The past month had been a living hell for Kelsey. She had been through something that no girl in their entire life should have to deal with. She was raped, multiple times, and was used as a sex slave. All of this had been done by none other than Jack Riddle. She felt so used and violated. She thought that she would never escape that bloody vault. However, her father came to rescue her. She never felt so much love for him as she did when she saw that he had came for her. Together they left that vault and Kelsey's nightmare.
After a few days of recuperation, Kelsey was back at school. She knew people were talking about her and saying things but she didn't care. She was just happy to be alive. Kelsey walked the halls, avoiding gazes from everyone. She was rather jumpy, having been taken against her will and scared it would happen again. If someone would even look at her suspiciously, Kelsey would draw her wand and run away. The poor girl was on her nerves and hated it. Of course you too would be on your nerves if you were raped daily for a month. She had even missed her birthday because she was kidnapped.
Kelsey wanted to be on her own so badly but couldn't be. Her father was constantly two feet away from her. He was even more scared that something would happen to her again. Then there was James. He would not leave her side unless forced. She loved that everyone was looking out for her but she also needed her space. She was scared to be alone though. The last time she was alone in the castle was when she was kidnapped. She just wished that she could forget all of this and move on with her life.
Now that a week or so passed by Kelsey was starting to get better. She really just wanted everything to go back to the way it was before. James had been really supportive and always provided a shoulder for her to cry on. It was tough though. Somehow word had got out about her being raped and everyone was gossiping about her and giving her sympathetic looks wherever she went. It was beginning to become maddening for her. Kelsey kept that brave smile on her face though and held her head up high. She knew she would be better in time, if only she would stop having dreams about the event.
Class had just let out for the students and Kelsey left her History of Magic class with a tired look on her face. She had told James not to wait up for her today because she needed to talk to her father. See, Kelsey and James needed to leave campus for the day because they were going apartment hunting. Now, she knew her father wouldn't be too thrilled with her moving out so young to live with her husband and decided to save James from being blown up and forbid him to come along. Kelsey really didn't know how her father would take all of this. After all, she was his only daughter and the thought of her leaving home after everything that went on probably scared him. They were closer than ever now that they almost lost each other. Truth be told, Kelsey was scared of leaving her father also. She always felt so safe when he was around and now that she would be living somewhere else for the summer it scared her. But she knew in order to move on with her life and grow she needed to do this.
Kelsey stood in front of the door to her father's office, contemplating on walking in or not. The last time she had been in this office was the time where she had caught him having sex with Adrienne. Boy Kelsey really wished she hadn't have seen that. It was a position that no daughter should be forced to see her father it. Shivering any thoughts of her father and his sexual behavior out of her head, Kelsey stood frozen before the door. Taking a deep breath, She finally gained the courage to turn the knob and opened the door.
"Dad?" Kelsey said, walking into the room and shutting the door behind her. She looked around and to her displeasure saw no sign of her father anywhere. He must have been lurking around the castle somewhere or maybe he went home to see mum. Kelsey knew that he would probably be back soon so she began to look around the office. The portraits of the Headmasters were back up, to her surprise. Her father must have gotten desperate and needed advice. Kelsey smiled to each of them as they floated around their painting, trying to get a look at her, each of the whispering to another. Merlin knows what they knew about her. They probably knew everything that went on, just like the students in Hogwarts, and were gossiping about her. Shrugging it off, Kelsey's eyes landed upon her father's huge leather chair behind his desk. Oh how she wanted to sit on that ever since he got the job. Seeing it was her golden opportunity, a smile arose on Kelsey's face as she ran and sat in the chair. Kelsey began to make herself comfortable, Her short body barely filling the chair.
"Oh look at me! I am the Headmistress of Hogwarts! Everyone shall bow down to me! You're fired and you, rub my feet, they are getting sore and if you dare disobey me it will be off with your head!" Kelsey joked, pretending to be in charge. As she spoke she pointed to random open areas, pretending there was people there. Kelsey really hadn't been able to let her abnormal personality out lately and it felt good just to sit back and have some fun. She let a small giggle escape her lips as she placed her feet up on her father's desk and her hands behind her head, closing her eyes and imagining what it would be like to run this school.

