Everything was different now. There was no denying that statement. Kelsey had known that things were going to change after graduation but she did not know that they were going to change this much. She had always hated change with a passion. Now it seem to be the only thing that happened to her. As if graduating from Hogwarts wasn't change enough for her something more happened to her on that day. Bellatrix had gotten someone to put something in her drink to make it look like she was dead. So now, to the rest of the world besides Bellatrix, she was dead. She was now being held against her will by Bellatrix and isolated from the rest of the world. That was just a total party for her.
If that wasn't enough, now Bellatrix was in charge of the Ministry. She, along with her faithful followers, had infiltrated the ministry and now controlled everything in the building. Bellatrix had made herself the Mistress of Magic and that was not a good sign for the wizarding world. With Bellatrix in charge, everything was going to change. It was going to be another dark time for witches and wizards everywhere. There was also no hope for Kelsey to be able to go home now. Bellatrix would have eyes and ears everywhere to watch her. It was not like she could go home now anyways. She was suppose to be dead.
Since the Order kept trying to regain control of the Minstry, Bellatrix had assigned all of her Death Eaters to guard the building. That is where Kelsey was at the moment. She had on her Death Eater mask and cloak so no one could see who she really was. The last thing she needed was for word to get out that she was alive. She didn't want her father or James to come here trying to get her back. They would more than likely get killed while trying to save her. She saw this as a new beginning for herself. One that she would have to grow to like.
Kelsey currently found herself on the 1st level of the Ministry. She did not acknowledge anyone around her but merely just continued to walk by, heading to the one place where she knew she could be alone. She arrived at a large wooden door and turned the knob. She opened the door and entered, shutting it quickly behind her. She looked upon the single bathroom before her and sighed happily. This was her oasis. Her escape from the rest of the world. She walked into the room more but forgot one important thing, to lock the door.
She only stopped walking once she arrived in front of the mirror that hung on the wall. Wanting to be more comfortable, Kelsey took off her cloak and Death Eater mask, revealing herself to the empty room. She sighed, seeing the lack of sleep and worry in her face. Her red hair fell down her back, happy to be out of the hood of the cloak. She was happy to finally be alone. She hadn't had a moment alone in weeks, not even when she was sleeping. There was always someone watching her, making sure she didn't run away. Kelsey wished this would all be over but she knew that it was her new life now.

Scorpius could not help but feel like a coward as he walked by his lonesome through the first floor, something he would never admit to another person, let alone himself. Admitting he was a coward was far more different than actually showing it to everyone else. That was a trait he was grateful to have inherited from both his father and grandmother. Unless a person knew him well enough, and not even then, his emotions were difficult to read. Many thoughts slowly crowded his head while he worked on keeping a cold visage at all times. Maintaining the harsh look seemed to be the most important thing at the moment. He desired, more than anything, to restore his family name to its once former glory. It was infuriating to hear others talk so lightly about the name ‘Malfoy’. Scorpius was determined, or so he thought, to do anything it took to show the rest of the wizarding world that Malfoy was a name that needed and was feared. The Death Eaters had just taken over the Ministry… The perfect opportunity to make his move, everything laid out right before him. But now he was starting to have his doubts about this entire situation. Would he be able to kill someone on command? It could happen. It likely would happen. He had been inside the Ministry on many occasions since his family had connections. They could be people he had seen in the past or had very brief encounters with. Pureblood or not. The person didn’t have to sympathize with Death Eaters. Killing a person he knew in the slightest was going to be a challenge, but he really had no choice in the matter.
