One night of confusion (Darin)

It was a late evening and Bailey felt the need for something to nibble on but that involved going down to the pear painting and tickle it but when she had to then she had to.She didn't like the dungeons because of the slytherins and well it smelled old and moldy in the hallways.She was a bit scared of some of the slytherins as they had pretty bad rumors of hurting people and some hurt girls especially.

She walked down as quietly as possible before reaching the painting and quickly tickled it and walked inside the opening.She was embraced by the warm and cozy smell of food being cooked.She loved kitchens and always had ,even as a child she would often spend hours in there just enjoying the scent and sometimes she was allowed to help with the cooking.The little house-elves ran around asking her what she wanted and she had to smile.she so often felt sorry for them as they always seemed to be treated badly and harmed for the littlest mistakes. "ah .. one cup of cocoa and a sandwich with ham and cheese please .. and no need to stress with it " she smiled kindly at the little creature and took a seat on one of the nearby chairs.

I hope that none of those bad slytherins get me .. i mean i don't want to be a victim for their cruelty or evil pranks..i wonder how come I'm the only one in my family that was sorted into hufflepuff while the rest were put into slytherin ..i mean they cant be all bad ,just look at Therese and Jake .their nice ah well at least to me ..

It was late and in the evening, Darin was laying in his bed but tonight he had a hard time trying to sleep. One of the reasons for that was that he hadn`t eaten supper before going to bed,so his stomach was growling awfully tonight. He hated that when that happened. " ah come on..stupid stomach.." he said to himself and sighed. He flipped over to his stomach to see if that helped it to be quiet,but no. Darin pulled the covers off and moved out of bed and put his pj pants on and a wifebeater and knew where he had to go now.

He went down to the kitchen,where the good food was. He headed down and opened the door to the kitchen and walked lazely in there. He didn`t care that much about who was there or what table he took a seat by. He ordered the house elf to make him a sandwich with roastbeef on. He loved meet,he was a sucker for that. After ordering he looked up and noticed that someone was sitting by the table. It was a girl,he had seen that girl once before. " Hey.." Darin said to her and gave her a nod as well.

After alittle while Bailey got her sandwich and cocoa.It all smelled so delicious and after taking one bite ,she had confirmed that it was indeed delicious.She smiled and ate before someone else entered and he seemed familiar.She thought she had seen him in one of her classes , maybe he was in slytherin or ravenclaw,she wasn't sure just yet.He was cute though but then again her brother hated it when she looked at guys.

She continued to eat and sip her cocoa before she heard him say hi."oh hi .. ah cant sleep either?"she asked softly and licked her pouty pink lips and then looked down at the food.she didn't know if she could trust him or not but she decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. "ah .. sandwich with roast-beef huh ..is it good?" she asked curiously and tried to make a conversation with him.

She licked on her bottom-lip and tasted the cocoa on her lips,it was sweet and chocolaty and just the way she liked it.She took another bite of her sandwhic and savored the taste.she didn't know what he was thinking of but hopefully he wasn't thinking of hurting her. She looked down on her pj`s and blushed as it seemed pretty childish now that she thought about it.

Darin looked at the girl sitting on the table next to him. He checked her out and found her very attractive. " ahh no..can`t sleep at all!.." he said and took a bite of his roast beef sandwich and loved the taste of that. He looked up at the girl when she asked him if it tasted good. Darin chewed on the bite and just nodded as an answer. " Yeah..it`s really good..you want a bite?" he asked her and grinned a little at her. He wondered where he had seen her before,and he was pretty sure he had seen her in the corridors or the hallways. Darin took a sip of his milk,he loved it when the milk was really cold.

Darin gave the girl a new look and wanted to talk more to her,he just didn`t know what to talk about. " what sandwich do you have..is that cheese and ham?" he asked her and smiled brighter. He liked the cheese and ham sandwich too,for a time he was addicted to it,but then he had to chance to a new sandwich so it`s roast beef now. He loved food,especially the one he took and no one noticed that he was the one taking it.

He could also smell the choclate scent from her cocoa. " You`re crazy for cocoa too..?" he asked her and looked at her. She was very pretty and cute,he must know her name. " What is your name and what house are you in??" Darin asked her and smiled some more to her.

