He smiled and hummed to his favorite song as he finished making the batter.He turned and looked at his baby girl as the batter was done and needed to settle now and that gave him more time to get to know his little girl better."Well the batter needs to settle now for a while ..want a glass of milk Em?" he asked her

Emily smiled as she watched him and listened to him hum as she smiled and said"yeah,daddy" she smiled as she tried to get closer to him by moving along the counter top slowly. she still held her toy dog closely to her as she looked at him.

He broke a smile as he saw emily move her little body on the counter to get closer to him it seemed."hey you .. if you wanted me to get ..you could just say so "he said with a smile and walked over to her and lifted his babygirl up in his arms."There you go Em.. lets have that glass of milk ..shall we?"

emily smiled and she kept her arms around her daddy's neck, as he held her. she didn't know it but she was a shapeshifter and couldn't control it. she now had small wings on her back. she felt them and was scared as she said"daddy? my back feels weird it's scaring me"

Jamie became shocked as his babygirl grew wings on her back.."oh god ..honey its gonna be okay ... shhh .. just stay calm .. "he said softly and shiny eyes and caressed her soft little cheeks "its going to be okay .. honey its just a little different.... has this happened before honey?"he asked softly and kissed her forehead and then looked at the wings again.He wondered where this skill came from and how to keep her safe from things ,he would not let her have the same life as he did and also he wondered wether Shiloh knew about this ?

emily shook her head and said" no daddy," she held onto her daddy tightly and said" i'm really scared daddy,what's going to happen,daddy?what happen to me?" she was very scared and confused about what had just happen to her.she never had this happen to her at all,so she was very scared.

"hush no its gonna be okay honey ..daddy is here and i wont elt you get hurt at all"he said softly and hugged her close to his body and sighed softly.he hated seeing hsi baby so scared but he didnt know what to do about it.he had no way of making it go away or at least that he could think about."ah its gonna be okay .. hush now relax and dont think about it ..i dont know why its happening to you .. i would need to talk to your mom about this ..to see if she knows"he said softly and kissed her forehead

emily nodded and said softly" thank you daddy" she wasn't so scared anymore as she was more curious. when she felt calm enough, she relaxed abit. she slowly laided her head on her daddy shoulder as she wondered what had happen to her and what they were gonna do about it. she didn't realise it but the wings on her back,stretched out to full length for a moment then folded back against her back and remained that way.

Jamie kissed the top of her head and ran his hand trough her soft golden blonde hair "its okey honey ..daddys here ..im not going anywhere this time ..its gonna be okey "he said softly and relaxed as she also became more calm and less scared.He had no idea of what his daughter ability was or if she had anymore.he hoped not ,he wasnt sure his heart could take more surprises.

The night had been very long in Shiloh's opinion, long but good. She had slept for a full night, peacefully, for the first time in years. She didn't realize how much Jamie did affect her until last night, and how the simple tings as sleeping seemed better. Now laying in bed she hadn't even noticed him get up, but when the smell of coffee, and the sounds of the kitchen started up the young woman awoke. Her hair a mess, but she didn't care. Standing up she pulled on the button up shirt he had been wearing the previous night, and a pair of shorts before walking into the kitchen..
Only to see her daughters wings were back, again. "Damn not again." SHe mumbled under her breath. Shiloh was very aware of all of this. Em has had them since she was a baby, but thanks to a potion that St. Mugos taught her to make she has been able to keep them from coming back. But she had missed givng her the potion the day before because of work being so hectic. Rubbing her eyes she just walked into the kitchen with a smile on her face knowing she could slip the potion to her daughter later when they ate. "good morning my loves." She said rubbing her eyes with the side of her hand.

"thats great honey .. its good that you can do that "he said softly and kissed the top of her head and sighed softly and bit his bottomlip.He wondered where this ability came from and how to keep her safe from other death eaters,he may side with them and been one in the past but he doesnt want that life for his daughter.He wanted her to have a happy upbringing with lots of fun and toys ,he intended to spoil her a bit.
He smiled softly as Shiloh had awakened and came down ,hearing the soft steps of her feet on the floor."hey honey .. we were planning on making you breakfast in bed ,,but we got alittle distracted ..look at our cute daughter .."he said with a smile and kissed the top of Emily`s head and sighed softly.Looks like life wasnt going to be as cafefree as he had thought but he was in it for the long haul.

emily smiled at her mommy and said" good morning,mommy" she looked at her mommy and said"mommy,why do i have wings?" then all of a sudden her wings folded out and begin flaping ,which made her raise out of her daddy's arms and into the air,which was scaring her alot. she looked down and she looked higher up then she actually was and was even more scared then she was before as she said" mommy,daddy i'm scared" she tired to control her wings and was able to lower herself abit,which was fun to her and she smile as she continued to try and control the wings, but the wings didn't do much of what she wanted.

Shiloh took a deep breath trying not to freak out as her daughter flew up in the air. "Em's stay calm ok. Just stay calm." She said looking from her daughter to Jamie. "Sorry...This is my fault, I will explain later." Grabbing her wand she pointed it at her daughter mumbling a spell bringing her daughter so she was standing on the ground, not releasing the spell becasue of the fear she would fly off. Taking her free hand she pulled out the peice of candy that contained the potion, and would cause her not to be able to shift at all, for the month atleast. "Sweet heart eat this and everythign will be ok. I promise.'

emily looked at her mommy as she was brougtht down to the ground. she smiled and eats the candy,like her mommy told her to do and she felt her wings disappeared into her back. she smiled and went oer to her mommy and hugged her and said" thank you mommy" she smiled as she looked up at her mommy then went over and hugged her daddy.
