"Yes, I understand. Everything that you've been through I guess…" she figured. Mag knew it wasn't anyone's fault. She placed a hand inside the pocket of her elaborate robes, and pulled out a pocket watch. She flipped it open and checked the time. She wondered how long it would be until business would be done, no doubt she would have to get back soon, everyone would wonder where she had gone to again. Magdalene always had a way of finding herself outside of the Tower when she had free time. Sighing, she put the watch back and her eyes clicked.
Mag shook her head. "After you get used to it, it's perfectly fine…" she explained. Three years had given her enough time to get used to it, but the first opera was extremely nerve wracking. "Before the show starts is when the butterflies kick in, but once you're up on stage, it all goes away." She loved the feeling of performing. It always took her mind off of everything, but when the show ended, that was when reality came back out of the darkness. "Oh, we can fix that easily…" she said. Mag was a wonder when it came to appearance changing. "I can make you look completely unrecognizable for one night--or for a while, if you want…" she added.
Mag could only look away again and smile. "Thank-you again Lily. You're ever so kind…" she couldn't help but repeat the words. She was a rising star, all thanks to her best friends. Billboards, posters, she covered the world, and Marni was supposed to have it happen to. But like she said in her story, nothing ever went like it was supposed to. "I wish she was here to meet you. I'd imagine she'd like you almost as much as I do," she said the smile faltering.

"Do you have somewhere you need to be?" Lilly asked, as Mag checked her watch. She didn't want to be a bother. "You can go if you would like, i have nowhere to be. Even if i wanted too i will still be stuck here" she said with a little smirk.
"Well either way, if they notice me or not, ill just stick with you. They will all notice im not one of them anyway. I dont have a mark or anything" she said with a small smile. It didn't bother her really, as long as she wasn't left on her own where she would be vulnerable.
"Me.. kind? Only when i want to be." she smirked again, she was always mean to others, especially at school. She loved the fact nobody would dare try anything on with her. "You like me..? thats a good sign i suppose" she added.

Mag looked up suddenly, a bit embarrassed that she had been caught. "No, it's just my employers get worried about me. I'm surprised I haven't gotten a call. I'm a very dear commodity to them," she said. "But, I can stay. The thought of leaving you alone in this house…" Mag shuddered. Each moment she was in this house, Mag felt strange. "I don't like it…" She wished that everything didn't have to come to this. Keeping this girl locked up. She could understand revenge, but having a child in on it. It was okay for Mag, everything was all too late for her.
Mag nodded understandingly, but she did want to do a makeover. It was something she hadn't done in a very long time, not since Marni was still around. "They won't hurt you with me. I can guarantee you that. And if they try to hurt me for protecting you, the Company will have no choice but to kill them…" she said, her voice becoming serious. "And not everyone has marks Lily. They may be supporters, but they aren't all in the service…" she said. "You can blend in so easily.
Mag chuckled slightly. "Oh, I could certainly tell that, but there is something more, something you're showing right now…" Mag said. "And of course I like you, why wouldn't I? You haven't done anything to me…"

"why whats wrong with this house?" Lilly said, she knew she had only sat in the kitchen, but to see Mag feel uncomfortable in her made her feel it too. She wondered what was wrong with it, it was just a random house after all... wasn't it?
Lilly nodded. "Well thats ok then, but i don't want to be trouble or anything. If your sure... and if we convince Jack then i'd be glad to come."
"What am i showing?" Lilly said a bit confuzed.. she was just being polite and nice to the woman.. but maybe there was more than just respect. "Well some people have a knack for taking a strong dislike to me..." she added without saying anything more.

She didn't know who's house this was before? Mag knew the girl was completely serious by the confused tone that she had. Mag's eyes widened and the projection opened once more. This time it was a different face, a snake-like face, with slit-like pupils in his eyes, and slits for noses. She didn't even know how she had this image, but it was there. "This house belonged to him Lily. He killed in this house, first his muggle father and his family…." she said. She didn't want to say his name. "This is Jack's father's house…" she finally said. Mag was raised not to say the name, and she was rather quite glad of it, after hearing about everything that had happened before she was born.
"Nonsense, you will not be trouble Lily," she said firmly and for the final time. "You are my guest, you will not be hurt. If people see you with me, they know you are lucky and special." She beamed. Hmmm, to convince Jack. She didn't know how to go about that, but she was sure to figure out something. Mag was very clever.
"A heart…" she said simply. Mag could tell that without hesitation, she did it as well. "Well, maybe they just aren't seeing your true colors, because your hiding them. I'm taking a guess here, but I'm usually very good at figuring people out…"

"Voldemorts?" she paused. "Oh... sorry" she said realising what she had said, she knew people like Mag didn't say his name. He killed his family... in this house? she thought to herself. "I can see... why your uncomfortable now" she added on the end, it felt a bit awkward now.
"Well i will love too come" she beamed, "I can't wait" she added on the end trying to surpass the awkwardness. That was her final word on the matter, she would make sure she could get to go.
"A heart? Everbody has a heart... it just depends when you want to use it" she said in a rather intelligent voice, god she sounded like her dad when she said things like that. She wondered when she would be able to go home, it could be ages. "Do you think.. ill be able to leave in time for Hogwarts?" she said out of the blue.

