The Outer Layer
Physical Appearance;
Joshua has serious dark brown eyes. They are much like his mother's who is actually a Veela. Naturally because of this, he is quite handsome and many girls like him. He has rich, blonde hair that falls to about the top of his neck in the back and to his eyebrows in the front. It is extremely straight also. He has a muscular build. Joshua is also quite tall for age at about six feet and a few inches. This is much like his father.

Unlike most boys his age, Joshua never treats hot girls like objects. Honestly, he understands them because he goes through the same thing. For that reason, Joshua Bernard has always been very sensitive and conservative towards his friends and other girls. Although he is very nice, Josh also enjoys doing magic and dueling. During boring times, Joshua likes to just pick up a book and start reading. Much like his father, Josh is very protective of his friends and family.
The Past
History;
During his past, Joshua Bernard lived in France with his parents. A lot of the time, he was completely isolated...just with the friendship of ravens that seemed to visit him every day at the same time. To this day, because of that, Josh's Patronus and Animagus...is a raven. Now though, once he came to Hogwarts at age eleven, Joshua got many friends who liked him for himself...or girls that liked him for his looks.
In Josh's third year, during Care of Magical Creatures class, he was attacked by a thestral. Apparently, the thestral 'liked' him...according to the teacher. Only after a couple months was his leg completely normal. The bite of a thestral is dangerous because it's mouth is NOT exactly filled with great things. Even now, Josh has a mark on his leg where the thestral bit him. Oddly...it is similar to the shape of a lightning bolt.

Joshua Bernard was sitting in his Hogwarts Express compartment talking with his friends. Suddenly, the train came to a slow stop as steam hissed across their windows. He got up and groaned. It's good to be back at Hogwarts man. As Josh walked out of his compartment many other compartment doors opened. Heads of many people stuck out and then their bodies followed them out the door.
As he walked down the corridor, Josh heard whispers and giggles from many girls. He smiled. By now, Joshua was used to that..and the fact that he was the son of a famous and beautiful Veela model. He rolled his eyes and kept on walking. His friends always said he was too popular for his own good and Josh would always laugh. Sometimes, though, he truly felt alone as if no one understood him here at Hogwarts. Hopefully...this year was going to be a change. Joshua Bernard stepped out into the foggy night covered with steam from the train. Josh looked up to see Hogwarts darkly looming above them with the lights lit inside. He sighed as he prepared to take off for the last ride until reaching Hogwarts.
