Lilly watched as Jack left. She noticed Mag must really like him.She looked back down at the table, listening to Mags little story about her being a singer, Lilly had always wanted to be one of those, but she had never really tried that stunt.
She laughed a little as Mag said she wouldnt let her escape, and she nodded in agreement. "I understand, perhaps we could..." she paused. What did she want to do, "Maybe you could start teaching me?" she finally said, she was ever so curious about dark magic.

Mag's eyes instantly widened and she laughed. They may have been fake, but there was humor written all over them "Me teach…? Oh, Merlin's Beard no, Lily. I'm sorry, it's just that my Dark Arts aren't up to standard as some--like you--may think. Anything else, is fine perhaps. But anything but that…" she explained. Now she was going to seem like a pretty pathetic Death Eater, but she didn't care. Everything else had really taken up her free time, instead of practicing the spells that her side so cruelly used. "Lily, I'm not like the others really, I'm not the one to ask that." She really didn't know what to say besides the truth, just to be upfront with her from the start.
She sighed though. "I must seem pretty pathetic for a Death Eater…" she mumbled, her dark-makeup covered eyelids drooping. She felt awful for not being more prepared, but Magdalene was a very busy person. She was even lucky that she could make it tonight. She looked like a dark person however, but that was mostly for sake of the OPera and performances. The past three years had really changed her, and that was now how she preferred to look. "I'm sorry, Lily..." she apologized. It seemed weak of her to do, but she couldn't help it
But she looked at her intently, rather than with shame on her face. "Why are you so facinated with the Dark Arts...? I'm not meaning to be rude and label you Lily, but you are Harry Potter's daughter, after all."

Lilly could tell this woman was differant than the rest.. or from what she knew of death eaters. She knew they were cruel and evil. Yet sat infront of her was one that was apologizing for not showing her a spell. She nodded ok to Mag, listening to her excuse. "Oh.. that's ok, i suppose we can think of something else" she finally said in a sweet voice.
Lilly could tell she was very truthful and upfront, and she respected this. She felt like she could trust her. Lilly turned to her when she called herself pathetic. "Well i don't think your pathetic, i mean.. well i wouldn't know, your just different from the others."
She listened to what Mag had said about her being Harry Potters daughter and being fascinated with the dark arts, she wondered how to explain. "Well, my mom and dad have always told me stories ever since i was little about the whole war thing, i never thought much about the spells they used till i started at Hogwarts. I had the defense against the dark arts lesson and they were teaching us about the uforgivable curses, and well i've always liked magic, and those were the ones that i was banned to learn. I don't know maybe its rebelion?Or the fact that i like magic. But i know for sure being Harry Potters daughter doesn't affect me one bit"

It was so hard to believe that this girl would turn out the way they wanted her too. Mag sighed with relief though, had she presented herself like this to anyone besides Lily, she would be made a laughing stock. No one really cared about her feelings, just her voice. But there were a few out there like Jack, who were showing her everything she needed. She looked to one of the windows and outside. She did have an idea, but was now really the best time to show the girl? She didn't know how Lily was going to react to this. "Do you mind if I show you something? It might freak you out a bit however…" she asked, stating a warning before hand. It was needed, as some people felt uneasy about it, even if they didn't know what it was. Her eyes were already strange enough.
When Lily said she didn't think that Mag was pathetic, her vision snapped back towards her. "Thanks…" she said. "You may as well know that I'm probably not a true Death Eater as well…" she added. They had said they would be upfront and honest about everything, and Mag figured the Lily was the safest one to tell around here. Mag also wasn't one to up and spill her words to someone, but so much was on her mind already, she figured that it would probably be nice to let some of it go.
Mag listened intently as she knew Lily had to her own words. Rebellion? Most teenagers grew out of rebellion, others that didn't, well they were the ones that ended up in some sort of dark position. She knew Lily would change throughout this entire process. She would become a weapon, a tool used against her father. Mag knew very well what a being tool felt like. "I'm sure it doesn't, I can tell that you're very different from everyone else Lily. But don't let them," here she meant Jack, Bellatrix, and all others who were in on the plot, "control you too much though," she said. I don't want you to end up some sort of servant or something… she though immediately after her words.

