Physical Appearance;
Lana and Ryan were both embedded in their fair haired child. Although she wasn’t born fair haired, she had a dark mat that covered her head. Which had all fallen out at the age of one and replaced itself with the golden locks. There were many things unusual with the Delaney child, which they had assumed she would grow out of. But she never did. The girl had the best features of both parents and made a very handsome child. Which in the years grew to beauty and elegance. Serena was always very poised around people and had a certain air about her. She reeked elegance and maturity, even at a young age. It was unusual that Serena never went through that awkward teenage phase, which could be because she grew up in Greece and then in Paris. There was no time for that.
At first glance you saw a woman, who stood about five foot nothing. If that, she was very short and always hated being that small. At time she was at the perfect weight, but it occasionally slipped and she looked to skeletal at times. It couldn’t be blamed on her appetite fore she ate when she had the time. Serena was usually to busy for such a need as eating. The girl lived off of flavored water, it was her best friend. The girl had clear skin that was a mauve color and was becoming on the girl. At first glance, she was everything that her parents had wanted her to be. A blond hair beauty.
Selena both came to hate and love her appearance. So many thing she would change though. The height thing always bothered her, being so short was a serious disadvantage. The woman was so small looking and people took her as defenseless which she wasn’t. Being so small made her quicker and steady. There wasn’t very many muscular bodies on her body and she had always been fairly toned. That, again, she would love to change. Then there was the thing that she had tried to hide through her childhood and adolescence years, but gave up in her adulthood. The eyes which were given to her weren’t a perfect pair. But one from Lana and one from Ryan. Serena’s right eye was ice blue while her left was a sea green. Serena had tried to wear contacts but grew tired of trying to hide it, in the end she gave up.
For things she actually liked, they were few. For one, besides her eyes, she was satisfied with her face. The girl had a proportioned face, rosy cheeks, a soft nose and plump lips. In photographs she looked a lot like her mother had in her early twenties. The girl couldn’t help but love the long tresses she had tenderly grown over the years. The color of tarnished gold was natural and very becoming on the fair child. Mostly she curled them lightly and let them fall around her small frame. It was a little overwhelming to have so much hair on such a small woman. Serena didn’t have the heart to cut it though and only trimmed it, letting it grow longer each year. The girl had a style which was inspired by her step-mother. It was mostly french elegance that had molded into the life of a nightclub owner.

Personality;
Serena was a complex person when it came to where her personality went. Perhaps she was bi-polar, as one day she could be calm and the next she was a thunderstorm. There was no way to tell which way Serena would go towards in advance, you would always be hit full fledged when she got there and exposed herself. There were so many traits that, had she gone, would place her in Slytherin. She hadn’t been raised to think she was better than others, she just had the qualities that would even make Salazar Slytherin proud. Those were the things she didn’t expose very often as she hated to make people assume that she was just another one of those people. The ones that had followed the Slytherin code, and knew who as well as what they were. Some times it couldn’t be helped, and people saw. They never wanted to see it again and didn’t expect what they did see.
In many ways she was sarcastic, in ways that people couldn’t dream up. She couldn’t be blatantly sarcastic or lace it so it was hidden. Those who were quick caught on but many didn’t. Serena didn’t choose to use the sarcasm to be funny but to be insulting in a manor that was better accepted. The woman had no problems manipulating people in things that hadn’t wanted to be a part off. In ways she was cruel in the manner she approached situations and executed her progression. There wasn’t anything nice about the girl when she got that way. Like many, she had been born egotistical and cocky. Serena tried to hid it, but it was always there. Appearing when she least expected it. Qualities that were all Slytherin, perhaps they were wasted on the fair haired woman.
A side to that was even worse, which Serena kept caged up. It only grew and grew, occasionally having a small blow up. Those times she even scared herself at the power she had. There was something about her that was just plain deadly, and she had to watch it if she didn’t want to end up in Azkaban. That usually kept it under wraps, but she feared one day she would let it go. When it came to some things she was extremely to possessive and got jealous easily. God help any man that actually got close to her and had to deal with the two sides to that.
Luckily for Serena Delaney, the good was exposed more than the bad. She had been talented in hiding what was lurking beneath the surface and showed a facade, what people would rather see. The girl was cheerful and always had friends around. Serena was entirely to sociable and people were drawn to her. She had always been rather determined and that was how she got what she wanted. After all if she hadn’t been, she wouldn’t have her club. Serena matched that with a little hard work and she got what she wanted most. When she wasn’t to overly cocky she was just simply confident in everything she did. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do, in her mind anyway.
The friends that stuck she was loyal to and was a fierce friend. They could kill someone and she would defend them till it was to far gone. Serena had always been that way. The woman had been proud, loving and protective of all around her. Whether they be family or friends, they were all the same to her. When they got close, they were always there for Serena and she for them. Maybe she trusted to much but she hadn’t run into a problem, yet anyway.