She ate her sandwich and sipped her cocoa a bit nervously as she was sitting in the same room as a handsome boy but he was in slytherin and well she didn't know whether to trust them or fear them.She had heard so many bad thing about them.She licked her lips a bit and looked at him and then away.She blushed deeply as he looked around a bit more and then at her.he spoke to her and well she wouldn't be rude towards him."ah well that makes two of us .. I'm sorry to hear that you cant sleep " she said softly and bit her bottom-lip before looking up at the ceiling" ah i couldn't ..its your sandwich"



"ah yes it is ham and cheese " she smiled brightly and kindly at him.he really was handsome and sexy , oh no that pop up in her mind but she wasn't supposed to be thinking like that.she wasn't her sister or brother and she was still so damn young, at least in her brothers eyes. She smiled softly and licked their bottom-lip and looked over to his table."ah .. you're a slytherin .. i kinda remembered it now .. i have seen you in some of my classes " she smiled a bit more and twirled her hair a bit around her finger out of nervousness.



"ah yes ..i love cocoa but then again who doesn't ..its sweet and chocolaty " she blushed and smiled a bit more and then he asked her name and what house she was in."ah I'm Bailey , Bailey Blackwell and I'm in the hufflepuff house " she smiled a bit more and licked her bottom-lip."ah what is your name? ah i mean can i have your name as well?" she stuttered alittle bit out of nervousness.

Darin smiled to the cute girl he just started talking to. It was nice talking to someone who didn`t talk about what student to pick on or who should get that rumor or whatever. It was nice talking to someone sweet for a change. It was nice and she was very nice,good looking too. Darin felt like looking at her a bit more though. She had pretty green eyes that he liked.

"ahh i love ham and cheese too..i was like addicted to it for such a long time but now it`s roast beef that got me." he said and smiled to her brighter. She had to be the first girl that Darin really enjoyed hanging out with and talking with right now besides his sister Lisa. "oh so we do have classes together..huh..well i haven`t seen you there..probably because i sleep most of the time in classes.." he said and shrugged. Darin wasn`t lying about that,he slept most of the time in class.

He had to look at her when she twirled a lock of her hair around her finger,he had no idea on what kind of affect it had on him,but he really liked watching her doing that. It was sweet and adorable. He sighed a little and took a new bite of the sandwich. "Yes..choclate is like the best taste ever..i could eat myself fat on that shit.." he said and chuckled a little. Darin looked back at her when she said her name and what house she was in. " Bailey..and a hufflepuff..well you must be the first hufflepuff girl that i have ever noticed" he said and smiled to her. "My name..well..it`s Darin Green.." he said and smiled to her. He knew about the Blackwells but he didn`t mention that.

For some reason looking at Darin gave Bailey butterflies in her stomach and it felt like , well little sparks of electricity running trough her body as well.She felt all giddy and happy for some weird reason ,it must be the blasted hormones but she would not be some hornball.it was enough that her sister and brother were hornballs.
She somehow couldn't help but to look at him ,he had lovely brownish green eyes with semi-long hair that just seemed so soft to touch.

"our house-elf used to make sandwiches like this when i was younger and well it helps me sleep sometimes and well cocoa is a great comfort too" she smiled a bit softly and looked around a bit in the kitchen as she didn't want to stare at him and make him feel uncomfortable."you shouldn't be sleeping in class .. you will miss all the education .. we are going to need when we graduate or for our owls " she smiled warmly at him and felt that fluttering inside her stomach again.


She continued twirling her hair nervously round her finger as she hadn't really been alone with a boy like this before and never such a handsome boy as he was."ah well i hope i don't get fat , i try to not become overweight on it as well it would be hard to start a family then .. I intend to make my family proud of me and especially my brother and sister." she smiled and sipped the now lukewarm cocoa and licked her lips to savor every bit of chocolate taste on them."its nice to meet you Darin Green ..hmm that name sounds awfully familiar ..do you have any siblings?"

Darin looked at Bailey and stopped chewing. " Stop sleeping in class..what are you talking about..of course i sleep through boring classes..nothing can keep me awake in those classes..but maybe it will now" he said and smirked at her. Yeah,Darin was smitten by this girl somehow. It was weird,he had never ever liked a girl like this before,but there was something about Bailey. He didn`t care if she was so sweet and shy and a good girl. He finished his sandwich and drank the rest of the milk. " ahh education..do we really need it ? " he asked and smiled at her.