Lilly looked towards the window. Something that would freak her out? Curious she turned back to Meg. "Um sure, what is it exactly?" Lilly turned back towards the window, perhaps it was some sort of trick? she thought to herself. However she turned back to look at Meg as she continued to talk on their conversation.
"How can you not be a true one... you do have the mark.. don't you? How would you have entered without one" Lilly questioned, but she didn't want to go too much into death eater buisness, for one she might not understand it but secondly it might be private for Meg.
Lilly listened to what Meg said about control. Who was going to control her? "What do you mean... them? Who do you mean.. I don't understand.. im not being controlled.. am i?" she questioned getting worked up about it, she could be controlled but would she even know what if she was just being used as a weapon, what if she was being brainwashed into something that shouldnt be happening? She looked at Meg intently.

What is it exactly? Mag took that as a yes. "Just hold on for a moment please… it's one of those 'I can show you better than I can tell you' things…" Literally, that part was true. Usually, she had her eyes ready, but she didn't know what she wanted to be shown. But then it came to her mind, though this image would have no relevance to Lily or anyone else, it had great importance to her. She widened her already large eyes only a bit--and that was the uncomfortable part. She felt the whirring inside her head, a strange sensation. Then the pinwheel design pupils turned ever so slightly, the black middles of them disappearing, and showing they were hollow and glowing on the inside. Light was flooding out of them like a movie projector, and they were now showing the image of a young woman, almost identical to Mag. The image then started to sing, and Mag couldn't help but smile. Marni Vega, Mag's former best friend. Over the minute that she was being shown, the projection was faltering, due to the flickering of Mag's eyelids. Suddenly the projection was gone, and the pupils went back into place as they were before. "Now you know my special trick…" she said, looking at Lily's face, waiting for an expression.
"It's a very long explanation…" Mag said. "But I suppose you'll have some spare time," she added with a chuckle. "That is if you want to hear my story…" It wasn't a private matter, at least not anymore; Everyone who knew of her did, along with old school mates, and former friends, people like that. She didn't expect to have a child like her know. But if she did, Mag would tell her story. It would hardly have any of the flare or dramatics that normal people told it with, but it did have the plain and honest truth about how Mag, and her career, and her Mark came to be.
Oh crap… I said the wrong thing didn't I? she thought to herself. Mentally, Mag's slapped her face, and looked at Lily. "Oh dear, maybe I said the wrong words… I really don't mean anything by it Lily, trust me. I just got things confused, sometimes I get a little off-balance so to speak after I do that," she indicated her eyes. "I was merely combining my own experiences with this situation. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to alarm you or anything…" she said, quickly. God, she hoped she didn't screw this up. She placed a hand to her forehead, feeling a small pain coming on, and her eyes clicked closed. That hardly happened, but it would leave in a few seconds. "You have nothing to fear," she said, opening the eyes up again to look at the girl

Lilly was amused by the show, it was pretty impressive to her. "Wow, that was so cool" she finally said as it disappeared. "Was that you?" she said with a grin, the woman that sang did look an awful lot like Mag, and she was a pretty good singer. "Thats a pretty cool trick... i take it you did some sort of organ swap or something?" she questioned again, thinking yet again she was going in a little deep.
"I don't mind hearing your story, i mean i have all the time in the world at the moment" she said with a sigh, but then looked back up. "Could i have a look... at your mark i mean... i've never seen one" she had always wondered what the mark looked like.
Lilly calmed down a little when Mag reassured her that it was her misunderstanding. There was still a little voice saying that it was true but this time Lilly ignored it. "Oh well... thats ok then i suppose.." She smiled slightly.

