help?

So lately the site has become rather... dead you could say and it is breaking my heart! I really don't want this site to die but if activity keeps up the way it has been lately then the site seems to be on it's way to the death. Is there something that is keeping people away from the site? What do you guys want? Please, give me suggestions because I don't know what to do.

Hey there Bird.

I honestly think that it could be that real life is very important as is the fantasy life we all love to create together... for me it's that my real life is catching up to me and i'm working long hours (sometimes starting at three in the morning). I'm not sure what to suggest as far as what to do with the site, but maybe others will.

Just my two cents there.

It's The Real life taking priority I think too. I've been flat out. I've just got a new job, am doing a horticulture course two days a week and have started designing again. So basically I'm a busy girl. I think that my be the case with a lot of people and that's why the activity has gone down. It may pick up in awhile once things like exams and people's lives calm down a bit, other than that I don't know what to say.

Refresh a little, get rid of the inactive users and get advertising like mad (I'll assist) and something dramatic... I still want a duel.

I think it's real life as well there just isnt very much going on. With hogwarts out for summer people might not know what to do with student characters plus there isn't a big event for everyone to get involved in.

sorry i haven't been here for a while. my schedule has been packed between playing for 2 soccer teams and basketball, not to mention that my school is 2 hours away from my house. -__-
but anyway, maybe we should have a party or something for the characters? i tried to do that with laci and tuesday, but no one really replied to the thread. i'll be putting up a fresh plot page for my charries in a little while (:

Its life love, but yes, i guess partially the inactive members. I personally had a lot of plots with people that poofed without warning, and new plots really didn't compare with the old ones.

But when life catched up to one person, It created a sort of chain reaction. Im guessing that is what happened. We are all in one general generation i guess we could call it, and all getting busy at the same times (as I know for me finals are coming up pretty quick, and im stressing out over grades and drama and shit) this stuff falls to the bottom of our priority list.

Maybe refresh the site a little bit? Delete inactive members, offer something exciting as a group thing to create plots... and we might be good?

This is still my fav site though... it better not die!!!!! *is willing to help with advertising*

for me it's really the absence of like actual plottage plottage. or if I have, they disappear. I agree with like ^^ everyone <3 I love this site and don't want it to die, maybe like some cool subplots that more people can join? ?

I agree with everyone here, life has been an issue. I myself have had tons of events with my youth group going on that I have to attend if I want to get the high position I'm running for. On top of that, my school work has been piling up, and in about two weeks, I'm going to be taking two regents that I have yet to start studying for. I will try every chance I get to get on here and post, not just log in to keep my account up. But I really don't think its the site at all, just everyone's personal lives. Maybe it'll pick up when summer starts. <3

april - june are exam months, end of semester and prep for SAT's, diploma's, etc etc. it's also the same time a lot of people are getting into summer jobs and the like.

my computer crashed...and also, im working on exams to graduate next week...and there were so many plots when i got here that i just couldn't get into because people were so far into them. but i do love this site and i hope it stays active maybe if we had like a party in the shrieking shack for all students? something that we could all post to and interact i guess

i hadn't thought about those aspects... well how about we get to know when freedom comes around for the summer? set a date for a big event and have everyone returning happily. ...a party at the shrieking shack?

I've been super busy with work and school. But I'm hopefully gonna be more active now that school is out!! So anyone who had plots with ayden,damien or molly, ill get on those asap XD
