Braeden stepped lightly out of the door of a shop. He wasn't really shopping, persay. Just kind of wasting time before he had anything important to do. He didn't get much down time like this between being a death eater and a professional quidditch player, so when he did he savored it. Turning a corner and keeping mostly to the shadows, Braeden made his way down the street of knockturn alley. He was on the search for something of interest, besides all the shops he had already been in millions of times.
He stopped in his tracks as he found what he was looking for. A person who seemed extremely lost and confused. Probably wandered in here on accident. It had been known to happen before. Unfortunately for this lost soul, they wandered into the alley on a day when a hungry vampire was wandering aimlessly. He followed behind the person for a few minutes, keeping enough distance between them so that he wouldn't be noticed. Not that it mattered. Braeden was never a very loud guy. They turned down into a dark alley off the main street, the perfect opportunity for his strike. He swiftly moved up behind the person and grabbed them, planning to feed on their helpless blood.
He was about to bite when he heard something. Something that made him freeze for a minute. Still covering his victims mouth so they couldn't scream, Braeden scanned the shadows swiftly for any sign of the noise. He couldn't see anything, but he had a sneaky feeling he was being watched. He didn't particularily like this feeling, especially because he was in a corner. If someone were watching him, waiting to attack, he would be stuck.

Helena Greyback was undercover. She was attempting to due her job but she hadn't gotten used to the fact that she was an agent now, for the Order as well. Life was different now. The only thing she feared about the job was death. Agents were likely to get injured and die at some point in their life. Everytime she was on a mission, she just had to get injured in some way. That was the only painful part of the whole concept. She gripped her wand sitting in the right pocket of her coat. She was hiding beneath the shadows of Knockturn Alley. She was only there because that was the perfect place to settle for Death Eaters.
It was getting slightly boring after a while. Nobody was appearing and sitting underneath shadows wasn't exactly all that fun. But suddenly she felt the aura of two people, one a bit darker than the other. Show time. She exhaled, glancing around the corner. Yeah, she'd seen him before. And yes, he was a Death Eater. And yup, he was about to suck the living soul out of someone. She hated vampires. They were undeniably dangerous. Alek was at home. She felt so guilty for barely being wit him due to her different jobs. Sometimes it felt like was to be brought up without his mother.
She shook these thoughts off, keeping her eyes on the guy with caution. He then noticed her presence and a lump formed in her throat. She sometimes wondered why she was an agent for she sometimes lacked confidence. She moved out from under the shadows, clutching her wand, aiming it him. And then she realised whom he was. She had seen his pictures around when she was flicking through the Order documents. Braeden Sparks. "Let go of the person, Sparks, and we can settle this like humans." she muttered in a soft manner.

He smirked and stared at the woman who's wand was now pointing directly at him. He knew who she was. Helena Greyback, order member and agent. He assumed she recognized him even before she spoke. Of course she would. The order probably had a whole file on him somewhere, locked away in their headquarters. It was a wonder no one had confronted him previously.
Braeden pushed the woman he was holding aside, not caring that she had most likely stumbled onto the ground due to the force of his shove. He drew his wand and pointed it at Helena. If it was a fight she wanted, she had come to the right place. When threatened, Braeden was not one to back down. That's partially what got him into so much trouble.
He allowed the smirk to drop off his face as he stared intently at the woman. "I don't settle things in a human manner."
Braeden said softly, his voice cold as ice. He continued to point his wand at the woman and wondered what she was getting at. If attacked, he was prepared to fight and even kill. The ball was in her court. It was all up to Helena.[/blockquote] Words 206 TagsRu CreditsRina says rawr at caution NotesIt kinda sucks, but ehh. lol

She noticed the smirk clearly visible on his face. "Wipe it off," she growled in a soft manner. She glanced at the woman he had shoved off with such intolerable strength. "Run." she whispered, watching the woman troddle off. Helena's blue eyes moved over to Braeden. She kept her wand aiming straight at him, but she felt fear running through her veins. His eyes were just so intimidating. Her wrist trembled as she gripped her wand with such tightness. She felt herself gulp a slight bit. Yeah, this job so wasn't for Helena. Why'd she even agree to take it in the first place? Oh yeah, she wanted to leave troubles at the Greyback manor, but it just gave her no good.
"Oh?" she asked, softly. "You don't? Well your response isn't very surprising, Sparks. You aren't human, you should stick to your basic instincts." she hissed. "But that's pretty much a negative thing for me. I stick to my own habits. I guess I'm not used to yours. Well we'll just have to play it out equally, see what instinct wins." she exhaled. "But honestly, I do warn you, Mr. Sparks," why did she just refer to him as Mr? She shook these thoughts off. "You don't know what I have in mind." she felt the thrills run through her veins as she spoke those few words of hers.
But then she remembered he was a vampire. Weren't they immortal or something? Not if she stuck something through his heart, right? She sighed. She hated the immortal ones. She reached into her front pocket, sliding out a dagger. She was going to try to get rid of this guy as quickly as possible. The less Death Eaters there were in the Wizarding world, the safer it would be. She backed away, questioning where to aim her dagger and how it would fly out of her hands. She had to concentrate. She eyed his heart, slowly lifting the dagger, she threw it with all her might with a loud huff.

