JUST GONNA STAND HERE AND W A T C H . M E . B U R N
things had all taken a turn for the worst when doryen had called it quits on her last relationship. it was shocking to think that doryen could have actually loved that person. she liked them, of course, but there was that first feeling of fire and passion that she hadn't felt for a long time. the fire had been out, all that was left was the ashes, burning at her insides. and now it was happening again, doryen began to wonder where this might go. she wasn't one for commitment. maybe she'll never be able to handle it, and that frightened her too. that she'll be so afraid of it, she'll end up alone. sometimes she liked being alone though. a lot like how it was just before doryen had ended her relationship with helena greyback. she had been avoiding the hufflepuff. because? there were a lot of reasons. helena was flawless in so many ways, too many ways. doryen had so many imperfections, too many. she would always ask why helena could even be near doryen. what did she see in the goyle? and there was always the question of, where is this going? well doryen had decided fairly soon, that it was going nowhere. but maybe she had forced it to go nowhere by calling it quits. well it was done and dusted, and nothing could change it.
the young, now ex-slytherin was causing concern not only amongst her friends, but her teachers aswell. she would attend classes only occasionally, and whenever she did, she would never listen. her head would be laying on her desk, her eyes tight shut, with dark circles around them. it was plain to see that doryen was ill. she knew it too. but she didn't want to be cured. she preferred to suffer. she deserved it. then it was decided that doryen just left school altogether. she knew she was never going to pirsue any career concerning magic. she had no desire to either. and so one day, she disappeared from school altogether and rented a place in the leaky cauldron. and just recently she had figured out that she was needing to go home. to collect her things, maybe even say last goodbyes. she'd prefer it if she didn't have to go back. but this morning, she forced herself to get out of bed and she headed for home. home sweet home.
it had been a while since she'd looked at a calendar or asked what day it was, so she had no clue who might be home. she kept her fingers crossed that it would just be her father. doryen could handle gregory goyle. it had started to rain, and doryen had chosen against apparating. she was trudging through the bitter rain and cold, with her hands stuffed down the pockets of her jeans, and her head bowed down low. her scruffy hair was now plastered onto the sides of her face. she reared a corner and there it stood. the goyle household. with a sigh, doryen pushed herself forward and opened the front door of the house. she was greeted first by the warmth of the house, and then she was disturbed by emily, gregory's wife, who had nothing whatsoever to do with doryen. nor did the baggage she brought along with her. her twin daughters. the look upon emily's face was clearly disgust. doryen could gess she was outraged by what was in her house. doryen only stared emily down for a few moments before barging past her and heading straight for the stairs, to which lead to her room. but emily wasn't having any of it. she turned around and followed doryen, hauling her back down the stairs and screeching straight into her face. "what do you think you're doing here? you think you can just saunter back in? you believe we'll just take you back in open arms?" to which doryen merely answered 'yes' to emily's second question. doryen can saunter back in because as much as she dislikes to admit it, this is her home. she can come and go as she pleases. emily had become red in the face by this point. "i'm not taking your cheek any longer! just get out the house now!" doryen did not budge, but stared down at emily with no emotian for emily at all. "GET O-!" emily screamed, but doryen cut her off by smacking her across the cheek with her fist. emily fell back into the wall, clutching her cheek and sobbing. doryen took this oppartunity to get up the stairs, gather her things and then get the hell out.
with no regard to this house anymore, doryen didn't bother to opoen the door the civilised way and turn the handle. instead she crashed into her room with the same forced she'd used when punching emily. doryen snatched her bag and began packing, quickly and harshly. she could still hear emily's pathetic sobs from down stairs.