Mag smiled, though she was rather surprised. Normally people were freaked out and speechless, but not this girl. And Mag was liking her more and more. When she asked if that was her, the smile faded. "No, that was my best friend Marni Vega. It was a month or so after my surgery; our first concert… and it was my first memory recording as well." She remembered that day so well, she had still been in grief over the loss of T.J., and Marni had been the one to persuade her to sing. When Lily asked about the organ swap, Mag was more shocked than surprised, but she nodded. People didn't generally want to know about the company, unless they needed transplants. It had a more bad reputation than good.
She rolled up her left sleeve, revealing the dark tattoo-like mark of a skull eating a snake, and watched look at it. Mag couldn't help but feel a bit disgusted. "I was born blind… no sight, just everything filled with darkness. From what I was told, I was abandoned in front of St. Mungo's Hospital, probably because I had no sight and was unfit for any pure-blood family…" she paused here, looking a bit pained. But she carried on. "I was raised in a Muggle orphanage, unknowing of what I was obviously. I had a great love for music, and an excellent voice--so they say. But once I started displaying my powers, one of the matrons there divulged to me that she too was magical. She found me a home, and at six years old, I left to live with them, a young pure-blood couple. Of course, I went to Hogwarts, sorted into Slytherin, which told me something about my family--if they were in that house too or not. Years passed and I graduated, surprisingly." It was at this she smiled at the memory. People did find it hard to believe that a young blind witch could pass all her classes. But now, it came time for the really difficult-bearing memories to begin. Mag knew she had to pull through it. "I had just turned seventeen when I met T.J. Vega, a real sweet boy, kind and charming.." The way she spoke about him implied her feelings for him that were now hidden deep inside her. If tears could fall from her eyes, they would have by now, just even thinking about him. "His father, a half-blood wizard, founded the bio-tech company, now known as ReaperCorp. "It was two months later that I was engaged, and had signed up for new eyes. I had been thinking that of course I would have to sign the contract, but there was a surprise that I didn't know about. My future father-in-law was going to give me my eyes, as a wedding present… However things went wrong, as they mostly do. The day I went in was also the day he died. When I found out from Marni, I regretted what I had done, because he had been rushing to get to the hospital so fast. I knew I would have to sign the contract. Remember this Lily, nothing ever comes for free. I mean nothing…" again she paused, for a bit of a breather. "And so I did… I became and employee of ReaperCorp, singing in their Opera, rather than paying money like normal people would, and because of Mr. Vega's involvement with the Dark Lord so many years ago, all transplant recipients are also in service…" There was one more detail Mag left out of her story, and that was where her own eyes came from--and that detail Mag hated. All organs were recycled from bodies, whether dying of natural causes, murder, or repossessions. "And so here I am today, three years later, a well-known singer, a spokesperson for a rising company, and talking to the Daughter of the famous Boy-Who-Lived…"
She noticed Lily calming down a bit, a good sign, considering she had screwed up a bit earlier. "I wouldn't let anything happen to you if anyone or anything tried. You are special Lily…" She had repeated those exact word that were once spoken to her in the hospital bed. The big sister role was getting more truthful by the word and Mag sighed.
((OoC: wow, didn't mean for it to be this long... lol...))

Lilly examined her mark as Mag told her her story. She went to touch it, hesistating slighty, wondering if the woman would mind, and thentraced the image with her finger. She glanced up now and then, too show she was listening, she could sense the woman had feelings for the boy called T.J, she could feel the pain in her words, she felt bad for her. She realized their was feelings for the boy when she said engagement. She listened intently, she was going to get the eyes for free? Then why was she sat here babysitting me? she thought, but decided not to interupt and rather listen to the endind. It wasn't as happy as she thought it was going to be.
She realized how hard life must really be for people, she had always had her family, her friends and had been braught up pretty well, and infront of her sat a woman who had pretty much the complete opposite. When she came to say that here she was sat infront of the daughter of the famous boy who lived Lilly groaned. But then let her finish her final scentence. Lilly started to speak. " I trust that you wont let anything happen to me.. i know you speak the truth i can hear it in your voice, but i am nothing special. I may be the daughter of the famous boy who lived, but i think your more special than me, you've gone through a lot. "

Magdalene felt Lily's fingers against her skin, and she tried not to pull away. She hardly let people touch her, unless she trusted them enough, plus it kind of tickled. Throughout her story, Mag had felt those emotions come back to her that she had long ago. Three years wasn't a long time, but considering her predicament, it felt like it. It felt like seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, hours to days, days to weeks, and so on. She was trapped and there was nothing she could do to get out of it. Mag noticed the saddened look upon Lily's face. The story didn't turn out like originally planned… Mag knew that face and thought when it always came up. "I made a choice, and I have to live with it… no matter how much I regret it," she finally said.
Mag could only chuckle after she heard Lily's groan. It wasn't easy being famous, that she knew all too well. When Lily spoke, Mag tilted her head with a small smile. "Thank you…" she said quietly. Special. There was another one of those word that people used to describe her, especially her voice. Honestly Mag didn't think she was that great, but everyone disagreed with her. Suddenly, and idea passed through her mind. "You know, the annual Opera is coming up. I was thinking if you would like to come, you can be my guest. I'll be on stage, but you'll have front row, and backstage before and after access." It seemed like a nice gesture, plus Lily would get to see the type of people Death Eaters and their colleagues really were. "We'll have to ask Jack to let you out, but you'll be with me almost the entire night..." she added.
Then she realized. "And please not a word of anything I just told you to him. I wouldn't want to hurt him with my past." By past, she meant past relationships, and by that she meant T.J.

