Gabriel was happy to see his mom walk Violet down the hall and to the last room. It was nice to know that his mother would accept Violet despite where she was at this time. His mother had the biggest heart he knew of, and she was also very smart. He admired her and hoped that Violet would see that his mother was just caring and loving to anyone he told his parents great things about. She had seemed a little wary to go with his mother, but things would be sorted out for themselves. He walked over to the stairs and decided to go change as well. He smelt like the perfumes of too many women in the brothel and he wanted to be dressed crisp for dinner. Gabriel's mother, Bella, smiled as she closed the door quietly and then looked over at Violet. "My name is Bella. I am sorry I did not introduce myself sooner. Now... How about a skirt and blouse?" she asked her. Bella seemed to be about the same size as Violet so she smiled at her and then opened her wardrobe. She pulled out a summery yellow blouse and a white skirt that would fall to below Violet's knees. "You can take off your shoes too, we do not require shoes in the house." she laughed lightly and laid the clothes out on the large four-poster bed for Violet. "I will be in the living room where you arrived. Take your time getting ready, and there's a bathroom just on your right." She smiled kindly and then slipped out, leaving Violet in the Master Bedroom to change and wash up. Meanwhile, Gabriel had made it to his room on the third floor over-looking the orchard and had changed into something a little less formal than he had been wearing. It was nice and warm outside still and forgot that the timezone had changed. Their night would be shorter because they were ahead of England by a few hours. He frowned at the thought and told the maid to prepare the guest room for Violet if she wanted to have a night of rest, and if his father would not let her return.. He returned downstairs to see his mother waiting there and she smiled at him. They began to talk about how Gabriel found Violet and he told his mother that she was being forced to work there by the three men that own the brothel. Violet did not look a day over seventeen and he hated to think of her there every day, forced to have sex with unruly men, and probably the owners as well. Just then his father poked in and undid his tie and took off his coat. He told him that he had heard the whole thing and was ready to kill some men. Gabriel shook his head and told his father they had to be smart about this. His father agreed, cursing in Russian, and then put on his thinking look as he set his coat on the couch and left his tie undone. As proper as a man, his father took leisure time to the full extent at the home. He smiled as his dad thought a bit and then dinner was prepared and outside. He smiled and told his parents to wait out there and he would wait for Violet. _________ words: 569 outfit: here (minus the coats - just a t-shirtnotes: a long post for a long-awaited post =)

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Violet quickly understood there was nothing to be afraid of, nothing to worry about. And she was afraid of men not women, right? Of course she knew that females could hurt too, for example one of the ex-girlfriends of Blaze Dolohov while Vi was at her fourth year. Just about two months before finals and the end of a school year Blaze Dolohov charmed her with his smile and sweet words, showed his interest in her. He seduced her somehow using his tricks. She really thought he liked her as a person she was, not only her so-called beauty and fine body. And he tricked her to his bed. It was what he really wanted out of her. What more he was dating some other Slytherin girl that time but Vi didn't know that. She didn't know he was actually cheating on her. Knowing Blaze you shouldn't be surprised but the girl's anger hadn't been laid on him but Violet. She was so furious that she hexed poor Vi and spread the word about her being a whore and all that jazz. And Blaze didn't deny it. No one really believed Violet's words. No one really wanted to believe the truth. No one really wanted to talk to her. Well it was what she thought. She closed herself up on people, cried all days and nights, sometimes even on classes. She passed her finals well because she worked hard the whole year but there was no day till the end of the school year that she didn't cried or tried to hide from the world. She thought that everyone just showed her a cold shoulder, that she had no one.
Violet followed Gabriel’s mother into the room. She remained silent and just looked around the place. The room looked so nice, so cosy. It was a bedroom but it looked so different than the room she spent over two months in and sixteen year old felt comfortable. She still held a blanked around her body when Gabriel’s mother spoke up again. She introduced herself to her and even apologized she didn’t do it earlier. Violet didn’t mind it. She still felt a little out of place and awkward appearing at someone’s manor uninvited, from such a place as brothel and wearing skimpy attire. She smiled appreciatively and nodded. Anything was better than what she was wearing. "Doesn’t matter, anything will be fine. Thank you, madam." she was grateful for any help and that Bella could actually understand her speaking. When she mentioned something about shoes Violet looked down at those she was wearing. Red high-heels of a whore. Vi winced from disgust and sadness. Mix of that was a pain for her. But she looked up at the woman before her and forcing a smile onto her face she nodded to confirm she will do that. When Bella finished her last words Violet smiled a full smile and thanked her once again.
