Oh well I'll look at you and say
It’s the happiest that I’ve ever been
”Ouch !” a soft, musical voice screeched. A wave of giggles and chortles flew throughout the girls' Gryffindor dorm room. ”That wasn't funny you twit.” a thin, petite looking girl fumed. Another round of laughter filled the room, the girls had smiles plastered on their faces. The conclusion of nearly leading on of your dorm mates to her "doom". Aria made a face, trying to be a good sport. Her fuse was burning, but she was trying to put it out. She put her hands up, as if though she were surrendering to them. She sighed, heading for her closet. She grabbed a couple of things, slipping into her wardrobe swiftly and heading for the door. ”Awe, where are you going?” one of the girls groaned. She could feel the holes from people's eyes burning in her back as soon as she reached for the door knob. Right no wasn't the best time to mess with her. Aria had already gone out the door and into the common room, and finally found her way out of the castle.
Spring was finally rolling around. Relief. The cold, Aria always hated it, the shivers down her spine, goosebumps that crawled creepily up her body when a wind blew. It drove her mad, but she always knew that spring would roll right around the corner. The warmth that spring engulfed her with was a vice. This weathered inspired today's outfit, a simple blouse with graphic upon it, black jeans, and a mahogany coloured waistcoat. And just for fun a black fedora. Aria wandered around campus, boredom gradually sinking its way into her interest level, depleting the amount of focus she had to do anything. She needed a distraction, someone to keep her company, and not just anyone. Aria could be entertained by anyone, easily. However, today she needed someone special, it took more than just a dunce to keep boredom from striking.
Small little thumps came from underneath her feet, they created a rhythm as she walked towards a bench located in the far corner of the courtyard. Cold, hard, shiny, marble. She sat on the bench, looking for a form on entertainment, people walked back and forth. Aria found herself looking at the clouds and forgetting about her boredom. The shapes fascinated her, they are all so... simple yet complex at the same time. You could see a bunny but at the same time find yourself looking into the eye of a fish, or something of the like. Suddenly out of nowhere a whistle interrupted her, what seemed like timeless, bliss. Startled, Aria rolled off of the bench, letting out a loud grunt of sharp pain. Her hat lay lazily and untouched on the bench, she shot a glare at it. Aria looked around to see a group of Hufflepuff males, trotting around acting rambunctiously. She sighed, attempting to fix her hair and placing herself back on the bench. She could hear the snickering from another group of Slytherin's.
She bit her tongue, and kept her mouth shut. She didn't need to get in a scuffle. If she did it would not just cause her problems, but Kiera and Eloise. Especially Kiera, she had a tendency of calling her out on her bullshit. Aria thought about it, she missed Kiera. It had been a while since she had seen her, it seemed like ages to her. The anguish of not seeing one of her best friends fully set in. She wondered what she was doing. Aria's mind wandered. Finally she remembered last Saturday. She had met what seemed like one of the most amusing people she had talked to all year, his name was Rhys. And then... this girl, whom was very pretty in Aria's opinion, came up to the both of them. She was obviously furious and blew a fuse. Suddenly a fight erupted between the girl and Rhys. Aria was confused as fuck. She had never really one to witness something like that. However she had been the one to do it. Aria refrained from the thought.
She didn't want to put herself in a horrible mood. What she needed to do was cheer up. Fine something to do with her free time. Her mind flickered between the two events. It hurt most to think about what was being fueled by both fights. Anger, jealously, lack of trust. So many ugly emotions were backing them up. Beautiful people do ugly things. Aria sat there, again deep in thought, her elbows placed on her thighs, and her hands making a tent around her mouth, her eyes steadily watching the unmoving, smooth, concrete ground.
