revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins Robert nodded slowly twice. "I - I know but, what they need i their mother. They know something is wrong, they know that you are gone." It was funny how the two of them would go back and forth like this. Guilt was something they could easily lay on each other. Kelsey had more things to guilt him with than he had on her but, Robert knew he had enough. Besides, this wasn't the plan. It had been the plan, to take Bellatrix down from the inside but, not like this. Now, it was her turn to guilt him.
Robert huffed like a little child as Kelsey spoke. He knew what she said was true. Bellatrix would probably kill them, all of them. She'd probably save him for last and make him watch. He sighed, rubbing his forehead. He glanced at the door. He should just leave, pretend this didn't happen. Robert couldn't just go home after all this, and lie to all of them, again. He was really done with all that. Robert didn't want to go back, not to that. "How am I suppose to do that? I can't just go home and pretend this didn't happen?" He frown, shaking his head. "...I can't and I won't do it. I won't lie to them again."
He snorted. Robert wasn't worried about getting killed, he was almost counting on it. He should have just taken her and dragged her to the fireplace with him. Who cares about Bellatrix? His family was missing a member, a very important member. He would gladly exchange Kelsey for his life if he had to. Robert would do that in heart beat. Robert silently watched her, feeling a pain in his heart as she kissed him and started to walk away. He stepped into the corridor. He looked between the direction he should go in, and the direction Kelsey was going. Of course he was going to do something stupid, why wouldn't he?
Robert turned and followed Kelsey. "You know telling me not to do anything stupid is not going to do any good, right?" he called as he got close. If she thought he was letting go of her that easy, she thought wrong. There was no force in the world, aside from death, that was going to keep him from getting his daughter back. Things just weren't the same without her. He needed her there, to keep him from doing stupid things or making him be honest with himself, and everyone else.

Robert was trying the old guilt trip again. This made Kelsey slightly angry. It was not her fault that all of this had happened. If she had it her way she would be home with her children and not fighting with order members day after day. "I know they need me and I need them. However, it is impossible for me to go and see them without Bellatrix killing off everyone in the family. She had Death Eaters watching both my house and your house. They would know if I went home. I can't risk it," Kelsey sighed, yet again looking at her father with sad eyes.
Kelsey knew her father wouldn't be able to keep this a secret. The poor bloke was just like her and had a hard time keeping his mouth shut. Kelsey wished she had her wand right now. If she had it then she would be able to modify his memory like she did the last time when he found out about the ministry take over. Now she didn't have a wand to do this and her father would go off and tell everybody that she was alive. Then Bellatrix would go on a killing rampage and kill everyone involved. There was nothing good that could come out of this. Nothing good at all.
"Dad, you have to try and not tell. Please! I know it may be hard but you have to try. If everyone finds out about this then everyone will die. Bellatrix is not going to show any mercy at all," Kelsey sighed, her eyes pleading with her father. He was so stubborn and thick headed at times. He was where Kelsey had inherited these traits from. Why couldn't he just keep this a secret? He had kept many secrets from the family before. How was this any different?
As Kelsey walked down the hall she pleaded in her head that her father would make the smart choice and go home. She didn't want anyone to die because of her. She was fine sacrificing her life and happiness so that her family could survive. However, her father couldn't seem to realize the fact that this was for the best. The next thing Kelsey knew, Robert was right next to her. Kelsey stopped walking and groaned. He was like the plague and just kept coming back.
"Dad you need to leave! I can't go home with you now go!" Kelsey snapped, glaring at him from behind her mask. She was getting frustrated with him because he would not listen to her. "I want to go home. You know I do but I can't. Even if you manage to get me home undetected, Bellatrix will know I am gone and will drag me back with her, killing all of you guys in the process. Do you honestly want that? I know I don't! I know you want me home but it is just not possible. I won't go home with you. We can meet in secret every now and then but other than that I can't be with you guys. You have to keep this a secret," Kelsey sighed, standing her ground. After saying that, she mentally prepared herself for whatever her father would say. She knew that he would try and guilt her into going home. It was what he always did. If they kept this up, they would be standing there arguing with each other for hours and they would get no where.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins Robert blinked and looked away. Why hadn't he thought about that before was beyond him. That was just fantastic. He had left Mandy there with out any...but, he could leave. Robert would never forgive himself if anything happened to her, Talia, any of them. He hoped Mandy left, went somewhere safe. Once he got back there, those Death Eaters were next on his list. "Son of a bitch," he muttered.