A girl stood in the same place just for a little while yet. She took clothes and a towel she’s been given into the bathroom and set them somewhere it couldn’t get wet. The bathroom was amazing. She had never seen a room like that. Even prefects bathroom at Hogwarts didn’t look that nice and like it cost an arm and a leg. She looked at herself in a mirror and frowned. She looked awful in her opinion. There was nothing wrong in the make up but what she had put on looked horribly sluttish. Vi took of a blanket and folded it then walked back into the bedroom and set in on a bed. She took the heels off and let out a breath of relief. Those shoes were killing her feet. She walked back into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She looked at her reflection in the mirror again and removed faked eyelashes. She threw them in a little bin she spotted next to the toilet. She didn’t want to do the mess in the house of the family that was willing to help her. It would be so rude. She took off the underwear she wore and walked into the shower stall. She took a shower and dried herself with a towel. She had to put that underwear back on but she didn’t mind this time. Now she had clothes to put on and cover it. She smiled at the thought. She put that beautiful blouse and skirt on. They fitted pretty well. She looked at herself and turned around on her bare foot happily. She just unfolded wet towel so it could dry and left the bathroom. She left the bedroom as well and headed to the living-room her and Gabriel apparated in. She was amazed. That house was huge but she remembered the way to the living-room well. A very nice smile curved her lips as she saw Gabriel in there. "Hi."_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ TAG(S); Gabriel <3 WORDS; 829? It was not often that Gabriel felt this way about a girl. In fact... this was the first time he had felt this way about any girl. Sure, he had a few crushes here and there, but nothing compared to the way he felt about Violet. And he knew that he would wait for her to come to him if she ever wanted to be with him. He was patient. He knew that much. And he was apparently a lot more than that, according to his parents and cousins. He smiled at the thought and would write to them soon to come for a dinner and ball. It had been far too long since he had seen them and it was important to him to keep in touch with family and friends. Because, what soul wanted to be alone in a world like this?
He shook that thought from his mind as Violet came walking down the hall in a bright yellow blouse and a white skirt that fell below her knees: she looked like sunshine, and it matched the smile she was wearing: bright and beautiful. He smiled at her as she said a little 'hi' and he held out his arm motioning to the back deck through the double French doors. It would probably be their last dinner outside as winter was coming quick. "You look stunning, Violet." he commented as they walked out to the deck and his father stood up with a glass of wine in one hand and his other held up just because. He greeted her with a warm smile.
"Ahh Ms. Violet! What a wonderful guest to have dine with us! Come, come my dear and sit." he stood and Gabriel pulled out a chair between him and his mother, and the opposite end from his father. The men would sit once she was seated.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Violet didn’t know what else to say than one simple ‘hi’. Her thoughts were around only the one subject, of how grateful she was for that everything. She didn’t remember where was the last time she wore something less revealing than what she had to wear in the brothel. She didn’t really remembered when she smiled so much and had so much hope to be and stay happy finally. Though, she didn’t want to take advantage of how good those people were. She didn’t want to be so much dependent on them. They already did so much for her and she had nothing to show how grateful she was and how much she appreciated that. She didn’t think that a bright smile and simple ‘thank you’ were enough. If only there was something she could do for them…
Gabriel smiled at her and held his arm out. Vi looked at the door and linked her arm with his before they walked out. His comment made her blush but it didn’t wipe a smile out of her face. First time since the kidnapping she didn’t mind looking good in man’s eyes. "Thank you. Your mother deserves credit." she replied to his compliment. She was a little bit surprised seeing an adult man there. But she thought it must have been Gabriel’s father. He even looked similar. But she was more surprised of why he stood up greeting her so warmly and happily. She was rather unlooked-for and uninvited quest in her opinion. But she curtsied politely smiling at the man. "Thank you, sir. It’s pleasure to meet you, Mr. Drowskowski." Violet didn’t know if she said the name correctly. It was a bit hard with her English accent. She didn’t know how too act but she didn’t want to look thankless either. She looked at Gabriel as he pulled a chair out for her. When was the last time she was treated so well? It seemed like ages even though she spent only about two and half moths in that horrible place. But there time seemed different. Vi sat down in a chair held out for her and thanked Gabriel turning her head to face him. She gave him another smile. Then she looked at Gabriel’s mother, Bella. "Much obliged for the attire, madam. It fits pretty well."_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ TAG(S); Gabriel <3 WORDS; 390? ): LYRICS; Whisper by Evanescence OUTFIT; yellow blouse and white skirt NOTES; none CREDITS; lisathecat of CAUTION 2.0!

Gabriel could see that she was a little nervous, and he did not blame her: his parents were very old fashioned and sometimes very forward when it came to meeting new people. But they were just excited that he had finally brought a girl home, he assumed. He scooted her chair in and sat down next to her as he looked over at his father and began to chat in Russian, telling him the situation. His mother smiled at Violet and nodded, reaching out and patting her hand gently a couple times. "You are more than welcome. You can keep those if you would like. They suit you very well, my dear," she stated. She thanked the butler as he poured the tea for her and then he poured for Violet and followed by the men.