Magdalene nodded. She had nothing against the former Dark Lord, but it was slightly unsettling to be here. And to leave Lily all alone while Jack was gone…? No, she couldn't bear to think about it. "Yes," she said, flinching only very slightly so that the girl wouldn't notice. It was rather silly to be frightened of a name or something, but after all the terror… Mag was lucky she was born only a few months after the war had ended, or she considered herself lucky for that. "It's alright, I'm just not used to hearing it a lot… I expect that if I hang around enough, it'll grow on me…"
Mag smiled and nodded. She would have to be sure, so she could save the seat, or seats, if Jack wanted to come too. No doubt he probably wouldn't. The crowd might have been his father's former supporters, but that's all they were--former. They would be considered blood traitors now, probably, not only because their loyalty now was gone, but it was to the man that put on the fine event. "I hear that a lot. It's the most anticipated event ever…" she said smiling.
She had been thinking about the whole night when Lily had spoke, an intelligent tone to her voice. Just like a teenager, she thought. She knew she had that attitude when she was younger, and though not being around teenagers a whole lot, Mag was pretty much used to it. Even she still used it when she seemed to act childish. But Lily's question snapped her back and she suddenly looked a bit pained. "I don't know Lily. I honestly don't. I can't see the future…"

"Oh... I see, we are allowed to say it at home" Lilly knew too many people had been scared of the name not many chose to say it, yet as always the Potter and Weasly family did it was just some other name but a little bit more famous.
When Mag had said her answer to the question, Lilly sighed. It looked doubtful and she had only a few weeks till they left for Hogwarts, she sat in silence unsure on what to say or do. And then it finally sunk in, she was going to be stuck here for a while.

She nodded. "I figured…" Mag said. She brushed back some of her dark hair, and clicked her eyes again. "My parents weren't like yours… they didn't want to get involved in fighting. While the war was going on, they had lived in France, or somewhere on the continent. Despite being pure-blooded, my parents didn't really care for the new regime that he was trying to establish. They did seem to care who was pure-blooded, a half-blood, or something else. All they really cared for was me and my safety…" she said, images of her parent's faces appearing in her mind. She took on a bit of a vacant expression, though still as there.
Hogwarts. She remembered those days, not the sights of course. It was just darkness for her in those days. But she remembered everything else. Hanging out with Marni and T.J., Hogsmeade trips. Everything seemed perfect, despite the fact that she couldn't see it all. "I'm sure that you can though. There are still plenty of things that you need to be taught, and not by us…" she said. Now, Mag wasn't sure how to ask this question, and once again she felt a bit embarrassed. "Why don't you tell me about Hogwarts… I don't have much visual memories about it…."

She listened in about the part of her parents. "Well at least they cared for you and your safety, thats a good thing" Lilly smiled.
"Hogwarts...? Well its like a huge castle, its all lit up in the dark. Theres loads of places, like the common rooms. Though i've only ever been in the Slytherin common room..Oh and the great hall, it has like huge long tables for all the houses, and up above is a fake sky and it changes with the weather and time of day and stuff, and usually theres floating candles. And thats about it, its really like magical, Its great. I love it she wasn't really good at describing things but she thought she did her best. "What one were you in.. i mean like slytherin or whatever?

Mag smiled. "Well, I'm sure that you're parents are the same way. I'm sure they care for you, and love as much as they do your brothers. We do want you here Lily, but they are your parents…" she said. She didn't want Lily to forget where she came from. Jack might think otherwise, but he didn't grow up having what Lily and Mag had--family. You could replace your family with a new one, but the old one never really went away. "You don't have to like them or whatever, but just think about it every once in a great while…" she added.
Mag's eyes shut as she tried to visualize it. It really wasn't working for her as she hadn't seen it and it wasn't already captured in her eyes. "It's sounds fantastic, perhaps I'll have to come and see it someday…" she said. Marni tried describing it as well, along with T.J. but they weren't good at it either. She looked at Lily, her eyes opening. "I was a Slytherin, although I hardly acted like it. They called me one of the reformed ones, considering that after the War, Slytherins weren't all bad as they were anymore…"

