The Outer Layer
Physical Appearance;
adriel is half mexican, and has beautiful flowing dark brown hair. her complexion is exceptionally clear, but in the past she had suffered with acne, and now washes her face every morning and night. her deep brown eyes are from her father, and her hair colour comes from her mother. her clothing style is pretty laid-back. she doesn't really enjoy wearing super expensive clothing, she shops at the thrift store, where she always finds funky things she can clean up and make her own.
when she is seen without her school robe on, she'll usually just be wearing a pair of jeans with a t-shirt and a scarf. her favourite type of shoes is converse, and she is almost never seen without her green and black checkered ones. adriel's only sweater is her dark blue pullover which she rarely wears. sometimes she'll wear a black headband, or put her hair up, but she mostly just leaves it down.

Personality;
adriel has always been the nicest in the family, and her parents are constantly nagging her other sibling to be more like her. although she is ashamed the say she likes this attention, she feels bad for her family because her sister basicly hates her because shes the one mostly bugged to be alot like her. she is very outspoken and will say whats on her mind, and stick up for her friends, but tries to keep it in proportion so she won't seem rude. she is also very outgoing, and can make friends easily, and is she charming. adriel is also brave, and wont be afriad to do outrageous dares.
she also is the type of girl to create her own crazy dares for her friends. addy obeys the rules, except for one, which is she sneaks out of her dorm after 10 at night. but for some reason she's only been caught twice in the 55 times shes sneaked out, and that makes her smile. adriel is also very caring, and will help anyone in pain, or someone that needs a shoulder to cry on.
The Past
History;
adriel was born and nesstled in the small town of rural in mexico. she was the middle child, and her younger brother tico came two years later. life was going good, her mother would stay at home with the kids, and her older sister would help out around the house while there dad was working as a butcher. but when addy was six, a small gang got together and formed bonds with a few other gangs, and where shooting at random people all of the town. she can still hear the sounds of gunshots right outside her window. in the middle of the night two days after the shootings started, her father had bought tickets to england. they escaped, but her brother was shot, and by the time they could find help he was dead. they had to leave his body in mexico, and they flew to the UK.
after their arrival, they had a small ceremony for her brother, who died at the young age of four. they found a small trailer home, and lived there for a few years. they knew the war was over, but her father wouldn't allow them to return to the place where her brother died. adriel agreed, it would be so tragic and hard for her, but the real reason they stayed was because when she turned 11, her father explained to her a thing called magic. of course she didn't believe it was possible for him and herself to be a wizard, but it turns out the school her sister had been going to was a wizardry school, and addy had been enrolled in it for her first year. her dad told that she had to live there and so did her sister, and she was reluctant to going.
but there was no use, she was going to hogwarts. her first year went by fast, she was so fascinated by the magic, and she became good at it. her sister ignored her most of the year, except when they went home on holiday. she made new friends, and in her third year, she had her first boyfriend. life was going so well for her, but word that another war had started in rural was haunting them, especially her mother. adriel had learned that at hogwarts her mom was called a muggle, and that she was a half-blood. but her mother was worried about her family, and called there every night. her mother called her own mother one night, and learned that her sister had died in a shooting outside their house. she had stupidly looked out the window because she heard the shooting stop, but right when her face appeared through the window, the pulled the trigger and her sister was killed.
tragedy had struck through the family again, and her mother barely talked to them, and at dinner she would only eat one quarter of her dinner then she would go to her bedroom for the rest of the night. but now, adriel is in her sixth year, and her mother has made alot of progress and is starting to act like her normal self. the war had ended, and the police had caught the people who had started it, which made her whole family happy.

"no.." she mumbled stubbornly. maybe he was right. her head jerked up when he said his mom always thought he was special on the outside, and aliyah couldn't help herself. she burst out laughing. once she containted herself (which didn't take long) she looked up at matt. she was being rude again. but it's not her fault, she had hoped to run into an actual friend, not some all star. "sorry.. that was just kind of funny." she apologized for her outburst, and hoped it didn't offend him that much. she shifted her feet on the ground as he talked on about another thing. she was surprised by the last sentence. she hadn't planned to stick around and hang out with him or anything, but aparently he had other ideas. "I guess you'll have to show me you aren't like them." she agreed, then thought about what she just said, and remembered him asking not to call them jerks. "oops. not sure if that counted for calling them jerks, but sorry if it did." it might have seemed like it to him, so she didn't want him to think she's some out right naturally rude human being.
lia slid herself back down and against the lockers, and looked up at matt, assuming he would join her on the filthy floors. or maybe he would guide her to some other place, she hoped he would do that. a teacher would probably come strolling down the hall and see them, and yell at them for still being in the school. also, she didn't want to continue getting her clothes mucked up with dust from the whole student body. "so.." she said awkwardly before sighing. she really wished she wasn't stuck in this situation, but maybe it was for the better. maybe she would learn that there really are nice all stars, and possibly they all are nice. but from what she can tell, he was the only slightly normal one of the group. aliyah thought about something to say to end the horrible silence that was echoing through-out the hallway. she bit her lower lip nervously, which she did often because of habit. "um.. how was your day?" she asked with a fake smile, but then smiled normally at him. she should relax, maybe try to act normal. if only normal existed.