Gabriel looked at Violet and smiled at her. "My father would love to help you out of where you are. But we may need to make a performance out of it." he stated and then took a sip of his tea and took a bite of a small bagel with salmon and cream cheese on it. He loved them so much, he might just fill up on them before dinner. He set it down and his father asked him something in Russian. He nodded and then looked to Violet again. "My father was wondering if you would like to stay here for a while after we get you out to just settle...?" The three of them stopped and looked at her, a kind smile and stare on their face.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Violet barely ate anything since the first rape she experienced. It just took her appetite away. She’s been spending most of her time crying, hiding from others, trying to avoid wizards she feared. She just didn’t feel hungry at all. She accustomed her stomach to small meals so it didn’t lust for food. She got used to that so there was no problem with what and how little she got to eat everyday spent in the brothel. She simply didn’t need much. And now looking at the dinner made for them she felt a little sad because she wasn’t hungry. She got some food before and she didn’t need more. Yet, she didn’t want to offend these good people. They invited her for dinner, greeted her so politely and warmly with open arms. They wanted to help her. They did everything for her to feel like home there. Maybe she could try to eat something…
Vi smiled a kind and thankful smile at Bella. That gentle pat of her hand on hers was another touch that troubled girl didn’t mind. It was comforting. She thought that she would be like automatically pulling away. What she heard from Gabriel’s mother was the nicest thing she heard since the drama had begun. But who was Violet to take a gift like that? But then again she didn’t dare to say no to the woman that showed so much heart to her. She blushed a little smiling brighter. "That’s a huge thing. I don’t know if I can..." she paused because she realized she had nothing else to wear. She didn’t know if her clothes were still at her father’s house or if the house was still there since Mr. Baudelaire has been murdered. "Thank you, madam." Violet saw the butler pouring tea for her. She looked at him with no small amount of surprise but also gratitude. She thanked him with a smile not even daring to ask for milk. She usually drank tea with milk but it’s been a while since she drank it last time. She took a glass and lifted it to her lips then sipped it. Ah tea, her father liked it so much.
And she would probably be deep in thoughts now and in progress all in tears again, if Gabriel didn’t spoke up motioning to her. Vi set the teacup back on the table still holding it though, and turned her head to Gabriel to look at him. "Help me out of there? I dream about nothing else." she said trying not to sound too excited. She was happy there were people who cared who wanted to help her and wanted nothing in return. A girl took another sip of the tea while her guardian angel took a bite of… what was that word? Oh yes, bagel. She didn’t eat them in ages. And then she heard Gabriel’s voice again. A smile disappeared from her pretty face but only because she didn’t know what to say. She felt a little pressure when three of them looked at her. It was huge of them. They did so much already. But she had nowhere to go. She had no place in the world. Yes, she had to go back to Hogwarts but she wasn’t ready. She’s been through too much as for her fragile heart and soul to show up suddenly after pretty noted absence. Gabriel's heart was actually pounding a million miles an hour. The time they waited to hear what she would say to their offer was super intense. He waiting, scooting to the edge of his seat, waiting to hear what she would say. His father saw him and winked at him and Gabriel relaxed a bit. His father knew him almost too well. He sighed lightly and smiled brightly when he heard her say that she did not know if she could be because she did not want to be a burden. His father laughed lightly and shook his head as he took a sip of his wine. "My dear.... We have never had a burden in our lives. And I doubt that you would be one. I insist-- no. I want you to stay here as a part of the family to get your life back together. And I want you to stay and take your time... weather it be a week to a year. If Gabriel says you are the woman you are, we have no problem with you in our house hold."
Gabriel smiled at his dad and quietly thanked him genuinely in Russian and then looked over at his mom whom looked to be almost as excited as he was. He guessed it was because she was excited that there would be another girl in the house and she wouldn't have to converse with the cat for feminine communication. He looked down the table at her and smiled brightly... there was so much more than met this eye with this girl, and he wanted to learn every thing there ever was to know about this girl...
"So what do you say, Vi?" Gabriel asked her gently. Just as he has spoken to her when they first met in the Room of Requirement and shared so many nights together playing music and not even knowing the others name. Well... Look how far they have come.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Another blush got onto her face as she finished her respond. It deepened when she heard Gabriel’s father laugh. But his words made her smile softly. They really wanted her there. They really didn’t think she was a burden to them. She had no family and now got a chance to have one again. Words couldn’t express how happy she was. After all bad things that have happened to her she was experiencing everything good. She sighed happily and smiled. It was nice to hear the nickname Gabriel used asking her for her final answer. She nodded her head lightly looking at him.
”Alright, I will stay. Thank you.” she looked at the three of them. ”Thank you all of you.” happiness visible in her eyes and on her face. Gabriel's smile held every word he could ever think of how excited and happy he was to have her accept. She thanked him and then all of them. His parents raised their glasses and Gabriel's mom blessed her in Hebrew. He knew that she was as much as part of this family now as he had ever been. And he asked for nothing in return, other than her safety and her happiness. There was no life for her back in the Brothel... nothing that wouldn't make her feel dead and unimportant.
He watched as she reached across the table cloth towards him and he gently, and lovingly, placed his hand on hers and clasped it lightly in between his hands. He looked at her and smiled lightly. He knew that there would be a long time before she would want to be touched any other way than that between friends and family, and he fully understood that. He let his bottom hand slip out from under her fragile hands and raised his glass to her, and tipped it up to his lips, smiling and looking at her.
"Welcome." His father said to her.
