YOU CAN FEEL THE POUNDING WRAPPED AROUND YOUR CHESTALBERTCOLE NOTHING'S TOO EXCESSIVE WHEN YOU'VE GOT NOTHING LEFT Albert Cole walked around the amusement park with his hands in his pockets, looking around at the various people having a good time with the games and riding the rides. He was never one to like such places and often found the general atmosphere suffocating due to the large crowds of people there. He was a loner in a sense and didn't like being around so many people that he didn't know, nor did he even like since some of them were too young and ignorant to apologize after bumping into him or even excusing themselves as they passed him in a blur. Most were young girls with their supposed boyfriends that would, most likely, say something or do something to upset them and then the relationship would end as did most childish "relationships" - if they could truly be called such a thing.
It never ceased to amaze Albert how stupid it was to hear two fourteen year old wizards telling one another than they were so in love and couldn't live without them, yet two days later, they would be using the same cheesy line on someone else. It made him snarl and roll his eyes to hear it. Children didn't know anything about relationships. All they knew was they liked to be kissed and/or have someone to use. He shook his head as he came to a stop near a tree and took a seat on the bench there, crossing his arms and looking around. He glanced over toward one of the previously mentioned couples as a fight broke out between them over a stuffed animal. It was immature and made Albert smirk before the girl became angry and stormed off. The young man, dressed in a red T-shirt and blue jeans sporting a downcast look on his face, walked over to Albert and looked at him. "I don't know what I said."
The seventh year Slytherin shook his head in return and shrugged, "I honestly don't care. Grow up a bit before taking on a serious relationship, kid." This didn't help the young man and he started to cry as he walked off. This didn't bring any regret into Albert's mind; he had said exactly what he meant and he meant what he said. Besides, from his standpoint, he had just given the kid some of the best advice he could ever receive: Grow up. He sighed, looking down at his watch, and debated whether or not to end this pointless day early and go home and swim in the Olympic-sized pool in the basement.

One night and one more time Thanks for the memories Even though they weren't so great He tastes like you only sweeter♥ ~~ ♦ ~~ ♣ ~~ ♠ Kiera Hayze was at the Spring Has Sprung Carnival. A few friends had invited her to go, and since it was Summer, Kiera had accepted. Unfortunately for her, she should have known all her friends wanted was to meet up with guys. The happy couples going on the rides again without so much as noticing one of them had left. With a disgusted sigh, Kiera trudged off to the outskirts of a carnival in search of somewhere quiet.
Summer was usually Kiera's favorite time of the year. It was hot and she could swim practically to her hearts content. But this particular summer was just not going the way she had planned. When the ministry fell to the hands of the death eaters, fear practically swallowed the wizarding world. Even now, two months later, the streets weren't as lively as they used to be. Diagon Alley was deserted or filled with an air of gloom. Darkness had engulfed the carnival and even though it was only a few moments after sunset, Kiera could already see nervous parents dragging their kids home in the far off distance.
As Kiera made her way into the fields where people were becoming more and more sparse, she happened upon a group of people. Well, fourteen year olds, but people all the same. They were all around her. Talking. Making out. Laughing. Kiera's scowl grew. Even though she was happy not to be alone, they were not exactly the kind of people she would choose to surround herself with if she had a choice. Then a large tree and an old rusted over bench came into sight. A small smile came over Kiera's lips. Perfect. A secluded place she could sit, and wait for her ride home to be done doing whatever. why hadn't she gotten her apperating license? With a sigh she turned around the tree trunk. Oh. The bench was taken. By a tall boy about her age. Kiera felt her heart dropped to her knees. "M-mind if i sit beside you? I promise not to jump up on you, like them." Kiera jerked her head, gesturing a couple of fourteen year old who were making out with a smile.

YOU CAN FEEL THE POUNDING WRAPPED AROUND YOUR CHESTALBERTCOLE NOTHING'S TOO EXCESSIVE WHEN YOU'VE GOT NOTHING LEFT Lost in his own thoughts about whether or not to leave and apparate home, he almost didn't hear the voice next to him. "M-mind if i sit beside you? I promise not to jump up on you, like them." He heard it slightly and knew that it belonged to a female and he glanced up from his gold Rolex to see the girl standing next to him. He thought for a moment and recollected what he had heard. It wasn't much, though he easily pieced it together to come up with her asking if she could sit down. He glanced to the spot next to him and scooted over a bit to allow her some more room. "Sure, go ahead." He then looked to where she motioned with her head to see the very young kids making out nearby. He shook his head at the sight, once again thinking of how they would probably be split up in a week's time if that long. Immature love annoyed Albert and he looked back at her, not really wanting to see it so that when the innevitable argument happened, he wouldn't be drug into it again and have to tell another kid to grow up, though did feel the need to joke. "Well... you could. I wouldn't complain and besides - maybe we could show the kids a thing or two. My lap is plenty big enough for you." He smirked with a bit of a laugh to let her know he was kidding.
She was cute and all, but she just didn't strike him as a girl that would be making out with a Slytherin boy, let alone one that would be so easy, though he has been surprised in the past by girls. He leaned back in the seat and recrossed his arms, glancing back at the young couple once more and laughed a bit as the girl's mother came and got her so that they could leave. It was getting dark and with the goings on in the Ministry with the Death Eaters, most parents didn't want their children out past dark. He looked around more as the boy also left as did the other couples and soon, only he and the young woman next to him were in that area of the park. He wasn't worried with Death Eaters and he had good reason with his father being who he was. Bellatrix would be more likely to recruit Albert than to kill him and it was because of this fact that he shrugged the entire situation off, not caring either way.
He looked over to the girl next to him, "My name is Albert Cole. And who might you be, Cherry Bomb?" He was, of course, referring to the writing on her shirt. When he didn't know someone's name, he would usually find something on them like an article of clothing or a bodypart that he could associate with them until he fully learned their name.

