so adorable she couldn't help it. She felt like this was a dream like how in the world could this be happening. This morning she had to deal with peeves in the north tower, then had to deal with him again because of her cousin who loved to pull pranks and pissed peeves off who ended up taking it out on her with water balloons. then had a total hissy fit in the corridor. Then she comes out here and it turns into a fairytale. Aren't bad days usually suppose to get worse not better? she thought. She was so happy that she wasn’t going to let bad thoughts ruin this perfect moment. She took a deep breath. Maybe she was going to be happy at hogwarts after all. She closed her eyes hoping he would kiss her back she could feel her stomach flutter in excitement her breathing was picking up in pace and her heart felt like it was going to jump right out of her chest.

After Alex told Gabby that he wasn't angry, it seemed she had become more happier. This seemed like a good sign for the Gryffindor, so he decided to take another chance. Before the girl could do anything he had kissed her. As he did so, he felt as he had the day when he was accepted in to Hogwarts. His emotions were sky high, and he hoped that the girl opposite of him had felt the same way. After several seconds he pulled away slowly. His face had turned comepletely red, "sorry" he whispered as he looked down. He didn't realize that he had just done that exact same thing that Gabby done to him earlier. He wasn't sorry at all for what he had done, but he thought if he said this she wouldn't be angry at him.

Gabriella felt his lips touch hers then he had pulled away. He had said the same thing as her. Gabby put her lips back to his throwing her arms around his and whispered "Im not mad. repeating his words she started kissing him again hoping he would kiss her back and not push her away. She had never really kissed a boy and never knew it could feel so wonderful. It made her have an adrenaline rush that she accidently knocked them over now she had landed on top of him she laughed. she smiled at him. then asked a very bold question she wasn't going to take the risk of losing him. "You wanna go out with me" she said it slowly then smiled she really felt like today had been a fairytale. She used to believe those things didn't exist like muggle's thought magic and unicorns didn't exist. but they did and so did true love .. she leaned down and kissed him again.

This had really felt like De já vu, everything had just repeated. As the Gryffindor once more felt the soft lips of the beautiful Ravenclaw on his own, he felt as if he was up in heaven. He was returning the kisses that he was given, he had no intentions on pulling away. He hoped that she wasn't thinking about pushing him away either. Since the teen was a bit shy around females he never had kissed one before, so he wasn't quite sure if he was doing it right, Gabriella seemed to be enjoying it so he assumed that he didn't screw up yet. It seemed that Gabby was getting a bit excited and she began to lean into Alex a bit more, so the Gryffindor wasn't able to keep balance and fell off the boulder that both of them were on. It ended up with Alex being on the snow with Gabby on top of him. She laughed, this made the teen laugh silently also. This seemed very strange, the boys mother used to always tell him fairy tales when he was a small kid. He never really believed in them, he never thought that there was such a thing as love at first sight and stuff like that. At this point in his life, he was proved wrong. Moments after both of them fell down to the ground, he heard her voice. She just asked a question that forced Alex to go scarlet in the face. He was expecting this but he wasn't ready at all. Umm...Yes he said sounding a bit nervous, but he tried to sound as if he was sure with his answer. And he was he just wasn't really prepared. After his answer, Gabrielle leaned down to kiss him. Alex lift his head up a bit. As they both kissed kissed once more, it made the teen feel as if he was in heaven once more. Once they were finished the Gryffindor's head dropped on to the snow. Wow.. he whispered as he looked up at the Ravenclaw.
