The Outer Layer
Physical Appearance; Long, straight, blond hair runs in her family, in both men and women alike. Her mother, when she was a little girl, made sure that her hair was hardly touched in the ways of scissors or any other forms of cutting. A trim every now and then made her and her mother happy, and maybe a few layers or colouring. Not that she’s complaining, but every now and then her hair does get bothersome and she snaps it into a ponytail holder and is on her merry way. Well, most of the time it’s merry. When she’s on her broom it still flaps about in her face, though not nearly as bad as it would if it were a tangled mess released from its holder.
Adele also has a petite figure and used to get a bit of heckling from her childhood friends because of it. When everyone was sprouting up, she remained at a solid 5’0’’, and since then has only managed to, (just barely), hit five foot seven. Her figure has been pretty slender all of her life and remains so today despite her junk food intake; she blesses genetics for a high metabolism almost every day and weighs a pretty healthy 120 pounds. And although her figure isn’t anything to hide, she’s often in designer clothes, namely dresses, preferring anything, anything at all, compared to the school uniform that includes a skirt. She loathes skirts and only wears them when forced, and since she has yet to find dress pants she can wear, she’s stuck with them. Her robes are often tied loosely at the front to hide that very factor.
Her skin colour is of a tan complexion, but she isn’t often outdoors over the summer, preferring to find quieter tasks in her house while she’s with her family for a few months. Her eyes are a light brown and she has long lashes. Her lips are slightly pink, and despite some of her family members’ urges, she flat out refuses to wear make up. Three hours and you need to reapply everything, so why waste your time? She’d much rather scatter about doing whatever without having to worry about whether her ‘mascara is running’ or anything of that sort. It’s too cumbersome.

Personality; It must be a common trait to the Davies's, kindness I mean, and Adele does possess it quite often. She does despise many people, a bit, but tends to hide it from everyone else but her friends. Adele
usually gets well along with students of all ages even students from other houses, especially if she's alone. She doesn't strike up conversations that often but when someone comes to talk to her, her replies are rarely mean. However, if you somehow ended up on her bad list, you'd better beware of her.
Adele might be known as a sweet girl because of her dashing smile. That's what she actually is, most of the time, and would probably be all the time if she wasn't born to be the daughter of her mother. Because of this trait, Adele has many friends but to be completely honest, only a few ones she can trust. It's hard for her to trust anyone because her mother has taught her how dishonest people can be. It's almost a miracle that Adele can trust anyone after all the times she has heard lies without being able to tell that she knows the truth.
Against her own will, Adele is often jealous for others' happiness and such. She tends to hide it well though, knowing that it's very selfish to be jealous for something like happiness. She should be happy for others, instead of envying them and she is in the know about it. However, she can't change herself. Adele occasionally tries to help her friends with their worries to deserve being happy. She actually is good at helping others with their worries and solving their problems, but solving her own problems is always so much harder.
The young woman easily complains about things that really don't matter, but she only complains about them to her good friends. Therefore, acquaintances might think that she almost never complains and that's what Adele wants them to think. Adele can become rather confident around guys , even though any other girl would be nervous and such but what can she say it's just a silly habit. She wants everyone to like her, even the students and such, and that, of course, isn't even impossible. Adele's life would be so much easier if she weren't such a perfectionist. However, she has her way to drown her worries; she parties, plays the piano, she writes and she sings.
The Past
History; Adele Carmen Davies was born on the twelve day of May seventeen years ago to Roger and Penelope Davies. She was the couple's first child and it was not a secret to anyone that she wasn't meant to be the last. Therefore, it was Penny's chance to fulfil her father's dream and give the name 'Carmen' which meant ‘Great’ to one of her children like her brother had always told her to do. So, after many long conversations Penny and Roger eventually agreed that their youngest and only daughter at the time should be called Carmen. Now Carmen wasn’t Roger’s favourite name, he liked the more modern name Andrea or Adele and Roger was incredibly stubborn so Penny gave in and decided that her daughter should be named Adele Carmen Davies, to please the couple. That's the name the blond-haired boy got but never used it since everyone, except for Penny's Father, started calling her Adele.
Even though Adele was the oldest child at the time, she never felt like she didn't get enough love. Her mother bought her everything she dared to ask (and more), her father enjoyed telling her stories about his younger years at Hogwarts and naturally, when Brooklyn came along she realized that she was now her protector and one of her closest friends even if she disagreed with it, she knew everything there was to know about her younger sister. Adele loved her family more than anything else, yet she sometimes wished that she had so much more relatives so she and her friends could pick on the younger ones. When Adele was younger she wasn't the most sociable person around, therefore she didn't feel comfortable when spending time with all of her cousins at once. Adele preferred those days when she only met one of her uncles or her aunt + their children instead of meeting four uncles and one aunt + their children at once. Adele learned not to like Christmas too much because the family meetings never turned out to be too pleasant from her point of view, mostly because she used to push her younger cousin around.
When Adele finally began studying at Hogwarts school at the age of eleven and got sorted into Slytherin with her best friends, what a surprise. She realized how much friends actually meant to her. Whenever she needed help with finding the classes or something like that she could count on the fact that one of her friends or cousin would help her. However, Adele and her friends couldn't help but want other friends and respect as well. That's the main reason why they started spending more time outside the school and slowly began to skip classes soon, she did develop a few close relationships as well as plenty of not-so-close ones. Despite the fact that she didn't spend all her spare time alone, Adele kept picking and bullying people a lot but with the help of Nott she managed to get amazing grades. Studying was never anything she was interested in.
