Kat was stuck in the library today. She had plenty of homework to do, though she knew that she was never going to finish it. Her parchment and quill remained on the desk, untouched. Ugh. She put her head down on the desk; her red hair covered her face. I hate homework. Kat got up and walked down the Defense Against Magic row of the library. She pulled out a large book titled Defensive Magical Theory. Yes, Kat had this in her trunk back in the dorm, but she was too lazy to go all the way back down to the dungeons to get it. The book was at Kat’s eye level. She looked through the separation of books. A girl sat on one of the couches under the window. She looked very innocent and Kat, on the other hand, wasn’t. She had been looking to cause some damage ever since she arrived at this school. She pulled her wand out of her pocket and scanned the library for any sign of a professor. She backed up, “Locomotor ink,” she whispered as she pointed back to the desk she had been sitting at. The ink that she had brought up to the library slowly followed the motion of her wand. It followed the level of the ceiling. Kat moved her wand tip steadily until it was over the head of the girl sitting on the couch. She lowered the ink glass slowly and started to tip it over. A familiar voice interrupted her, causing her to cringe. She lost her concentration on the ink glass and it started to fall. tag; Bailey & Madelyn outfit; www.polyvore.com/kat-library/set?id=19999149notes; Maddy can save the ink from spilling

Bailey had been sitting in the library doing her studies with no interruptions or bullies so far but then again Therese had a saying that went somewhere along the lines of mess with her sister and bleed for it.She never thought Therese would do anything like that to anyone but then again some people did fear her.
Bailey smiled and thought of Darin as she worked on her potions assignment, she was writing about the veritaserum and how it is made and the side-effects of it.She loved to bury herself in the books and often her father had joked about her being ravenclaw in hufflepuff clothes. She liked the hufflepuff house ,everyone was nice there at least the ones that she knew.
She didn't notice the bottle of ink or the girl holding it above her with magic and tilting it, so it would run down on her before it was too late and her paper was ruined and her clothes too.Bailey was startled by it and looking at the paper and herself ,she felt the tears brimming in her eyes. She looked at the girl who did this to her."Why did you do this ? i haven't done you anything at all .." she was about to run away from this mean and cruel girl.
Why would anyone do this `? what have i done to her ? i mean why is she so cruel to me ? my paper is all ruined because of her and it wasn't an accident because she is standing over there and the ink fell here.

Madelyn was on her way to the library to pick up a few books that she needed for her charms class. She walked over the threshold and immediately saw a girl with ink all over her. Maddy looked around and saw her little red head cousin giggling behind a row of books. She put two and two together. "Kat!" Damn, I’m doing a really bad job with keeping her out of trouble, she thought. Madelyn walked up to the girl that was almost crying. “I’m sorry about that,” she whispered, “my cousin is a bit of a jerk. Let me fix that for you” She picked up the girl’s paper and pulled out her wand. She performed a quick spell and the spilled ink disappeared. Maddy handed the paper back to the girl. “I’m Madelyn,” she quickly introduced herself, “again, I’m really sorry about this. She’s about to get her ass kicked.” Maddy smiled at the girl. “What’s your name?” she asked politely. She waited for her to answer. “And that, over there, is my little cousin, Kat.” She pointed her wand at Kat. “Excuse me for a minute,” Madelyn said politely to the girl. She walked over to Kat who was still laughing and gave her a sharp punch in the arm to get her at tention. “What the hell was that!? You better go apologize before I send a pack of hungry dogs after you.” Maddy said seriously. She was pissed off at her cousin now. The girl seemed innocent and harmless, why would she do that? All Kat had done since she had come to Hogwarts was get into trouble. This was not cool. Madelyn had her own problems to worry about. tag; Bailey and Kat outfit; www.polyvore.com/owlery/set?id=20164855notes; sorry for the wait

