*---Maybe this time...I won't wake up from this nightmare Bodies packed tightly together on the dance floor, all with drinks in hand. Intoxication spread around that joint like wildfire. Hearts were racing, blood was pumping, and hands were groping at one another's bodies. The room spun around, flashing neon colors that hurt Laci's eyes. She dropped to her knees; the alcohol slipped from her hand and fell to the floor. No one bothered to notice. Her beer-soaked blonde hair fell messily into her face, covering her stormy ocean eyes. The girl struggled to get to her feet to escape the madness that she had been pressured into. Her hand grasped for something to support her, only to get a hold of another unstable body, one that had fallen victim to the power of alcohol.
Laci stumbled to the exit of Seven Sins Night Club and tripped, falling on her hands and knees once more. She heaved, hurling up anything that she had possibly eaten in the past twenty-four hours. The bouncer just watched in amusement, trying to catch a glance up the blonde’s skirt. Laci didn’t even notice as she crawled off into a dark alleyway to puke her insides up without wandering eyes. She couldn’t even remember how many drinks she had consumed. By the looks of it, it had been a handful too many. Blood dripped from her mouth and regret flooded her intoxicated mind. She had to stop doing this. It would become the death of her.
Laci tried to stand up once more, but her knees felt weak and buckled underneath her. She sat up against the brick wall; darkness surrounded her on all sides. The only stream of light came from the moon, reflecting off the puddle of blood that she had just coughed up. Her head throbbed as if she had just fallen down a flight of stairs, which she had accomplished. She massaged her temple with her delicate fingers and wiped the dripping blood off of the corner of her mouth onto the back of her hand. Laci closed her stormy blue eyes in an attempt to shut out the pain in her head.

It was late for most mortals but to the creature prowling the darkness it was still early. It had been some time since it had rained and in effect the child like vampire was covered in blood. Some of it days old, and some of it only moments. Though she was forever bound to her twelve year old body the bravest man would find this being fearsome. She moved through the dark passages with a dreary pace having no destination her wizened eyes glazed over as she listened to the night seeking out a potential victim.
Suddenly her eyes lit up as she found one only three blocks away. This time it was not her sense of hearing that found her prey, but her sense of smell. There was a good amount of blood here, but it smelled foul somehow. She stepped out of an alley near the scent in front of a night club. The bouncer started at the sight of her, and ran over to her. "Are you alright little girl?" A cruel smile spread across her small face. "Oh I'm doing great." She spoke in a cold tone. In a fraction of a second she had his ankle in her hand, and was dragging him into the alley where the scent was coming from.
His screams pierced the night, but the music the disc jockey was playing was far to loud for anyone inside to hear. She turned to the young girl only feet from her and the guard and grinned. She turned to the bouncer and with a flash she had thrust her hand into his chest cavity. With a sickening gurgling sound she tore his heart from his chest. She bit into it taking a sip. Then with a sour look on her face she spat it back out dropping his heart. "Far to many drugs. It's revolting." She turned to the girl forgetting about the bouncer entirely. "Your blood won't do I can smell the alcohol in it already."
She plopped down on the ground next to the girl and leaning up against her like a little sister might. She looked thoughtfully into the distance as her eyes glazed over again. She considered what to do with the girl wanting to have more fun with her than the usual. She turned to the girl looking her up and down considering her latest idea. "It seems I have a predicament here. Do I just kill you now? Do I take you and drain allof your blood once the alcohol is gone? Or do I ... oh no you wouldn't want that. Hmm...."

*---Maybe this time...I won't wake up from this nightmare A sickening scream slashed through Laci’s mind causing her to cover her ears with her hands. She wanted the noise to go away, to block out the screeching and keep the pain in her head to a minimum. The girl had her eyes squeezed shut, as if it would some how drown out the sound. The screaming became louder and louder, like the thing producing such horrid noises was walking toward her becoming closer to me with each step. Laci opened her eyes to be faced with surrounding darkness and the faint, metallic scent of blood.
With a rip she watched a hand dive into the chest of a man and bite into the organ that had been removed. Laci furrowed her brow as the two people before her doubled and spun around. She rubbed her eyes with her knuckles and blinked a few times to make sure she was seeing things properly. Focusing on one person at a time, she looked at them and failed her recognition. Lace’s jaw dropped slightly; she had no idea what was happening, her head hurt and she wanted to go home. The shorter of the two turned to face the girl, seeing that she was merely a child.
The scent of blood, stale and fresh, grew more prominent when the child sat next to her. Laci turned her head, getting a clear view of the blood soaked girl. Her blue eyes widened with fear. “A-are you alright?!” she stammered, thinking that the child was hurt, “We should get you to St. Mungos.” Laci tried to stand up, using the wall to hold her up. Her knees were weak and flimsy, barely able to hold herself up. Once vertical, a wave of nausea hit her, causing her to double over and puke once more. She wiped the blood from the corners of her mouth onto the back of her hand and plopped back down on the floor. The little girl spoke again, but this time her words frightened Lace. “You should really get to the hospital…” her voice trailed off.

