The Outer Layer
Physical Appearance;
Lucy is a perfect mixture of both of her parents. With Percy's height and her mother's slender frame, she appears as any delicate woman would. She inherited her mother's thin limbs, yet in respect to her equally proportional torso, she doesn't appear as gangly in the least. Rather, she seems quite proportionate. Her hands are average in size, with long delicate fingers her mother would describe as a pianist's fingers. Her feet, however were larger in comparison to other girls of her age, finally settling in an eight and a half size shoe. This would be a very self conscious area concerning Lucy.
Lucy's face is where the mixture of both Percy and her mother is most commonly seen. Despite her thin, yet muscular body, Lucy's face is more rounded like her father's with her mother's slender nose. Her well kept, curved eyebrows lead way to her her intense blue eyes, a feature she received from neither parent. Her eyes, blue-gray in color most days are one of her favorite attributes as they are the windows to the soul. Lucy can make them convey any emotion she wishes, and can send owls whether mysterious and flirtatious, or cold and angry to anyone she peers over to. Crowning off the masterpiece is a thousand-watt smile, with plump yet thinner lips and pearly white teeth. Along with her eyes, Lucy takes great pride in her dark red, nearly brown hair. It has a gentle wave, taking after her mother slightly, but is thick and reddish in color after her father. Having grown it out well past her shoulders, Lucy counts it as one of her finest features.
Lucy takes great pride in her athletic, strong build. Usually doing a workout once a day to build core strength and tone up her body, Lucy always seems perfectly fit, though it would be an overstatement to say so. Her clothing choices vary from day to day and mood to mood. She ranges from fun and fancy free with a slight touch of revealing, to lazy and baggy sweat clad. Each outfit seems to speak to her personality choice of the day, yet somehow she can pull off as looking slightly attractive.

Personality; Without her mother's subtle intuitions, or her father's quirky and sometimes dimwitted ways, Lucy Weasley is confident, secure in herself, and incredibly outgoing. Sometimes, its as if she has no stopping force at all. Lucy will try anything once, no matter if its muggle or magical, dangerous or safe. With a strong sense of self, she can do no wrong, at least in her eyes. Lucy is always quick with a fact, witticism or sarcastic joke. Along with her never ceasing mouth and nonexistent filter of word vomit, Lucy also has trouble with telling lies, especially to her parents in an extra effort to preserve their standards.
Lucy is very family oriented, even if she doesn't always get along with them. Everyone's families embarrass them from time to time, and everyone gets agitated, but that never means Lucy wouldn't lay down her life to protect her sister, a cousin or any other family member. Her strong will sometimes causes her to see things in black and white, and she usually needs help deciphering the gray areas by friends and family. Despite this, Lucy has her family flaws. As the youngest child, she feels a sense of responsibility that is sometimes too much, and always strives to pull against her parents with every turn.
In school, Lucy is mysterious and whimsical at the same time. She takes time to observe and take things in yet at the same time can't help but put herself in the spotlight. Her personality is quite diverse, and often hard for her friends and family to keep up with, but to Lucy her world is a whirlwind of fun, laughter and adventure. In line with being a Weasley, Lucy did inherit her father's smarts, and with them an incessant need to be right all the time. Lucy is a helpless flirt who loves the boys and loves even more to make her father, and male cousins nervous about her habits. Lucy's emotions can be tricky to pinpoint as well. She often internalizes everything to the point where her emotions all come spilling out in one sitting, overwhelming herself and anyone who may be around. To solidify this, she writes in order to release some of her anxieties and emotions.
