It was a hot summer day in July and the alley was filled with children and adults alike as everyone seemed to want to enjoy this lovely weather. The stores seemed to be filled to the brim with customers , who were all trying to find what they were in need of and at this very moment Bailey had some need of ice cream at Florean Fortescue`s ice cream parlour.
She smoothed down her skirt a bit and smiled a happy and bright smile as life was looking a lot better, she had gotten over the whole drama thing with Darin and the two were actually talking and hanging out a lot more now a days. Those old romantic feelings were coming back for him and She was certain that this time it would work out.
The Parlour was one of her favorite places in diagon alley and she had more than once spent several hours in this very store and she had sat down in the corner booth with a double scoop of ice cream several times during the time when Darin had traveled away, when she had been left by him but today she wasn't sitting here in sadness but in joy, she finally had him back in her life and love was making her feel alive and cheerful.
Today she had in mind of ordering a triple scoop of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream with a nougat topping.Oh yes she was going to enjoy a nice ice cold treat , with this weather there were a lot of others who had the same idea. She walked up to the counter and looked at the icy treats, checking them out just in case she wanted something else."umm . miss , can i have a triple scoop of the chocolate fudge brownie Ice cream, please with some nougat topping"

Previous term Darin fell for a Hufflepuff girl named Bailey but her brother didn't like him. Even though he was friends with Lisa, Darin's older sister he still had something against Darin and even Lisa couldn't do anything about it. So he left poor girl, probably breaking her heart and transfered to Durmstrang for six months thinking maybe he would get more manly, together and more mature. Now he came back to Hogwarts but he didn't know what to think about it. It was so complicated. He still loved Bailey yet he did something awful in Bulgaria. Knowing him you wouldn't be that surprised though. Darin always had a weak spot for older girls, older women, yet his love was a girl his age. So a young Green got drunk during the free time out of Durmstrang and there was a very attractive young woman in the pub. She was obviously older than him at least 5-6 years, or maybe he was just fooled by alcohol. She could be even older. The fate wanted they ended up in a hotel room having sex. His new Bulgarian friends were cheering him and he just couldn't resist that chance, completely forgetting about Bailey. Yet in the morning with a major hangover he knew what he had done and wasn't that happy about it, even though he knew his sister would be proud of him.
When Darin met Bailey at Hogwarts' library for the first time since he was gone, he saw he she was hurt. It hurt him in return that he had to hurt her even more. He loved her, he couldn't lie to her all the time. So even though he kept for himself why he left her, which involved her brother Jake, he told her about that woman in Bulgaria. And maybe it was a mistake, stupid move of him because now he had no chance to get her back. But at least Jake would be pleased, or so Darin thought. Yet, he could get mad at young Green for hurting his sister so badly, you never know.
Yet the fate wanted well for the two teenagers. They got back together as they belonged to each other. They loved each other and now when everything was clear and solved, nothing could change it. The term was over and it was a time for summer vacations. The two love birds has already planned a trip. Darin promised Bailey to take her anywhere she wanted and she wanted to go to Tokyo, Japan. Darin has no objections. He was ready to do simply anything for his girlfriend. They had time to pack yet. There was no rush. They could spend some of the summer at Britain too.
Happy as ever Darin Green wandered down the Diagon Alley. His feet brought him to the Ice cream parlor for not a particular reason. Or maybe it was because of Bailey. She really loved the place. And maybe Darin secretly hoped she would be there. Fortunately he wasn't mistaken and he saw the girl in the store, most likely ordering an ice cream dessert. A boy smiled looking through the glass before he decided to walk inside. He walked over to his love and greeted her snaked arms around her and planting a kiss on her cheek. "Hello, sweet tooth."

Bailey smiled as her thoughts went to Darin and their upcoming trip to Tokyo. She adored the idea of being in a far away country with new cultures and objects to experience, New things to learn and if there was something Bailey enjoyed it was to learn new things. She had such high hopes for this trip of theirs, She couldn't help but to hope that they might take this relationship to a more serious stage , perhaps a promise ring or something.
She let out a happy sigh and stared longingly at all the different flavors when she heard the voice of her love, he always seemed to call her sweet tooth but she couldn't help it , sweets were so tasty and they gave her more energy. Granted she could be worse off , being addicted to coffee or worse.
She licked her soft pink glossy lips in anticipation of that delicious cold treat before she turned to her sweet love." i am not a sweet tooth , i just happen to adore sweets" she said with a smile and looked into those warm brown eyes."besides you like it when i taste like sweets" She gave one of her sweetest smiles and ran her hand gently trough his hair.
"so how has your day been? hopefully you didn't get into trouble of some sort." she gave Darin a small wink and grabbed her ordered ice cream and smiled as she was aching to dig into it, to taste it sweet taste.

Darin didn't think about far future so far. He wanted to enjoy his young years, life like it was. He was just sixteen years old boy and he had time for fun before he would have to make more mature decisions. Of course in his big family of pureblooded wizards and witches was a tradition to get married around seventeenth, sometimes eighteenth birthday, preferably with a candidate chosen by parents. Disobeying that rule usually led you to becoming a traitor, an enemy from the instant. Of course there were few exceptions and not as rare as it seemed. Though, Darin didn't care much. He thought he was the master of his life and even though a year back he did everything to please his father and hold the family name with all respect not to bring blemish to it and keep the reputation high, it all has changed. He didn't respect his father so much anymore. He told his rules to go to hell. He's going to marry whoever he wanted and whenever he wanted, no matter for blood or school house.
Looking at his sweet girlfriend, seeing her bright smile as she turned to him in his arms, Darin smiled brighter himself. Her attempts to talk him into not being a sweet tooth as he liked to call her, were adorable. Yes, she happened to adore sweets, that's why she was a sweet tooth for him, no questions asked. And yes, he liked when she tasted like sweets even though he didn't like them as much as she did. However that sweet smile of hers always made his say whatever she wanted to hear. "Ah, yes, sweets adorer and my lovely delicious babe." he unfolded his arms so she could move as she pleased. A grin never left his face, same with warmth in his brown eyes when he looked at her.
Before Darin decided to answer Bailey's question and respond to her little teasing comment, he led her to the table as she looked like she couldn't wait to taste what she ordered. He hold a chair for her as a perfect gentleman, waiting for her to sit before he took a seat himself. "I must say my day was great. No fight with my father..." he kept for himself that they simply didn't speak because if they did, it would end with argument of some sort. "No problem with preparing everything important for our trip. Although, I feel even better because I'm here with you."
