Tempest sighed as she walked down the corridor towards the libary. she had got a note with blue ink that was said for her to come to the libary. she sighed as she looked around, she didn't really like school or her teachers but she knew that what they were teaching her was really useful,so she worked hard in class. she was wearing a simple, yet warm winter outfit. it wasn't the best looking outfit around but it was something that she liked and it kept her warm and kept the cold away enough for her, so she wasn't going to complain about it. she hated that the school was on lockdown, it was annouying to be inside all day with something to do, expect practice her spells and she was getting pretty good with them. Tempest sighed as she arrived at the libary to find it closed. she sighed angerly as she looked around then leaned against the wall. she looked around for something to do. after a few moments, she spoted a old peice of ammour had fallen from a old statue. she smirked as she pulled out her wand from its hold that was around her leg and cast Winguardiam Leviosa on it. she put it back in this place on the statue, to be repair by someone on the staff.she sighed after that and smiled as she looked around and waited for someone to arrive. she started for humm after a few moments and got lost in her own little world. she was brought back to realilty by the sound of some foot steps several minutes later. she turned and pointed her wand at the direction of the wand. she sighed and lowered her wand when she saw it was a staff memeber, who name she had yet to know. www.collegefashion.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/winter-outfit-4.jpg her out fit) cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/2b/7/AAAAAorUtqQAAAAAACt-LQ.jpg?v=1169712495000 her wand holder)

"I suggest you put that away."
The voice was not tempered as long slim fingers snapped and Tempests wand went back into the holster. Cassandra did not like having wands pointed at her, it made the instinct to defend as she was taught come alive, like it was programed in her mind. "Some one might think you were a play toy with a little challenge. In these times, don't just point. Good way to loose your wand as well." With a couple more clicks of her heels she walked by the girl and the library gates dissolved into mid air like smoke disapating. Without a flinch at the illusion, she turned around and looked Tempest up and down for a second. Without even a move, the old armor clashed against the ground once more.
"Do you like books, ms. Raven? because you've been chosen to help me take care of them for the rest of the school year." she started softly leaning on one of the many tables that started at the entrance of the library and went deep into the midst. Along with the row and row of endless books, this was her home. But there was more up her sleeve then boring tasks. Tempest had been chosen, for more reasons then one.
"Books can teach you everything you ever wanted to know. How to stop a heart, and how to stop it again. How to make it rain in a corridor ten floors above you, how to clean it up, and how to not get caught." Cass paused for a moment. "Since we are currently on lock down in this castle, I figured you could use something to keep yourself busy. Boredom can cause some to go mad, so I want you to be one of my student librarians. It's your choice though." she finished softly looking at the girl standing in front of her.
She knew the the sixth year had issues with adults one of the reasons she had picked her. Cass had been an orphan too, though she hadn't known her mother until recently, the abandoment took its tole on her still. She had spent most of her years at beauxbaton alone in the corner with her books, avioding proffessors when not in class as much as possible. Plus she knew the girl could have great potential, that she could help her. It may not be for good, but all she wanted was to help some one in a predicament that she was once in herself.
"I also offer my help in any subject your having trouble in, I have read a good percentage of the books here, and some books that arent here. Call me a reference book of sorts. I'm not asking you to trust me, I'm just saying I'm here if you need magic related help. I can either tell you the answer, or find you one. What do you say? she said shrugging a bit. As she leaned against the table talking she didn't look so old, just a tall awkard woman smirking at hands. Waiting for Tempest's responce.

Tempest sighed as she followed the woman and listened to her. she was already was having a problem with this woman. she watched her closely as she said" why did you choose me out of all the students in Hogwarts? there are hundreds better than me but sure I'll take the job as student Liberian" she looked a round the library and thought for a few moments then she said to her" do you know any spells that can locate people outside of Hogwarts?" she wanted to find her parents and make them pay for leaving her all alone like they did, all those years ago. they were the ones she hated with her soul. everyone else she just had a extreme dislike of, that was the students and hated the adults no matter who they were. "why did they put this bloody school on lock down any ways" she asked as she looked at the woman. she leaned against a table for a few moments then sat on the table and faced the woman and watched her quietly.
Tempest looked at her then looked around the library and stared at the rows of books that were all around them.she was amazed by how many books there were in here. after a few moments she looked back at her and sighed as the night her parents left her all alone flashed in her mind, which mind anger show in her emerald green eyes. she remained quiet as she didn't know what to do or say at all now, since she wasn't at all the talkative type with adults