Thank Merlin there was not another person by his side trying to talk his ear off with pointless gab. There was no way he would be able to hold a conversation right at this moment. He was too focused on what surrounded him right now. How strange it was not to see the daily hustle and bustle of busy officials. Now, it was a group of dark figures that had been assigned to patrol different areas of the Ministry, he being one of the few on the first floor. His gray eyes scanned every inch while he made himself press forward, his hand wrapped tightly around his wand right to the point where his knuckles were a pale white. In the back of his mind, Scorpius kept telling himself he was prepared for anything that might come his way. This meant taking the life of an innocent mug- mudblood that only wanted to make it back to their family to a duel with some useless Order member. When in reality, he would most likely shoot off a vicious scowl and draw so much attention to himself that another Death Eater would arrive to assist him. He continued on, still lost deep in his own thoughts, avoiding objects that had been caught up in the chaos and destroyed. Scorpius then rounded a corner, the large familiar fountain coming into view, surrounded by a handful of limp cold, lifeless bodies. The very moment his eyes took it all in, his expression turned into absolute disgust or horror, a possible combination of both. Dead bodies. Men and women. Young and old. The grip on his wand suddenly loosened, causing it to slide down his hand, nearly dropping it as he turned his head away from the fountain. Scorpius had never seen a dead body that close up before nor had he ever killed another. Seeing all that at once caused his stomach to tighten and his focus to instantly break. This image was all he could see. Taking a few steps away, he looked around and headed in the direction of the nearest door. No one else needed to know where he was. It would only take a few minutes to regain his composure.
Shoving his wand away in his robes, he reached for the doorknob and turned it once, walking in without looking in. Once the door was closed, Scorpius breathed an immediate sigh of relief and turned to lean up against the door, only to lay his eyes on someone else. But it just wasn’t someone else. It was Kelsey. He locked his eyes with her eyes in the mirror and kept his back against the door, that cruel expression he was often seen with returning to his face.
You? I knew you couldn’t be dead.” His voice sharp. “… And what luck. I ran into you. ...Of everyone else that is crawling around here.” Scorpius placed his hand on the doorknob, but kept his eyes on her. She was the last person he wanted to deal with right now.

Living with Bellatrix was not a picnic, that was for sure. To prevent anyone from seeing her, Kelsey had been confined to her room at the Riddle House and was not permitted to leave except for bathroom breaks and training practice with Bellatrix. She had been eating meals in her room and spoke to no one but the evil witch. Kelsey missed having human contact with other people. All she wanted was human interaction. She could sometimes manage to sneak out of the manor and get ice cream or something but that was it. Bellatrix had Death Eaters watching both her house and her father's house so there was no way for Kelsey to sneak back home to see them.
This whole life style was killing Kelsey slowly. She found herself having trouble getting out of bed in the morning. Her whole body felt weak, especially when she was around Bellatrix. It seemed to be that every time she got in the same room as that woman her whole body would shut down and she could barely stand. It must have been the horcrux reacting again. It had been very dormant the past few months and only really acted up when she was with Bellatrix. She just hoped that it wouldn't take over her anymore. The last time was no picnic, that was for sure.
Back in the bathroom at the ministry, Kelsey looked at herself in the mirror, seeing the worry in her face. She couldn't help but sigh. She remembered just a few months ago her face was full of light and she looked healthy. Then everything went spiraling downhill and it could all be seen in her face. There was dark circles that had formed around her eyes from lack of sleep. She had barely been sleeping ever since she was taken by Bellatrix. Kelsey constantly woke up during the night from nightmares. All she wanted was a good night's sleep and to see her children.
Just then Kelsey was snapped out of her thoughts when she locked eyes with someone in the mirror which was then followed by a voice in the room. Startled by the sudden appearance of a second person in the room, she jumped slightly, dropping her mask to the floor. She quickly turned to see Scorpius standing there in the room with her which made her curse silently to herself. How could she have forgotten to lock the door? Now her secret was out and she really didn't know what Scorpius would do.
"Scorpius..." Kelsey said softly, her voice full of shock. She was at a loss for words as she looked at the boy in front of her. What do you say to someone when you were suppose to be dead? "You can't tell anyone that you saw me or that I am alive," she said, her eyes pleading with him. She knew that if anyone found out that she was alive that Bellatrix would kill her family. Her eyes moves down to Scorpius' hand at the doorknob. He was going to leave and something inside of Kelsey didn't want that. "Please.. I know we don't get alone but please don't leave. I can't believe I am saying this but you are the only sane person around here that I can talk to," Kelsey sighed, her eyes pleading with Scorpius yet again. Scorpius and Kelsey never ever saw eye to eye. They argued almost every time that they were in the same room but right now Kelsey wasn't in the position to pick and choose who she could talk to. She was tired of being surrounded by insane Death Eaters everyday of her life.