Over the past month, the constant need and want to drink was looming in Robert's head. His son had nearly been killed, his daughter was kidnapped and raped many times, and he went and saved her, he had an unpleasant visit from Jack Lestrange Riddle and...oh yes, his eldest son, Anton - fucking joined that mother fucker. The night of Jack's visit, Robert didn't care what was coming out of the man's mouth - he didn't trust him. He had a sinking feeling that when Anton joined Jack, that this was going to be good.
Sure, he promised to leave the family alone and what not, make Anton more powerful or whatever but, Robert didn't believe one word of it. It was just a bunch of bullshit in Robert's mind. More than anything, he was afraid of losing his son. What if, Jack turned him into some monster and the Anton they knew was forever lost? That would ultimately kill Robert. It was a miracle he hadn't died already. He should be dead. Jack should have killed him while he had the chance. Now, Robert was hell bent on finding a way to take Lestrange down.
Robert never took days to recooperate. Sure, he had quite a few injuries from rescuing Kelsey and what not and he did have them checked out. He, however, wasn't going to lie around the house or even St. Mungo's for a few days. No, instead he was going to go back to Hogwarts. He wanted to protect Hogwarts from Jack taking it over, since he couldn't protect his son. Plus, he had Kelsey to worry about, as she returned to school as well.
For the first few days, Robert never left her alone. He pretty much followed her around, and wouldn't let her out of his sight for longer than a few hours while she was in class. Robert had lost her once, and he wasn't about to do it again. He couldn't protect Anton but, he could protect Kelsey and Vince. They were what he had left - and Mandy, too. Robert felt he had already lost Anton, and he wasn't about to lose anymore of the people he loved the most.
Today, Robert crumbled to his thirst for alcohol. He put in a order for the good stuff from his Russian friend. It was arriving in Hogsmeade, since no owl could carry such a load. He left Hogwarts grounds, apparating to the post office in Hogsmeade. He picked up his rectangular package, and apparated back to the grounds. It was long walk from the entrance gate to his office on the second floor. He was sure that Kelsey History of Magic class was probably out already, guessing as he glanced at his watch.
During this long walk, Robert had time to think about what taking a drink from that bottle meant. For one, it was extremely stupid. Secondly, he would be breaking his promise to his family. Robert had broken this promise once already, and he didn't want to do it again. He was in pain. Really, really, bad pain. He felt like he'd lost his son, even though he was still alive and well. It was a pain that words can't even describe. It was something Robert wasn't sure he could keep living with. If he just had a drink, or two, or twenty - that pain would go away for a little while.
His head was swimming with all these morality checks until he reached his office door. It was slightly ajar, the latch hadn't closed. A jolt of cold fear hit Robert. He immediately expected Jack to be sitting all smugly in there. Robert gently pushed the door open slightly so he could peak in. He smiled, seeing Kelsey sitting at his desk, and had only heard her giggle. Robert's smile faded, remembering what was in his package in his hands. He instantly felt a tidal wave of guilt hit him.
Robert knew he couldn't tell Kelsey what was in his box wrapped in brown paper was. He knew she would ask. Robert would just have to deflect, use a "hogwarts business" excuse. Then, that would be a lie. He promised not to do that anymore either. He was up shit creek without any paddles. Robert sighed, you might as well just tip over your canoe now. He pushed open the door, pretending to be surprise to find Kelsey sitting at his desk, looking quite comfortable there. A small smile returned to his face, and he closed the door behind him.
He didn't want to interrupt Kelsey. She looked...slightly happy and she needed that. He didn't want to disrupt her. It was, however, inevitable. Robert wasn't about to stand around his office all day and wait for Kelsey to come out of her wonderland in his chair. "Not pretending to be me, I hope," Robert said warmly, setting his box on his desk. That was a rather stupid move but, his mind hadn't really been on that at that moment.

Kelsey was surprised that with everything that had happened to her since the beginning of March, she had not resorted to going back to alcohol. She had not let a drop of the amazing drink past her lips since that day at her house with her father and mother. Now, more than ever before, she found herself craving a drink. Whenever she would wake up in a cold sweat from her nightmares she would reach under her bed for the tall bottle of vodka that she hid there, only to remember that she had threw it out. She would sometimes find herself daydreaming about having a drink during class. However, despite the temptations, Kelsey had stayed sober for two months and was proud.