"why did you choose me out of all the students in Hogwarts?"
The first question out was the only one she dreded answering. Quietly she waited for her acception of the offer which was attached at the end with some more wonder. Slowly she nodded her head before tackeling the tough one. "Well Ms. Raven, I see talent in the way you even look at my books, good grades aren't a requirement to understand how mistreated books can be. You may look at me crazy but these cooks can feel, its part of there magic." Cassandra said looking at the next shelf of books from them.
"do you know any spells that can locate people outside of Hogwarts?"
Cassandra smiled wide, she held up a finger towards the girl. She turned on her heels and walked down the long library between the shelf. As she passed the shelves some times a book would fly down into her arms, when she returned she had six different ones, she placed them on the table and grabbed the first one, and placed it in front of tempest. It instantly opened flat with its binding flipping to a page describbing a location ritual using water. "Thats if you want to see the person your trying to find." she said not even looking at the page. Then she put the second book ontop, it did the same process but this one describbed useing a globe and a map. "That one's good if you want a location but you need an object of the person your trying to find."
But then she sighed. "There are so many different ways, but there are ways to cloak your self from them. It depends on how badly they don't want to be found." she said folding them and putting them on the stack again. Then she lifted the heavy stack except for the last one. "This one is the most powerful, but its dangerous." she said holding the black nameless leather book. It came from the restriction section, the pages were black and the page it landed on had the words illumnated by silver ink. It was also hand written looking, but before Tempest could read it she snapped it closed. "If none of the others work we can talk about this one, but you wouldn't be able to do it alone." she said and then the book left her hands and zoomed back into the crevsis of the library.
"why did they put this bloody school on lock down any ways"
Cass smirked down at the ground for a minute, in short the answer would be Jack but she knew thats not what she wass supposed to say, but she didn't want to just give her an excuse to the girl. "To be honest, a dark wizard is threatening the students and he's already turned St. Mungos upside down. He's calling himself the dark prince. So the ministry is taking it very seriously." she paused thinking about the scene at the hosipital with blood every where.
"So instead of sending you all home, there hoping that this will keep every one safe. Because Hogwarts is the safest place on earth." and even there they weren't really safe. She didn't say the rest of her thoughts, knowing she had felt him in the castle a couple times in the past couple days, and she had heard that the head masters daughter had been abducted. Though by the request of the headmaster the students were not to know, but who could be so blind. Kelsey was a hard girl to miss, and when she wasn't in class who wouldn't notice. Others had gotten abducted as well recently but she didn't know who was the ones involved. This lockdown had given oppurtunity to those who wanted to cause chaos, including some you wouldn't even think of. Another reason the Library had been locked every moment Cassandra wasn't in it, because of the mess they could make of her beautiful books.

Tempest smiled as she listened to what the woman said. then she smirked and picked up one of the books and read through it and looked at the spell. she put it back down as she listened to the woman. she looked at the locket she was wearing that use to be her mothers and looked at her wand's holster, which was her father, which he loved a lot because it was made of a rare dragon skin, when she heard the woman say ""That one's good if you want a location but you need an object of the person your trying to find." she looked at the woman and said" i can use those spells" she was happy that she finally found a way to find her parents and make them pay for leaving her. she looked at her and said" i'll try those spells later on" she smiled as she thought back to what she said about the lock down and then she said" i understand it's bad and chaos is going to get worse i just have a feeling it will."

"I'll try those spells later on."
Cass smirked for a minute, glad she had lifted her hopes if just a little. Quietly she turned and started heading for her desk. "Then we shall check these books out then." she said in excited tone. Weird was an understatement, the way she looked at all of the books were as if they were all old friends or children she was sending off for a sleep over. Worried yet hopefull that they'd help others. When she returned she had a stamp in hand, it was ivory white. She took the first two off the stack and opened the covers of each side by side. She stamped both of the tags with elegant writing of a date two weeks from that day in a dark crimison red. "Now could you place your finger right there?" she said pointing right next to where the stamp left off a space. "I suggest only two for the time being, when you've tried those you can come back and ask the same question to the library, if no one else is asking any questions of it, the books should jsut fly into your hands. If it doesn't work, just find me."
Once a finger was placed next to the stamp, the person recieving the book would feel a little prick of the finger, not enough to hurt but just enough to notice, and then the book would fill in there name, binding them to the book until returned back to the library. Just as a precaution to not loose the book, or miss placed, if and when a book is left behind it would just appear of the bed of the person borrowing it until it was returned. But Cassandra didn't want to scare any of the children, so that part she normally left out. If they were good to the books, they wouldn't have to find out.
" I understand it's bad and chaos is going to get worse i just have a feeling it will."
Cass nodded silently as she walked down the isle of desks once more placing each book in mid air by its rightful shels and so started drifting back to its home. "If you only knew my dear. You weren't alive really when You-know-who walked the earth. The fear and panic he spread made even the strongest weak and terrified. Things are going to get a lot worse." she said not facing the girl for a moment, when she turned finally and walked back towards the girl she glanced at the clock above the door.
"You should probably be heading to class now, I don't want you to be late. When you wish to start training, just come and find me if I'm not out here, I will be in my office which is right through that door. You must always knock, the library door knows who you are now so it will allow only you to enter, only I can open the door to every one else. But be warned the books don't keep secret, and they will not leave the library without being checked out." she said softly stacking the books in front of Tempest. "Good luck with all your classes. Hope to be seeing you soon Ms. Raven." With that she turned on her heels and walked into her office, when she opened the door you would see the bright green vines covering the walls, welcoming her back. tempest smiled a more smirk like smile as she did as the woman asked. she looked at the woman and nodded at what she said, before she pulled her wand out of its holster and said" accio bag" she smiled as she put her wand back in its holster as her bag zoomed into the library and towards her. she caught the bag by its shoulder strap. she sent it down on the table and opened it then she picked up the two books that she had just checked out and put them safely in her bag then she closed her bag back and said to the librarian " thank you" then she put her bag over her shoulder before leaving the library to go to her next class. her bag www.faqs.org/photo-dict/photofiles/list/2156/2817shoulder_bag.jpg and i' sorry i didnt know what else to put )
