Cooper came to London with his father. Eddie had come to Diagon Alley on some business, leaving Cooper bored. He ended up wandering on over to his favourite place - Florean Fortescue's. It wasn't too full, as he came in at an odd hour of the afternoon.
Coop took in a deep breath of air as he walked up to the counter. The air smelled of ice cold ice cream mixed the the smell of fresh baked waffle cones. These were some of his favourite smells. Cooper ordered his usual - a scoop of almost everything, in a bowl, with crumbled waffle cone on top. The worker knew Cooper's order well. He was probably the only person that did that.
After paying for his large bowl, Cooper walked over to an empty table, grinning to himself. He couldn't wait to eat. Cooper prepared to feast, tucking a napkin on his lap and in his shirt collar. Then, he dug in. He savored the flavor of the first few spoonfuls. After that, he just ate. His favorite hobby. As he got halfway through, he started slowing down. Coop knew a brain freeze was on the way. It was just a price one had to pay to enjoy such a delicious dish.
Cooper squinted, dropping his spoon. He rubbed his forehead - this was the worse brain freeze his had had yet. He looked over his shoulder as he heard the bell of the door jingle, wondering who was coming in. He hoped a friend - he was getting rather bored alone, and would soon have to entertain himself with spoons or something.

I remember when we stole the night.
Yet again, Kelsey found herself alone. Her whole family had left, without her of coarse. Chances are, they didn't forget her, they ditched her. Kelsey was used to this, seeing as her family didn't really care for her. Kelsey didn't ccare, she was just too different from them and the world. Most people did normal things like hang out with friends. Kelsey liked to glue goggle eyes on rocks and build tree forts. She was like a small child trapped in a sixteen year old body. Kelsey loved the way she was though. She wouldn't change herself for the world.
Kelsey, finding herself bored, traveled to Diagon Alley to get herself a nice snack. Kelsey adored ice cream. It was one of her favorite foods. So it was no surprise when Kelsey entered the ice cream shop and ordered herself a large strawberry ice cream. Kelsey scanned the room, finding herself a seat next to a very atrractive boy. Kelsey sat down at the table near the boy, digging into her ice cream.
" I just love ice cream!" Kelsey said out loud before taking another spoon full of strawberry goodness. Kelsey adored Strawberries. She could eat them everyday until she died. They made her mouth water and her taste buds explode. She made sure that when she had got her ice cream that there was extra fresh cut strawberries on top of the ice cream to make it amazing.

Cooper watched as a girl walking in, getting ice cream herself. He smirked to himself, knowing he would probably say something to her eventually. Cooper was quite a shameless flirter - it was almost like a hobby too. He went back to his ice cream but, kept an eye on the girl. She took a seat near him. Coop had to chuckle when he heard her comment of ice cream.
Cooper lowered his spoon, and turned to face. "What flavor do you have?" he asked, glancing at his own bowl. Most likely, the flavor she was eating was in his bowl - or already eaten. It took Cooper a little bit but, he recognized the girl from Hogwarts. He couldn't remember her name, he was bad with names. He did remember that she was a Ravenclaw though - from Prefect meetings.

Get your flirt on
Kelsey smiled over at the boy when he began to speak. She finally got a good look at him and knew him from Hogwarts. He was the Gryffindor Prefect. What was his name again? Conner? Conrad? Cody? Oh something with a C. It was on the tip of her tongue but she just couldn't think of it. Maybe it was Colby? No no, that is not it. Whatever it was, Kelsey knew it must be an attractive name because he had the face to match one.
"Oh, I have strawberry right now. I absolutely love strawberry. Anything strawberry is my favorite! What kind do you have? By the looks of it you have a real concoction in that bowl," Kelsey said laughing a bit. Her whole face lit up when she laughed. It made her hazel eyes twinkle and her smile whiten. The freckles on her face danced with joy as the sun hit them from the near by window.
"Isn't ice cream the most amazing thing in the world? I would die without it!" Kelsey said, taking yet another scoop from her almost empty bowl. Kelsey didn't care that she probably looked like a giant pig at the moment. When she had her ice cream, everything in her world was perfect. Ice cream was the world's best comfort food ever created. Well, in Kelsey's opinion that is.