Kelsey began to drift off into her own little world as she sat in her father's chair. For once she had forgot about her problems and was going back to her insane, imaginative self. She wished she could be like this all of the time. She really did miss how she used to be. However, Kelsey's thoughts were interrupted by her father speaking. Kelsey opened her eyes and smiled, taking her legs off of the desk and sitting upright in the chair.
"Well I wasn't pretending to be you in particular. Just pretending to be in charge of the school. Admit it, the power that comes with being Headmaster must be incredible. I sometimes forget that you have to run this entire school," Kelsey said as she looked around his office. She had never really looked at his office before. Besides the many pictures of the headmasters there were also pictures of her and her family. It made her smile to see that he had put more of them up than what there was before.
"So, when I walked out of History of Magic I was quite surprised not to find you lurking in the shadows waiting for me. The one time I actually wanted to find you there waiting and you weren't! I had even told James not to wait up for me because I wanted to talk to you alone. However, I figured you must have went home to see mum but judging by this package I suppose I was wrong," Kelsey said, looking at the package on the desk. Curiosity burned inside of her as she thought of what possibly could be inside of the brown wrapping. Was it school stuff, or maybe a present for her? She wanted to know but then feared to know at the same time. The last time she poked around her father's personal life she had found him fucking her friend. It could be a package of porn in the box for all she knew.
"So what is in this mysterious package?" Kelsey asked, her curiosity driving her every move. She hoped that it wasn't something that would cause her to be upset at her father. She really hated being angry at him and didn't want to get in a fight, especially since she was about to ask him if she could leave campus for a bit. She wanted him to be in a good mood. Sure she was now married, but he could very well stop her from moving in with James if he wanted to.

Robert huffed. Pft, power? Yeah, maybe before Jack Lestrange came around. It was nice a position though. Tough at times...more so than he would like but, an all around nice job really. "I wouldn't call it....incredible. Definitely not this term," Robert replied, putting it as lightly as he could. As his first year as Headmaster, Robert had overcome more obstacles than ever. His first intentions, to covert students into little death eaters had long been forgotten. Too much had happened for him to even care about that. In fact, he just up and quit being a death eater all together.
Robert glanced at the package. Shit! He wanted to bang his head against the desk in front of him. Maybe the Hogwarts excuse would fly. He only hoped it would. Robert couldn't help but smile. Kelsey had ditched James, who also equally had not left her alone, to see him. That made him happy, even if her reasons which yet had to be revealed to him, would not really make him happy at all. "What did you want to talk about?" he asked curiously. As a father, of course his thoughts hopped around. Pregnant? Please Merlin, no. If this was about the wedding he promised her, how much is it going to cost him? Or, could it be something else entirely? Robert wasn't sure. The pregnancy issue kept crossing his mind though, which made him rather uneasy.
Robert hastily pushed the package to the corner of his desk, hopefully out of Kelsey's reach. "It's um.." he cleared his throat. "Nothing...nothing important really. Just....nothing," he stumbled out. Robert couldn't bring himself to lie to Kesley. Even worse, he couldn't really look at her either. She would know he was lying, and he suspected she would open the package herself. It wasn't like it was hard to figure out. It was a long, rectangular box. It had a post mark from Moscow on it, right there on the top - in red. If Kelsey didn't open it, Robert was sure she'd figure it out. Robert only got the good stuff from his Russian friend over there in Moscow.

Kelsey new that everything going on was really taking a toll on her father. She could see the age coming into his face more and more with each passing day. Sometimes she felt responsible for causing him so much stress in his life. She really tried to stay out of trouble, she did, but it seemed that trouble always had a way of finding her. Kelsey promised herself that she would do all she could to make sure that she didn't cause her father more stress. However, she had a feeling that what she was about to ask was going to give him more stress and make him worry.
"Well.." Kelsey said, getting up from the chair. She didn't really know how to ask her father if she could go apartment hunting. Kelsey walked over to the window and took a deep breath before turning back to face her father. She put on her ever so famous 'daddy I want something' smile before taking a step forward. "See.. James and I we.. We need to leave campus for a day either Saturday or Sunday because, well, we want to go apartment hunting so we can umm.. have our own place by the summer and can move in right away. We... we just need your permission so we can leave," Kelsey said, looking at the ground awkwardly. She really didn't know how her father would react to this. A part of her knew he didn't want her to leave and was scared that he would say no. Another part of her kinda thought that he would be cool with his married teenage daughter moving out of the house to live with her husband so she could have long days of uninterrupted sex with him. Kelsey knew that that part of her was wrong.