One night and one more time Thanks for the memories Even though they weren't so great He tastes like you only sweeter♥ ~~ ♦ ~~ ♣ ~~ ♠ While waiting for the boy who seemed too consumed in his own thoughts to notice her, Kiera shifted her weight from one foot to the other. Finally, he responded. "sure, go ahead." the boy smirked and scooted over so she could sit beside him. As she did, he began to speak again. "Well... you could. I wouldn't complain and besides - maybe we could show the kids a thing or two. My lap is plenty big enough for you." Despite herself, Kiera laughed and for the first time all night began feeling better. "You better watch out, you never know if i'll take you up on that." She winked, but it was all in a joking tone. Everything about her screamed innocence, from her head to her toes and it was obvious. "My name is Albert Cole. And who might you be, Cherry Bomb?" Cherry Bomb?.... She was confused, and said so, "Che...OH!" realization washed over her instantly. The shirt she wore read 'Cherry Bomb'. Confusion was not something Kiera dealt with well. But still she giggled. "I'm Kiera, Kiera Hayze." she offered.
The boy looked familiar, but not very much so. They were probably in the same year by the looks of it, but she highly doubted he was a fellow Hufflepuff. Probably... a Ravenclaw? No. Slytherin, Kiera decided. Definitely not someone Kiera would know personally. She leaned back with a sigh and watched the activity go on. A girl was practically dragged from her boyfriend by her mother. Even though she was content for the moment, she made sure that her wand was close to hand and her muscles never fully relaxed. Corruption in the government was a scary thought and Kiera liked to consider herself neutral, too scared to make any actual decisions important enough to change her life forever. However, Albert seemed perfectly at ease. "So, you're a Slytherin, right?" Kiera asked with a tilt of her head. You see, it was easy to capture Kiera's attention, and Albert definitely had her captivated.

YOU CAN FEEL THE POUNDING WRAPPED AROUND YOUR CHESTALBERTCOLE NOTHING'S TOO EXCESSIVE WHEN YOU'VE GOT NOTHING LEFT
As she sat down and he continued to speak, he tried to place who she was. Chances were that she was as student at Hogwarts and she appeared to be around his age meaning that he might know who she was, though not physically. He would have definitely known had they had sex before since her initial reaction to his presence would have been different had that been the case. She was cute, though, and once again he couldn't figure out why he wasn't acquainted with her already, though pushed the thought from his mind since it really wasn't important at the moment. What was important was her reaction to his joking invitation for her to climb on his lap. "You better watch out, you never know if i'll take you up on that." Her wink that followed and her tone while speaking gave away that she was joking, though Albert couldn't help but smirk and wonder if she really would do it. "And in that case, I would let you." He chuckled a bit turning to look around the now empty area around them for a moment before laughing at her obvious confusion by his calling her 'Cherry Bomb'. "I'm Kiera, Kiera Hayze." He nodded with a smile before extending his hand over to her, "It's a pleasure to meet you Kiera Hayze. Don't let the Cherry Bomb comment confuse you too much. Though I may have found a nickname for you....Cherry Bomb." Albert laughed and shook his head with a smile, finding her ease of confusion at the statement humorous.
He glanced around the now empty area of the park and took in the still quiet that was now around the two of them that had, just moments ago, been occupied by giggling and screaming of young teenage girls and boys running around acting foolish. It was nice to be sitting in the quiet, even though the only light around them was a lantern light hanging in the nearby tree. He looked back over to Kiera, still trying to place her. He knew that she wasn't in Slytherin, she just didn't fit the bill at all. She could have been a Gryffindor, though most Gryffindors wouldn't be caught dead around Albert Cole...though one or two were more tolerant but with Albert's father being who he was, the Weasleys and Potters were his family's sworn enemies and because of that, the entire house seemed to hate the Cole family. It was fine by Albert since he saw Gryffindors as goody-goodies anyway. She was either a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff and he was leaning toward the latter considering her general personality. But it was welcome. "So, you're a Slytherin, right?" She was definitely a quick study since she didn't know him up until now and had already caught on to the house he was in. Albert nodded with a smirk, "Pureblooded Slytherin just like my family. I would say you are a Hufflepuff. You don't have the know-it-all feeling of a Ravenclaw nor do you have the anger that a Gryffindor would have."
He then rubbed the silver serpent ring, twirling it around on his right ring finger and looked down at it for a moment before turning back to her, "So... you don't plan on leaving like the children and the insecure parents, do you? I'd hate to be sitting here alone." He was fully aware that with the fear of Death Eaters that most wizards and witches held, the chances of her leaving was high and he just wanted to see how brave she truly was knowing the potential of an attack was high - especially after dark. "Or are you one of those brave Hufflepuff that don't mind sitting next to a Slytherin in the dark?" He laughed at his statement not meaning anything by it, just trying to start conversation with Kiera and maybe learn something about her.