The Past
History;
Serena Evelyn Delaney was born in Athens, Greece. She was the only daughter that Lana and Ryan ever had together. Lana was the daughter of a very important man, who lived in the muggle world but was also a pureblood wizard. Her father was part of the Greece government. So Lana knew all the ins and outs of being a high society lady. Ryan Delaney was out of France, he was just another rich pureblood who had attended Durmstrang. One day he found himself in Greece, at a diplomatic charity event where he met Lana. The rest was history, and the baby made three. Lana and Ryan ended up getting married and stayed in Greece, much to his family’s dismay. The house that Serena spent her childhood in was on the white sandy beaches. For a short time, it was her little fairytale world and she was a little princess. There wasn’t much that her father wouldn’t do for her and her mother was just as much under her spell.
Although, Serena didn’t have that fairy tale life for long. For some reasons, her father couldn’t stay faithful to his loving wife. So in return, Lana served Ryan with divorce papers and for spite kept Serena as she was only five years old. At the time Serena didn’t understand what was going on and only understood that her father wasn’t around anymore. It would appear though that Lana wasn’t to heartbroken as she remarried quickly. The new groom was a man by the name of Charlie Bishop, and Serena hated the man. Not only was he short and rude to her, he scared the living day lights out of her. There was something off about him and she wouldn’t get caught dead in the same room alone as him. When Serena turned seven, she had to welcome a bundle of joy. A sister, who they called Ursula. Again, Serena had no good feelings towards the dark haired stranger.
Unlike most children at eleven who were sent of to respectable wizarding schools. Serena was kept at home, as her mother had been. She was schooled by tutors around Greece, including her grandfather. Those days with her grandparents were happier days. Serena was able to get away from her mother and step family. There were times were she spent months there, not hours. It would seem that her ‘family’ didn’t really care what was going in her life. So in return, she was numb towards her mother. The relationship henceforth was different, very distant. When she was fifteen, they went on a vacation to Ireland. Ursula was eight years old at the time and was a little devil. She ended up getting into trouble with a local shop keep, where she blamed Serena. It would seem that Lana was on her youngest daughter’s side and sent Serena away. For, of course, Serena defended herself and that didn’t sit well with the Bishops.
So, she went to live with her father. Or so she had assumed it was just her father but she had a surprise coming to her. It would seem that not only did she have a sister a year younger than she but a brother a year older than her. Which meant that her father had been unfaithful to her mother the whole time. Serena took it rather hard when she found out about Jasper and January. It took days before she would say another word to her father. But in time she found that this side of her family was much more loving and accepting that her mother’s new family. In time she learned that Katie was more of a mother than Lana had ever been. Then before she was sent to Beauxbatons she was calling her mom. Although the tension between the siblings was still there. Serena bonded with Jasper before January, for what reasons she didn’t know.
At Beauxbatons she found that she was actually happy, even though she wasn’t with family. Jasper was at Durmstrang while January opted to go to Hogwarts. Why, Serena didn’t know but she went into the school not knowing anyone. But, Katie always had words of encouragement as Serena wrote her twice weekly. There was a couple relationships with boys that she had but they didn’t last long. It wasn’t that she didn’t know how to make one work but they just weren’t right for her. In her studies, well she was doing them at least. For the most part her social life was more important than the learning material. The grades she received always disappointed her father but he never harbored on the feelings.
Graduation had come before Serena had known it was even close. It was sad to leave all her friends but the never ending promises that it was the end were ringing in her ears. At seventeen she didn’t know what she wanted to do really. The grades she had acquired wouldn’t get her into a high paying ministry job. Nor could she imagine living as her true mother did amongst the muggles. The time in France had changed her, and she couldn’t imagine leaving Paris just yet. It had been her home for the last three years and she loved it so much more than Greece. That wasn’t saying that she didn’t miss the white sandy beaches, because she did. The new home she had just offered a whole new elegance to her world. For a whole year all Serena did was go to social functions with Katie and January. The three of them were truly like mother/daughter and sisters. Closer than ever.
During her eighteenth birthday though she was given an ultamatium. From her father, which had surprised her to the core. The choice was to get married to a suitable man, whom her father would choose, or she would move out. Serena assumed that her father betted that she would pick the first choice as it made all the sense in the world. As the girl wasn’t made for anything but entertaining others and being a wife. But Serena was full of surprises and opted to move out. Where she would go she didn’t know, but she wasn’t overly heartbroken that she had to leave. It was about time after all. In the middle of her eighteenth season she moved out and went to the rainy city of London. Leaving behind the elegance for something a little more dark.
