hey there sugar baby saw you twice at the pop show you taste just like glitter mixed with rock and roll I like you a lot lot think you're really hot hot The sun had rose early that morning but a particular brunette didn’t wake up till mid morning. It was still the summer so her snoozing brought her zero repercussion. Not that her parents would actually discipline her they had yet to do so in her sixteen years. They talked big but actually wouldn’t do anything to their darling daughter. They was a love hate relationship if you were to ever see one. Scarlette’s parents would do just about anything for her and she usually tended to walk all over them. Not that she could help it they just made it to easy for her, but she assumed that her mother had been the same way when she was a child as they usually didn’t do much to her when she was acting sassy with them. There were times when she wouldn’t come home for days and they treated it as though she had only been gone for hours.
This summer had been a little bit different. Scarlette had gone out but usually came home the next morning. Last night she had gone out to the new nightclub and was almost regretting it. Most of the night before she couldn’t remember and she didn’t know if that was a bad thing. Scarlette had woke up with her brunette hair devilishly around her and still in the same outfit as the night before. Surprisingly she didn’t look like complete hell. Scarlette had given in quickly and had a shower to prepare for the day to come. There wasn’t much on her agenda but she figured she would go to Diagon Alley and steer clear from Knockturn Alley. They closer she got to that place the more she wanted to go to the club scene and she needed a break. For the last week straight she had been hanging around that dirty place just hoping to get into trouble.
Running down the stairs she saw that the house was empty which came as no surprise to Scarlette. Her parents were rarely home they probably went out with her sisters some where and just didn’t want to wake her. Or that was what she was talking herself to believe, most of the time she felt out of place with her parents and the rest of the family. That may be because she didn’t really try to fit in with them. So grabbing her coach purse she was out the door and heading down the street. The girl’s ballerina flats scuffed the ground as she meandered her way along the beaten path. It took some time to get to Diagon Alley this way but she liked the freedom. All the time she felt so trapped and she just wanted to get away from it all. Trapped by school her parents you name it Scarlette Zabini felt trapped by it.
So clearing her head usually made her in a much buoyant mood. It always took some time but by the end she was much more personable and easy to get along with. Which not many people had the privilege to know Scarlette. In fact she got along with guys better than girls, which was no surprise to her. But she still had her close knit of friends not like she had seen much of them over the summer but that didn’t bother her. Maybe going into town would grant that opportunity. Not that she really missed her friends but she liked it when they fussed over her which they always did. For some reason her praise was needed to make their lives better. But it did worry her that she hadn’t heard from them all the much. Shrugging her shoulders she dismissed those thoughts and finally had reached her destination.
The place never changed sadly because it had potential but it would always remain fairly dreary. Even though the sun was shining it was like a cloud hung over the place or maybe that was only her interpretation. Dressed in a pair of faded blue shorts and a pink tank she walked around blending in. Usually dressing this casual was frowned upon but it gave her a opportunity to show off the tan she had gotten. Also showing over seventy five percent of her body flesh was bound to get her noticed by someone and perhaps have a conversation. For the lack of it was driving her crazy. Scarlette liked conversation and lived for company she was a very social creature. Which meant she needed her fix of companionship. Wandering around she saw old friends reconnecting and it was really sad that people needed it. Not that she was any different but she put on airs. Oh well she thought as she wondered around, there had to be someone that she knew here. [/font]

Cooper was woken up by some bright light that poured into his room. He groaned, pulling blankets over his head. Coop heard his Mum's voice, she said something about it being nearly noon...somethng about too much sleep being unhealthy or something. Cooper only lazily flapped his hand at her, not listening. He laid in his bed, head under the covers. Coop tried to remember the night before. There was a girl involved, he knew that. What was her name? Jane..Jill...something with a J. Cooper slowly sat up, running his hands through his already messy hair.
Last nights events had left him with one heck of a headache - which was rare. He had acquired the Irish alcohol tolerance so, he knew he must have drank in abundance to have a headache. Still, he remembered everything clearly, after the morning haze had lifted off his brain. Oh yes, he remembered Jill, or Jane, or whatever her name was. Juliet, we'll go with that. She had been on gorgeous girl. Not a bad kisser but, it had been too easy for Cooper to charm her. Actually, he was beginning to get bored with the girls he had been meeting lately. They all seemed to fall for his tactics too easily, posing no sort of challenge for him.
Getting up, Cooper went and ate his breakfast. Er, well, lunch actually. He barely listened as his mother chattered on about how he just wasted half a day sleeping. Coop didn't care. Sleep was important to him. It was probably one of the best parts of the day in Cooper's opinion. Eventually, after he lazed around the house for a bit, his mother forced him to go somewhere, and do something. Taking her advice - more like a command - Cooper flooed himself to Diagon Alley. He ended up in a quidditch shop.
Cooper remained in the shop for a while, just browsing some new products. After he was bored with that, Coop headed out to the street. Maybe he'd find a pretty girl. A new one - hopefully someone that wouldn't take all his words to heart. Cooper was ready for a challenge. He needed the change desperately.
He started wandering down the streets. Sure, there were lots of pretty girls but, if he happened to recognize one - like one he had out for a night, or date, or one nighter - Cooper avoided them. He avoided the physical pain he was pretty sure he had coming to him. Stopping at some random store window, Cooper looked it. There wasn't too much going on in the shop. It actually looked kinda of weird. Shaking his head, Cooper saw a refection of pink in the window. Curious, he turned and looked.
If Cooper was a cartoon, he'd be one of those ones with the bugged eyes whistling a ridiculous wolf whistle. All he saw was dark hair, beautiful bronze skin, the pink shirt, and shorts. Coop licked his lips briefly. Ugh, if she would just turn so he could see her face. He was trying to search through his memory - to see if he knew this girl. He probably did, or should. He desperately ransacked his brain for some witty line but, nothing sounded right. So instead, Cooper decided to just join her on the other side of the path. He didn't know what he was going to say, but he wanted a closer look.

