Lacey stepped into the always empty trophy room and dropped her bag on the floor. It was late in the night, around one or two, and she figured this was the best time for her to come and practice her dancing. She leaned down and pulled a stereo out of her bag, setting it down on the floor before sitting down next to it to stretch. The trophy room was perfect for her needs, since there was quite a bit of empty space in the middle of the room.
She sighed as she felt her muscles begin to loosen. Stretching always worked wonders, not only on her muscles, but on her relaxation as well. It was her step one to letting go, opening her soul through the art of dance. She closed her eyes and focused on the feeling swelling through her muscles. It was almost time for her to start dancing.
Lacey finished stretching and stood up, turning on her stereo and pressing play. The music began to flow out of the speakers as she let it envelope her. She began to dance along with it, pirouetting and leaping to her hearts desire. She wasn't doing anything she had previously learned, more just choreographing as she went. It was very relaxing and rejuvinating, this late night dance session. She wished she could express herself this openly normally.
Lacey finished her dance as the song ended. She walked over to the stereo and put in another song, wanting to continue dancing. Just as she was about to press play, she heard something. It sounded as if another person was present.....but where? No one else should be up at this hour. Lacey grabbed her wand and held it out in front of her, not sure what she should expect to emerge from the shadows. [/blockquote] Words 304 Outfit clicketh.Tags Open Notes Nada!!!

Hello There; the angel from my nightmareThe shadow in the background of the morgueWe'll wish this never end AnaLeigh needed a break. She needed five minutes away from those bloody first years. For God’s sake it was around one in the morning! She would hide in a broom closet if she had too; she just needed a moment to herself. So she went to the trophy room. She was looking for a moment of tranquility but if anyone caught her she would be looking for trouble. By the time she got there it seemed someone else had already taken the trophy room. Music was playing and if AnaLeigh strained her ears she could hear it. Of course, her curiosity got to the better of her and she slid into the room. The song ended right then. A girl in her house but a year below AnaLeigh was ending what looked like a very graceful dance. AnaLeigh believed the girls name to be Lacey, but she could be mistaken.
Where are you and I'm so sorry I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight I need somebody and always This sick strange darkness comes creeping on so haunting everytime When the girl called Lacey realized AnaLeigh’s presence she turned cautiously towards her, wand drawn. Alarmed, AnaLeigh spoke. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to intrude.” She said, rushed. Honestly, she hadn’t. If this girl wanted her to leave, she probably would. Or maybe her stubbornness would get to her. AnaLeigh stepped from the shadows with her hands raised so Lacey could more clearly see her. The last thing she needed was to be hexed. And as I stared I counted the webs from all the spiders catching things and eating their insides Like indecision to call you And hear your voice of treason Will you come home and stop this pain tonight stop this pain tonight The large empty space felt much smaller than it had when she first walked in. The usually over-confident blonde stood nervously. A part of her was saying “she’s younger than you, stop being ridiculous!” but another was saying “you knew someone was in here but you came in anyways”. AnaLeigh had been in trouble before, so she obviously wasn’t a prefect. A smirk settled over her face that could be passed off as an innocent smile “It’s a bit late, don’t you think?” she asked sweetly. Hopefully this encounter would be entertaining. Lacey lowered her wand as the girl walked out of the shadows, hands raised. It was a girl from her house, a year above her. AnaLeigh was her name, Lacey thought. She seemed oddly nervous, but that was probably just because she hadn't expected to have a wand shoved in her face at one in the morning, in the trophy room of all places.
Lacey smiled at the girl and shrugged. "It's alright. Free space and all that. Not like I own the castle or anything." She said as she dropped her wand back into her bag and examined the girl. Obviously not a prefect, and therefore someone she could trust not to turn her in for being out so late. As if on cue, AnaLeigh asked Lacey if she thought it was a bit late. She chuckled and shook her head. "Yes, I suppose it could be considered a bit late for some people. For me, however, it's not late at all. I love wandering the castle at night." Lacey said with a smile. She wasn't sure what had brought this girl here, but she assumed it was for similar reasons to her own. Not necesarily to dance, but to get out of the common room. Still, she felt the question burning at the back of her mind. "What brings you in to the trophy room at this time of night?" Lacey asked casually, wondering how she would answer her inquiry.[/blockquote] Words 257 Outfit clicketh.Tags Open Notes Nope, I don't mind you snagging it at all!!! gives me somethin to do hehe
Lacey put her wand away, much to AnaLeighs relief. Once it was safely out of sight she turned to look at Lacey. Lacey answered. AnaLeighs question then asked her what she was doing there. "oh, stupid first years" she said with a shrug "at one point everybody would need a break" AnaLeigh concluded with a small smile. "I didn't expect to find anybody here, to tell you the truth." the trophy room was usually deserted, especially at this time of the night. But the common room was a different story. Even at one in the morning people were coming and going, talking, giggling, doing homework or just practicing spells. All too loud for AnaLeighs taste. She liked to party, but at some point she needed time to herself. She tried to "practice" a silencing spell on one of them but prefects and head boy/ girls be damned and se was threatened with detention. At that Point she left with a roll of her eyes and her usual smirk on her face.
So why did she come here specifically? In all seven year of her roaming the castle irresponsibly like she so often did, AnaLeigh had only been here one other time. In her head it made sense that if she had only been there once, not alot of people would be here. That's what she was hidig from right? People? It had been a hell of a year and she just wanted some time to herself. But she really didn't mind the company of Lacey. In fact she preferred it.
