Rose walked into Flourish and Botts and took out her book list for Hogwarts. She was supposed to meet James here, but she still needed to get her books so it was a good idea to do it here. She looked around and searched for some of her books. " Spells for 6th years. " Rose whispered looking for it. She looked around and finally found it. She found one of her books and there was a couple of more. She waited by the front door for James with her book in her arms hoping James would help her find them.

[/size] "I really have to get going, sorry about that." James apologized to his friend and waved as he backed away, out of the joke shop and into the rainy street. He turned away and started to sprint towards Flourish and Blotts, trying his hardest not to get soaked. But it was a lost cause. When he got onto the sidewalk in front of the shop, his hair and and sweater was thoroughly soaked.
The bell tingled when he stepped inside, dripping onto the tiled floors. James almost bumped into Rose, the cousin that he was meeting, but quickly stopped before he bowled her over. "See, I told you I wouldn't be that late." he grinned, and then took off his wet jacket. James hung it on the coat rack beside the door, and then glanced at his watch. "Only.. ten minutes. So, what books do you need to find?"

Rosy is here.
Rose rolled her eyes as she saw James. " Yeah 10 minutes wow. And dont touch me. And these. " Rose said showing him the list. She backed away from him because she didn't want to get wet. She looked at him all wet and said " So.. Has anything happened yet? " Rose said hoping something had happened this week. She was bored all this week. She carried her book that she already got and waited for James to say something.

[/size] "Ooh, touchy touchy." James teased good heartedly, and then grinned hopefully so that she wouldn't be too angry with him. He shook his head and sent some water flying, and then laughed before quickly scanning the list. "This is easy. Come on, it'll only take about twenty minutes."
James headed over towards the aisles and hung a left down one marked 'S-U', which is where he hoped to find the sixth year Transfiguration text book.
"What do you mean has anything happened?" James asked absent mindedly, his eyes going past book after book until he came to the Ts. "The happy Potter bunch is doing just fine, and nothing exciting's really happened. What about you?" James reached out and picked up a blue textbook, only to find that it said fourth year. He put it back in it's place and kept searching.

" Your a jerk. " Rose said teasing him. She followed him and looked at the books. She looked around to find the store most likely empty. She looked at James and said " Well just my usual. Flirting here and there. " Rose said looking and looking at James. Rose went over to the Q's to find some quidditch books to read while she was bored. She grabbed a couple and walked back over.

James picked up the Year 6 Transfiguration and turned it over in his hands three times. It was exactly the right edition. He flipped through it for a moment and then closed it again, walking towards the place where Rose had wandered off to.
"You can take this." James said mischieviously, taking the Quidditch books out of Rose's hands and replacing them with the textbook. He loved Quidditch, and didn't even mind reading if it was about the sport. "As if I'm gonna do all the work for you. Dream on, sista." he wiggled his eyebrows humorously and then moved on towards the A-C.
