Potters In The Hall (Lily, James, & Al)

Lily skipped into the Great Hall. She was in a relatively good mood at the moment and she didn't know why. She really wanted to see Al and James now. She hated being the only one in Slytherin out of the three Potter children. She wished she could be in Gryffindor most of the time. She missed her brothers. James had one more Year before he graduated school and Al had two more years. True, she was closer to Al than James but she was still going to miss James' pranks.

She spotted them almost instantly. They were sitting side-by-side, which was sort of unusual for them. They were making this easier than she expected. She gave herself a running start and jumped up on the bench between them. She was grinning from ear-to-ear.
"Hello, brothers of mine!" she said as she squeezed in between them.

"Hello, sister of mine," Albus said, when Lily squeezed herself in between him and James. "Aren't you at the wrong table? I think we belong over there with the rest of the snakes." He really didn't mind that she was in Slytherin. He liked to joke around about it, especially since he was expected to get that house.

He put her into a one armed hug and then smiled at James. "What do you think, James? Should we chase her away, wands drawn, like true lions?" He looked towards the Slytherin table again and found that some were looking at them. "I think you're friends are beginning to wonder what you are doing over here, Lils."

"Oh, shut it, Severus. You got a lucky cut," Lily said sarcastically, "You really don't want your baby sister getting together with all the bad evil Slytherins? I don't think Mum and Dad will be happy if I get hurt. They'd blame you for not taking better care of me. And I'll just stand there and laugh while you get yelled at."

"Screw them. I want to sit with my brothers. I barely see you guys anymore because we're in different Years and Houses. They're just gonna have to deal. Besides, they have precious Scorpius Malfoy to fawn over," Lily said as she glanced over at the Slytherin table before turning back to her brother.
