Alex was laying in his bed, inside of the boy's dormitory of the Gryffindor common room. It was about two in the morning, and the boy couldn't sleep at all. He wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because he couldn't stop thinking about his new girlfriend. He felt as if he was being a bit obsessive. He was glad that no body in the room were a mind reader. Because he wouldn't want them in his head while he was thinking about his personal life. Slowly the Gryffindor slipped out of bed and looked outside through of one of the few windows in the room. The moon was shinning brightly in the sky, if it wasn't for it. The grounds would be pitch black. It took a few seconds for the boy to realize that it was actually snowing. But it wasn't heavy snow. It seemed like a normal night at Hogwarts, except for the fact that he was awake at the moment. Usually the teen could fall a sleep no matter what, and today he couldn't close his eyes for two minutes without thinking about Gabrielle.
Silently Alex changed into his black and red Gryffindor attire. Since it would probably be cold outside, he also grabbed his black cloak. After making sure he had his wand with him, he quietly left his common room. When the boy entered the stairways, he felt a blow of wind on his face. It didn't disturb him at all. He pressed on down the stairs. It seemed everyone in the castle was a sleep at the moment. The teen was very satisfied with the fact that nobody was out of their bed. Because he didn't want to get busted and then get points taken away from his house. That would really suck, and everyone would be pissed of at him. He didn't want anybody to be angry at him, since Alex wasn't the person that enjoyed having enemies. He preferred to be neutral then to be Hated and to be Loved.
Finally the Gryffindor approached the big doors that led to the grounds of the school. Slowly and Silently he pushed the door open, hoping it wouldn't make a sound. To his luck it didn't so nobody had no way of knowing that he was out of the castle at this time. He would surely get in trouble for being out this late. He wouldn't be out at this time if he had classes the next day. Luckily it was currently a Saturday morning, so he didn't have to worry about being tired during lessons. When Alex entered the outside of the castle, he felt a shiver go down his spine. He was glad he brought his cloak with him, because if he didn't he would have been freezing at the moment.
Now the swiftly made his way through the ground and into the Forbidden Forest. He didn't want to stay out in the open, because someone would be able to see him through a window. While the Gryffindor walked deeper into the forest, he could help but to look up at the moon. It was glowing so much this night, its beams forced themselves through the branches and leaves of the trees. The boy's hand kept jerking every time a noise was heard by the teen. He was being a bit paranoid now, but he should be cautious out in the forest at this time.
