Crackers, it was the only thing Cass could keep down. The stomach flu knocked her on her butt a couple of days earlier and seamed to be getting worse not better. Trying to cope with the sickness instead of going to the glaring nurse seamed like a better option, but was loosing reason quickly. She couldn't lying there on the floor of her office forever, that was the only thing that kept the sickness at bay with lots of crackers, which was piled on a plate, with a giant mug of tea that a house elf had brought up not that long ago. They missed her leaving books on the table to be dropped down the the kitchens after meals and so one by one each had dropped off food for her outside of her office door, and now she left a book outside for each one, one of her own collection of children books, that were easy enough for them to look at the pictures and try to learn to read. They weren't the sharpest bunch, but she thought it interesting how much they liked the books, which she had found out after by accidentally leaving one after breakfast and going down to the kitchen to fetch it. They had been so excited about the pictures that she couldn't help doing it more.
Staying still was the only way to keep her mind focused enough to not get motion sickness, she couldn't even read. If it was up to her to depict what was happening, she was dieing. She couldn't read, she couldn't move, and she couldn't eat anything other then crackers. She would rather be dieing, then all of this mess. She hadn't even been able to see Jack in quite some time, as she didn't want to worry him with the small stomach flu that was killing her slowly. That was just her being dramatic she had to repeat to herself over and over. It wasn't like her to get sick, she was one of those kids who did all the extra pre-cautions to stay away from colds she had a whole ton of medicine in her chest up the spiral stars to her room, but none of them seamed to be helping. She had figured it would have passed by now, but this was getting ridiculous. How long does it normally take to get over a simple little stomach bug.
She heard feet approaching too loud to be an house elf, it was also too early for them. She had one of her older students taking care of the library so no one to ask her any questions. She had been very glad to have some peace and quite because lately headaches had been a constant symptom. It also didn't look so good to be lying on the ground behind the librarians desk if the headmaster had walked in, it was a different story to be on the floor of her own office, behind a think dark hardwood door, that was sound proof to the library, but she could hear everything going on in the library. She the feet stopped she made a lucky guess out loud. "You may enter Ms. Raven." she said before the girl could knock which was a good thing, because that may have triggered her again. She tried to sit up but decided against it when she felt the nausea rush back the moment her head left the ground, and slightly dizzy at the same time. She was soo sick of being sick.
As she heard the door open she did not dare to look to see if she was correct, she was fighting with herself to stay still. "What would you like dear, today's not the best of days for me to train." she said speaking to the blue painted ceiling. Cassandra's office looked like you were in the center of a forest with what looked like real trees growing through the ceiling making up the walls, with vines intertwined through out and a moss covered desk with two mushrooms in front with a large leaf like chair on the other side, a vine covered spiral staircase lead above to her sleeping corridors. It was designed after one of Cass's favorite muggle books Alice in wonderland, even the floor felt like moss covered dirk, a little less dirty though. The sky had the same enchantment the great hall did where it looked like the sky. Instead of floating candles there were Christmas lights strung around the trunks of trees and dropped from those that had small limbs to others with small limbs. It was home to her, in a book, if only it made her feel better].
