His eyes are often talked about, as he has a condition where his eyes are different colours, called Sectoral Heterochromia by Muggles. His left eye is a cool shade of sapphire blue. His right eye however is partly blue, but half the eye is a shade of chocolate brown. Rhyder's skin is not pale, but neither is it tanned. His cheeks are prone to turning red in bright sunlight, or if he's embarrassed. Rhyder's smile is a tiny bit crooked and his some of his teeth are slightly wonky, but his smile looks good enough.

Personality;
Rhyder can often be described as quiet, as he'd much rather be reading a book than be involved in a huge discussion or having a debate. Rhyder is quite determined to get good grades and often studies very hard, particularly in subjects at which he feels he needs to improve in.
Rhyder is a kind and caring individual. He's always there if someone needs help, and will usually try and assist in any way he can. This attribute comes out particularly with animals, and Rhyder is often seen caring for one and talking to it gently. Rhyder is known to be rather ditsy, and sometimes clumsy and forgetful. He can sometimes be seen searching for a possession he's misplaced, and usually has to rush into his previous lesson as he's realised that he's forgotten something.
The Past
History;
Rhyder was born into an average wizarding family. His mother was a partly french half-blood, and his father was a british pureblood. Being an only child, Rhyder had the luxury of having the attention of both his parents directed towards him. Rhyder spent a lot of time with animals, as his father worked at the Pet Advisory Board in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures at the Ministry of Magic. His father sometimes bought back animals to see whether or not they would make good pets, and apart from a few bites sustained, Rhyder enjoyed every moment of it.
Both Rhyder and his parents were thrilled when his letter for Hogwarts arrived on his eleventh birthday. It wasn't long before Rhyder was on sat on the Hogwarts Express on his way to Hogwarts. His parents were both very happy to hear that he'd been sorted into Ravenclaw house, as they both knew their son was quite intelligent.
Rhyder achieved 9 O.W.Ls, only failing Astronomy, as his fear of heights put him off during his practical exam. It was during his O.W.L year that Rhyder started to develop feelings for other guys, and he came around to the fact that he was gay. He chose a few of his close friends that he told, but did not feel ready to be perfectly open about it for fear of bullying.

"Bollocks" mumbled Rhyder, having just slopped orange juice down himself. He swiftly picked up a napkin and proceeded to dab it against the wet patch, hoping to dry it. He grabbed a slice of toast, smeared on some butter and jam, then went outside into the grounds.
Being the middle of winter, Rhyder was dressed in a thick cloak, and was wrapped with a warm, colourful scarf. He examined the snow covered grounds, and smiled as he saw a group having a snowball fight. To his right, there were several people admiring a snowman that had been enchanted so that it's stick arms waved, and it tipped its hat to anyone who walked past. He picked up his wand and gently dragged it in the snow, making a random pattern in the snow. The pattern reminded him that he had charms homework to finish, so he reluctantly got up to return to the warmth of his common room.