Darin had to chuckle a little. " You..getting fat..no way..you will stay like that forever.." he said and smiled to Bailey. He reacted on the comment that she wanted to make her sister and brother proud.." but why..why make them so damn proud..?" he asked her and shrugged. He looked at Bailey and smiled a little.

"Ahh yeah it`s a joy to meet me..but a pleasure to meet you " he said and wiggled his brows at her. He sucked at flirting with women sometimes,he just had to keep it cool and do it his way. "Yes..i have two older sisters..Elizabeth and Lisa " he said and smiled to her. He loved his sisters to death.

"that is not good Darin .. we need to know all of this to understand what our limits are and how the society was built ..and how we can better ourselves " she smiled brightly and looked into his eyes and wondered how he had gotten so lazy with his schoolwork , she even wondered how he had passed his classes."i should hope that you will find some energy to stay awake in classes " she tucked her hair behind her ears and looked up at the ceiling."yes we do need an education if we are going to get somewhere in life"


"i hope i wont , and no one stays young forever unless their are a vampire but i don't see myself being picked out to be one and i could never feed of another human being , i mean to hurt them so and possible kill them .." she had soft pout and then he asked her she should make them proud."Because i want them to feel that they can be proud of me , to make myself worthy of our name " she spoke softly before a soft yawn slipped past her lips.



He wiggled his brows after saying that it was a pleasure to meet her and she wasn't sure what he meant with the eyebrows but she kinda enjoyed the attention he gave her.Her cheeks grew rosy red and she felt those electricity sparks running trough her body again."hmmm .. i have heard of her , Lisa i mean , she is friends with my brother i suppose "

"ahh whatever..what i do in classes is my buisness.." he said and looked at her. No one had nothing to do with what he did in the classes,either it was sleeping or paying attention or not showing up. "But some of the classes are so damn boring..i`d rather go to my dorm and stay there the whole day instead of classes.." he said and didn`t know if he had energy to last this year. He had skipped a few classes.

"Mmm vampires..i don`t care about them..they don`t interest me at all..boring creatures.." he said and shrugged and looked at Bailey. He had his own opinions about things and people and other stuff. He just didn`t want to keep it on the inside like some other wuzz. "well then i guess you have to make them proud then " he said and smiled to her and looked around in the kitchen and then noticed that she was yawning.

Darin noticed that Bailey was blushing. He had to smile at that. " You are blushing..it`s cute" he said and smiled at her again. He liked her a lot. "yepp..my sister knows..Jake.." Darin said and smiled some again.He looked at Bailey some more and then yawned some himself. " Wow..what time is it ?" he asked her and tried to find a watch.

"I'm sorry i didn't mean to anger you ..its just i feel strongly about school and education" she felt a bit bad for pushing him like that but she didn't know what would happen now.Would he leave out of anger and play some evil prank on her."what classes do you find some boring?"she smiled and licked her lips a bit before looking at him and into those handsome and gorgeous eyes again.


"mhm ah well i think they are somewhat frightening , its scary that he have such an easy ability to take a persons life.."she didn't know if he was angry with her or not.She had feeling that he found it pretty pathetic that she wanted to make her family to make them proud.

Her cheeks grew a darker shade of pink as he said it was cute when she blushed like that.She liked him and found him to be one of the kinder slytherins so she felt more at ease.She got a feeling that he wouldn't hurt her physically or do mean things to her."thank you ..ah i figured so" she smiled a bit nervously as she got tingly feelings in her stomach again."hmm i don't know but I'm sure its pretty late at night now ..its okay if you want to go back to your dorm..i wont be able to sleep so i might as well do some homework " she smiled softly and looked up at the ceiling as to not stare at him , was she developing a crush?

Darin looked at Bailey and just smiled at her. " Oh you didn`t anger me..it`s just that i get a little annoyed by things like that. It`s like having me saying to you try skipping some classes because you need to get a little bad" he said and smirked at her. It was cute how a nice girl she was,he was sure that she had never ever done anything wrong in her life,and that she wasn`t going to do it either,at least not when she went to school here.

"Pffft..vampires are vampires..pale and boring..they are so..dark " he said to her and smiled. "Well..all of us wants to make someone proud..i don`t have anyone right now that i want to be proud of me..i`m too lazy for that.." Darin said and looked down at the empty plate and then back at Bailey again. She was a sweet girl,she was that kind of girl you couldn`t her her feelings.

