Belle Grace wood was strolling along the grounds of hogwarts, wearing one of her favorite outfits. It was the hogwarts uniform with her own little twists on it. She wasn't really the proper, follow every rule type of girl and it showed. the way she throught in her mind rules were meant to be broken and she did when she could and throught the timing of it was right. she sighed as she walked along humming a song, that was one of her favorite. WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE
( and it never seems out of place )Laci was sitting up in a tree on the grounds of Hogwarts, her thin legs hanging down from the branches and a book in her lap. She had been up there for quite a while. Raven had been right, reading in a tree was much more relaxing than the common room, or the library. Patches of sunlight peeked through the leaves on the branches above her.
Her older sister had returned to Hogwarts and avoiding her had become an issue. Everywhere Laci went, her sister was already there and ready to snap at her. At this point, the fifteen year old wanted nothing to do with Gemma. Laci had changed since Gem returned. She had become more sarcastic and began to lash out at the first sign of a dis. This was not what the Hufflepuff wanted to be. She was turning into her sister, and that was the last thing that she wanted to be.
Laci had her nose in her book, a muggle book. If her sister caught her reading it who knows what would happen. Sword fighting, adventures, true love and danger flooded the pages and the girl’s mind. She loved stories like this, it made her imagination run wild, allowing her mind to escape from the drama that surrounded her in the real world. She wished that a man like Westley in the story would show up at Hogwarts and sweep her off her feet, taking her away from the madness. A man that would go to great lengths to keep her save and happy. A guy who would climb to great heights to rescue her. The perfect storybook ending filled her mind. Laci wanted action and adventure in her life.
Laci Ackerley’s mind was turning as she read the novel. A movie played in her head. The girl had dissolved into her own little world up in the tree. She blocked out everything that was happening around her, not allowing her movie to be interrupted. Not far into the book, a stranger interrupted her. Laci looked down from the branches in the tree to a girl standing in the grass. “Well, hello there,” Lace said to the girl.

Belle wood looked around when she heard somone say 'hello there' out of nowhere. After a moment or two , she looked up and saw a girl sitting in a tree. she looked at her and said" hello there" she wondered where the girl was sitting in a tree,so she decided to ask her."why are sitting in a tree?" she herself has sat in a tree before, but that was to hid from a teacher to avoid getting in trouble. she didn't think this girl was in the tree for the same as she did once. she looked up at her and throught for moment then she asked" may i join you up there?" she waited for the girl to say something in reply to both of her questions.

( and it never seems out of place ) “Why are you sitting in a tree,” the girl asked. Laci held up her book. “Reading,” she said plainly, “and trying not to run into my sister,” she added. It was true. It was next to impossible to run into Gemma while she was up in a tree. But then again, this was Gemma; you can never know when she’s going to show up. “May I join you up there?” the girl asked. “Sure,” Laci said with a smile. There was no reason why she couldn’t have any company up there.
Laci propped her book up in the branches near where she was sitting. She leaned down and reached down to help the girl up into the tree. “I’m Laci by the way, Laci Ackerley.” She said, introducing herself with a smile. She recognized the girl as a Gryffindor; not her year, maybe Gemma’s year, though she still couldn’t recall her name.
When the girl was safely sitting on the branch next to her, Laci reached over and gently tugged her book out of the tree. “So what brings you out here?” She asked as she opened the book up to the page that she had left off at. Laci was one of those skilled, multitasking people. She could read, talk and balance herself on the tree branch with ease. Her legs dangled below her, swinging around gently. A cool breeze caused the leaves on the tree to rustle. Laci reached over and grasped her robe, which was draped over an overhead branch. She put her robe on and let the bottom of it hang down from the tree, fluttering in the wind.