Kelsey really wanted to know what was in the package. Her eyes wandered to read the post mark and her heart stopped. She knew what was in there. There was only one thing that he got from Russia and that was alcohol. The little bastard was going to start drinking again. No, Kelsey would not allow that but she knew she couldn't blow up just yet. she needed her father to say yes to her being able to go apartment hunting before she flipped at him. She was not going to let him have a drink when she couldn't. It was not fair. It was unjust.
"Hogwarts stuff I presume?" Kelsey said calmly, pointing to the package with a sweet little smile on her face. Oh, she planned on making him feel guilty for even thinking about drinking. She would act so oblivious that it would pain him to think that he is going against his sweet little girl's back. Yes, Kelsey could be a bitch when she wanted to be.

Oh crap. Here it comes. James and I...Robert took a deep breath, expecting the "your going to be a grandfather" speech. It was shocked that instead of that (much to his relief), they just wanted to go search of an apartment. Robert immediately wanted to say no but, refrained from saying so. He wasn't going to angry about this. He could deal with it rationally, like a normal person. All he would have to do is take a few deep breaths and....oh, never mind.
Robert rubbed his jaw and his eyes flicked to his package. What was he suppose to do? Be the asshole and say no, or be the good dad and say yes? Robert didn't feel Kelsey would be safe enough with James. Yes, the boy did have her in his head, and would do that but, he really couldn't protect her. Obviously, Robert had failed in that department too, and he was going to again. They couldn't go out on their own, not now.
To let her go, or not to let her go - that was the question. Robert felt that, if he let Kelsey go, he wouldn't be able to protect her so far away. The truth of the matter was, Robert wasn't ready to let her go yet. He wanted Kelsey to still need him and if she went out on her own, with James she'd....have James and not need him anymore. Robert wanted to be the good father, the cool dad that said yeah sure. He just...wasn't that kind of father.
Besides, just because they were going to look, that didn't mean they would find anything, right? But, by the summer? That didn't give Robert much time at all. He still had things to make up for, he....he wasn't ready for this. Robert knew, in the back of his mind, that really no matter what he did - she was going to go with or without his permission. In reality, she didn't need his permission to do anything any more - like get married. He was still sorta pissed about that one. At least, she remembered to ask him about this.
"Do you really think that's the greatest idea, with Jack still running around?" Robert asked, after several moments of silence. Maybe he could just scare her into staying. Then, he wouldn't have to look like such a bad guy in preventing her from leaving because he didn't want to accept it. It was just too early for him to accept.
Robert sighed and looked back at the package. Come on, she just picked the lie you were going to use, just go with it. "Um....no." Oh, you fucking idiot. "It's....more on a personal level," he said. Hopefully that would put an end to it. Maybe Kelsey wouldn't poke around, or worse - open it. That is, if she hadn't figured it out by now. Little did he know, her plan was to make him feel guilty. Too bad, he was already feeling guilty when he picked up the damn thing.

Kelsey really wondered how her father would react to everything. Half of her expected him to become the old Robert and freak out but the other half of her expected him to start crying. Robert had been pretty emotional about things lately and it wasn't anything new for him to start crying. She really wasn't used to him being so emotional but it was a good change from the usual cold being who didn't feel any emotions he used to be. Robert had come a long way in being a father and Kelsey was more than proud of it.
Kelsey began to think about what her father said. It was true that the timing for this was not perfect. She knew that she had a huge target on her back because of Jack and leaving her father would not help but it was something Kelsey felt she had to do. She needed to stand on her won two feet for a change and do things she wouldn't normally do, like move in with James. She wanted to start to build her life up again and this was the way she felt would help her the most in the situation.
"Well.. I know it's not the smartest thing to do but I feel it is the right thing to do. I just want to start to build my life again. I am going to be away from James all of next year because of school and we only really have the summer together to do married people things before we are separated for nine or ten months. Getting a place together would be easier than traveling to see each other everyday or him sleeping over at our house and you and him having to face the awkward morning after, James in his boxers with an I just had sex with your daughter all night look, kitchen experience that would happen. It would give us more privacy and really help us see if we can handle married life," Kelsey said, her words flowing from her mouth like word vomit. One of the major reasons why Kelsey wanted to get a place with James was for the sex. She really didn't want to have to be quiet or have to make sure her father didn't catch them in the act. Having a place of her own with him would prevent any awkward situations from occurring.