"Kels, don't you get it? I. Can't. Lie. I just can't." Robert frowned. "I promised that I wouldn't lie, that I wouldn't keep secrets. I've broken that promise again, I can't do it again. I won't," he said. Besides, it was not lik they all were going to go scream to the world that Kelsey was live. It would be kept secret to the immediate family. That was it. If Mandy wanted, it would be kept between the two of them. He just could not go on acting like she was dead. Someone would know the difference in him.
"I can't leave you," he said, shaking his head. "You can't make me, no one can. I'm staying with you until you come home with me. Even if I have to bloody drag you there," he replied, staring her down. Meeting in secret is something you do with a girlfriend in your fifth year, not to see your daughter. There was no way in hell Robert was going to stand for that. No, he would stand his ground until he had her worn down. Kelsey was coming home, and that was the end of it.

Hearing her father say he can't lie made anger swell up inside of her. When did he all of a sudden grow a conscious? Kelsey began to think that it was the new baby softened him up a lot. Robert used to be the master at lying and deceiving others. Why oh why did he have to straighten up his act now? Kelsey needed him to use his lying skills to keep her secret. It was for the good of the family. Why couldn't he see that? Why did he have to be so thick headed?
Kelsey sometimes wondered what life would be like if she didn't make up with her parents. Would she even be in this predicament? No, she wouldn't be. Her father would have made her join the death eaters because he wouldn't have turned his life around. She wouldn't be married or have children because he would have made her get an annulment and end her young marriage. Everything would be different, even Kelsey would be different. She would have turned into a bitter, resentful person. She was glad that she did make up with her parents. It opened up a world of opportunities for her.
"Oh sure, you grow a conscious when I need you to lie the most! Thanks dad," Kelsey glared, resent dripping from her voice. Now what was she suppose to do? Her mind was a huge cloud of confusion at that point and she had no idea as to how to act. Either choice she made would result in some kind of disaster. With so much to lose, how could anyone make such a choice? Her father wasn't helping her choose either. Him pressuring her to go home was not helping anything at all.
"I can't with a good conscious go home willingly! There would be too much to lose if I did. The entire family would parish and it would be on my hands. I won't have that!" Kelsey said, beginning to storm away from her father. Why couldn't he see this? He was being very selfish about this after all. He only wanted her to come home because he couldn't live with knowing she was alive and not with him. He wasn't thinking about the rest of the family who would die if she were to go home. "You can drag me home kicking and screaming but it doesn't mean I will stay. First chance I get I will leave if you do so. You can certainly count on that," Kelsey said as she continued to storm away from her father. Hopefully he would get the hint and just give up. That is all she wants is for him to give up and go home where he would be safe.

Robert frowned. "So, you want me to lie to your mother, even after I've promised her I wouldn't? I can't break that promise to her again. I'm not getting a divorce because you want me to lie," he spat at her. Damn teenagers. Why did she have to get an attitude him with now? Robert was trying to make up for his past mistakes, and she was preventing him from trying to make up for the biggest one of them all by being so bloody difficult.
"Nothing is going to happen to them," Robert reiterated through gritted teeth. He would sent the family away, most definitely Mandy and Talia. Vince and Anton would more than likely argue with him and wind up staying at home. There was really nothing Robert could do about those too. Robert was detemined to think that he could protect them. He would die for them, and ultimately he felt in the end of all this, that just might happen. Robert glare. "Fine, kicking and screaming you will go."
As he followed her, Robert grabbed her robe and pulled her back down the hall. Hey, she said he could drag her home, and that's exactly what he was going to do. There was no way around. Both of them were just too stubborn to actually compromise with each other. Robert very soom became aware of the Death Eater that guarded the fireplace. He seemed awfully surprised when Robert appeared, literally dragging Kelsey with him. Robert dropped Kelsey, but not before shooting a spell in her direction to prevent her from going anywhere. The Death Eater looked between Robert and Kelsey. Robert stood staring at the Death Eater, ready to strike. He waited, just to see what Death Eaters did these days. If he were still a DE, he wouldn't be standing there looking at a fellow DE get dragged by some guy. He would have killed him by now.