Cooper grinned and nodded. Oh yes, he had quite an assortment in his bowl. He was pretty sure he ate strawberry already. Coop really couldn't remember after eating the first half of his bowl rather fast. "Hm, well I have a super bowl really," he said. Cooper grabbed his bowl, joining the girl at the table. He really wished he could remember her name.
"I usually get a scoop of almost everything," Cooper said, flashing her the smirk all the girls loved. "Then, I have them crush up a few waffle cones, and sprinkle that on top for a little crunch," he continued - wil all seriouness in his voice. When it came to food, Cooper tended to be serious. He loved food. Half of the time, Cooper didn't even care what it was he was eating, just as long as it tasted good. He was sort of a fan of weird foods as well from all over the globe.
Cooper realized that he needed to keep track of all the girls he met. He found, that they didn't like it when you call them a name that you think is theirs but, it's not. Coop learned that lesson the hard way, after a few sharp slaps on his jaw - and once, a punch to the nose. Some girls really do know how to throw a good punch. Maybe it was time Coop invested in a "little black book" like in the movies.

I scream, you scream.
Kelsey looked at her halfway eaten bowl with desire. She wanted more. All the fresh strawberries were now gone and inside her stomach now. She missed those strawberries. In the short time they were together, Kelsey grew a real bond with them. It was like a part of her was missing now. Without those strawberries, her life was worthless. She had no reason to go on.
"That sounds so good! I never knew they did that with ice cream! I must try it sometime. Though i think I could never part with my beloved strawberry. It is so good!" Kelsey said, her mouth watering and her taste buds having an orgasm of their own as she took another bite of the ice cream. Kelsey smiled as the boy came and sat down with her. Kelsey loved to meet new people and make friends. You could never have too many friends.
"I'm sorry, but I don't even know your name! How stupid is that right? I am sure you are probably in a million of the same classes as me but I am just so dense as to what your name is," Kelsey said cheerfully, laughing a little bit as she said this. Kelsey tried to remember the name, but every attempt ended in failure. She tried with all her might, but still no luck. Why was this boy's name so hard to remember?

Cooper grinned and nodded, eating another large spoonful of ice cream. It took him only seconds to get it down. He wasn't even sure if he tasted that spoonful. Still, it was good just the same. "Yeah, special request. They are always happy to do it though," he said with a shrug.
Coop let out a silent sigh of relief. He was glad to know he wasn't the only one bad with names. He wasn't even sure he was suppose to know this girl or not anyway. She looked familiar - then again, most girls were familiar too him. Hogwarts...somewhere, he thought to himself. "Cooper," he said with a curt nod. "Don't worry, I'm bad with names too," he said, trying to play that off coolly.

Smile.
Kelsey did a sigh of relief when Cooper said he was bad with names too. She was close to his name though, she knew it started with a C. "I am terrible at names sometime. I think its because I always have my head in the clouds. I am often reminded to stay in this universe and not go off into my own," Kelsey said, smiling and laughing a little bit. " Oh, my name is Kelsey, by the way. Its nice to meet you Cooper," Kelsey said politely. She looked around the shop, noticing it was just them two there. She noticed the clerk eying them, giving them the 'two kids on a date' look. Kelsey chuckled at this, knowing most people thought that way.
"So what is a guy like you doing alone at an ice cream shop?" Kelsey asked Cooper, her curiosity getting the best of her. Usually boys like this had some form of woman hanging on their arm at all times. Kelsey knew herself she would never be one of those women. She was too abnormal and different to be like the rest of the girls. Kelsey didn't care though. She loved to be different no matter what she was doing. Being the same as everyone else was so boring in her mind.

