The weather had chilled down considerably since summer, and it seemed to Nina like the time was flying by. Last thing she knew it was still August and now as she sat in front of her school books in the library she could see snow drifting acrossed the grounds out of the window. The sky was dull and gloomy really making it hard for Nina to study. All she wanted to do was curl up by the fire in the Hufflepuff Common Room and relax and not worry about studying, homework or anything serious with a hot chocolate snuggled up in her pajamas. Yes, that sounded fantastic, a lot better then studying for the Potions test coming up.
Sighing she laid her head down on the open book in front of her on the table. The library was surprisingly empty, then again who else would be studying on the weekend late at night in the library? Not anyone, most of her house took off for the evening to Hogsmeade, she had almost followed their example but was determined to try to get caught up in school. Her mind had been on Quidditch lately. She had made Quidditch captain this year so everything was all on her and she really wanted the Hufflepuff team to do good this year.
With her mind on Quidditch and the upcoming match Nina drifted off into a deep sleep with her head in the middle of her book. It could have been minutes or hours, Nina didn't know, until she woke up. Rubbing her eyes she put back on her glasses that she had took off earlier that night. Her hair was probably a mess, her face was probably red from laying on the book for so long and she really was not interested in finshing up her school work. Closing her book and leaning back in her chair she tilted her head back till her neck rested on the top of the chair and she stared off at the ceiling. It was much higher then she had ever realized it to be. Tilting it slightly she looked at it in a different angle. Leaning the chair back on only two legs she kept on looking at the ceiling.
Before Nina could feel it coming soon enough to stop it she felt the chair tip a little further back. Within seconds she heard the chair snap underneath her and found herself laying on pieces of the chair stunned. Looking around she was thankful the libraian was currently not around. "Real smooth Nina," she spoke to herself as she continued to lay on the ground to tired to stand up.

With the new found world of motherhood hanging over her, Kelsey barely found time for herself anymore. It was like her life was on some sort of daily routine. She would wake up, take the kids to Harry's, go to school, come home, go get the kids, then put them to bed, do homework then put herself to sleep. Well, the sleep part barely came. Those children of hers kept her up at all hours of the night. Almost every lunch break at school she would sneak off into the common room for a nap. She was still not used to this whole mothering thing. Hell, she was still not sure if she would ever get used to this whole thing. After all, she was still only a child herself.
Having had a rough day, Kelsey was more than happy to see her last class of the day end. Next stop, home to her children and husband. Luckily, today was Friday and she would have the whole weekend to relax and just be with her family. It seemed lately that her and James barely ever spent much time together. He was either at practice or at a game and when he was home she was at school or doing school work. But, as determined as they were, they did make some time for each other, which was good, even if it was only an hour or two a day plus the time they spent sleeping next to each other.
There was only one more stop she had to make before she made her way home and that was to the library. She needed to pick up some last minute books before heading home for the weekend. Kelsey practically ran the whole way to the library. Her goal was to get the books she needed quickly and then go home for a quick nap before she went to go pick up the children at James' parent's house.
Stepping into the library, Kelsey went straight to the book stacks and began to search for books. After five minutes of searching, she had obtained three out of the four books she was looking for. The fourth one she was trying to find was hiding rather well. Frustration washed over her face as she paced past bookcase after bookcase, looking over each title. Finally, after a long search, she found the book she was looking for. A smile washed over her face as she went to the librarian's desk and check out the books. After saying goodbye to the librarian, Kelsey began to head past the studying tables and to the door. She would have almost been out of the room too if it wasn't for the distant sound of a crash that caused her to turn around and look at what happened.
There before her laid a girl on the floor surrounded by chair pieces. Gasping, Kelsey rushed over to the scene, hoping that the fallen girl was okay. "Oh my Merlin, are you alright? Did you hurt yourself?" Kelsey asked as she placed her bag and books on the table. She then extended her hand out to the girl, waiting for her to take it. The red head hoped the fallen girl was okay. Thank Merlin that Kelsey was the only person who witnessed this accident or this girl would have been the butt of so many jokes around the school for awhile.

Nina, once a clumsy person, always a clumsy a person, seemed to not have much luck. After the summer break she had thought that maybe her clumsy spree at Hogwarts was over, but now as she laid on the ground surrounded by wooden pieces from the chair she had previously been sitting on in the Library she had come to realize that this was not true. Clumsy as she was, she was thankful that no one had seen it..or so she had thought at that very moment.
Continueing to lay on the ground she shook her head as she slapped herself directly square in the forehead still muttering to herself about being a clumsy idiot. No wonder Aidan and her had broke up. And yet that thought still stung. She had spent all her life living with Aidan Boot who she ended up falling in love with only to end up with a broken heart when he decided to run off wherever and leave her without a home, a family, love or anything.
Nina was officially alone now. She didn't have many friends thanks to the fact that her whole life had been built around Aidan. And now, as she laid on the ground she wished she could just die. Before she could actually pick herself up off the ground and locate her want to fix the chair she heard a girls voice approaching her. Apparently someone had seen what happened. Great. Now she probably looked like a loser.
Nina recognized the girl as she came over to her. It was Kelsey a Ravenclaw. Nina had never spoke to her though. Taking the hand that the girl had offered to help her up, Nina smiled friendly. At least she could be friendly even though this girl was probably laughing her ass off inside. "Thanks," she said weakly as her face went red. "I'd try to make up a lie like someone was hiding behind a stack of books and broke my chair for me but I'm sure we both know that we are the only two here," she said with a small laugh in an attmept to cover up the embarassement.