"Are you going to let us through, or are you going to stand there all day with your thumb up your ass?" Robert said toward the Death Eater, who finally came round to the situation. He sputtered some crap about having orders to kill who ever tried to use this fireplace. Robert rolled his eyes, of course. He grabbed Kelsey by the arm, knocking off that stupid mask purposefully, and shoved her into the fireplace. Turning around, Robert caught the Death Eater who had now decided to spring into action. Robert deflected the DE's curse, and cast the cruciatus curse at him. Flying toward the DE, who was now doubled over in pain, Robert pinned him to the far wall, while pointing his wand at the DE's temple.
"Hurts, doesn't it?" Robert said darkly, reverting back to his..dark side. "Wishing I just killed you? Well, sorry. I can't do that. See, you are going to relay a message for me." The DE, who was groaning in agony, nearly screaming only nodded. "That's a good lad. I want you to tell Bellatrix something for me. Tell her that Robert says, fuck you. Oh, she'll more than likely kill you..just so you know," Robert said, releasing the DE from his hold and the curse. He turned around, only to see some other Death Eater walk in. Robert paused and glanced at the fire place. He shouldn't have paused. This DE gauged the situation quickly, and shot some curse at Robert, it hit him and a shooting pain went up his arm. Robert blindly shot something in the DE's direction, and dived into the fireplace and muttered a location - home.

Kelsey understood that her father didn’t want to lie to the family again. It was very honourable of him to want to try and make things work with her mother by keeping his promise not to lie. However, Kelsey really needed him to lie, just this once. Wasn’t there an exception to the rule, just this once? After all, it was almost a life or death situation here. “Dad come on. Just this once I need you to lie. Mom will understand! I am begging you please. I will explain everything to her when all of this is over but right now I need you to go and to leave me here. It is for the best of everyone! I barely ask you for anything and I am asking this of you. Please, if you love me you would do this”, Kelsey pleaded as she gave her father the old puppy dog eyes that she always gave him when she wanted something. Hopefully he would give into this and just go home where he would be safe.
Kelsey shook her head as he said nothing would happen to them. She knew something terrible would happen if this continued. This old man needed to stop being stubborn and start listening to her. She continued to storm down the hall, hoping that her father would take the hint and leave her be. Then, Kelsey heard him say that she would go kicking and screaming. Before she knew it, she was being grabbed by her robe and pulled down the hallway. She began to try and resist his pulling but he was much stronger than her. She tried to get her robe off of her body but sadly failed since she was basically being chocked by the neck of the robe since he was pulling it. Before she knew it she was being dropped to the ground and unable to move.
“For fuck sakes you bloody git, undo this charm!” Kelsey screamed, laying on the floor. She watched as her father began to insult the Death Eater and then she was grabbed again and shoved into the fireplace. She watched as her mask fell to the floor and knew that the Death Eaters would have a clear view of her face. Then curses began to fly and she watched the Death Eater side of her father come out. She felt a chill go up her spine as her father spoke cruelly and acted like an animal. Then her father came back and she heard him mutter one word, home.
The familiar feeling of flooing came over her as they were engulfed with green flames and whisked off through the network. In just the blink of an eye she found herself looking into the living room of her parent’s house. Still being under the charm, Kelsey was unable to move out of the fireplace without her father’s assistance. Instead, she simply glared at the man who just rescued her from the Death Eaters like he did the worse thing in the world. She was so mad at him at that moment that she couldn’t even think. He basically just signed their death certificate.
“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!?” Kelsey roared, her eyes like daggers. Her whole face was red like her hair, indicating that her anger was nothing to mess with. She couldn’t believe this. “Not only will those Death Eaters tell Bellatrix that I am gone but they will know that they took me here and she will be here in a matter of minutes. You basically just killed this entire family! Are you happy now? ARE YOU FUCKING HAPPY NOW?!” Kelsey glared, her eyes full of fresh tears. These were not tears of sorrow but tears of anger and frustration. She felt so out of control of the situation and she hated feeling like that. Kelsey was the type of person who would completely melt down if she didn’t have control over everything. She was going completely insane right now. She knew that not only her children but her entire family was in danger now. She was just preparing herself for Bellatrix to knock down the door now and starting killing off everyone.