Eli laughed at the girls worrying over her. This girl was in such a state she didn't even realize that her life was in danger. She had been about to jump up when the girl stood, but found it futile as she fell back to the ground. She ignored the blunt threat to her life still worrying over her. This was proving to be quite irksome. How was she to have fun with a victim that wasn't even smart enough to be scared.
This called for more dramatic means which was not something she did often. In a flash she stood in front of the girl glaring down on her. Her voice dropped to a tone far to low for any person never mind a small girl. "Fool none of this blood is mine." She struck out grabbing the girl by her hair and pulling her head up so that their eyes were level with each other. Her voice returned to the soft voice of a child. "Now we're going to go for a walk, and by the time we reach my manner you had better have me a good reason why I should let you live."
She smirked and with a quick movement she dragged the girl to her feet and began to steer her away from the alley. "Scream if you want call for help. If any one tries to stop me I'll kill them and I will still take you." Now she no longer looked at the girl she was far to busy scanning the area with her sense of hearing seeking out any other mortals that might get in her way. She wondered whether she might not just toss the girl to the horny werewolf that had just joined her clan. Surely he could find a use for her.

*---Maybe this time...I won't wake up from this nightmare Laci Ackerley’s hair was yanked by the bloody girl. A sharp yelp escaped her lips. It felt as if someone had just whacked her over the head with a hammer. Her stormy-ocean colored eyes grew big when the child said that none of the blood was hers. “T-that’s a lot of b-blood,” she blonde stammered, “A reason to let me live?” Confusion struck her as hard as the metaphoric hammer did. She stayed there, motionless and dangling by her hair for a moment, trying to piece together this scene. One of those muggle horror movies popped into her head and the scene started to come together.
Fear slammed into the girl, which wasn’t far from the usual because she was pretty much scared of her own shadow. This child seemed to resemble something close to satan at this moment in time. The little girl’s dark, hollow eyes frightened her, sending shivers up Laci’s spine. She was lifted to her feet, but her knees seemed to buckle under her weight. Wobbling forward, the street around her began to spin as if she was on an amusement park ride.
“I think I’d rather not scream. It doesn’t seem like the greatest idea,” Laci spoke quickly, her nervousness was obvious in her voice. “I don’t need anyone else getting killed, thank you though. And plus, I don’t think that’s so nice. I mean, isn’t murder the thing that is tearing the wizarding world apart? I think that if we cut out all of the violence, everyone would be much happier and I like being happy.” The girl went on one of her nervous-drunk rants. She had a habit of talking too much when she was in this state of mind.

Eli was getting bored with this girl fast. She wouldn't bring her more victems to kill in front of her and scar her more. Most girls would have to have been dragged away screaming. Perhaps this girl was stronger than others. This might make her suitable for Jinx's games or even Jetta's experiments.
Then the girl began talking about murder being bad. This girl had balls at least to say such things to such an obvious killer. "Dear child I have been around much longer than anyone you've ever met. Murder has always existing and it will never go away. All one can do is toughen up and learn how to kill so as not to be killed."
She pulled the girl into an alley way as she listened intently on the area. There didn't seem to be anyone outside from them in the area. "Jinx I need a door." She said out into the air then turned back to the girl. "Don't bother trying to escape my home has no windows and the doors only open up to other rooms the only way in or out is to have a door opened for you which no one will do." Just as she turned an open door appeared showing a dark but large living room with overstuffed grey velvet couches and armchairs. "Go on now."

*---Maybe this time...I won't wake up from this nightmare Laci’s intoxicated mind was spinning, her legs barely managed to support her own weight. Her heart was thumping rapidly in her chest and the thoughts in her head flew around recklessly. She tried to shake the little girl’s hand out of her curly, blonde hair. Laci could walk on her own, though she tripped or wobbled every few steps. The girl didn’t want any help and had no thoughts of running away.
After her drunk rant, confusion struck the blonde. How has a girl so small and so young been around much longer than herself? “But you’re only, like, twelve,” Laci said, slurring her words in the slightest. Tripping and falling to her knees, she looked up at the girl with her big, blue puppy dog eyes, her lips curving into a frown, “But we can try to make it go away, can’t we?” She picked herself up and kept walking at a slow and steady pace, paying attention to one foot at a time. The talk of killing as opposed to being killed didn’t phase her one bit.
Unsure of where she was going or where she was, the girl was pulled into a dark alley. Laci listened to the bloody little girl speak and smiled, “Who’s Jinx?” she asked curiously. “Aw, how nice. Someone has to open the door for us. That’s quite thoughtful of them.” Laci was not grasping this situation like she should have. Usually Laci would have been scared out of her mind in this situation, crying and pleading for her life, but drunk Laci was curious and slightly annoying. While under the influence she asked a lot of questions and just talked too much in general.
A door appeared out of thin air causing the girl’s jaw to drop in shock, as if she had never seen a door appear before, when in fact she had. Laci walked through the door and looked around. She had entered a large living room. It was dark and shadowy, much unlike any that the girl had ever seen. Whoever had designed this room should have thought about the fact there was no windows anywhere. The blonde plopped down on one of the gray couches relieved that she didn’t have to walk anymore.