"We are planning on looking at places close to home because James knows that I don't want to be too far away from you and mum. I also told James that I wouldn't move in with him unless I get your approval. I don't want to go and do this against your wishes like I did with the whole getting married thing. Again, sorry about that," Kelsey said, putting an awkward laugh at the end to lighten up the mood. Kelsey just really wanted her father's approval on this matter. It meant the world to her to know what he thought about everything. After all, she was still his little girl.
"Oh, well what kind of personal item is in the package daddy?" Kelsey said with a sweet innocent smile on her face as she said the word daddy. Oh she wanted him to feel the guilt real bad. Either he would break down and tell her what was inside of the package or she would rip it open and be furious with him. Either way it was not going to end too well for one dear Mr. Robert LeBlanc.

Robert huffed. Hmph, being right had nothing to do with the matter. It wasn't smart, not at all. Still, Kelsey made a point that he really wished he hadn't heard her say. Robert definitely did not want awkward mornings. His blood pressure was high enough, thank you. Plus, Robert liked breakfast with eggs, and bacon, and...french toast. He'd rather eat those things than throw them up...or throw them at James. Or worse, both. Robert preferred neither of those things to happen.
Robert rubbed his jaw again, and had to sit down. He really didn't want to deal with this. Not now, not after the Anton deal. No matter what happened, either way Robert wasn't going to be happy about it. He figured, that Anton would be moving out as well at the end of the term, and that would leave a pretty empty nest. It would leave Vince all by himself. Still, Kelsey was actually asking him first, and he'd really prefer not to see James hanging around the house all the time. Plus, he knew as a young married couple, it was probably better to be off on their own. It would be better for everyone's sake. Robert sighed and said, "Your mother is going to want to decorate the place." That was as close to a yes as Kelsey was going to get.
Why did she have to be so fucking nosey? Robert felt himself starting to feel ticked off. "I said it's nothing," Robert said, letting Kesley knew he was irritated and that she should drop the subject. Besides, Robert wasn't actually sure if he'd drink it. Buying it was easy, and it helped a little. It was just growing really, really, really hard for him not to drink. There was just too much happening at once again, and he was crumbling.

Kelsey absolutely loved the look Robert got on his face when Kelsey mentioned sex with James. It was an often priceless look that could never be replaced. She knew it must have been very awkward for Robert to know that his daughter was sexually active and loving it. It also must have been very hard for him to look at James and not want to kill him because he was touching his daughter in ways he never even wanted to think about his daughter being touched in. Kelsey knew that if she would share her sex stories with her father that he would most likely try to kill himself right then and there.
Kelsey watched as her father sat down and she became very worried. He looked to be thinking about the situation very carefully. A part of her feared that he would say no. Kelsey knew that if he said no that she would personally make sure that James slept over every night and that Robert would be able to hear them having sex. It would be her own little punishment towards her father, though she knew he didn't deserve it. Kelsey had had so many disappointments this year that if she didn't get this one thing she would explode. However, when her father did finally speak, Kelsey could feel her whole heart jump with glee.
"So does that mean I can move in with James?! Oh thank you daddy! Thank you!" Kelsey said with a huge smile on her face as she ran over and gave her father a huge hug. The smile on her face was one that could never be replaced. It was the happiest she had been in a long, long time. Kelsey moved away from the hug and continued to look at her father with a smile on her face, showing him how happy she finally was.
However, a look of anger and irritation graced her face as her father refused to tell her what was in the package. Did he think she was a fool? Kelsey could feel her short temper being to boil over as her father continued to lie to her face and was planning on ruining their agreement. "Nothing? Oh please! You and I both know that I fucking know what is in that package," Kelsey spat out, her anger gracing her face. When Kelsey was angry she was really like her mother. She had defiantly inherited a cross between between both her father's and mother's temper. "I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me what is fucking inside that package yourself or I am going to force you to sit here and listen to me tell you about how many orgasms I had and how I got them the other night when James and I had sex," Kelsey said with a stern look on her face that read that she meant business. She was totally serious too that she would make her father listen to everything her and James did the other night, no matter how uncomfortable it made her feel saying it.

