Lexi was nervous and excited. She hovered in front of the goal posts in anticipation. She couldn’t wait for the quaffle to come her way. But it seemed as she wouldn’t have to wait long at all. One of the huffelpuffs, a chaser, she was up against had the quaffle and was about to try and hit it into one of the goals. she prepared herself, to stop the quaffle, mentally and physically. Both Huffelpuff and Ravenclaw colors were seen all throughout the arena. She had to focus on the girl firing the quaffle in her direction. She concentrated and hoped the quaffle would not make it past her.

Since Kayla did not post, Lexi successfully blocked the shot against her, causing the Ravenclaw chaser to catch it and score a goal on Hufflepuff.

The quaffle was sent flying toward her. Like a cannonball, it landed in her arms; an easy catch but Sabrina struggled to maintain her grip. She took a quick moment to regain composure and darted toward the slytherin goal posts. The sound of the crowd cheering was confidence in her ears and in an instant, she knew. It was she who would keep the ravenclaw team on top. She had to prove herself to be a valuable player.

She hadn't been excited. Quidditch didn't excite her as much as it used to, considering the memopry loss. Because of that, Lucy didn't know much, except at that moment, Ravenclaw were winning two up on Hufflepuff. Not very hard to catch up on, Lucy was sure, but since they were at nil, the Hufflepuff's determination flared. She didn't know she had it in her. She took a quick scan of the field, and found a Ravenclaw with a quaffle. Hovering on her broom, she swung herself around, finding a bludger flying towards a team-mate, Quickly, she flew up and batted it away, aiming for the blue Ravenclaw's back.

The first game of their season and already the Ravenclaws were up 20 to nothing against the Hufflepuffs. This threw more fuel into the already striking fire of excitement that Ryan had received upon stepping into the pitch. His heart raced as his flew back and forth between the goal posts during the first two successful attempts his team had made, the wind rushing through his hair making it and his robes dangle in the wind. The quaffle was thrown up once again and this time it was Ryan's turn for a shot at glory. He reached out and grabbed the quaffle before it began its plummet back to the Earth, and secured it under his arm as he gripped the broom tightly and began to race off towards the Hufflepuff goal post. As his target became closer he took the ball in his hand and pulled his arm back readying his shot. Once he thought he had the right amount of distance he flung his arm forward watching the ball leave his grasp, his eyes fixated on the middle hoop.

Though Ryan tried to score on the hufflepuff goal post, his attempt was sadly not strong enough. The bludger shot by Lucy Weasley hit into the quaffle, causing it to fly away from Ryan. A Hufflepuff chaser caught it and flew to score on the Ravenclaw goal post.
Score: 20-10
Next up: Gabriella Weasley (Chaser 3) Vs. Helena Greyback (Keeper)

Gabriella took a deep breath when Ryan Wake had thrown the quaffle. "Damn" Gabriella growled. Hufflepuff was now matching up to them but Ravenclaw still had the lead by 10 points. She took a deep breath she guessed it was up to her to stall a little to give Ara Regency enough time to catch the snitch. Gabriella's mind was racing. "Guess their is only one thing to do" She whispered to herself. Gabriella grabbed the quaffle and raced toward the goal posts toward the keeper Helena Greyback. Gabriella knew in her heart that she could do this. She was going to make the team proud of her. There will be a party in that common room tonight she was sure of it she had faith in her team and herself. "We'll here goes nothing" She said she felt the adrenaline racing threw her body feeling the cold wind hitting her determined face she felt her heart beating so fast that it felt like it was going to leave her chest. Raising the quaffle in her hand and with a strong flick of her wrist Gabriella let go of the quaffle as it flew towards the goal. Then she waited with abated breath to see if this was going to be a victory it would be her first goal this year.

Ara had been just staring toward the game, hovered in the air right above the rest of her team as she waited. She kept an eye out for the tiny little snitch as she watched the game below. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a slip of gold flutter by. Her head snapped in that direction and she soared toward the golden glimmer. She gained speed and almost caught up with the snitch, and reached out her hand to grasp it.

Julie mounted her broom and hovered a good distance away from the game. She hadn't been playing Quidditch as long as the other seeker had, so she definitely wanted to keep close watch out for any sign of the snitch. She didn't pay any kind of attention to the rest of the game whatsoever. She was determined to catch that snitch. And then, there it was! But Ara saw it too, unfortunately, so Julie took off as fast as she possibly could. She caught up with Ara soon and reached out her hand in unison with her. She stretched out her arm as far as it would go, trying desperately to grab it before Ara did.

Despite her best efforts, Julie was just too late to catch the snitch and it was gracefully caught by Ara.