GO AWAY,, GIVE ME A CHANCE TO MISS YOU It had been sort of a nothing special day. Cory wasn't too deterred, because she was used to those. Things were normal around the household--well, as normal as they could be when you were living with a bitch twin and a constantly nagging mom. This was considered usual in Cory's mind. Within moments though, the peace throughout was shattered when a particular, certain someone burst through the door. She had no idea what had happened, but it couldn't have been good. Cory had been listening to music at the time, but even the beloved Planet Smashers were not enough to keep her from noticing startling noises that were going on in the rest of the house. The Gryffindor rose to a kneeling position from where she'd been lying on the ground in her room on her stomach, then to her feet, pulling the earbuds from her ears. Crashes, yelling, and sobs. Corrina could guess what it was that had happened to have caused such ruckus, but still she decided to go see for herself. The sight before her caused her to pale slightly, but quickly enough she recovered, and her angry face began flushing red. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Pulling open the door from where it had slammed shut no doubt from the force of Doryen's entrance upstairs at the brink of the Slytherin's room, Cory held on to it. As if she could use it as a weapon should her step sister try to come near her. "Is Mam crying? What's going on?" She'd deny it if you asked her, but either way the fact remained the same. Even being a brave Gryffindor, Doryen made her a little nervous. Cory frowned at the scene that was going on. She could still hear her mother bawling and her twin trying to soothe her and simultaneously cursing Doryen, from downstairs. She had no idea where Gregory was, but even if he was in the house, probably he wouldn't be of any use. Men had no idea how to control women. Most of the time, it was better that way--but definitely not in this case. Corrina watched as the nineteen year old paced. "Me mum's a bitch, yeah, I know, but calm down a bit, eh? I don't think any of us need this Jerry Springer shit."

It didn't really much matter who else was in the house. It didn't seem like Gregory was around, probably working or out getting hammered with drink. This was the Goyles. How darling. Doryen was quite frankly ashamed to call herself a Goyle, and that's why she was changing her name. Doryen was actually named Alyson, her father's choice. Now, having no desire to have anything to do with her father, Alyson was murdered and replaced by Doryen. Alyson was a very sweet and understanding girl. She was friendly and welcomed anybody into her life. She wasn't a smoker, nor was she a drinker. She was a child, an innocent child. It's not Alyson to blame, it's Emily. She was the one that stormed in and tore the Goyles appart. There was nothing left of what Daphne had built with the family. And so Alyson became Doryen, the name her mother had wanted but could never have. Daphne is dead now, and she'll never know of what happened when she died. Se held the Goyles together, and now without her, they were crumbling to bits. But Doryen isn't Alyson, no. Doryen is actually quite the opposite. She's guilty, she's a bad influence and she's an abomination. Oh well. She was only those things to the Goyles. Doryen wasn't a Goyle. She's a Greengrass.
With everything falling apart, Doryen had certianly turned for the worst. She was in and out of relationships, in a different bed every morning, and couldn't stop smoking. It was actually amazing that she didn't have a cigarette in her mouth now. Infact, she wish she had, so that she could piss off Emily more. But Doryen had pissed her off enough already, ignoring her, insulting her and now slapping her clean across the face. Atleast something good was coming out of this evening.
As she rammed her things into her small enchanted bag, that was expanding with every item she stuffed inside, she heard the door opening, and the sound of Emily's daughter, Corrina. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" Doryen glanced up to her step-sister with a sinister glare. "Piss off, Corrina." She replied bluntly, walking over to her as if to hit her, but instead took the beads off the dresser next to Corrina and flung them into her bag, turning her back on the door where Corrina stood. "Is Mam crying? What's going on?" Doryen scoffed and smirked, turning casually back to Corrina. "I'm moving out. Pathetic isn't she?" She was attempting, and probably succeeding at getting on Corrina's bad side aswell. But Corrina was the civilised one. Doryen could even say she liked her. But did she really want Corrina at all? Of course not. She'd polluted the Goyles along with her filthy mother, Emily, who was still bawling and wailing down stairs.
"Me mum's a bitch, yeah, I know, but calm down a bit, eh? I don't think any of us need this Jerry Springer shit."
Doryen was just zipping her small bag and slinging it over her shoulder. There were disproportionate sounds of rattling and heavy things colliding with eachother. Sometimes magic was helpful. And as she heard Corrina defending her mother, Doryen allowed her bag to drop back to the floor with a dull thud. She put back on the sarcastic grin and edged closer to Corrina. "She's more than that. She's a diabolical joke! I don't want anything to with that cow, you understand?! And don't you dare tell me to calm down, Corrina." Her voice had calmed to a dull, yet sinister roll. There was fire in her eyes and her teeth were clenched tightly in her mouth. If Corrina wasn't going to move. Doryen would quite happily run her over.
