She changed her mood a lot and got irritated easily. She believed other were envious of her. She judged people by the cover, wasn't interested in their problems and was a stereotype Slytherin girl. With a wink of an eye you could become her enemy. Lisa was not a girl who opens up easily. You would have to trick her, enchant her or become alike. Well, there was other way too. If she considered you a friend and had fun with you, she would probably open up enough to you, so you could have known her better. But she did not trust anyone fully. She knew she was not trustworthy so why she should trust anyone else. Lisa did not want anybody think she was a poseur or a fake. She just could not let it happen. She could not help how she was but she did not want to change it either. She started making mental notes since she found out something began changing inside of her. Every time Lisa noticed any symptoms of a changing process she did not like, she marked it for turning over in hers mind later. Yet she stopped after her relationship with Liam Davies got better. The changes didn't bother her so much unless someone important for her turned their back at her.
Lisa was always a confident figure, cocky and all. She was aware of being a proof of physical perfection but did they see only her beauty or maybe something else. Someone had said she had it all. People respected her although she wasn't the nicest girl. She just had that school somewhat in her palms before, along with her older friends. Yet, she lost some of them over Liam. He didn't hold her out of them, no. He wanted her to have friends, leave it how it was. But it seemed Lisa forgot what was important for her, forgot she could separate two things, share her time for both. It's true, you have to pay attention to your friendships and not only your life without them or you will lose them.
She didn't know how separate that time, how to find find that borderline and be social again. Yet, before she met Liam, being social usually meant being a whore and she didn't want that anymore. But then again it always meant making more friends than she does enemies. And now she had no idea who hated her or just simply resigned from her friendship and who still liked her. So sitting at the lake shore at Hogsmeade in a slight shadow given by a tree, with her elbows leaned on her lap and chin rested in hands, looking aimlessly down, Lisa just lost in her thoughts. She needed to change her life again, spend some time apart from Liam and rethink things again, try to remind herself what else was important for her.• • • • • • TAGS: Albert C. WORDS: 514? * all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Albert's summer had been rather uneventful so far. He hadn't returned home at all and spent most of his time in Diagon and Knockturn Alley as well as Hogsmeade. With the school closed for the summer and everyone at their homes or off with their parents on vacations all around the world, the aforementioned tended to be very empty, quiet and lonely places. Of course there as the ocassional adult or professor passing through but compared to the usual crowdedness of the places, they were practically ghost towns. The only reason Albert hadn't returned home was that his father had instructed him to not do so and, though he didn't like to at times, he obeyed his father's wishes. It was probably nothing and his dad was conducting some sort of business away from home or took his mother on a trip and were yet to return home. Since his parents most likely were not there, he saw no point in going home since he only returned to see them.
The young Slytherin seventh year known as Albert Cole was a charming, handsome young man that prefered solitude over large groups of people and because of this, he didn't work well in groups. He was a man of few words for the most part, unless he felt the need to talk more or had known the person he was speaking with for a long time and they were what could be considered a friend. Friends were something that Albert had very little of and most of it was because of his general disposition and attitude toward others. He would be more likely to push someone away and go about his own business than to bother speaking with or caring what anyone was going through. A young man that was very well-versed in the dark arts, he was far from a boyscout, though he was also not nearly as ruthless and impulsive as his father - in fact, he liked to see himself as more cunning since he prefered logic and planning over impulsive action all of the time.