Cooper smirked to himself. He kind of liked this girl. She seemed to like food - which was a plus, because he worshiped it. She was pretty, and that counted for something. This girl, seemed a little different. He was glad so far, they shared two things in common - love for ice cream, and the inability to remember names. Flashing her his trademark, girl-catching smirk, Cooper did what he always did during introductions to girls - he took Kelsey's hand, and very gently, kissed the top of her hand, before giving it back to her. "Well, nice to meet you - Kelsey," he said smoothly.
Cooper just couldn't help himself. He really needed to work on his self-control when it came to girls. Pretty soon he'd be labeled a man-whore - and the Hogwarts hadn't started yet. He did sleep around with all the girls he met, just usually took them out on a date, and snogged with them. There were only a few instances that anything went beyond flirting, making him less of a man-whore.
"Eating," Cooper replied with a shrug. "It's a hobby," he added, and then chuckled. "No, really I came to Diagon Alley with me dad - he's got some business thing to do. So, I figured while he was doing that, I'd come in and get some ice cream," he explained. Afterward, he shoved in practically a whole scoop of ice cream in his mouth - swallowing it without complications. It amazed him sometimes that he didn't choke.

Didn't I?
Ladies and Gentlemen, we have ourselves a special case on our hands. For the first time in like ever, an actual boy is flirting with Kelsey LeBlanc. Now men, stand your battle stations. No need to go to war just yet. Just sit back, hold your fire, and let the magic happen on its own! Bobby, put the knife down! This isn't no regular war we are going to. Its the battle of lust, flirting, and everything in between.
Kelsey's mind thought of just that as Cooper kissed her hand. No boy had ever kissed her hand. It made her zany personality go off the rector scale with this. She didn't know what to do. Of coarse she blushed like a fool, no doubt about that. Was this boy just playing her? Or did he just want a quick snog? Was she the first girl he did this to? Play it smooth, Kelsey.
"Well aren't you smooth with the ladies," Kelsey said, thanking herself in her head for not making a total fool of herself in front of this boy. Kelsey didn't know she was this smooth with boys. She never really talked to any, except for her brother and James Potter. Other than that Kelsey mainly kept to herself.
"Well at least your dad was nice enough to come here with you. My parents and siblings left the house before I was even up. They always leave me alone and never bother with me. I am like the outcast of the family, though I don't think you want to hear about my pathetic life," Kelsey said, laughing a bit and smiling her award winning smile. She pushed some of her bangs out of her face, revealing her amazing hazel eyes that could warm up the earth. They were so loving and caring without a care in the world.

Cooper smiled at her reaction to his little move. All the girls had they same reaction - they blushed. Some giggled but, his goal was the blushing. It always happened. Cooper still wasn't sure what his exact intentions were with..Kelly..no, Kelsey. See? He is horrible with names. Right now, his mind was thinking about scarfing down the rest of his half mellting ice cream If he got a brain freeze, well..it was just a hazard he would deal with.
He shrugged, "That's what they tell me." Coop flashed her a smirk before digging back into his ice cream. He didn't care about flavours anymore, he just wanted to eat, just like a typical teenage boy. He hadn't realised how lucky he was, having such a tight knit family. Then again, he was an only child so...he tended to do a lot with his parents.
Cooper stared at her for a few seconds. Her eyes - they were definitely pretty. He didn't understand how someone wtih a family that leaves you behind could be so damn happy looking about it. "Oh, no it's alright. I don't mind," he said with a small smile "Are you the oldest? youngest?" Some families didn't pay attention to the oldest of their children if they were old enough to take care of theirself. Cooper always got a tad jealout when he heard of other families - dysfunctional or not. He always wished he could have a brother, or sister. He missed out on that sort of companionship. Coop did have Spencer though - he almost believed that they really wer brothers sometimes. Spence was more than his best mate to Cooper, he was his brother.