The Past
History;
Lucy Archer Weasley was born to Percival and Audrey Weasley on Valentine's day, a special occasion to the young couple. As a baby, she was a sweet girl, responsive and observant. For the first few months of life, Lucy would scream her tiny little lungs out if anyone but her mother held her, and when her cognitive skills began to kick in, she became a full fledged Daddy's Girl. Growing up, Lucy spent a lot of time at relatives homes and playing with her cousins. Even at as young an age as five, Percy and Audrey could begin to see a difference in their daughter compared to the other kids. Always quick to take the spotlight, or assert herself in a leading position on playgrounds. Lucy would cause trouble at home, or relatives' homes, breaking things or climbing on furniture or bookshelves. Taking needless risks that would seem outlandish to other elementary school aged kids. The rest of the family saw this as a cry for attention for the young girl amid a ton of cousins, but her parents seemed to think different. Thus the long legacy of Lucy Archer Weasley was born.
At the tender age of ten, Lucy received her induction letter to Hogwarts, and it was safe to say her parents were thrilled, though it was little surprise their brilliant daughter would be accepted. Highly intelligent, witty and clever were three words that fit Lucy. With her outgoing nature, she made friends quickly, and not just within her own year. Lucy's first few years at Hogwarts she spent diligently working on school work along with getting herself into a tight spot every now and then. She was finally separated from the Weasley and Potter pack, thus giving her the ability to branch out on her own and discover who she was. Lucy was always able to make her own way.
In her third year, Lucy began her inevitable endeavor of boy crushes and flirting. This behavior only increased the older she became, as did the tension between her and her parents, and her lying. A quick lie was always easier than a brutal truth, at least in Lucy's book. Often times they were colorful and witty, just for fun. In her fourth year, Lucy began dating which led to an increase in her journalism, and an increase in interest in the young Weasley girl. Sometimes, to annoy her male cousins, she would even openly flaunt and flirt with other boys in the Great Hall, often times just to see their expressions. Lucy is always ready for an adventure, or to try new things. Dares are a weakness in that once she is dared to try something, Lucy cannot back down. This was how she ended up in the Hospital wing after downing an entire box of Nosebleed Nougats from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

The feline in her arms purred as she scratched behind its black ears. She had never understood the wanting need for a companion such as a cat. They were independent creatures, always coming and going as they pleased. They found their own means of food and shelter, even to go to the bathroom. Cats needed very little attention, and very little responsibility. With a look of subtle realization, Lucy became cognizant of how appropriate a pet like a cat would be for herself. Even Spook, her self sufficient barn owl, was too much upkeep for her. She sustained such toil only because of her extreme love for the creature. He had been a gift to her from her parents, and idea purely born from her mother’s genius. At a young age Lucy had been a wild and irresponsible being. Her mother had brilliantly thought up a “fun” approach to force the unpredictability from her daughter.
She supposed, with idle affection, it was unusual to feel more connected with a silly bird than actual flesh and blood. It hadn’t been her wish to become so isolated, but it was slippery spiral she heading down. Lucy had been sitting alone on the train for nearly an hour before the four-legged friend had come to join her. In a way she was glad to have the company, but she was also hesitant. The appearance of a cat would mean that soon a two-legged companion would be following soon. After the hasty, if not ill-tempered goodbye on the platform to her parents hadn't been enough, Lucy had continued a fight with her sister. Apparently, her recent choice of a boyfriend was unacceptable to her, causing her to harass the poor boy. Now, while he was off catching up with some friends and not snogging her, Lucy finally had some peace and quiet for herself. She wondered how long this particular relationship might last, if it would even survive the train ride. Shaking the thoughts from her head, Lucy looked out the window as she petted the cat.
Rain had begun to form on the surrounding hills and valleys. Lucy hated the rainy days, they made her feel so cooped up and trapped. At home, in the family property, one could always catch young Lucy standing in the middle of the backyard during rainstorms. Her hands held far to each side, she would lean her head back and allow the rain to run down her face. There was something so freeing in those few moments of pouring rain, something Lucy just could not encompass during the school year while stuck at Hogwarts. Returning her thoughts to the present time and place, Lucy released the cat in her arms. It was pawing at her to be let down, and she obliged with a smile. Watching it trail out the cracked door, slipping between the door and its frame, Lucy leaned back in her seat, closed her eyes, and waited for the train to arrive at Hogwarts.
