In the distance from the carnival grounds at the top of a tall tree sat the bloody twelve year old girl, but looks can be deceiving. This was no child, in fact this creature was far older than the majority of the others that walked the earth. In her days as a mortal child she had been thought a demigod with an insatiable blood lust. This girl was here to slaughter people just for her own amusement.
She knew that two years ago the fair had been attacked and a few dozen people had died. She knew that no one knew who had committed the crime, and in effect were still a bit on edge. She had every intention of exploiting this weakness. The only difference was this time there would be more deaths and she would be seen. She wanted people to know what they needed to fear. She wanted her victims to cower in fear at the sight of her.
Here in this place that held people who stood on both sides of the coming war she would make sure that people knew that no one was safe from her. The man who had attacked the carnival two years previous had told her how to spot the big players in this magnificent game, and she hoped to draw some of them out in this night. This night would not soon be forgotten by the wizarding world. Perhaps if she was lucky the fair would no longer be held out of fear.
She lept down from her perch and walked determinately into the grounds. A couple stood at the entrance not noticing her. In a blur of moment there throats were torn open and they fell to the ground silently choking to death on their own blood. People didn't take notice of her until she pounced on a young child sinking her teeth deep into the flesh of his shoulder. His screams caused others to turn toward the commotion.
When Eli dropped the lifeless corpse to the ground many near to her screamed out and tried to flee, Unfortunately for them they were not even a fraction as fast as she was. With in moments a large pool of blood had spread over the ground beneath the archway marked entrance, bodies scattered all over the place. As she strolled through the grounds some tried to run away screaming while others fell to their knees and begged for mercy.
Mercy was not a word in this creatures vocabulary. She enjoyed killing far to much. Some were dead before they even knew that they were really in trouble while others took a really long time to die suffering all the while. She walked out of the house of mirrors that now had blood splattered all over it. You could barely see any of her skin any more she was so drenched in the thick crimson substance.
She was merely toying with her prey as she awaited a real challenge to seek her out. Surely there'd be some self proclaimed hero that would feel obligated to defend the innocent people. If not at least a criminal believing himself to be top of the line and looking to prove himself. Either way she did not care she just desired more fun and more blood. Now over a hundred rotting corpses were strewn through out the park. She sat on a bench draping her arm around the shoulders of a headless body To wait.
