Nike and Ismena never got along at all. On the way to Hogwarts they did not even sit together. When they got to Hogwarts they where put in their houses Slytherin. Nike never knew why Slytherin but that what she got. On the second day at hogwarts she meet a Ravenclaw boy named Derek. It was kind of love at first sight. They spent all their time together through the year and her sister did not like it. Why? Well Derek was a Muggle born. Ismena told her parents of Derek. At this time the sister where seventeen. So the thing her parents did was to arrange a marriage for Nike. It was very upsetting to her. She did not want to be married to someone she did not know. The only thing to do was runaway. Derek and Nike did runaway after hogwarts and got married.
Nike was banished from the family for forever for what she had done. Derek and her lived very happy. She became a professional writer later on they had a child together. She was the most beautiful baby she had seen. She did take after Derek. From there she stayed home with her baby and wrote. She became a professional writer and there were many books published with her name, also a few magical books. But she didn't sign them with her double last name. She didn't want her family name to be there. She was different than them and it was only blood and facial similarity to her twin that still reminded of Nike being a member of that family.
When Nike heard Ismena's younger daughter got with a Ravenclaw she laughed. She laughed so much that she decided to write a letter to her sister after many years of silence. She had reason to payback Ismena somehow. Maybe a Slytherin in her wasn't completely gone. Sorting hat had a reason to put both sisters into that house.
Dear Ismena, I heard about Lisa being engaged to a boy you and your husband didn't choose for her. I must say I'm amazed, especially since he was a Ravenclaw. What can I say. Our parents were wrong, you were wrong. All I hope is that you finally realized that. Oh and I wonder how Roger reacted to these news. I bet he's mad, maybe even mad at you? That's hilarious, don't you think? Maybe it's karma knocking to your door finally.
Best wishes, Nike.
Writing that letter gave Nike so much fun. She finally could say what she thinks. She could be as sarcastic as she only could. She attached an envelope to owl's leg and sent it with a letter to her sister. Her husband was at work in the muggle pet clinic his father owned. Their seven years old daughter was in the muggle school so Nike was home alone in the muggle town.