Robert nodded, though he didn't look too happy about his decision. Look, he was a father, with only one daughter. No matter what happened, he wasn't going to like it. End of story. Robert was just learning to let go of those types of things, even if he didn't want to. Still, it was kind of worth it. Kelsey was happy. She was smiling, and for that reason alone Robert was felt better about it. If meant this whole, moving in together business would make her happy, he'd just deal with it and get over it....eventually.
Their happy moment was rather brief. Kelsey quickly returned to discussion to that package. Robert sighed. He could tell Kelsey was getting angry with him rather quickly. Hell, he was angry at himself for being purchasing the bloody thing. Still, he hadn't expected her to be just sitting in here when he came back. This had actually been the one instance Robert would prefer Kelsey to be with James over himself.
Robert's stomach churned at the second mention of Kelsey and James......doing things he'd much rather not think they did at all. He was pretty sure if Kesley dove into such details he would either a: kill James, b: kill himself dead, c: barf, or d: all of the above. My bet is on d - this was an all of the above type of situation. Robert refused to look at her. Kelsey had just given him mental images he preferred not to see, and now he was a bit busy pushing them out of his head.
Robert opened his mouth to speak but, only closed it again. He wasn't sure how to put this in a more delicate way. Kelsey should know, about what happened after he rescued her. It just...wasn't really easy for Robert. Not at all. "I'm sorry," he said, after several hesitant moments. Robert still found he couldn't look at her. He wanted to explain but, the words kept catching in his throat. "I - something...happened and...I can't - " He slowly turned his gaze to Kelsey. If anything, she would be able to catch that there was something wrong. It was clearly visible in his eyes, where all his emotion shone like beacons.

Sometimes, Kelsey wished that she couldn't feel anything. She hated emotions and hated having to express them. She hated how she felt like an outcast now more than anything. Somehow, news of what happened to her got around and she was now the talk of the school. No one dared to ask her what happened, they would just whisper behind her back. At times, it got so overwhelming that Kelsey was unable to breath. She would just stop where she was and would struggle for breath. James was beginning to get worried about her even more. She tried to act like everything was fine, just for him, but she was having trouble. There was only so much a person could handle.
Kelsey knew that her little sex story threat would get to her father. The only way she could get him to actually tell her the truth was by threatening him with her sex stories. She knew the thought of his only daughter getting pounded by James' member every night was enough alone to make Robert go insane and kill her husband. That was why Kelsey pulled out the threat to tell the story when she needed to the most. This situation was defiantly one that called for guilt and threats to her dear old father. Kelsey smirked as she saw that her father couldn't even make eye contact with her. She knew that she had hit a nerve.
"You better be sorry! It's only fair that you have to hear my wonderful and amazing stories of long and passionate nights of steamy and unforgettable sex with James that happened right here in the castle. And if I do recall that I once had to endure the sight of my father in a doggy style sex move?" Kelsey said with a smirk on her face as she tried to make her father more uncomfortable, but in the process also making herself more uncomfortable. Kelsey really hated thinking about the day she caught her father and Adrienne having sex. However, Kelsey's smirk quickly left her face when she heard what her father said next. There was something wrong. What else could go wrong within the LeBlanc household? Kelsey feared to ask what was going on but knew it was what she had to do.
"Something happened?! What happened?! Is it mum? Is she okay? Come on tell me!" Kelsey said, interrupting her father with her many questions. Her voice was shaking and the fear could be seen in it from a mile away. Kelsey was beginning to get more and more worried that something terrible had happened. Hell, it was expected. After all, Kelsey had just began to pick her life up again, there was bound to be something wrong that would come up and mess everything.

Seriously, if Kelsey didn't shut up, Robert was going to just scream. He didn't really need to know these things, nor did he want to. He'd much rather not think about things Potter could, and did, do to Kelsey while they were.....he didn't even want to think about the word. Oh, then she has to go and bring that fucking up? Merlin's left testicle! Robert shot her a quick, dark, glare for even brining up the whole Adrienne thing. He had tried to apologize but, seriously, he hadn't been in his right mind. He shot hot air out of his nose, changed his expression to a deep frown, and then looked away.