I know you think you're special when we dance real crazy glam-aphonic, electronic, disco baby I like you a lot lot all we want is hot hot Diagon Alley was so dull in bronzed beauty’s mind. Seriously there was nothing fun going on there ever and all she wanted to do was have fun. In all truthfulness she never went there to shop, she’d much rather go to Paris. Luckily her mother was as big of a whore for fashion as she was. Out of all the Zabini daughters, Scarlette Giovanna was the worst of all of them by far. Not that she could help it. She was born, or she considered that, with expensive taste and that was that. It wasn’t even that they couldn’t afford her lavish lifestyle but her father was always going on about the value of a dollar. Unfortunatly in his youth he had been worse than her so she didn’t pay much mind to his lengthy lectures. So they went in one side of her pretty little head and out the other. Not that she wasn’t intelligent she just let some things slide. After all she knew she wasn’t getting anywhere with her brains she had to rely on other things. Mainly her looks and her status. Which was sad because they brunette had all the talent in the world if she would only tap into it. But that was asking a leopard to change its spots in for a set of stripes. Very unlikely of ever happening.
Now you may ask why she was even doing at Diagon Alley when she hated it so much. Well that was because during the day light it was far to shady to head into Knockturn Alley not to mention she was trying to break some habits. After all sex, drug, rock and roll was getting a little old. Or not old she just needed to add something to her regular routine. A new hot guy or something would make it all feel better. Going out night after night was a boar now. All the same guys hit on her even though she was only sixteen. They thought she was just another hot piece of ass that they could win over. It took a lot more than just looks and a couple smooth lines to make Scarlette interested. In fact it took a while for her to even consider dating a guy or even just hooking up. Even when she was at the bar she was difficult. A quick mind interested her and she liked talking to others. Maybe because physical contact was just getting old or rather the people were getting old. Scarlette was looking for some fresh new meat. Maybe that would actually get her excited to do something.
It seemed like her life was just going through the motions and she wanted something more. Whether it be in a guy or just something to do some substance. Kicking her feet as she went she let a exasperated sigh. It fell through her lips as she walked along. The sun beat down on her nearly naked back already hitting her bronzed tan. Traveling had done her skin wonders. Greece had been amazing she hadn’t wanted to return home. But like all good things it had come to a end. Now she was back in London, where it rained twenty four seven and was more dreary than the Arctic. Scarlette wished it would be more like today every day when the sun actually decided shed the clouds and be free. Sort of like what she tried to do with every day life. Most of the time she felt like she trying to break free from shadows. Not many people actually knew the real Scarlette Zabini.
Walking along she almost didn’t hear the shuffle of footsteps behind her. She was far to lost in her own thoughts. But when she looked over her left shoulder she notice a young man. At first glance she could tell that he was handsome and tall. Two things she liked in a guy. Scarlette slowed her pace noticing that he was on the opposite of the path as she but still walking on the same side. Scarlette would throw a glance over her shoulder ever now and then to see if he was still walking beside her. Stopping she let her cornflower blue eyes linger on her physic. “Do I know you from some where” she asked softly in her English accent. Scarlette couldn’t shake the fact that she knew him from some where but she didn’t know where. It could be school but she knew almost everyone in her year, mostly anyway.

Cooper momentarily felt like a stalker. He was following this girl, right behind her. She hadn't noticed him, yet. He had to chuckle to himself about it. Coop knew he was a stalker, not even close. He simply wanted to see this girl up close. Then again, he had met enough girls over the summer - two of which went to Hogwarts. One, he decided he'd like to just be friends with. The other girl, well...he wouldn't mind actually dating.
Steady dating..like haveing an acutal girlfriend, and the name Cooper Carmichael just didn't go together in the same sentence. Sure, he has had girlfriends but, he never kept them any longer that two weeks to a few months tops. This year, he seriously thought about finding something that lasted a little longer. Then again, he knew he was only sixteen. His ambition to get in the Ministry was ten times more important than having a girlfrend. Why not have fun while you still can?
Cooper gave her his girl-catching smirk as she turned to see him. So, at last she noticed him. That was good, because Coop never did figure out how he wanted to talk to her. His heart sank a little, instantly recognized the girl now that he got a good look at her. He just chased her down for nothing - Scarlette Zabini. Coop kept his smirk on though, and only nodded. It was obvious she didn't realize who he was. "School," he said, leaving it at that. He stuck his hands in his jacket pocket.