Kelsey took a deep breath and glared at her father yet again. This must have been the twentieth glare she sent him today. “Now undo this charm so I can move out of this fucking fireplace”, Kelsey spat, her voice filled with anger. It was obvious that she was at a new level of anger since she rarely ever cursed unless she was mad. Hopefully Robert wouldn’t be too difficult and he would just undo the charm. After the charm was let go Kelsey had two options: she could floo back to the ministry and risk Robert coming to get her again or she could simply storm straight up to her room and sulk up there.

Robert sighed, glad that they made it back home. Only he could not enjoy it with Kelsey bitching in his ear about it. He frowned, pushing her out of the fireplace, and unbinding the charm. Robert turned and faced the fire place, immediately destroying it. He didn't say a word to Kelsey but, only collapsed in his chair. For a few moments, he forgot all about his arm. The shooting pain slowly returned, and Robert was forced to hold it, nursing it with his other arm. He clenched his jaw, staring at the now destroyed, crumbled, fireplace. Had that spell just been slightly higher and more to the right, he would not have made it through the floo alive.
He removed his hand from his arm, and glanced at it. Of course, there was blood. With a rather irritated sigh, Robert stood up and headed to the bathroom, tearing about the cabinet for some bandages to wrap his arm with. Robert found a box of bandage, and closed the cabinet. He sighed, looking down into the sink, his hands gripping onto the edge of the sink. Kelsey was right. Robert was not thinking. All he was thinking about was Kelsey, getting her home where she belonged. It was the only thing he wanted next to killing Bellatrix once and for all.
Robert looked at his damaged arm and frowned. The spell that hit him, had left a deep cut. It clearly was intended to prevent him from living through that moment but, somehow he did. Robert watched as the blood trickled down his arm and dripped into the sink, staining its white surface with red. He glared at it in disgust. Robert sighed, looking up at mirror, at his reflection. "What the fuck are you doing?" her muttered at himself. If only he could just go, leave and drink as much as his body could tolerate and forget everything.
No, that was old him. Robert knew he could not go back to that now. Robert glared at himself for even thinking about it. He could not run away from this but...Robert sighed. He would have to tell Mandy to leave, with Talia. He doubted the boys would go if he told him. No, she would have leave, not tell him or anyone where. Mandy would have to go somewhere he did not know, it would have to be where he would not go looking for her. Only then could they really be safe. If he did not know, if he did not have the vaguest idea - they could not extract that from his head, they would not find her then. Robert nodded slowly, it just had to be done. This just needed to end, whether it meant that would be his end as well, or not.

There were no words to sum up how Kelsey was feeling at that very moment. It seemed to be a mixture of every single emotion their was in the world wrapped up in more anger and despair. Why couldn't anything in her life go right?! Why couldn't she have a moment where she felt safe and out of danger? Oh, that's right, because the world hated her. She didn't know what she ever did to deserve the world to hate her life this but it did! The only good things to happen in her life were marrying James and having the twins. Other than that her life was complete crap and it just continued to get crappier. Now it was just going to end. She knew that within moments Bellatrix would show up, kill everyone and torture her for doing this. After all, Bellatrix wouldn't kill her since she was a horcrux. Still, it would be painful enough for her to watch Bellatrix kill every single member of her family.
Kelsey felt herself being unbind and then thrown out of the fireplace. She watched as her father blew up the fireplace. As if that was going to stop Bellatrix. The evil witch could find her way into anything that she wanted to. Anger continued to consume Kelsey and she didn't really notice that her father was bleeding nor that he had left the room. She simply continued to glare at where the fireplace was and thought of everything that could possibly happen. She felt so helpless at that moment and like there was no hope at all for them.
Feeling tears form into her eyes again, Kelsey found her way over to the couch and sat down. She out her head in her hands and began to cry. This was the first time she had really cried ever since she had been kidnapped. It felt somewhat nice to cry. Bellatrix wouldn't allow her to since it was a sign of weakness so she was forced to stay strong and bottle up all of her emotions. Now she was allowed to let everything out that she had been holding in. So she sat there and cried her little heart out. Every tear that fell from her eyes had a certain emotion clinging to it. It felt nice for Kelsey to be able to cry again. Every person, no matter who they are, needs to be able to simply cry now and then.
