Tiberius Greyback was working late into the night for Astronomy. The new term had just started and life was hectic for the professor newly out of Hogwarts. It came as a shock to him that the Headmaster and school professors let him teach Astronomy. They were at a shortage of professors and Tiberius had always excelled at Astronomy. Of course, not many people knew he was a werewolf. The thing that came as a bigger shock was the fact that his twin brother, Demitri Greyback was chosen to teach History of Magic. Dem was a complete player who cared for nothing but girls. It was the actual reason he chose to teach. And History of Magic?! What a joke!
The Greyback professor hated his brother beyond compare. Part of him knew there was a demon inside, but the other half refused to succumb to that. At a young age, it just started at the point where they competed for everything. Literally everything from grades to girls to Quidditch skills. Now Demitri had lost interest in everything but girls. He had even stooped to the pitiful level of raping girls. Their relationship at turned into genuine hatred. It was even possible that they would attempt to kill at the sight of each other.
Putting down his papers, Tiberius breathed in and out deeply. Anger and disappointment swelled in his head. Luckily, it was not a full moon tonight. Otherwise, he would probably find himself waking up exhaustedly in the middle of a forest with scars, bruises, and what not on his body. Well Tiberius did not need to have it be a full moon to transform into a werewolf. This was a quality that he shared with his dead father. But during a full moon, the Slytherin would forcibly be turned into a werewolf. He had forgotten to take his Wolfsbane Potion for this month. It was the one flaw that he had. Sometimes Ty would not remember to take the potion and would end up running in the forest for his monthly evening rampage. Jack had arranged that for him and made sure no one other than expressed by him knew about his...problem.
Tiberius Greyback was perfectly aware of what others thought of him. His close friends praised his deeds. Most girls thought he was a sweet talker to have a onetime fling with. Any other people who were not in those two categories despised him. The majority of school teachers did not like him either. Either because of his cockiness, his talents, or his family history. And the boy was not very proud of what kind of tag his family had written on them. They were outcasts. Being called such things as traitors, evil doers, and the sort. Constant rumors swung around about him, his brother, and his two sisters. Whenever one of them passed a group of students, they were eyed weirdly and whispers filled the halls and ears of everyone there. Professor Jack Lestrange was the only exception to that select group of people. He believed Tiberius had potential to lead and to take charge of the werewolves during the rise of a new Dark Lord. Tiberius had pretty much already made his decision to be a Death Eater...and he was proud of it. But in reality, Jack Lestrange was just another person that he wanted to learn from. To obtain a level of power. And his use was over. Tiberius Leonardo Greyback was already a Death Eater under Bellatrix Lestrange. And not just any old Death Eater. He was third in command. The boy restrained an awkward smile from reaching his lips at the thought.
Luckily, it was not a full moon the night before. It was quite awkward getting up this morning for Tiberius Greyback. Most times, he would be hung over from drinking the night away. He would sometimes be found exhaustedly sleeping due to a night out as a werewolf.
The Astronomy professor groaned as he forced himself to get up. This office work was a true pain in the neck...and the butt...and the back. And the year had barely gotten started. Tiberius Greyback groaned once more at the thought of numerous more months of this. Well it would probably be even worse during OWLS and NEWTS. He shook the thought of it from his mind. All Ty knew was that he needed a break. A good time out. A few drinks. Some good company (if you catch my drift). And where else but The Three Broomsticks. The Greyback cleaned himself up and made himself presentable. Dressed in black dress pants and a white dress shirt with a purple tie, he made his way to his fireplace. He hesitated and looked back at his desk covered with papers. Frowning slightly, Tiberius almost convinced himself to get back to work. Using every last bit of his mental effort, he persuaded himself that paperwork could wait for later. And obviously he deserved a break.
Now to get to the bar before he changed his mind. Tiberius Greyback used his Apparation spell. Within seconds, during which he experienced a twisting, surreal sensation, he found himself at the door of The Three Broomsticks. Walking inside, he examined the dimly lit room. There were a few stragglers left in the late evening. But most were gone. Ty liked it this way. None of the usual, daytime crowd and fuss. Making his way to his good, old friend Tom he ordered his classic firewhiskey. Sipping on it, he looked around the room curiously. He frowned ratherly upset. Now that he had his drink...Tiberius just needed some company. Maybe the Astronomy professor would get lucky and a miracle of his own would come his way.

The smart girl. That is all she was to this world was the smart girl. Those three words described Mia like a book would describe its story inside. Mia was always found with a book in her hand, studying like a maniac or just for fun. Knowledge was her best friend. She needed to cram knowledge into her head, without it, she felt alone and empty. She was scared to let people know the real her so that is why she hid behind all the knowledge and facts.
Mia wasn't really what you would call popular. She only had a few close friends here and there and that was about it. She didn't mind it though. She knew that friends caused drama. She would sit down and watch around as the people around her would be caught up in all sorts of problems. Mia was too smart to be involved in any of them. She would rather just sit back and study.
The brunette never really had any boyfriends nor did she have any hookups. To herself, she was not that attractive. She felt as though she was awkward and not what guys her age were looking for. She didn't mind though, it was not the type of thing she wanted to get into during her schooling. She just wanted to focus on her work and that would be it. There was lots of time to find love. After all, she was still only young.
Working for the Daily Prophet was, at times, very stressful. New to the adult world, the eighteen year old found herself full of ambition and drive to be the best she could be at her new career. She would spend countless hours working. Did she ever take a break? The answer to that question is no. Mia saw breaks as productive time wasted. She saw every moment as a chance to further herself in the world and make sure she had a bright and successful future. She had only been with the Daily Prophet for two months now and already she had been promoted from and intern to a current events journalist, replacing someone who had been with the paper for fifteen years. That was exactly how good she was at what she did.
Tonight though, Mia was breaking her rule. She had just been working a straight week on an article, with no breaks, and found herself mentally exhausted. She needed to unwind and let lose. Seeing as she was already in Hogsmeade, she let her feet lead her into the Three Broomsticks. Now Mia was not a big drinker. Sure she had a drink on occasion, but that was it. She needed something to help clear her aching mind though, so alcohol was about the only choice. The brunette walked up to the bar and took a seat next to a man who looked about her age and was, dare say it, rather handsome. Mia took no notice to this though, he natural coldness towards men kicking in.
"I'll have a firewhiskey please," Mia said in her clear, confident voice. In a matter of seconds, there was a fresh firewhiskey before her. She delicately took the glass into her hands and took a drink, no emotion wiping over her face as the alcohol was consumed into her body. She did not try to talk to anyone around her and merely just sat there, drinking and relaxing.