Kat stood between the rows of books laughing, almost bawling on the floor. She knew it was a childish thing to do, but she really had no friends, or enemies yet, so she had nothing to lose. She stopped laughing when she heard her cousin yell her name. Oh crap, she thought. Madelyn walked over to the Hufflepuff that was on the brink of tears and started talking to her. Maddy pointed her wand at Kat and continued talking.
Madelyn walked over to Kat and gave her a swift punch to the arm. Kat smiled. “Ouch, what was that for?” Her cousin started to go into her ‘I’m pissed, you better do what I say’ mode. “What the hell was that?! You better go apologize before I send a pack of hungry dogs after you,” her cousin said. Kat stopped laughing at the though of her cousin sending dogs after her. Maddy knew that she was deathly afraid of dogs, being a cat animagus. “Not fair,” Kat said.
Maddy dragged Kat over to the girl and elbowed her in the side. Ouch. “I’m sorry for spilling ink on you,” Kat said in a droning voice rolling her eyes. She really wasn’t sorry for it. It amused her. “There. All better?” Kat turned to walk off, but a hand grasped her robes leaving her unable to walk away. Damn. There’s more.

Bailey wiped the brimming tears away from her eyes and looked at the girl who had done this to her and then at the other girl who had just arrived and took care of the ink spills and apologized."its not your fault but thank you for fixing it, I'm not that good with cleaning spells ,guess I'm not really domestic of me " she said softly and looked at the girl who was a pretty brunette who was nice enough to help her instead of acting like the other girl had.Baileys smoothed her skirt down as the other girl yelled at the one who had spilled ink on her on purpose.
Bailey never understood how someone could be mean to others that hadn't done them anything at all.She had just been sitting quietly and reading in her books with hopes of achieving a high grade on her papers when this troublemaker decided to ruin her uniform and hair by spilling ink.She sighed softly as the mean girl came back after the girl who had now said that she was her cousin ,had made her go apologize to Bailey.
"Fine .. but please don't do it again " she said softly with kind warm eyes as she decided to forgive the girl for being so mean and her uniform wasn't ruined thanks to her cousin."ah thank you miss for fixing the dress, it was very sweet of you miss"she ran a hand trough her thick full hair that had soft waves in it.Her bangs were pushed towards the right side of her face and her lips glistened with the light-pink lip-gloss she had on.

Madelyn didn't really understand why her cousin would be so mean, but then again, she had a feeling what had caused it. Kat had always been an angry child and Maddy tried her hardest to keep the kid out of trouble. It was the only way she thought would help her. Madelyn knew that people seemed to judge little Katherine too quickly. Just because Kat was a Slytherin and had been kicked out of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang didn't want her, didn't mean that she was a bad person. Yes, the girl had a mean streak, but it was only because she needed someone to feel crappier than she did. Maddy knew that Kat had been through a lot in the past two years. Guy problems can really mess with a girl, the same with friend problems. Plus, Kat had family issues, both new issues and old ones. Madelyn couldn’t deny that the girl was a social and at this point, mental, mess. Madelyn bounced out of her thoughts when Bailey spoke. “It’s not your fault, but thank you for fixing it. I’m not that good with cleaning spells, guess it’s not really domestic of me.” Maddy commented on the girl’s statement. “No problem. I don’t plan on being very domestic in the future, but this spell is very helpful. I spill ink a lot, so that spell has saved me a lot of time.” Madelyn smiled. She wanted to comfort the girl, Maddy could only imagine being innocent and vulnerable like the girl that sat before her. Madelyn Taylor was far from innocent and vulnerable. She considered herself independent and stable. Maddy looked vulnerable and young, but she could hold her own in a fight. She could take care of herself and she didn’t need anyone else’s help with it. Madelyn walked up to her cousin and reprimanded her. She couldn’t let Kat walk away as if nothing happened. Maddy made her cousin apologize to Bailey. The apology didn’t sound serious, but this was the best ‘I’m sorry’ that you were going to get from her. Bailey accepted the apology. Katherine turned to walk away, but Maddy grabbed her by the robe. She wanted to make sure that this wasn’t going to happen again. If Bailey made it onto Kat’s target list, Bailey could only hope to survive the year. If only people understood Kat like I do… Maddy thought. If people knew what had happed in the past they would cut her some slack. tag; Bailey and Kat outfit; www.polyvore.com/owlery/set?id=20164855notes; sorry, I have abs no muse right now. ):