Robert wanted to smack that smirk of her face. Luckily, his words did that for him. The whole sex thing completely left his mind, and once again he concentrated on the issue at hand - Anton. Robert really had no idea how to explain it. He could always start from the beginning. Yes, that made sense. Robert seriously didn't care if Kelsey didn't talk to him ever again, he fucking needed a drink if he was going to explain this to her. She'd understand, in the end.....he hoped. "No, your mother is perfectly fine," he said.
He sighed, and he slowly avoided saying anything and just unwrapped the rectangular wooden box. He popped it open and pulled out the crystal clear bottle of clear liquid under a light covering of paper shavings. Robert placed it upright on his desk. The glass of the bottle made a rather loud sound in the silent room as it contacted the wood of his desk. Robert stared at it a few seconds, with a longing look, and then he remembered Kelsey. He didn't want to lose her too. Robert glanced at her, and sighed again through his nose.
Robert picked up the bottle, and just held it, stared at it. He knew keeping the silence was most likely annoying the crap out of Kelsey, it just wasn't something that easy to say. "After your rescue, I went home. I had a...visitor." Robert glanced at Kelsey, and knew that she would know who he was talking about. "He followed us, well, me home. I thought we were alone, but then, Anton was upstairs....and, there was noise so he came to see what was going on..." Robert trailed off, his eyes stinging with both fury and great sadness. "Instead of killing me like he fucking should have, that mother fucker asked Anton to join him. He said...if he did, he'd leave us all alone. I told you brother not to do it, that Jack can't be trusted. He knows this but...." Robert paused, painfully and looked up at Kelsey for the last line. "Anton has joined Jack....and his...band of what the fuck ever they call themselves," he said, speaking ever so quietly.
Now that it was spoken out loud, Robert felt more like a failure. He wasn't going to tell this to Kelsey. Everything was fine for her, and now it was all fucked up again. Robert just felt like it really was his fault this time. He hadn't been able to protect his family, and instead of him taking the fall - it was going to him son, his eldest son. Robert wished that Jack wouldn't have taken him. He'd gladly die that live to see Anton join that scum of the earth. It was too late to change. The deal was done. Robert just had this feeling, in the pit of his stomach, that this wasn't over. It would never be over as long as Anton was teaming up with that scumbag with a name that Robert never wanted to say ever again. This was going to to mean war, and more than on a personal level.

Kelsey knew that she shouldn't be so cruel towards her father. After all, he did mean the best for her. He just sometimes really got on her nerves and it maddened her. It was probably because they were so much alike that they butted heads all of the time. Kelsey really couldn't help it whenever she used her darker, angrier side. It would just slip out of her without her acknowledgment. Luckily it wasn't so bad that she couldn't control it. She tried her best to be nice to everyone and succeeded for the most part.
Kelsey was really worried about what was going on. As she waited for her father to spit whatever it was out she could feel her heart race a million beats per second. This was worst than torture for her. She felt her heart ease a bit as he said that her mother was fine. There was one person off of her lists. She knew that James was fine, and Robert obviously was fine. Now it just left the matter of her brothers. Was it something to do with one of them? Kelsey feared the worst.
"Well then what is going on?!" Kelsey demanded, her impatient nature ringing through her voice. Her father then began to unwrap the package and she just looked at it, her eyes full of anger. She couldn't believe that he would carelessly open that in front of her. Kelsey was more angry at the fact that she wanted a drink though. As her eyes set on that bottle she felt her whole mouth water and crave for the liquid inside. Oh what she wouldn't do for just one drink. However, she knew that if she had just one drink that it would set her off on her old ways again and she didn't want that.
Kelsey listened as her father began to explain and she felt her whole body go numb. Anton was working with Jack. Kelsey could not believe her ears. How could he do such a thing?! Surely there was a way to ensure their safely other than working with the enemy. She didn't know whether or not to be angry or slightly happy that he would do such a thing for his family. Oh Kelsey knew she should be angry, which she was. She was angry at everyone! The world just seemed to hate her.
"HE DID WHAT?! Why would he do such a thing! That is it! I am going to kill that son of a bitch Jack with my own two hands! He has messed things up for the last time. Now where is my wand," Kelsey said, her face red with anger as she began to dig in her bag for her wand. Kelsey was fully prepared to claw Jack's eyes out at that moment. She just needed to find him in order to do so. Kelsey looked at the bottle and knew she needed a drink.