The girl obtained a flat on one of the nicer streets of London. She was a pureblood after all it wasn’t like she had to live in shambles. That was all she took from her father though; food and rent money. The rest she was determined to urn on her own. Oh, it took a good month before she found a job that she actually seen herself doing. It wasn’t the most self gratifying job but it would have to do. A little nightclub in Hogsmeade hired her as a barmaid/ entertainer. The girl could sing and dance well enough. Over time she had favorite clients who would tip her well. That chapter of her life lasted until she was twenty. The year and a half she had spent there was well worth it. On her spare time she spent time with the owner, discussing managing tactics. Which was what she found she wanted to devote her life to doing. Owning and managing a nightclub.
That year she went to the bank, put down all that money and got the owners license. For once she had something that was truly hers. Two short months later, the nightclub was up and running. It was christened Seven Deadly Sins Nightclub. Serena couldn’t of been more proud of the bar as it flourished quickly. Later that same year she got some devastating news, her biological mother had committed suicide. Lana had jumped off the front terrace leaving behind her husband and daughter. Naturally she went to the funeral but wasn’t welcomed by her step family. They had disowned her years ago when she had first left. The visit was short lasted and she returned home, a little disgruntled. Serena managed that by throwing herself into work.

Medea was relaxing up in her room for the longest time. Actually she couldn’t remember the last time in the day in which she had gone outside. It had been a rather long and boring day for the seventh year slytherin. Nothing productive had come through her lounging around in her room, in fact she was still in her pajamas. Medea was never allowed to have these kinds of days at home and didn’t have them that often at school either. For some reason today was just a lazy day. It was early evening before Medea stopped drawing and she looked up at her clock. It was already quarter to five, the sun was still high up in the sky when Medea looked out the window. The girl’s soft sapphire eyes fell upon the quidditch pitch. It hadn’t been that long since she had last played and she already missed it. A rather large sign expelled from the girl’s lips as she threw her book across the room. “That’s it I’ve had it” the young girl thought while she got up.
Slipping on a pair of black leggings and a white t-shirt she left her room in a rather large hurry. Some times Medea just got it into her head that she had to leave and go do something. The girl had always been rather impatient and just had to be busy for the most part. Some times the mindless chatter of the girls in her class simply annoyed her and she knew if she didn’t get out of the room, she would snap at them. For the most part Medea was friends with the Slytherin girls her age but they were usually so immature. Which often made it easier for her to talk to the young men of the school, they were a little more grounded and were nothing close to being sissy. Her reason for being not so girl was growing up like she did, she either had to be tough or get beat up. Medea learned from a young age that it was easier to grow a backbone than get picked on from day to day.
Medea slipped out of the common room, after saying hello to a couple of her closer friends, and skipped along down the dungeons. The young girl often wondered why their house quarters were in the dungeons of the school but didn’t think of it much often anymore. After all it wasn’t like it was going to change, they weren’t going to change that fact. The enchanted windows showed the outside world well enough for Medea and it was rather cool, they never had to worry about it getting to hot. She assumed that perhaps the other houses might have a more steamy surroundings that the Slytherin house. It didn’t take long for Medea to slip unnoticed out of the dungeons and started wandering aimlessly through the hallways. Medea didn’t know where she was going at the particular time but she had an idea.
The astronomy tower always held a special place in her heart, although the trip was almost treacherous. The many flights of stairs were surely a test to get through. Not many people would venture to the towers for that one fact but Medea never minded the stairs that much. It had been her special little place since she had first gone to Hogwarts. Late at night she would slip up there and watch the stars twinkle in all their glory for hours on end. Some times bring a piece of parchment to either draw or write. Some of her best drawing were of the lake in which she could see from the tower, the moon would sparkle of the dark waters and just created a masterpiece to look upon. Medea was never one to ignore the potential of something truly beautiful and often would wait for that moment to present itself to her.
The trip didn’t take her nearly as long as she first thought it would, but she didn’t stop once and soon found her eyes adjusting to the sunlight. The girl let her strides take her to the stone ledge. The light wind picked up her hair and made it dance lightly among her face, a soft smile appeared on her face as she slid one leg over the ledge. Medea straddled the fence for a moment before she swung her other leg over. The young girl scooted back until she hit the wall, still letting her feet dangle over hundreds of feet of empty air. Medea had always liked heights, since she had gotten over that fear anyway, and from then she had loved being in the air. Whether it was playing quidditch or being up in high places she simply loved it. For once Medea hadn’t brought anything with her to do, her agenda tonight was to look upon the grounds. With her sapphire eyes she could see people gallivanting among the grounds and she chuckled as she saw someone being pushed into the lake. A sigh released through her lips as she let her shoulders shrug.