Lilly sighed, she knew deep down she loved her parents.. and possibly her brothers too. She missed their constant moaning, and then her cousin Rose coming round and mathering her dad for him to teach her quidditch. She didn't realise she would, but now that she thought about it they were still a part of her, no matter what they had gotten her to where she was today and she couldnt change that no matter what. She could cover it up and tell no-one who she was, but she would still know, and it would always be their, whether it was to haunt her she didn't know.
"Yes it is lovely. And yes you should... i don't know how you will be able to get in, but you would love it" Lilly beamed hiding back all the emotions of her remeberance of her family, though it was easy to read Lilly like a book. "Wow, I love Hogwarts, its one of the best things in the world" she added.

Mag seemed to know that Lily was hiding her true emotions about the whole situation. It seemed to be difficult for her. Though she was to be a part of this new 'family', Mag was having second thoughts about it. Sure she would help out, but did Mag really want a place in world domination? Not really, she had a career, and that was also being threatened. She had a family, not biological, not adoptive, but she loved them. Even though they were gone, they were still her family. No one could ever replace them. Just like she, Jack, and other Death Eaters could not replace the Potters as Lily's true family.
"Oh there are bound to be a few ways…" she said, her eyes literally glowing and with a mischievous glint in them as well. Hogsmeade wasn't that far from the castle, and with a short journey up the path, Mag would be able to see her school for the first time in a long time. She then remembered a lot of first sights in her life since her surgery, and this one made her the most anxious. She could see the castle that she had lived in for seven years, see the halls and classrooms that she shared with others, actually know where she was going without someone having to guide her or lead her away from a wall or a pillar.
Mag suddenly felt a vibration and she pulled out the cell phone she was given as a ReaperCorp Employee--whether you were magical or muggle, everyone had them. She held up a finger to Lily, indicating that it would only take one second, or minute. It all depended on who it was and what they were to be talking about. She listened to the voice of Mr. Sebastian Vega on the other side of the line and she furrowed her eyes a bit. "Yes, sir… I understand. Can I please have a few more minutes? There are a few things that I need to take care of…" she said. The voice seemed to be a bit irritated, but Mag needed to see if Lily was going to be alright. She hung up the phone and put it back in the pocket.
"It seems I do have to take my leave now Lily. Will you be alright here? I can send one of my assistants to stay with you until Jack comes back…" she suggested.

Lilly too had figured a way up to the school.. Hogsmeade. Though you couldnt see much until to got up to the castle, but it would do. It wasn't like she wanted a guided tour or anything. Lilly decided to let this conversation drop and then heard the phone go off. She nodded ok when Mag said it would only take a second.
She tried not to listen in but failed miserable because the whole house was silent, nothing but the ReaperCorp Employee and Mag talking. And Lilly knew she had too go. Another babysitter? Lilly thought she'd had enough of meeting death eaters and such. "No thanks, ill be fine don't worry" she said holding back the sigh and putting on a smile.

She had to go, and she didn't want to. Back to the world of bondage that she had been kept in for the past three years. Mag held back her own sigh as she placed her hand on her lap. Just a few more minutes of sitting there. Lily may not have wanted it, but she would leave someone behind, just to make sure about everything. She wanted Lily to be safe.
Mag stood up and sighed, taking the edges of her hood, and putting it back up. The ivory toned face become shadowed, and her eyes seemed to brighten up as the darkness came over. She pushed the chair back and looked around to make sure that everything seemed to be okay. She walked over to Lily's side of the table and placed a pale hand on the girl's shoulder. "Well, I'll see you around, I guess…" Well this was kinda hard. Mag was never any good at good-byes, even if it was just as simple as saying it. "Remember what I said Lily, and don't forget to talk to Jack about the opera…" she added, turning to leave.
She took one more look at the girl, eyes flashing, letting the memory record for storage and playback. There was no doubt in Magdalene's mind that she cared for Lily, but she didn't think that it would actually be this much. She wished that they didn't have to do this, that there could be some other sort of revenge. "Bye Lily…" she finally said, walking out opening and closing the door quickly. She looked to the cloaked person that seemed to have been waiting this whole time for her, and saw another one. "Stay outside… and just make sure she's alright… do not let her see you. Leave when you see this man come in," she muttered to the newer one. She projected a headshot of Jack. The figure nodded.
One stayed behind, sitting on the porch step, to be unseen. Mag sighed with a bit of relief and she looked up at the house. Then with a loud crack. She was gone.