"Give me the bottle. Surely if you can cheat on our little deal so can I. I want a drink," Kelsey said sternly with eyes that could kill. She now knew her plan for the rest of the day. She would get as drunk as a skunk and then go and kill Jack all before it was time for curfew. Yeah, that sounded like an excellent plan to her.

Robert put down the bottle, lurched forward, and seized Kelsey by her arms, as if to prevent her from going anywhere. "Kelsey no!" he said rather fiercely. "I'm not losing you to him, again." Robert couldn't manage to say much more but, he kept a firm grip on Kelsey's arms. He was careful not to hold her too hard, just hard enough to let her know he wasn't letting her go anywhere...not with her wand in her hand.
His face tightened into a frown, and he slowly released his grip on Kelsey. Robert's dark eyes returned to the bottle, and he picked it up again. If they were going to screw this up, why not do it together? At least, they would be doing something together right? How bad could some drunken father-daughter bonding be? Heeellllooo! These are two very similar LeBlancs. Of course this was just going to be epically fucked up.
"Promise not a tell your mother?" Robert said, with the smallest smirk. Now was probably not the best time to get drunk. He would most likely regret letting Kelsey do it with him. Still, he had promised her, and she him. So, taking a step back together would just keep the field even in theory. So, what the hell? Besides, it wasn't like Kelsey was twelve or something. She was a grown woman (as much as Robert preferred not to think of her in that way). She could drink if she wanted. He could drink when she wanted so....fuck it. Oh, and if Mandy found out. He'd be out on the street for sure.
Keeping the bottle in hand, Robert went to his desk drawer, and pulled out two short, crystal glasses. He filled each, halfway, and held one out to Kelsey. The guilt would probably hit him much later. Tomorrow morning later, when he woke up with a horrible hang over. After not drinking for a whole month, thirty days, Robert knew he was going to feel this in the morning.

Kelsey put on a look of pure anger when her father seized her arms to prevent her from going anywhere. She wanted nothing more than to kill Jack so the world wouldn't have to face him anymore. She knew everything would be better if he would just simply disappear from life altogether. Kelsey knew she wouldn't have been so screwed up. Then again, knowing Kelsey she would have found some other way to royally screw up her life. Kelsey understood where her father was coming from though. She knew that she would never be able to fight Jack and live. Since Robert was so close to losing Kelsey before, she knew that he didn't want to risk losing her a second time.
"Fine! I won't go after him.... today," Kelsey said with an evil little smirk on her face as a joke. Kelsey's eyes landed on the bottle of liquor yet again and she couldn't help but let her mouth water. Oh how she longed for the feeling of it going down her throat at an alarming rate and making her feel light headed. However, when her father said don't tell your mother, Kelsey got a smile on her face that could light up the whole earth brighter than the sun.
"I promise! I won't tell if you don't," Kelsey said with a huge smile on her face. The anticipation for the drink was killing her. It had been too long since she had had one. it was going on two months now or so. Oh how Kelsey's body craved for it. It killed her to sit around while James drank and her not being able to have any. Kelsey then made a promise to herself that she would not get addictive to the drink again. That last thing she needed to add to her problems was her being an alcoholic again.
Kelsey knew no good would come of this. Hell, when would drinking with your father ever result in good things. Merlin knows what Kelsey would tell him once she was under the influence. One thing was for sure, the day was going to get interesting. Kelsey felt her whole body become more and more excited as her father grabbed the glasses and poured them a drink. Kelsey immediately grabbed the drink form his hand once he held it out for her. She paused for a second and looked at the drink. Did she really want to do this? Then her brain shouted yes and Kelsey raised the glass to her lips. Goodbye two months of sobriety. Within ten seconds of having the drink Kelsey had consumed it all, placing her now empty cup on the desk before her.
"Now that hits the spot," Kelsey said with a huge smile and a giggle. She then got up and took the bottle from her father, pouring herself another glass. She placed the bottle on the desk, took her glass and drank half of it. The smile on her face was priceless as she felt the familiar rush come over her. Since it had been so long since she drank, Kelsey knew that it wouldn't take much for her to get totally wasted. Sitting back down, Kelsey kept the drink in her hand and took small sips, waiting for her father to start any form of conversation.