Things tend to change. Adele didn't exactly change all that much since she had always been a bully but still, she did change. Probably, during her second year at school the witty student got to know that life was so much easier when one didn't reveal one's true feelings and didn't hurt others by telling them. Adele became a manipulative liar, without even noticing it herself. The only ones she completely trusted were her small group of friends, they where the only people who had known her since the very beginning. Since she had practically known Nott since birth they where the two best friends of the group but don’t be fooled, they all where best friends and weren’t afraid to admit how they felt, they always talked to each other and therefore, they also shared their worries and good moments.
There isn't anything that special to tell about Adele's third, fourth, fifth or sixth year except one thing. The girl was named Slytherin Chaser in the beginning of her 4th year and at the beginning of 6th year she was named Slytherin prefect which made her happier than she had ever been, no matter how spoiled or loved child she was. Adele felt like finally someone had noticed how hard-working she actually was and she also had a feeling that she had made her parents proud. It might be that they had been proud of her all the time but the girl simply had been too blind to see it. And studying., well that was Nott‘s job in the group, wasn‘t it? That's pretty much what Adele's life was like, despite her tendency to flirt with boys and manipulate them to do things for her. Adele enjoyed playing her little games by using her beauty.

Roleplay Sample; “Yeah…I’m not freaking stupid!” Beverly snapped as she held her mobile to her ear. Damn her mother! Damn everyone for treating her like a bloody five year old. Who the hell did they think they where? Flicking through the channels on the television, Bev let her mothers nagging voice fade into the back of her head. “Yes! South Park!” The bright smile quickly disappeared once her mother began to ask questions. South Park had to be her favourite programme that had ever been aired on TV but it kind of sucked when she tried to watch it at home, her mother always told her off for watching it, telling her it was a bad influence. Sometimes the words that came out of that woman’s mouth where just down right fucked up! “What I meant to say was…super duper! Sounds like an awesome plan! Alrighty then…Adios amigo!” Ending the call, Bev sighed exhaustedly and threw herself onto the couch, “What the hell did I just agree to?” The question was to herself of course since no one was in the apartment with her like usual. That was only because she hasn’t found nobody who she’d want to waste her time with yet, someone who she could beat the shit out of freely, someone who was actually a challenge.
One, two, three hours of watching nothing but South Park and Family Guy; another amazing show that she constantly watched. It would only take Bev, what? Five more minutes before she was completely gone…asleep I mean. Laying there in a pair of shorts and her black bra was probably the way every morning started for her. Being awoken by her mother AKA her alarm clock and the weird thing is, she wakes her up by a stupid phone call. Seriously, one day she was going to throw that stupid mobile out the window. Hell, Bev never see’s Olivia getting phone calls from their mom every second. It’s not like Beverly is going to get thrown into jail or get kicked out of Win…actually just hold that thought. The vibration in her short pockets resulted in a small jump from Bev as she searched her pocket for the small device. Seeing who the text message was from a soft laugh filled the room. “Spencer…” Long time, no speak but what better time is there than now to meet up and catch up. Dropping her mobile on the table, she pushed herself to her feet and slowly approached the bathroom, not bothering to text him back.
Feeling the warm water beat down on her body, Beverly trailed her fingers through her brown hair. Spencer was probably already waiting for her but he’d just have to wait a little longer. Beverly never spent anytime on her appearance, ever. She usually just stuck on a pair of slacks and a t-shirt and she was gone. It wasn’t like she was trying to impress anybody, not like she’s ever done that before but this was Spencer she was talking about, they already had sex so what more was there to see? Washing the shampoo out of her hair, she moved her hands over her face trying to prevent the shampoo going into her eyes. God, she hated when that happened, it stung her eyes so freaking much.
Stepping out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped securely around her body, she walked over to the couch and lifted the remote in her hand. Flicking through the music channel’s she stopped at one, nothing in particular and turned the volume up, not full blast but loud enough for her to hear over the hair dryer. Standing in front of her wardrobe she pulled out a pair of slacks and a black t-shirt with green day printed onto it. Green day has to be one of her favourite bands ever, she could probably repeat one song over and over again without getting tired of it. Once she had her clothes on her she plugged in the hair dryer. Now for the worst part. Every time Bev used a hairdryer, it always managed to fuck up her hair, naturally she’d just let it dry on it’s own but today she didn’t have time to wait around. So what if her hair would go wavy, in all honesty she preferred it like that.
Digging her hands into her pockets, she walked towards the mall with a small grin on her lips which she couldn’t manage to wipe off. So he’d be at the food court wouldn’t he? That was what it said in the text. Pushing her way through the crowds of people, giving the girls harder pushes for ignoring her which resulted in many people insulted her. Oh well. Skimming her brown eyes over the many faces that where at the food court, one in particular caught her eye. There he was! Walking casually towards him, she stood in front of Spencer and twitched an eyebrow before sitting down beside him. “Out of all the places you had to pick the food court?” Rolling her eyes, she looked at what he bought and that grin from earlier appeared on her lips.