Belle looked at the girl and smiled as she climbed up into the tree and sat with the girl, said" its nice to meet you, Laci. i'm belle, belle wood" she looked around then up when she heard a sound that sounded like a whistle and saw her pet hawk, angel sitting a high branch. she smiled as she said" i'm out here for her" she pointeed up at angel " she's a red tailed hawk. she was a gifted from a distance friend." ( and it never seems out of place ) “It’s nice to meet you, Laci. I’m Belle, Belle Wood.” Ah, now Laci Ackerley was able to figure things out. Belle was a sixth year Gryffindor, same year as her older sister, but a different house. She asked Belle what she was out here for. A whistling sound came from high up in the branches of the tree. Laci looked up. A huge hawk was perched on a thick branch. Was that there the whole time? She asked herself. “I’m out here for her,” Belle pointed at the beautiful bird, “She’s a red tailed hawk. She was a gift from a distant friend.” The hawk’s deep brown eyes mesmerized Laci. “She is beautiful, what’s her name?” she asked Belle.
The bird reminded Laci of her new kitten, Oliver Twist. She named him after one of the muggle books that she had read. Laci really loved to read muggle books. She didn’t really care about the goblin wars or any of that stuff; she already knew all about them. Muggle stuff was new to her and it interested her.
Someone in the Ackerley family was allergic to animals, which was why Laci could never keep the animals that she brought home. Lately, the girl had been feeling a bit rebellious. She had found a stray kitten over in Hogsmeade a few weeks ago and decided to keep it. Laci could keep it at Hogwarts, no problems, but she had a plan for when she brought him home. She wasn’t going to let her parents know. The fifteen year old was perfectly capable of taking care of a kitten. In fact, she already had Oliver mostly trained.

Belle smiled more as she looked up at angel than looked back at laci and said" her name is angel" she looked at the girl as angel flew down and landed on a thick branch close to them. angel cocked her head slightly as she looked at laci curiously and belle said" she wont hurt you,will you angel?" she smiled softly when she heard angel whistled in response. she looked at angel then looked at laci and said"do you have any pets?" she smiled softly as she remained slience as she waited for laci to say something as she wondered what her family would say when they met angel for the very first time.

( and it never seems out of place ) Laci Ackerley sat on the branch, her thin pale legs dangled below her. Angel. That’s a nice name for a bird, she thought. Angel’s large brown eyes watched her as the bird landed on a nearby branch. “Do you have any pets?” Belle asked. Laci’s mind switched back and forth. She couldn’t risk having Gemma find out about Ollie, but it didn’t seem that this girl had any connection with her sister. She finally decided to tell the girl about her new kitten. “I guess so,” she started with, “I found a kitten a few weeks ago and I absolutely adore him.” It was true. Who could resist the charm of a baby orange tabby? Oliver had stolen her heart from the moment she laid eyes on him. “His name is Oliver, Oliver Twist and he is the man of my life,” Laci said as she smiled.
It was true about Ollie being the love of her life. His big blue eyes and creamy colored fur took Laci’s breath away. She really wished that Oliver was sitting on her lap in the tree, but she was afraid of Angel trying to eat him. The girl was far from stupid. She knew that her kitten would look like food to a bird of that size.
Laci worried about what her parents would think about bringing a kitten home. That would definitely not sit well with their mother, who was a clean freak. Hiding little Oliver wouldn’t be much of a problem and was definitely an option. She couldn’t give her little man away; it would simply crush her heart.

belle smiled as she relaxed on the branch,that she was now sitting on with Laci. she was enjoying talking to her. She looked over at Angel,who was sitting happily on a thick branch close to them. Angel was cleaning her feathers a little bit, before she looked back up and at belle then whistled at her as she shook a little. belle smiled and giggled a little as she conjured up a average size blue bag and opened it to reveal it was filled with treats that were for angel. She began to feed angel a few treats,before she looked back at Laci and asked with a smile" Do you want to feed her? She won't bite at all"She went back to being silence as she looked at laci then looked back at angel and fed her a few more treats and angel ate the treats happily then made a sound,that belle loved to hear, because it meant that angel was happy.Belle was happy to see that angel was happy as angel made another sound then she moved to a closer branch to them.she sat happily on the branch as she looked between laci and belle as belle said with a smile" i love being outside,it's always so pretty out here "she looked around her, not knowing what to say, since she wasn't much of a talker to people that she was just meeting for the first time. she remained silence as she reached at angel and began to softly pet her on the head, which angel seemed to be enjoying as she waited for Laci to say something. she was really enjoying herself as she relaxed a little bit and looked at laci with a smile then looked at angel who seemed to be perfectedly relaxed where she was.