Braeden chuckled and shook his head as he sensed her fear. He could practically see her hands shaking through the dark alley. Some order member she was. Obviously, she had not been prepared for the job she now had. That much was evident by the vibes Braeden was sensing from her. She was terrified. And for good reason. He had killed countless people simply because he could. This girl was no different.
True, when he first became a death eater and vampire he did feel some remorse for those who's lives he had taken, but those days were gone now. The years had changed him into a cold blooded killer, who was completely void of mercy and caring. Per the girl's request, he allowed the smirk to fall from his lips. She continued to talk about something or other and Braeden tuned her out. He was growing quite tired of all this chatter. Was she prepared to fight or not? A moment later, he received his answer.
He saw it before it began. The knife slicing through the air towards his heart. He sidestepped it gracefully and rolled his cold eyes as it landed somewhere behind him. "You're gonna have to do better than that, bitch."
He said, voice low and cold. Aiming his wand at her, he scanned his brain for the perfect curse. He could make it quick, but that wasn't his style. No, Braeden was one for drawing out the pain and violence. "Crucio." He said, shooting the spell towards the girl and concentrating on the pain he wanted to inflict.[/blockquote] Words 274 TagsRu CreditsRina says rawr at caution Notessoooo mean!!! lol

Shit, it didn't hit him. She raised an eyebrow, "Bitch?" she hissed, ashamed of the thought. Okay, now she really hated vampires. They were so quick. She then questioned what was going to happen next. Suddenly, she was hit by the Cruciatus spell. Every single vein her body killed with pain and she trodded back, and fell on her back. Why that spell? Why did the Death Eaters enjoy that one of all? Sure it gave the victim pain, but merlin's beard. Now was one of times she wished she was a vampire. She hugged herself, closing her eyes quite tightly, waiting for the pain to drain out of her soul.
It finally did after a minute or two. She got up weakily, glaring at him. Okay so her wand and her dagger wasn't going to exactly work. She was going to have to get closer to him. She held onto a pillar next to her with a bit of bark sticking out. She grabbed the bit of bark, gritting her teeth and pulling it off with all her might. She breathed out. The tip of the bark was quite sharp which was good enough. She stared at him with dark eyes, thinking of where to strike next. She exhaled and inhaled at quite a fast rate. She felt tension around them both.
She suddenly ran around him, landing behind him. She kicked him in the back, slamming the tip of the bark right through his back. She fell on top of him (if im god-modding, britt, do tell) Oh, wow this was awkward position, she thought. Her fingernails duh through the dirt She pulled herself off of him, landing right next to him. She kept her stare on him from the corner of her eye. She was contemplating on her next move, biting her bottom lip quite softly. He probably wasn't dead, but she did hope he was badly injured. Oh yeah, vampires were pretty hard to fight.

Braeden groaned as he felt the small girl knock him to the ground and shove something into his back. It hurt, yes. But did it injure him? Not bad enough to really help her defeat him. He was a pretty hard person to fight, simply because of the fact that he was immortal. He imagined that she would be quite frustrated by the time the fight was over....if he didn't kill her, that is.
Braeden pushed himself up off the ground and reached around himself, pulling the bark out of his back with a slight flinch. He looked at the piece of wood and then returned his eyes onto the girl. He began to plan his next move quickly, knowing she was doing the exact same thing. Braeden took a few steps back towards the mouth of the alley, allowing himself a quick escape route if she tried anything with her wand. Yes, we was a death eater, and yes he was a vampire, but he still liked to plan an escape in case he really needed it. He wasn't planning on using one. No, Braeden was planning on staying here and fighting to the finish.
Sifting through his mind for an attack, Braeden finally came upon one. He threw the piece of bark at the girl, hoping it would at least hit her and stick in her body somewhere, and then ran towards the knife he had dodged. Picking the knife up and turning back towards the girl, he waited for her to either show signs of injury or attack.