Dressed in a black T-shirt that was worn tight enough to show his biceps and chest muscles, but not too tight as that it was over-exaggerated and a pair of dark blue jeans with a black pair of boots to compliment the look, he made his way through the streets of Hogsmeade. His hair was cut short and gelled to spike up in the front which was a trait inherited from his father. Both he and his dad could sport any hair style they desired and when his father was younger, he prefered a similar one as to his son was using now, though over time, his dad's hair grew longer and is now slicked back. Albert's blue eyes scanned the area as he walked by some practically vacant shops with everyone away for the season. That was until he came across a familiar face sitting by the lake. He smiled slightly and walked over to her, crossing his arms as he stood behind her and to her left, looking down at her noticing she was lost in her own thoughts. "Hello there, beautiful. I didn't expect to see you out here." He laughed, stepped a little bit closer to her and more to her side so she could see him, "You look like something's bothering you, Lisa. Are you and Liam having trouble?" His face showed some concern as he spoke and it should. Out of the few people he associated with in his house, Lisa was one of his closer friends and had been for a while. In the past, they had shared something a lot more physical with no real emotion but that had all changed, though after all of it, he had come to have a flirtatious, but trust-filled friendship with Lisa. • • • • • •It wasn't easy. She missed her old life, yet she's never been so happy before. She found love, a real love between two people she thought that doesn't exist. It was so wonderful to love and be loved, to care and be cared for, to wake up with a smile knowing there is someone special in your life who makes you happy and is happy to have you. Lisa had never cared before, not so much at least. She's been in many relationships in a short time, usually breaking the boy's heart. She just jumped from guy to guy taking what she wanted out of them. And what did she want? The same what them, sex. She needed nothing else. Maybe just a proof that she was amazingly beautiful and good in bed. Since Lisa had changed so drastically people didn't know how to act around her anymore. She was still one of the most popular students at Hogwarts but she wasn't the same like when she earned that popularity. She finally started to listen to others, tried to help them instead of ignoring because it wasn't her problem. She stopped whoring around, flirting that much and seducing. She was engaged to the love of her life and she wasn't going to ever cheat on him. She would feel awful with that and broken much if he did something like that to her. She realized how many hearts she had broken over the years and how it must hurt. Boys still wanted her for themselves even though she was officially taken and soon to be married. She was like veela even though there was not veela blood in her veins. She didn't even try to tempt males anymore except the one that captured her heart. Though, they were melting with one single smile of hers. It wasn't a problem last year and a few years back. But now, now it started to be troublesome. Some guys couldn't get over her, some still wanted to have a fling.
There also were times when Lisa wasn't a good friend. When she didn't like anything that happened to her friends or they said something that made her think they were freaks and started to change - in her opinion - for bad, Lisa just didn't pay attention to them until they showed they were worth enough to get her friendship back. Or everytime she got a wonderful boyfriend she seemed to be losing head for, Lisa simply forgot about the whole world and in result about her friends and their problems. She wasn't there for them when they needed her. She wasn't there to support them. She claimed no interest. Of course it wasn't routine. Her friends and family could usually count on her - when she wasn't too busy. She could help when asked for. She could help when that was something that took her heart or she was involved with. No one ever said that Lisa does things selflessly. But that new Lisa… it wasn't her. She wasn't much of a pure Slytherin she's been all her life. But it was good for her in a way. She was happy with the changes and no one really could erase that. Yet, some people still acted as if it never happened. Some of course noticed huge changes and probably because of that they didn't consider her a friend anymore. So maybe they weren't friends at all? Maybe... but Lisa realized it was her fault. She, let them go. She, stopped giving them her attention. She, made them think they aren't important anymore. She...
Sitting there, completely lost in her thoughts about her current life and future she never really wanted to think about, Lisa didn't here anyone approaching. She didn't here any steps, any breath, any voice, just her thoughts and chiming wind that seemed to be playing a melody to accompany her little time of rethinking. Coming from a family full of Death Eaters and other dark wizards and witches, resigning from following that path because of love that melted the ice around her heart, Lisa should know better than losing in her thoughts and closing for the world at these few moments. She should be alert as she was taught. She couldn't always count on her family name, no. But she heard unclear, yet loudly spoken words as if they were coming from just behind her. Lisa blinked and straightened herself still sitting where she did. She heard a laugh, a laugh that she heard before no doubt more than a few times. She turned her head just in time to see a familiar figure coming out just from behind her. She looked up and saw his face clearly. Albert Cole, yes it was him. A small smile graced her face because her was one of the few friends of her she could actually call friend still or so she thought. Hearing his other words and seeing his face that all together expressed some concern, Lisa took a breath and shook her head. Indeed, something was bothering her but she and Liam weren't having any problems. "Hey, Al." she greeted him as she didn't do it when he has. "No, we're not having problems. It has never been better between us, really." Lisa smiled fully finally. "I just needed some fresh air. Come, sit down, my dear." she patted a ground beside her inviting Albert to join her. They haven't talked for a while, actually since the term was over.• • • • • • TAGS: Albert C. WORDS: 928?
