WELCOME TO THE INTER-HOUSE TOURNAMENT!
Today our four lucky contestants will begin their first challenge to glory. The same rules apply here as it does for when we play quidditch. Contestants will post their attempts at an obstacle, not stating if they succeeded or not. Then the referee will state which player won. The winner will be awarded 200 Hogwarts Points. The contestant with the most points at the end of the tournament wins.
& NOW TO THE FIRST CHALLENGE!
Each contestant, as you may see, are now trapped inside a capsule, big enough for them to stand in. There is no door, windows or light or any kind inside of the capsule. The contestants must find a way to escape the capsule first. The first one out is the winner. In the event of a tie, the points will be split between the two winners. Good luck contestants.

Darkness was all Quinn's eyes opened too, for a moment she though she hadn't opened her eyes at all, she quietly reached around her pockets finding her wand and quietly pulling it out. "lumos." she whispered and she saw her predicament. Wide eyed she quickly thought of a plan, she reached out and knocked on the casing around her, she thought it sounded like a thin capsule.
Slowly she took deep breath, calming her nerves. Looking around the claustrophobic space, if she didn't know any better she would would think they were playing on non-magical fears of the champions. Though she was definitely not afraid of tight spaces after spending three weeks in a closet after her parents died, she didn't particularly like them so much either. She was not afraid at all but worried for what would the outcome be for the others, luckily she couldn't feel their emotions.
*Standing up she surveyed the inside slowly, definitely no door. That would have been just to easy, even though the challenges weren't easy they were puzzles that after words when looking on it after you forced the loop off when you realized there was an easier way then what you had done. The right way, the way on the instruction manual you had tossed had warned you of, and you didn't listen. Though in the heat of the moment you had thought you were right taking the long way.
*Quinn wondered if any of them were afraid of the dark, none of the other contestants seamed like they would, but it made her wonder being stuck alone, to feel no ones emotions on the other side, it was slightly nice being alone in her head for a bit, if it wasn't for it being uncomfortable, she wouldn't have tried to get out. Maybe she'd ask later what it was made of so she could make a bigger one so she could sneak away once in awhile.
Finally deciding on a plan she took motion through her wand. "Duro" She closed her eyes hoping it would happen but she dared not look, Hopefully the capsule had turned to stone. She braced her self for the next blow, the second part of her plan the exploding spell, she pointed her wand out and wished and prayed it would work. "Expulso."
Edit; I only added more detail, not spells I used in anyway shape or form. (I was bored..) Just added the two *ed paragraphs.. Thought I had lost character when I read it, it didn't sound like Quinn very much.
Question:: There was no mention of a quill in the description so where did every one get one??

The next thing he knew. Beryx found himself in complete darkness and only a wand and quill for company. Reaching to both sides, the 5th year felt the edges and found he was in some metal tube...not exactly what he had expected for the first test, but it wasn't something he thought he couldn't handle. Escaping from things and rooms were one of his specialties. It had to be with the family he had. Taking his wand, Ber called out, "lumos," as he took his other hand to slightly bang on the surface. Doing so caused his ears to ring as the sound reverberated in the small area. The capsule was solid all around..no cracks or secret exits. It was a good thing small spaces didn't affect him. I mean he didn't enjoy being cooped up, but he had no fear of it...There always was a way out..
He muttered this inside his mind as he tried to think of what to do. He had plenty of ideas, but most ended up in uncertainty. His first one was to vanish his cage, but that also might envelope him to. The second was to change the cages form, but that still didn't promise his freedom. Folding his arms he looked around again, now slightly annoyed. He should already be out and waiting. What if the others were done?
In that brief moment of waiting, a smirk crossed his face...could it be that easy? Why he hadn't thought of this sooner was likely because most of his prisons were far larger than a man sized cage. Why not try the switching spell? At first, Ber wanted to switch himself. Perhaps replace his position with one of his enemies. It would be a good laugh, but he was sure the teachers wouldn't approve..So the young Silvasi settled on switching the capsule itself with a broom. Pointing his wand at his target, he said almost casually, "Inanimatus Conjurus!" and then waited to see what would happen..

Helena's eyes saw nothing but darkness. "Lumos.." She whispered. The tip of her wand lit up. She waved it around trying to find a way out, and as expected, there was no way out. This was just beginning, the rest was getting better. She leaned her back against the wall she knew nothing about trying to think of a spell to conjure and break open those four bloody walls around her. She had no idea where she was. "Point me," Her wand acted like a compass showing her the North, South, East & West positions. Well that gave her no help whatsoever. She gulped, feeling her saliva slide down her throat. She felt her pockets. She felt something. She pulled it out and shown the light on it. It was her quill? That was when she came up with an idea. "Portus," She muttered pointing her wand at the quill. The quill turned into an odd blue color than to a solid one. She had made it take her to the great hall of Hogwarts. Hopefully, it took her out of this place. She gripped it, waiting for something to occur....

Mike was surrounded by darkness with only a wand in his hand and a quill sitting next to him. He felt around him, noticing that he was trapped inside some sort of giant metal tube. "Lumos." He stated aloud to his wand, feeling a little better as light flooded the small area. He felt around the walls, not finding any secret exits or cracks that he could use to his advantage. Sighing, Mike tapped his fingers on the metal lightly, trying to think of what spell he could use to escape. There was always just busting his way through with bombarda maxima, or he could get a little more creative. On the creative side, Mike had no idea what spell he could use that would get him out.
As he sat for one more minute, Mike finally came up with a respectable way to escape the pod. He stood up, gripped his wand in his hand and spoke. "Defodio" Mike said, waiting for the spell to take effect and carve a hole through the metal of the cage he was locked inside.