After what seemed like forever of crying, Kelsey finally got up from the couch. She walked over to table which had some tissues on it and took one to wipe her eyes. After her face was mostly dry, she began to walk around the house, looking for her father. She walked past the bathroom and that is where she heard him mutter something to himself. Slowly, she turned towards the bathroom door and stood in the doorway, looking at her father. He was a complete mess, there was no denying that. She knew that he was finally starting to regret what he did.
"I'm going up to my, well what used to be my room. If you're lucky, I will be there in the morning. That is unless I find a way to get myself back to the ministry," Kelsey snarled, looking at her father with a small glare. She then turned her back to him and headed towards the stairs. She knew that she couldn't apparate to the ministry since no one could these days. The only way in was the secret passage ways and without her Death Eater mask she could not enter into those either without raising suspicion. She would need a very good and well thought out plan to do this. Once she would get back to the ministry she could find Bellatrix and clear up everything that happened. Hopefully this would save her family's life. She finally arrived at the stairs and headed up them then towards her room. She would need the night to think of a plan and then in the morning she was out of there.

revenge revenge revenge revenge one life left to live, to forgive make amends, wash away my sins While glaring at himself in the mirror in the downstairs bathroom, a small sound that reached his ears caused his expression to change to a rather sad one. For Robert to listen to Kelsey cry, it felt like a bad paper cut. He sighed, and opened the medicine cabinet, digging around for some gauze bandaides to wrap his arm with. He could attempt to use some healing spell on himself but, he was never good with those. He'd probably make it worse instead of better. He turned on the sink, and washed the wound, which was still bleeding, and then wrapped it with the white bandages.
Robert turned to leave the bathroom but stopped, finding Kelsey standing right there, glaring at him. He looked as if he was nearly about to cry. The tears were stinging the back of his eyes. He really didn't care if Kelsey was mad at him. She could be mad at him all she wanted really. All Robert really cared about was that she was alive, not dead. Although, at this point he was sort of questioning his sanity. Ever since she had "died" he saw her everywhere, or he thought he saw her. He would chase after her, only to find there was nothing there. Now, he was pretty sure this was all real, the pain in his arm told him it was.
Robert hesitated before going after her. "You room will always be your room," he said, standing at the bottom of the staircase. "You know I wasn't going to just leave you there, not like that. Not after I.." he paused. "...practically killed you." Robert swallowed. It was a good thing her mask fell off when it did, or he would have. He knew that, and it just killed him. "Kelsey, you have to understand that I could not have lied about seeing you - I just..I can't. I would never be forgiven for it," he said, diverting his eyes to the floor.

Everything was a mess. Why did everything always have to be a mess? All Kelsey wanted was to have at least one month of her life go smoothly. Just one. Was that too much to ask for? Instead she was always in some sort of trouble or danger. It was not like she went looking for it all the time. It somehow just managed to always find her. She was sick and tired of it always being her who got into trouble or who was in danger. Let it be someone else for once and not her.
Kelsey knew that all of this wasn't Robert's fault. Well, in a sense it was but it was Kelsey's choice to remain in hiding. If she had really wanted to she could have escaped from Bellatrix a long time ago and came home. She saw it as a way to escape her old life and start over fresh. Everything in her life had just became so hectic and she knew that if she stayed 'dead' and with Bellatrix that she had a chance to start over and become something new. It was a stupid thing to do and Kelsey knew that within time she would grow to appreciate what her father did for her by bringing her home. Until then it was just easier to blame Robert for everything.
"I would have been fine dad. Bellatrix would have found me and fixed up my wounds or something. You should have just left before you even seen that it was me!" Kelsey sighed, looking down at her father from the top of the staircase. She knew that it was an unlikely chance that Bella would have helped her out. She would have just yelled at her for being defeated and then hurt her some more. There was no kindness in that woman's heart.
"They wouldn't have had to know that I was alive!" Kelsey roared, glaring down at her father. "I could have modified your memory if you would have simply given me back my damn wand! Then you wouldn't have had to lie! Anything would be better than this. Now Bellatrix is going to make me watch as she kills all of my family. Is that better for you? Would you rather me have to endure watching Bellatrix killing each and everyone of you just so you won't have to lie again!? How is that fair to me?" Kelsey snapped, tears streaming down her face. One of her biggest fears had always been watching people she loved die. It would simply rip her apart. In her mind it was not fair that she would have to watch them all be killed. She knew she would not be sane after that.
