Today was a great day for young Chiles as she had time to wander in hogsmeade and shop for treats and what not, She could not believe that it was summer already and while she missed the comfort of her beloved school , summer break gave her an opportunity to spend time with her precious father that today was a bit busy in meetings with some of his business partners.

Smoothing down her skirt, Chiles walked inside the sweet and cozy parlor that served her favorite tea`s and cupcakes.She loved the sweet taste of their special chocolate cupcakes, she could spend hours in madam puddifoot`s with a cup of fruity flavored tea and some cupcakes and had done so often.

Chiles smiled as she once more entered the little tea shop that offered her comfort and peace.She had no idea how the world turn out now with all that's going on.She was merely happy that she had her father to keep her safe and sound.She did not know what this year would bring to her life but she knew that she would do her best and work hard.

Sighing softly she licked her lips and looked at the lady behind the counter."hello madam , could i please a have a cup of blackberry tea and some chocolate cupcakes , please " her voice was soft and gentle with a warm smile on her face. She wondered if someone would join her at the table , she would love the company of perhaps another fellow gryffindor. "its quite the lovely weather today isn't it madam" she made some small talk with the lady as she wasn't loving the thoughts of being completely alone today.

She had no idea of why so much had happened now but she did know that the world was changing and she wasn't sure if it was for the better or worse.Chiles only hoped that Her father and her would be spared from too much pain and heartache but til that day Chiles would keep going as she always have.

Kiera Hayze often got restless. Today, for example, was one of those days. Summer say coming to an end, and she could feel it in her bones. Every day for three months she had been swimming upstream a small river for two hours in the early morning. It was her love, obsession and her routine. But lately, she had begun to feel a change. Slight, but apparent. As she had been swimming her whole life, she could tell when the seasons were beginning to shift. Today, though, the weather held nothing back. It was warm and lovely, with small hints of a breeze. It felt good against Kiera's skin, and she was content with all life had to offer.

Out of sheer boredom, she wandered along Hogsmeade aimlessly until her stomach began to rumble. Basically anyplace close to her would sell food, so she just slipped into the nearest shop. It turned out to be Madam Puddifoot's tea shop. Not exactly Kiera's favorite haunt, but still good. She ordered something off the menu and looked around the crowded place with a discouraged frown. Almost ever table was full. She contemplated finding a chair outside, then spotted a familiar face. A sixth year named Chiles O'Conner. Although Kiera wasn't exactly 'friends' with the girl, she had seen her before a few times and decided that she was in a social enough mood to approach her.

"Why hello Chiles! Would you mind if i joined you? It's been so long since I last saw you!" Kiera spoke softly and with a friendly grin. Chiles appeared to be alone, and Kiera figured that there was no point of anyone being alone when there were people around. Besides, it truly had been a while since she had made contact from anyone from Hogwarts besides her closest friends.