"Do you regret the choice you made? I mean it cant be all bad can it?" Lilly said out of curiousity, she thought that Mag would have had a perfect life going ahead of her with all the singing and stuff.
She listened to her offer. "Really... you want me too come??" she smiled. "But do you think Jack will let me..?" she finally sighed, she felt like she was going to be stuck in this house forever. "I dont mind being stuck with you.. i think your pretty cool" she added on the end.
"Oh i promise not to say anything, i don't normally but ill keep it secreat just for you" she smiled. She hoped Mag thought she was trustworthy, she usually gossiped about the gossip, but she didn't want to kick anything off.

Mag sighed. "It has been good. It's been great in fact. But I also have to live with several things. One, my eyes… they aren't just my eyes or ReaperCorp's eyes…" she said trailing off. She didn't know how to put this next part to make it less gruesome. "These are my mother's eyes… they took them from her… body, and modified them for the prototype set of the Cornea Plus replacement eyes…" She seemed to be shaking a bit as she said this. It was too horrible to think about. She even had her mother's memories, the last things Marguerite saw before she had been killed. But she continued on. "And two, if I even think about quitting, a Reaper will be there to repossess the eyes. Like I said before, nothing comes for free…" It was hard to even think about quitting, her career had just started. But with any job, there was the thought of retirement.
"Of course. It'd be nice having a true friendly face around," she admitted. Mag was used to the crowd, but a fresh face would really liven things up a bit. Plus the Opera was filled with high class-society, mostly snuck up snobs. With Lily there, she thought it wouldn't be so bad. "I shouldn't see why not, and if he doesn't, I'll just have to persuade him I guess," she said with a little bit of a wicked smirk. She finally pulled her arm back, and covered it with the sleeve. "Really?" she asked. No one had ever really called her cool before, but then again, she hadn't been around teenagers in quite a while.
Mag seemed to sigh with relief, but became a bit tense when she heard that Lily usually gossiped. The promise however seemed to remain intact. She didn't want to break Jack's heart, just like hers had been broken so many times before. There were feelings there, she just was afraid about how strong those feelings might get.

Lilly went quiet. "Oh... well .. that good i suppose" she wasn't sure on what to reply to the fact that this woman had her mothers eyes. However, she learned something, never swap a body part. "I suppose your stuck then, with the whole ReaperCorp, and as you say, it isn't too bad, you get to do what you love best." Lilly smiled a bit.
She too retracted her arms back when Mag did. "Haha, i'm sure if im good he will let me, i mean how far can i run if im trapped in a whole theartre full" she joked, she didn't really know if she would truly run for it, she would have to be in the position to think of a last miniute thing like that.
"But, yes i promise not to spill a word, it can be .. our little secreat." she beamed. "And yes your pretty cool, i mean your practically a famous person" she grinned, "but obviously it will take a lot too beat how famous i am, where ever i go its always the same thing. "oh look its the potters daughter" urgh" she said mumbling away into her own little world.

Mag was quiet for the rest of the topic. She had brought up things that she would've never brought up before. It felt good to let one how life could be such a cruel thing, but with thinking about everything, Mag felt as though she needed to go home. Where was he? She looked around at the kitchen, and remembered that all she had to do was tell the oven. She wasn't hungry. She hardly ever ate anything, which kept her figure in check. Not healthy, but Mag never had an appetite since the time she was around sixteen. She looked at Lily, and asked, "Are you hungry?" She wanted to be a proper host, though it wasn't her house.
The young singer rolled her eyes with a smile. "Not very far I can assure you. There are always extra security precautions… Reapers are at every entrance, and almost everyone has personal bodyguards…" she explained. It was rather hard to believe that so many people could fit into there, "And it couldn't help to be good. He said you were free to do whatever you wanted…" she added with a wink. The eye made a faint clicking sound, softer than it did with the two combined.
She practically was, but with the uprising of organ recipients out there, along with ReaperCorp's ever growing heroism, fame was rising for her. "Well, I probably will be almost there soon, don't you think?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. But she couldn't help but give a very small smile as Lily complained about being recognized everywhere she went

Lilly shook her head. "No.. thanks" she had lost her appetite amongst the midst of getting kidnapped and the fact she was trapped in the house. She put a small smile on though, she could tell the woman was only trying to be nice. "Maybe later.." she added to show that it wasn't her fault she wasn't hungry.
"So many in one place? That must be nerve wrecking.. although if i went to the concert no doubt i will be recognised instantly. You don't think they'll try to kill me do you?" she said, her childish fears had always been there, she knew it was dangerous to be labeled a Potter, i mean look where she was now.
"But yes, i think you will take my place as famous, though i don't care, its not all great" she laughed, "I think everybody will love you, i mean your ever so pretty, and i bet you have an amazing voice like your friends" she added.