Bailey wasn`t tired at all,neither was Darin. He just wanted to hang out with her all night long. " Are you nuts..going back to that cell..i`d rather stay here and hang out with you all night long..if that is okey with you Bailey" he said with a nice tone of voice. She was interesting for being a Blackwell. "Let`s just sit here and talk about things so we get to know eachother better " he suggested for Bailey. He folded his arms over the chest and just looked at her,seeing that pink tint of blush on her cheeks. It was very cute he had to admit again.

"it is good i didn't mean to annoy you ..i just wanted to help and maybe get you to pay some more attention as it would be a shame to not graduate from hogwarts ..if you like i could tutor you?" she offered and smiled brightly at him."if would never be bad ,i mean i don't want to be a bad person "

"ah .. well their a scary kind .. i mean i wouldn't want to be alone with one "she shivered slightly " werewolves are scary too "she sighed softly and looked up at the ceiling.She licked her lips and looked at the house -elf that was so eager to service them"uhm ..id like some brownies please and perhaps two scoops of ice cream ,would you like some Darin?"

She laughed softly as he spoke of his dorm as a cell and that he would rather be here with her.She blushed deeply at that and well if he truly wanted to spend time with her, she couldn't say no to him and it was quite a compliment to her as she had never had a boy say something like that."sure you can spend time here with me if you want too " she smiled kindly and took a bite of the now served brownies.She absolutely adored chocolate and the way it makes me feel."So tell me more about yourself Darin " she offered him a brownie and looked at the distance between the two of them."uhm if you like then you can sit here with me "

Darin looked at Bailey again. " It`s okey Bailey..i can handle it..don`t worry.." he said and gave her the thumbs up. It was nice of her to offer tutoring him. " really..you would do that..okey sounds good to me then" he said and smiled and felt a bit more happy now that she wanted to tutor him. One way to get closer to her,it was a very good thing. He smirked and looked at her.


"Naah no one wants to be alone with those creatures..besides..they are no fun at all..just boring.." he said and smiled to her. Darin had no interest in vampires or the damn werewolves. They were boring in his eyes. "Ohh yes...brownies sounds very nice..i want some too" he said to the house elf. It was nice to hang out here with her.


Darin liked Bailey`s laugh,it was sweet and it did something to you. He had to laugh a little as well. " It`s nice spending time with you Bailey..i like your company" he said and smiled back at her more. Darin accepted the brownies she offered and then she wanted to know more about him. " Ahh more about me..i`m a lazy ass...i love to sleep..as you know i have to sisters,who is pretty awesome by the way.." he said and smiled. " What else..i like candy and pretty girls..like you" he said and smiled some more at her. Darin smiled and moved closer to her. "There ..now we are close.." he said and nudged her arm a little and smiled.

"thats good Darin but it shouldn't be bad to have classes " she smiled softly and looked at him.She wondered what his lips felt like but she couldn't kiss him as it would piss her family off.She licked her lips and looked around a bit nervously. "so should i tutor you on Wednesday's? I'm usually in the library then " she had to smile at the thought of being close to Darin and getting to know him better.

She shook her head at the thought of being alone with those creatures and she wondered if he was being brave or just lazy when he said those things."ah these are delicious ,thank you " she smiled at the house-elf.For some reason her stomach felt like it had something flapping and fluttering around in it.



She smiled brightly as she heard his laughter,She always felt so much better when she heard people laugh and saw them smile.She really never wanted someone to be unhappy about things.When he said he liked her company ,well it made the fluttering even worser and she couldn't help but smile and laugh softly."i like your company too Darin ..I like it very much " she had every intention to tutor him and hopefully he wouldn't mind it."well thats great that you care about your sisters , i love my half sister and my brother very much .. They are the most precious people i know" she smiled brightly and licked her bottom-lip again.

"ah I'm a big candy-monster ..i cant get enough of it sometimes but its not that good for my health..ah you think I'm pretty?"her blush deepened and grew to a darker shade of pink.His smile was so sweet and handsome and as he nudged her arm,she gave a soft giggle and smiled brightly.She couldn't believe that such a handsome boy thought she was pretty."yes we are close now...So Darin what else do you like to do ?"
